So i was thinking instead of raising the cap of population of clans. Why not put on a very high gold cost , Maybe 3,000 g at start, with a 24hrs cooldown it give 5 population expansion And each new upgrade multiplies the cost required by a factor of 4. And to purchase these upgrade you must travel to a freeport. so mega tribes would have to work toward a goal to increase pop size rather then zerg flood from day 1. and of course the limit would be 25 extra pop in additional to the base population.

You can’t be serious!!! You’re joking surely!! i literally read your post 3 times to try and gauge the tone to see if it was tongue in cheek or not. If not, this is literally one of the most ridiculous posts I’ve ever seen on the internet! What world do you live on that has such people separated by such assumptions? Im a professional, and I like RC cars and computer games! One of the guys that comes out with us is a politician, another one is a high up firearms officer. someone I used to game with was a senior judge.

Have you created an accordian but don't have the ability to play it? Check out my Autohotkey song macro tool: http://delayatlas.com/songmaker All you have to do is install Autohotkey, create your song, copy the text to a text editor and save the text with the .ahk extension like "mysong.ahk". Double click the file and press F12 or whatever toggle key you chose, and your character will start playing the song! The toggle key will pause/unpause the script. For example, this is the Lazytown You Are a Pirate song: r--r--gdsa--rrrrdrgiii--rrrrdrgdsa--a--g-hg-r---

Loot is a problem. I have sailed past more flotsam than I have opened. You just get tired of feeling disappointed when the BP is utterly useless. Loot should feel valuable, but you get so many thatch structures, even in high value crates, that you get discouraged. Also, having the yellow ones, is a mistake. We just run over those, or ignore them if they are out of the way. What's the point? Even the purple ones have mostly useless crap...so why stop for a yellow one. Why not increase the amount of good stuff in them, and get rid of the yellow crates. Make them different colors, just to add color to the game, but don't have the colors equal a value. One thing I like about the sunken treasure, and the map bottles, is that you don't know the value until you are right up close to it. To be honest, the better BPs aren't likely to get used, but it would feel better getting something good, than constantly getting trash that you just toss on the ground the first chance you get. One way to add more value is to to the same as ARK does...include a chance for the blue print to be an item, instead. Give it a random boost to the stats, as if a crafter made the item with the BP. And...consider reducing the mythios cost for items. It's depressing getting mythical BPs, knowing you will never use it, because the mythios is so hard to come by. And, why are the Legendary BPs more rare than the Mythical BPs?

*Pauses with forkful of calamari halfway to mouth.* Oh. Um. This is embarrassing. Did you want to do that *this* weekend? I uhhh...thought no one would care really. Everyone seemed to be doing other stuff and I just found this great recipe with an amazing sauce. You should really try this sometime, it’s superb. But maybe now’s not the time, I know. Look I’m really sorry, it’s just I was really hungry and I figured another one would spawn soon enough... *Puts fork down and shuffles his napkin and wine glass around awkwardly, looking off into the distance at nothing in particular.*

Trench squid doesn't spawn during x2 event Or really low quantity compared to whales

Exactly. Forget that one guy and cater to me. I don’t understand why we can’t all put our differences aside and focus on what’s important here. Me.

Trench squid are located at the top of the trench right where it goes from dark to light. But yes you are right the spawns are horrible best bet is right after a server reset. Put in preserving bag till need ot they only last about 3 mins each (3hrs in preserving bag)

You are too stupid to talk, you dont know these devs i come from ARK these devs are behaving the same exact way as they did on ARK, clans like BLDX duped their hearts out on ark and nothing got done for them if you have a streamer you are 100% safe from any bans.

All that you heard is true. In my strong opinion, only owners and admins are the ones that are having fun in a zerg company. All the others are replacables with no name and personality, seen as drones and cannon fodder. Stick to your freedom to build what you want, sail where you want and do what you want for as much as you can. Of course, where was this particular exploit born? You have 1 guess. Yes, in a zerg, a breeding ground for all glitches and game exploits.

TL; DR: Rights need to be better balanced between settlers and settlement owners. Lotus has good ideas. I don’t believe that there is a perfect answer that will make everybody happy. I think that overall the new system fixes more issues from the old system than it creates itself. It allows most people to have a space to build, even if they cannot find an island for themselves. Before I go into details, yes, our company owns a small island in the south-eastern tropics. There are no metal nodes on our island, minimal fiber, a fair amount of trees and stones , a good amount of crystal, and tons of three kinds of saps. To me, the largest issues that it creates is the potential for friction between the owners and settlers. We welcome settlers on our island, and do appreciate when they ask us about where it’s ok for them to build and where not to build. Our company is made up of four small companies or couples to get the island, and each of the groups has their own small base. We have one German settler on our island that one of our members was able to do some basic communication with. He built a nice base near one of our groups, and doesn’t cause any troubles. On the other hand, we have another settler that started building a massive base right where our main forest is. I’m not even sure what language he was speaking, as he only tried communicating once, but I tried to communicate non-verbally for him to not build in the woods. I removed the sections that he had put down in the trees, they were only a few at that point, and put up some billboards thinking that he would get the message. He didn’t. He built bigger into the trees, even up to and beside the billboards. He also built a massive pen cutting off the easiest path between the small island we’re on and the island he was on with the trees. He also built a large, walled in section, presumably to keep that area for himself, that cut off travel for all on that side of the island. I removed the offending structures and then put a few pillars down to prevent him from expanding into those areas again. There is still a large area around him to expand into, and he has built that way now, but he also started foundation spamming in the water around his base. There are several boat building bases and traps that have been left on our island, but the owners periodically come by and refresh them so we can’t remove them. We’ve asked them to remove them, and they just give a non-comital response and leave them there. I can’t really exaggerate how small our island is. On the map it looks like it’s small-medium sized, and it cost 47 points to buy, but it’s really one small island with 5 smaller islands around it, with a lot of the water being either too shallow to build a boatyard or anchor a ship leading to being too deep for a shipyard or to anchor a ship. We’ve found several shipwrecks in the shallows, and put up buoys when we find the ones extending out into the water. I think that there needs to be a rebalancing of the rights from the settlement owners and the settlers, at least in PvE. It’s too easy for the settlement owner to get screwed over by a settler for either taking a day off patrolling, or just taking a day off. At the same time, the settlers do need some form of protection from settlement owners that would just arbitrarily destroy their buildings. I think that Lotus has a great idea for a starting point by allowing the settlement owners to specify who can build on the island, and if alliances were increased for PvE then the owner could have an alliance to invite settlers to, once they have both spoken to each other and both parties expectations have been agreed upon. I also think that increasing the time for a settlement owner to be able to remove offending structures should be increased. I’d like 5 days to account for reduced play time during the week, but even 3-4 days would be adequate. If the settlement owner felt the need to evict a settler, there could be an option to flag all of a settlers buildings for demolition. That could start the 10 day destruction timer, and during that time the owner of the structures should be able to remove the structures themselves and get full resources back to rebuild in a new location. Another of Lotus’ ideas that I agree with is to increase upkeep in general, but especially for larger companies that own multiple islands. To also incentivize these companies moving to larger islands as they grow, settlement owners should be able to pickup or destroy their own structures at any time for full resources. This removes the need for them to start over again on their new island with half of the resources they already had, which is another reason for them to just stay where they are currently.

the worst part its the same ppl who cheated in season 1 and they sit on stream and openly say how they did it and how they used the ingame aimbot bug.. and still u only raise a finger against them and let them off with a pad on the back... its just sad that u dont take this seriously cus alot of ppl and companies quit cus of this and u letting htem go unpunished will make even more quit OR cause EVERYONE to abuse the next bugs which will be live with ur next mega update.,...

Oh look. One of these. Let’s see if it’s meaningfully different from any of the hundreds of identical posts I saw on Ark’s forums the past couple of years. Nope. Or any of the hundreds of similar posts bemoaning weekend oriented events on the forums of all the MMO’s I’ve played since 2004. Nope. The world does not always schedule itself to your personal convenience. If you are complaining about this here, it means you have food, shelter, clothing and all of your true needs met. Be thankful you have the time to whinge about the truly trivial. If you can’t see it that way, then somehow you’ll just have to pick up the pieces of life and move on.

How about this...the Megas ruined the relaunch when it became known that they were going to colonies. Having an Empires server, and Colonies server was a good idea, but the Devs didn't take that far enough. First, when the megas told them that they wanted the Colonies rules, they should have made the Empires server, just like the Colonies server, but catering to large Companies. Not everyone enjoys being in a large company. I heard about some of the rules in some of them. Not fun at all. I merged my company with another company, thus giving up Admin status. I am not enjoying this experience, and as a result of having been leaders, and now not being able to do anything, most of my company have now quit the game. The reality is that MO is more fun than MMO for a lot of us. MMO takes too much time because of exploiters, insiders, and griefers. It is more fun when you have a small group of people that you know, and enjoy playing the game with. We play to enjoy ourselves. We aren't looking for unpaid employment. This game needs for there to be servers that are truly dedicated to small companies, and that also means different rates, since you have a lot less people to get things done. So you need to be able to get more done, per person. Slightly higher rates...3x for gathering, I think is good. Taming is fast enough but breeding needs to be faster for a small company server. And more skill points per level...front loaded, so that small companies can get things done that need to be done. Small companies, up to 25 people...no alliances. Anyone caught doing so, would be Dev Wiped. As it stands, I am not at all motivated to play the game.
