Found 13 results

  1. This is a list of items I have talked about with those I play with that we have decided we hope to see. Some have taken some research, and others were created with a list that we put together during our conversations. I thought to put it here, and then expand on it as more items are discussed below – if they are – or as a group with those I play with. So please read through it if you too are interested in the possibilities that the game to bring with it and add them below if there is more that you would like to see, and the next time I am pop on I would be happy to add them to the list. Section One: Ships Sloops – In Game Barque (Bark) – A sailing ship with from three to five masts, all of them square-rigged except the after mast, which is fore-and-aft rigged; a small vessel that is propelled by oars or sails. Schooners – In Game Brigantines – In Game Square-rigged Ships - These were more often than not merchant ships, identified by their large square sails and three masts. The large hold meant that they were slow but great for longer crossings. Not very agile, pirates were not likely to choose a square-rigged ship as their first choice, but would be great for stealing large amounts of booty. You might have seen these kinds of ships among a pirate fleet. Galleons – In Game Clipper - A fast yacht-like ship with three sails and a square rig. Cog – A small warship Gally - A low, flat vessel propelled partly, or wholly by oars. Jolly Boat - A light boat carried at the stern of a larger sailing ship. Long Boat - The largest boat carried by a ship which is used to move large loads such as anchors, chains, or ropes. Pirates use the boats to transport the bulk of heavier treasures. Lugger - A two-masted sailing vessel with a lugsail rig. Man-of-War or Man-O’-War - A heavily armed vessel designed and outfitted for battle. Pink - A small sailing vessel with a sharply narrowed stern and an overhanging transom. Pinnace - A light boat propelled by sails or oars, used as a tender for merchant and war vessels; a boat for communication between ship and shore. Pirogue - A small canoe typically used in the Caribbean often used by pirates to overtake much larger vessels. Caraval - The caravel was a small, highly maneuverable sailing ship developed in the 15th century by the Portuguese to explore along the West African coast and into the Atlantic Ocean. The lateen sails gave it speed and the capacity for sailing windward. Carrack - A carrack was a three- or four-masted ocean-going sailing ship that was developed in the 14th to 15th centuries in Europe. Frigate - A frigate is a type of warship, having various sizes and roles over time. In the 17th century, a frigate was any warship built for speed and maneuverability, the description often used being "frigate-built". Junk - an efficient design that is fast, easy to handle and able to sail upwind. Its most distinguishing feature are sails divided into a number of horizontal panels by bamboo slats (battens). These give the sail better aerodynamics and allow reducing the sail area for different wind conditions East Indiaman Ships – Batavia, Gotheborg, Amsterdam, & Arniston – Meant for large amount of weight and long journeys. Section Two: Building Expand Wood Building Items: We have so many different resources, but seldom do they come into play unless you are crafting an advanced blueprint. My suggestion would bring and additional use to the different types. Using a new bench, called the Lumber Mill, the following items could be crafted; Wood– Standard, crafted in your inventory with any type of wood Wedgwood – Advanced, crafted at Lumber Mill, adds slightly better temperature control to enclosed areas, resembles a log cabin. Darker in color in comparison to Agedwood variant. Strongwood – Advanced, crafted at Lumber Mill, adds slightly higher defense, resembles wooden wall from Ark. Darker in color in comparison to Softwood variant. Ironwood – Advanced, crafted at Lumber Mill, adds slightly faster repair rate, resembles lumber wall from Ark Primitive +. Lighter in color in comparison to lightwood variant. Softwood – Advanced, crafted at Lumber Mill, adds slightly higher defense, resembles wooden wall from Ark. Lighter in color in comparison to Softwood variant. Agedwood – Advanced, crafted at Lumber Mill, adds slightly better temperature control to enclosed areas, resembles a log cabin. Lighter in color in comparison to Wetwood variant. Lightwood – Advanced, crafted at Lumber Mill, adds slightly faster repair rate, resembles lumber wall from Ark Primitive +. Darker in color in comparison to Ironwood variant. Expand Stone Building Items In a similar manner to that which is present with the wood types list above, I suggest the following. Using a new bench called the Construction Table, the following items could be crafted; Stone - Standard, crafted in the smithy with any type of stone. Coquina – Advanced, crafted at Construction Table, adds slightly faster repair rate, resembles stone structures from Ark. Light in color Granite – Advanced, crafted at Construction Table, adds slightly higher defense, resembles a brick-like structure. Light in color. Limestone – Advanced, crafted at Construction Table, adds slightly faster repair rate, resembles stone structures from Ark. Dark in color Marble – Advanced, crafted at Construction Table, adds slightly higher defense, resembles a brick-like structure. Dark in color. Sandstone – Advanced, crafted at Construction Table, adds slightly better temperature control to enclosed areas, resembles short bricks and stucco, red in color Slate – Advanced, crafted at Construction Table, adds slightly better temperature control to enclosed areas resembles short bricks and stucco, grey in color Expanding Decorative Items Not all of these items may be appropriate for ships, but should be available when building on land: Beds: The one we have is a cot at best and not a very good looking one. Cot – in game Simple Bed – cot with a mattress and blanket Fancy Bed – bed frame with mattress, blanket, and pillows. Large Fancy Bed – double wide bed frame with mattress, blankets, and pillows. Chair – in game Fancy Chair – with cushions Kings Chair – with higher back, larger size, and cushions. Bench – small wooden bench, looks cheaply made. Fancy Bench – has a back and arm rests Table – in game Square table – just a smaller version of the current table. Wall lamp – in game Hanging lamp – resembles the lamp in Ark Primitive+ Standing torch – resembles the torch in Ark Braziers – resembles those in Ark Primitive+ Table lamps – a light to sit on a table Wall Sconce – a light to hang on the wall Candle – something to set on a table Lantern – a light that you can carry when dark. Woodstove – a campfire in a small stove – can be used for cooking Fireplace – a campfire in a small fireplace with a 3 wall high chimney – can be used to cook meats A chimney add on could also be created it the click-through menu in order to expand the chimney so that it will go higher if needed. Grand Fireplace – larger fireplace with large fire, gives off warmth, can cook meat, and has a 3 high chimney that can be added too. Section Three: Food & Cooking Cheese Pickled vegetables Chicken – could be changed to Poultry as another meat type Porridge Bread Butter Pottage Pie Apples Pineapple Oranges Lemons Melons Bananas Section Four: Clothing Thus far we have a handful of craftables and a number of skins available for purchase in the market. However it would be nice to have it expanded a bit and to have different types of clothing available at different markets. Each “Freeport” could have a style to it and that style could including clothing from that region, both men’s and women’s – not just gender neutral. I say this realizing that yes, it is a pirate themed game – however it is also one that allows people to build homeports and villages and having a few female NPC’s in dresses could make if feel a bit more authentic. This would also allow the use of clothing themes from different nationalities including those from the different types of pirates that exist in the world. Section Five: Creatures Deer Antelope Elk Moose Camel Zebra Cougar Panther Eagle Sea Lion Killer Whale – Orca Beluga Narwhal Donkey Turkey Prairie Dog – Shoulder Pet Otter – Shoulder Pet Llama Emu Goat Panda Walrus Puffin Gorilla Leopards Arctic Fox – following attack pet Cheetah Jaguar Koala Lemur – shoulder pet Okapi Hippopotamus Reindeer Bison Takin That is what I have thus far. But I am sure more will come up. Personally, even if these items aren't added - I will continue to play and can't wait to see what will.
  2. Here’s a creative idea to play with, how about a Barracks style structure that reduces the food cost for NPCs. Any thoughts?? The Silo is great for our NPCs. We can stash a bunch of gold in there and we won’t have to worry about it for 2 weeks. However, our berries will decompose and run out in a few days. Not bad but it would be cool to have food last longer.
  3. New season, new start, same company as in S3 The crimson shops are back up running and ready to serve the community once again with the same crimson service and approach as last season. From the map shops to the tames, from food orders to custom themed ships & sails, everything is back up and running. We also prepared a personal spawnpoint again for all the customer but this time not a raft but your very own personal sloop equipped with a bed, resourcebox, bookshelf and storage box. PM one of us to claim your own sloop. bare in mind u need to regular spawn on it so it doesn't decay. At the same time the shipyards are up and running to provide people again with custom themed ships & sails. After having build 164 ships for the community on eu-pve last season we looking forward to seeing u again for new creations. Feel free to have a look at our community discord in the link below at #completed-orders & #customer-feedbackto give u a idea of the work we do and whats possible and ofcourse u can always pm if u have specific wishes for your ships/sails. At the time of making this post we are not in possesion yet of a 200% max lvl shipyard and will post it on our discord once we have. For the time being its possible to order custom ships of 100% quality ships with reduced prices on Galleons, Brigatines and Schooners, pm on discord if u have interest in that. Maria's Kitchen is up and running aswell and ready to recieve food orders in quantity aswell as Razortaming food . check out the #cooking section. The coming days/weeks we will be filling the shops by the day and getting the bred tames in so keep an eye on those aswell We also start with the popular map shops again last night with Fine, Journey and Masterwork maps for people to buy.   4. Vitamin system: I'm very enjoying the survival games so I think that vitamin system is a very fresh idea, but it needs more balance to make it more rewarding and less silly for salty players. I bet the more then half of ATLAS community don't like to keep vitamins in balance and they rather die than find and eat ten berries to fulfill vitamin C (I agree that sometimes it is a very convenient and fast way to restore food, water, and vitamins if the bed is nearby). For more balance needs to remove the health penalty for lack or excess of vitamins and just make a nonlethal debuff and vitamins quantity will not changes if you die and respawn on the bed. For vitamins buff, I think nothing to change and all works fine at that moment - If vitamins in balance and you hold it at 30 minutes (A,B,C,D quantity from 31 to 70) you get equilibrium buff like at that moment (+30 fortitude, +20% melee damage, +10% speed and maybe add slow hp regen). If one or all vitamins quantity from 21 to 30 or 71 to 80 you get nothing - no buff or debuff. But if vitamins quantity less then 20 you get A,B,C,D vitamin debuff. Lack or excess of one vitamin low stamina regeneration, two makes blur vision, three rise torpor, four make to loose oxygen and suffocating than. Moreover, for more convenient keeping vitamin C in balance needs to make fruits more valuable (+5 vitamin C) because at that moment berries and fruits is +1C, but others have +5 analog. for example - herbs +1A, vegetables +5A, cooked meat +1B, prime cooked meat +5B, cooked fish +1D, prime cooked fish +5D. Food and Recipes: Need to balance food and vitamins values in already existing recipes and add more recipes with normal ingredients, not like a Berry tea!!! Which crafts with 100 water and 5 berries (+5C) and give you +15 water and +5A!!! (omg where is the logic?! At the same place where the rest of the 85 water and replaced vitamin C I guess). I have one more "great" example is Grog and Rum. In real life, Grog is a Rum with water and spices but in the game, Grog makes from 100 water and 5 sugar. It will be ok if the Rum (100 water, 10 herbs, 5 sugar, 3 chili, and 10 wheat) give more profit then cheap Grog which gives you + melee damage, - damage taken, - food consumption, + hypothermal insulation, and B boost and all this for 30 minutes but Rum gives you the same + melee damage, - damage taken for 7 minutes... So please, dear developers, drow some conclusions and fix recipes and food system and make it more logic, flexible and enjoyable. Good luck with it!

Hello Guys, I have recently become the cook in the corp and i have noticed that the foods don't give the vitamins they show? an good example of this is that the Fish and chips should be giving Orange and blue but for some reason it only gives blue vitamin In the corp we have to eat berries right now because there are no player food that really gives the orange vitamin. What has happened with this? Is it because the indicators on the food wrong? o/ Shepard

Garden plots Recently I am having an issue where my garden plots will not remain fertilised for long enough for my plants to grow out of the seedling phase, even with the 3 shovel buff my seedlings will not grow and the fertiliser runs out while I am logged off overnight, where as it used to last 3/4 days. For some plots the fertiliser is still ok but I have noticed once it runs out once the plot then becomes completely useless and will not work properly anymore. Is anyone else having this issue? Food Currently there appears to be only two /three foods that actually give the double buff. Any foods that say they give the orange vitamin Bubble n Squeak fish n chips Pork Pie (celery soup - untested) and others DO NOT give the orange vitamin they only give 1. Same with alot of the others foods pudding etc It would be really good if these could be fixed as food could be a really fun part of the game if you could grow it properly and if it actually gave you the correct vitamin buffs!
  7. Bug: Some cooked food do not provide vitamin increase in respective areas. Server: NA PVP Colonies Grid: global Have so far tested rosemary chicken and similar level foods and these only give a increase of food in one area. For example rosemary chicken gives only vitamin D and not Vitamin A as its suppose to. Also appears that some buffs may not be working as intended for certain foods but have not yet tested myself only what others have said.
  8. Open the Food Larder and Feeding Trough inventories and they both plainly tell you they're MESS TABLES. My question is, IF the Feeding Trough is actually a Mess Table, will the crew take food from that as well as the official "Mess Table" which is otherwise labeled as a "Food Larder" when you search for it in the Smithy? I mean, Hell's bell's, when is a Mess Table actually a Mess Table and not a Feeding Trough? And why is it a Food Larder elsewhere?
  9. Hello, A couple of my friends and I have been trying hard to RP on the official Na PvE. We have a dock, pub, and town all set up on the norththern part of the north eatern island in D13. Any of you that want to RP we are on usually around 6 pm EST. Hope to see y7ou guys here. We have trading posts up and have food and drinks. We are also trading animals like bears. Come say hi and get some Rp going!!

Alpha Horse able to kill a large bull named (GoNads), 2 chickens (hotSupper & FogHorn), rabbit (Velvet Cake), sheep (Dumb*ss), 2 cows (Vitamin D & Betsy Ross), and destroyed cage that said rabbit and 2 chickens were locked within feed troth also destroyed by Alpha Horse too. Logged on to discover nothing but the messages. I guess I can't sleep for 5 hours in reality. Somehow Alph Horse able to jump up and over already elevated structures and land inside a 3 x 3 walled in area. My 230 hours invested will stay that way for a while. Just need a break.
  11. Crafted Monarch's Cakes and Meat Pies this morning. In your personal inventory, they have a 30-minute spoil timer. In the preserving bag, it states the timer is 18 hours, but they both still spoiled in 30 minutes. The mess table was also not applying its extended spoiler timer. If you watch the timer it is counting down normally, but leave the preserving bag and come back, there will be a big drop in time. Has anyone else noted this bug?
  12. I'm sorry but am I the only one that is really triggered by the fact that coconut or cactus is just food (+vit) ? Could these not be changed so they increase your water level by quite a bit (you know, like coconut does irl)? Mutlitple sources of water really isnt going to hurt the game and it would really help in the low levels. The idea would be to just carry some coconuts/cactus instead of waterskins that leak around whilst farming. That instead of just always run off to find a green patch of land and pray that it isn't depleted. Would be really nice It's just an idea.
  13. Can you raise the rates & lower how quick it is to die please... I die every few seconds because its cold, & there isnt much food around... Its getting a bit old when I am constantly dead because I am cold, or because I am hitting a tree to get wood... this isnt realistic. So please raise the rates, & lower how easy it is to die Please
