Ty Knivet. At the end of the day the bases in general need better strengths. Small companies should be allowed to turtle. Large force fights will take longer but isn't that what they are in it for? Battles apon battles? Stronger bases= less farming and more time building ships which= more ships on the water for those same people to shoot. I don't understand why large groups are even bothering with mom and pop groups let them prosper it puts more ships on the water eventually. Thrilling chases and unexpected pvp on the high seas is why were here...not to get blown up every night while we sleep by a bunch of red headed step children whos mommy didn't let them suck the teet enough so they hate everyone. I swear to go I have literally only had one ship killed in actual live pvp every other ship that I have owned has been sunk while I was offline.

I am extremely upset and dissappointed that you would make it to where you cant stand on another players boat. There are infinitely better ways to solve the PvP problem on PvE servers, but I swear to god if I lose all my armor and gear again from accidently getting on some-elses boat while treasure hunting im going to write a five page essay on everything with this game. Dont get me wrong I love the game, but even saying "early access" doesn't cover for this shit.

None of those images show the full extent of those buildings and in any case if they were sealed, then that's probably an earlier problem with spawning mechanics that has since been fixed because it has never happened to me or anyone I know since dec 26th and what if it was tigers spawning in your building? or crocs? would you ask to nerf them too in regards to dmg and hp? no you would sort the frickin spawns out. also where's the problem in those images in regards to killing that wolf? its stuck and unable to chase you. You are in fact demonstrating a very easy kill. This is about damage and health. What are they wrecking? your stone structures? wolves bite through bricks do they? We used to use a thatch 3x3 hut and everytime there was wolves, we would have 1 climb on the roof and another to go pull them into range. If its in your building its even easier to kill. If its outside your building and your on the inside, its easy to kill. If your out in the wild and one finds you then you put your shit away (pick, axe, lollypop whatever) and you find the closest downward slope and jump when it bites, this knocks you forward creating distance use it to get to the water or to a tall rock, crevice whatever you can find to block the wolf. Oh also luring them near to larger passive animals helps like elephants and bears. I've stated you can check around corners, over ridges, increase visibility and overall take a more prepared approach. Don't run around blindly strolling into packs of wolves and then complain they are too strong. That's like sailing to a powerstone island at lv12 and saying its too hard. SPAWN ISSUES ARE SEPERATE TO STATS. IF 100 SNAKES SPAWN ON YOU THEN THEIR DAMAGE IS NO LONGER RELEVANT EVEN WITH 1 DAMAGE YOU WILL BE KILLED FAST. well others have managed fine so what does that tell you? I swear people come to forum to read and write but seem to skip a lot of the reading. points are being thrown here that are 90% to do with spawns, when all I'm asking them to rollback the stats so that every wolf I tame doesn't get ko'd by pidgeons and I don't have to waste all my points into hp in order to counter the nerf. I mean sure I can just go tame twice the amount of wolves as I had before, but I cant even find a decent level one now and I don't know if its because they lowered the spawning of higher lvl's or if its because they level passively in the wild and are no longer surviving long enough to achieve higher levels.

I swear to god I got through about 75-80% of it first off. It was pretty long and a good read but damn I just kept scrolling and after awhile i had to stop, no offense to you at all. ill inform you real quick since you never played ark. A lot of people played ark but they didn’t actually follow ark, no matter what they say. i followed it so closely that even after I stopped playing I was still looking at every twitter and forum post. Ark was a game I was very passionate about. Still went back a few days ago just to say hi to some buddies and helped them grind out some mats just because that is what I do. jeremy was the biggest problem with wildcard and now jeremy is the biggest problem with grapeshot. He is the owner, the final say, and the main idea man behind everything. He was able to come up with two very good ideas at a grass roots level, but NO MATTER WHAT, he always destroys it because of his ego. He always wants to be “cool” so to speak. he was silent for 6 months on twitter before atlas. Not one word on ark. Then once atlas comes he is not only all over Twitter but he is literally copy and pasting what the atlas twitter said. To make things worse, he tweets it before the atlas twitter tweets it. He has to have that thunder, no matter how pathetic it is. ark was one of the ones that COULD have been one of the great ones. The stage is already set with atlas. There is absolutely no possibility for any greatness. Nobody forgot the past and even though they tried to bury it, history has already repeated itself. It really doesn’t matter how many copies it might sell. Atlas will always be a failure because it failed before it began. End of story

Just curious about this tbh. I know some of you guys have infinitely superior experience dealing with them to me, so wondered if I may be able to gain some views! Is it better to sail through, around, try to avoid each and everyone? or some, seem to say... pull in your sails, and sit it out... Some of my own observations on these (and we lived to tell the tale, granted battered and beaten up a bit).. Trying to avoid twisters is neigh on impossible... literally surrounded by at least 10 of the suckers last night, in a circle, ring around the boat so, no matter what we were going to end up in one, and with the wind changing direction so much, you can end up catching ships of the damned, and getting into a right royal tizz. That's what happened last night... was trapped in cyclones, and had TWO SotD on us. We were in our speed resource Schooner (trusty RMS Fleetwood), so we just prayed for a break in the storm to run. It did, storm cleared up, put the wind to the rear and made like roadrunner. Ran out of materials for repairs and made emergency anchor to scramble materials from the beach... After this, I'm more afraid of getting caught in the cyclone net and being killed by SotD, than the cyclones themselves.... trying to navigate around seems to lead to disaster pulling agro from the damned (who appear immune to cyclones)...... Is it better to stop dead, in sea... Wait it out? Do cyclones agro like NPCs? or do they just circle around at random..... I swear they have sentience.. They (imo) sure as hell come for you, and box you in! So, what would you guys do? Pull in the sails, scramble below deck and do damage mitigation, or try to avoid the circus, and sail through it risking bumping into ghost ships? (whilst on this, ghost ships are WAY too numerous still, they're an obstacle course in their own right, let alone coupled with cyclones!) Cheers for reading me out here.

Its the engine, i swear... did it in ark, did it in conan, now doing it in atlas. Ships also been lost after a hard server shut down, and restart. We had one beached that was dung into the sandbar and was a complete ship still.

should still be at O14.. hasn´t spawned at C6 yet. I swear to god if they changed the timer to 50d secretly.. everyone is waiting in the freaking cave dying all over again and again. anyone can confirm its still at O14?

I have been on a few official servers where profanity was auto censored, but this forum is as bad as steam. Why do posters feel the need to f every word or post. Please tighten up and have a swear filter. I sometime have my grandchildren here, I cannot dare read these forums due to so much foul Language. I understand they have issues, but please keep the kiddies in check. I am 62 , and in my day, everyone had respect, the devs are doing there job, if you worked in a shop or cafe, would you serve someone swearing at you, no. Stop behaving like spoilt brats.

Maybe the player base would show some respect, when the player base feels like the devs even slightly respect them. Just like the devs couldn't care less about us, we couldn't care less where your grandchildren read some swear words, lets be honest, they've probably already seen them before online or heard their parents say them. For the record, you have literally no right to ask us to calm it down, when YOU are the one who brought your grandchildren onto forums for a MMO Pirate game that has PUBLIC EXECUTIONS. Maybe you should rethink your thought process before asking others to do it. You brought them to this circus,, now you need to either sit them down or walk them out, it is not our job to cater to your grand kids, its your job to keep therm away from such things. Would you take your grandchildren to a bar on a Friday night and complain about all the drunks shouting and swearing? because that is what you have essentially done. Honestly, it is laughable.

No one is accepting the problems, not one person has said, "the games perfect". it's stupid when people call everyone a fanboy just cause they're not frothing at the mouth every time something goes wrong.. What people are calling out are those who bought and EA title and are expecting it to run smoothly, no bugs or the Devs to magically make any problems they find disappear in the next 5 mins. You said you're leaving cause it's broken and glitchy, then don't buy a fucking EA game lol. I don't like to swear, but it's just pure player ignorance at this point. Again, no one is happy with the bugs, but most of us (I hope) understand what an EA title is and the cons that come with it. On the topic of a review, no game should be reviewed in EA, because the review comes pointless after the first few patches. Stema for example, a lot of the reviews are about not being able to access the server, thos eprobelkms ended weeks ago, meaning the rewview become pointless and paint a falsh picture of the current game. With a game that's changing day by day, week by week, month by month, the points you make in your review on that day will become moot, meaning they will have to update it constantly and change their score.
