Hello dear Atlas Team, Don't you consider blocking the game for regions outside EU or outside NA and opening servers for these regions only? (Russia, Asia, Oceania) Other Games have done this aswell, our world is big and so I can't understand, why you left some regions like Russia, Asia, Oceania out with official servers. They should have a possible option too. EU and NA should not have to deal with languages that use letters unknown to us. Since we can't even see those appropriate in chat and most Russians and Asian can't even communicate in English. Opening servers for each Region, Russia, Asia, Oceania and then make ALL official servers region locked, so only people in those regions are able to see the server as option to join. Simply just block all ip's for countries outside of each intended serverregion. Personally I think, this would reduce some of the servers lag and make it a better playing experience. What do you think? Is there any thought spent to this problem? Sincerely, Xenara

First off this is a first post to your forum. Kudos to the Devs for working these crazy hours and through the holidays releasing the EA for the game. This discussion is with regards to the offline ship sinking that is truly causing people to leave the game. People talk about Region locks fixing this but I disagree with that idea. This will just reduce the game population too much, and I think diversity is good as long as no one is cheating. Below is a proposed fix ***Offline Ship Raiding Fix*** Companies that are 100% offline and ships are Anchored will receive an armor/HP bonus to PVP attacks both Cannon or fire related. HOWEVER....This scales based on company size. For example. A 3 man company that is 100% offline will recieve 100% of the bonus armor/HP. A 20 man company will only recieve a 80% reduction and so on. My thoughts are that large companies should have more diverse players allowing some someone to almost always be online. Take a look at this pole someone started on the subject.....https://strawpoll.com/9w6fshd6 Let me know what you guys think. I hope a Dev or two sees this and seriously adds to whatever plans they are working on for this issue, or considers my fix. **Just so everyone knows...I have 266 hours of game play as of this writing. So Ive seen quite a bit of all sides of the game to make this writing.

this game is full of exploits and EVERY chineese/asain region is abusing it. u can check there live streams and this DSG is BLATANT I have proof as they live stream there raids. you need to be on top of these exploit abusers. the image u are looking at is them putting infinate weight on there resource chest on there boat. this is when they were raiding us and we wanted to know how they got all there ships as they are a 10 man clan compared to our 100 and we cant beat them in farming. and they use aimbot on there livestream website. http://www.huya.com/sineike ALL OF DSG USING EXPLOITS

I would like to preface this by stating some facts that should be abundantly obvious. Not all Chinese players in Atlas are cheaters and not all Chinese players in Atlas are part of the mega tribe (zerg is a term used to describe the kind of mob mentality based mega tribes). For the longest time, I was against the idea of region locking China from Atlas despite my many run-ins with the Chinese zergs in other games. They are people who love games just like us and push the game to its limits. That being said, at this point I can't ignore the blatant exploiting and abuse the zerg and other Chinese factions have been participating in. Nearly every Chinese streamer I've seen has been blatantly duping resources, cheating, or using some other kind of exploit to gain an unfair advantage. Even without these exploits, the zerg itself is very problematic. A single mega tribe that plays at all hours and actively works to destroy smaller clans with overwhelming numbers, force, and organization wouldn't be so problematic if it wasn't so big and destructive. Because of how big it is, even if those in charge of the zerg were opposed to exploiting and cheating (which it seems they aren't) they would find it difficult to enforce those rules on their members. What also doesn't help is that many zerg members make large amounts of money off of streaming these games. This means that many of the zerg can focus entire days on doing nothing but playing Atlas since they are making money off it anyway. There are entire pseudo gaming companies that are run through these zergs and make tons of money off of the streams. A simple solution: make an asia/chinese server and region lock them to it. If they want to cheat/ exploit, let them do it with other cheaters/exploiters. Honestly, it would be more entertaining to watch multiple mega zergs fight each other on stream than it is to watch a single zerg kill small tribes and ruin the game for them. I would like to say that this isn't an Asia/ Chinese specific problem (being Asian american myself), but in my twenty or so years of gaming, I've only ever seen this with the Chinese or Asian countries. Region locking them would spare not only the players of Atlas a lot of greif, but also the Grapeshot staff from being overwhelmed with banning waves and complaints.
