    Needs foundation support

    So, I was trying to fill in the open spots of my upper bow deck on the Galleon, but on all these spots i get the message: "Requires Nearby Foundation Support"
  2. I included two points NA PVP cheat TP F3 -371973 -290036 -3717 cheat TP F3 -391030 -298638 -5749 So you can better see what happening. So at those coordinates i am trying to build a harbor wall (common in this game). But when attempting it i KEPT getting "enemy foundation to near by so i swam for a few hours looking for them ( didnt find even 1). then i noticed in the top right. it didnt say the island as our company owned it (just the yellow name; ie the discovery zone.) i found this BIZZARE. so i swam back till i could build. (then the top right island info came back as being our island the same time i could build. Major bug as that unintended Please help. thank you

  4. Come on Devs. FOR YEARS IN ARK WE ASKED FOR A CHOICE OF GATES, AND YOU WOULDN'T GIVE US THEM. I am sick and tired of having to build structures that are either TOO SMALL or stupidly OVERSIZED, just to fit the gates. Please give us a selection of Gates, or implement the DYNAMIC GATE from the S+ MOD from Ark. Its not difficult and can be implemented quickly. It would also stop so many shit oversized building having to be made. Which in turn will reduce the lag on the servers. WIN WIN WIN. Come on Devs start using some common sense, you've made a great game so far, but implementing Dynamic gates would make total sense. Give the players what they need. Sorry if this sounds aggressive but I love designing good buildings, but can because of the lack of gate choices I am limited to having to build massive ridiculous barns to incorporate the behemoth gate.
  5. Please make available to elevate floors (eg. stone floor) with hotkey, like shift + mouse wheel will change the position the floor at vertically.

    Platforms cant be placed?

    Hi! Atlas platforms really need to be reviewed. I guees these are meant to be placed on cliffs etc. But for some reason it says "Can't place on the floor". On this part of the cliff you cannot stand on it. At all. Had the same problem with other platforms where they couldn't be placed if I looked down at the place I wanted them to be. But if I went to the edge and turned around and lookt at the cliff, I could place it there, in exactly the same place that was not previously allowed. Thanks for taking a look at this becuse it's making it hard to make really cool stuff in Atlas. Best Regards// Havoc

    building Building types

    Does anyone knows, how the building type works? I mean, lets say I have wooden house in the A7 and in the M12. They looks different. Why? Is it effected by the squire place or the type of resources and is it possible to build house in A7 which would look same as on M12, if you know what I mean?

    Plants spawning through Foundations

    Since the release of the PTR and 1.5 mega-update, plants will spawn through foundations. This makes any large buildings practically impossible, since trees will spawn through the building, making it look bad and hard to navigate.
  9. There's already a few threads dealing with the issues of gates being too large, and requiring additional sizes. I think it would benefit the game on the whole to somehow prevent that weird meta that's been around since Ark, of just building base walls with nothing but gates all around. Increasing the price of gates, or perhaps putting a cap on them per claim, or simply having a "too close to similar structure" area of denial around each may help alleviate this issue, and push people to actually make walls out of other building blocks.
  10. Love the game, really do. It's been a roller coaster of a ride so far with a few memorable moments. The combat is very fun and having ship attack a shore base while you are on the shore is a thrilling experience, that's for sure. But enough of that, I need to get this off my chest.... (pun intended) Firstly, White and Red meat... Not animal and fish meat. Guys, there's such a thing. Chickens are white meat, as are fish. Humans, pigs... WHITE MEAT. The rest, red meat. This is a change that needs to be in the game and I cannot believe there's such a thing as 'animal meat' when it's pretty obvious that having white and red would be both more realistic and offer far more variety. Birds would also give white meat. This is a real life thing, it really is! Pork is white meat... I can't stress enough how much this actually bugs me. The crocostimpy cannot be hit by a tame head-on. It simply has no hit box on it's nose, so extending that sarco bounding box a little would be nice Refertilizer: PLEASE make it a thing in this game. Having a new tribe member run out and cut all my trees down around my base was heartbreaking, it really was. I'd love to be able to regrow them and turn my base into the beautiful paradise it once was because it's now this ugly grey box on a hill and I hate looking at it. So much so that I don't even want to log in any more. It's really that ugly and offers me no natural cover at all. The barrels are nice, so is the way they get water and I really love the piping system. I'd really enjoy seeing a Distillery in the game, so as to make a more potent grog and give the game a little more realism when it comes to crafting some items, rather than have a mortar and pestle. In all it's been a fantastic game so far and I really can't say enough about how much I've enjoyed it... RED and WHITE meat guys. Pigs are white meat, so are humans... Chickens are the same as fish in terms of meat.. (snakes too) so this would be a welcome addition and I'm really shocked this isn't in the game, I really am. I don't like the 'steering wheel' either because we all know it's a helm. We don't go calling a joystick a steering wheel for the sake of a few simple minded types, do we? I'd prefer to craft a helm and put that on the bridge... Alas matey, we can't all have it the way we like it but seriously, it needs to be called what it is for the sake of all the pirates out there who call for a bit of immersion. All in all, it's great despite the many masses saying otherwise. Having to go into the water for 'white meat' while chickens cluck around me is the only annoyance I have really.
  11. Since the some updates in PVE metal and gems are no longer spawn on my island. I always keep my buildings away from resources but since some updates everything has stopped. I already destroyed everything close to the resources to test but nothing spawn. I have not made changes in my house for months my neighbors have the same problem. I think this happens mostly with metal and gems but wood, fiber and thatch seem to be working. Note: is a non-Lawless island. Is this happening to anyone else ?

    Improvement List

    Here is my list of improvements after a fair amount of playtime. Please consider the critics. The game have good potentials but you really need to step away from the copy paste all mechanics ARK had. You need to bring more new stuff. Specially how to interact with objects. Your E menu interface is not fun at all. Noticeable when sailing. My list of suggestions: 1. Cold = Death: If you decide to be on cold islands well fortitude won't save you, spent 8 points into it still freezes to death unless near 3 campfire with cloth armor. Also standing in houses require a lot of fire to keep warm. Increase fortitude resistance to elements House give resistance to all elements 2. Acid Rain: Rain comes together with cold fronts, as mention cold was already a huge issue and kills you a lot, being wet makes it even worse. I died in a warm freeport because a cold front with rain came. It is savage. Also spawning in rain 100% wet, 1 nano second in rain 100% wet. Make wetness scale linear instead of 100% wet when outside. The skill tree for resistance to coldness in water should apply to the coldness applied by the wetness bar. If wet you resist the extra coldness a lot better. Right now it is not even noticeable. 3. Building: It was not nice in ARK and since the game is more or less an exact copy it is still a pain. The use of T and Q to bring snap points and so forth barely noticeable and sloped half wall has a right and left config and it is pain in butts to pay attention to when to use the right one. Automate the half sloped walls to fit for left and right. Either make better visual for the use of T and Q instead half opacity white in left bottom corner or bring back old ARK building with blueprints instead of T Loom is huge scale it down! looks like a big shop. Longer time to pick up or always able to pick up. 4. Vitamine: So yes super cool idea but don't really work? I guess you want cooking to be a huge thing although the vitamine destroys it. You eat one source to the rim of overeating and vitamine overeating. The deplition of vitamine is far less than hunger. You get hungry much much quicker and whopsie daysie you are poisoned for eating to much of same vitamine. This can kill you. Remove damage from overeating same source of vitamine Sync vitamine depletion together with hunger depletion Make skill of lesser vitamine depletion to also make hunger deplete lesser. 5. Boats: They are bad, it is so hard to sail them! Anchor is impossible, you need to find that hidden spot with small text, sails well you need to navigate through the worst interface menu of all games to find rotation and sail lower and raise buttons. Instead you could bound them to the actual buttons. After pressing E on sails use W and S to raise and lower sails. Hold E to get Massive interface where you can quick lower or quick raise. Will make it more easier to sail. Afer pressing E use A and D to turn around sail to Left and Right. Will make it much easier. Sloops hole in middle totally useless unless hiding from acid rain. Can't build anything down there or take part of fire warmth. Add visual anchor spot to press E on, If stuck on land have sound effect and increase the turn speed for easier unstuck. When sailing instead of only a small picture of showing wind and sails, add some sort of wind blowing in a certain direction. Make a fancier picture. More animation and sounds during sailing. Like more water splashing against the boat when more rough seas and more bounce up and down on the waves with sounds of boat splashing down after a big wave. 6. Death: So there is a lot of glitches when it comes to death. If you die many times it clips through environment and you cant reach it. Fix the body clipping through building, minerals, boats and ground. Transfer all items button for all inventory management Make the death beam smaller and more centralized. Death beam animation of skull need improvement. 7. Resources: Well it is not that bad but some remarks here. When using sickle you get berries from berry bush and fiber from fiber bush. Why not get fiber from all bushes increase the rate of fiber gathered. Specially in the cold biome from cotton bushes barely noticeable. Increase fiber gain from using Sickle. When you harvest stone as an example you can hit anything near that stone. I got killed by a pack of elephants because I harvested stone on the opposite side of where an elephant stood. Spears also hits everything in its surrounding even behind you. Once again elephants killed me because I tried to kill a chicken! As a last mention please be sure to at least try to optimize things. 100 GB disk space and computers can barely run it. My friend gets black skyboxes and I run below 60 fps with GTX 1060 3GB where I could run ARK with almost 60 FPS with much higher settings in graphics. To me it seems to be the water causing a lot of problems.
  13. I'll throw this up here to see if anyone else has experienced this or perhaps a dev can resolve. The problem I'm experiencing is the message "Can't Place Wood Wall Hook: There are too many structures on this platform!" Here's the problem, I CAN place another wall hook, just not where I want. I am on a Brigantine and in the middle of the boat I get the above error. In the front of the ship, I do NOT get the error and can place a wall hook. I can also place a wood wall hood in the rear of the ship. In the area it tells me I can NOT place a wall hook, the game WILL allow me to place walls, ceilings, boxes, etc. I thought perhaps I had placed too many wall hooks in that area, but after looking, there are 0 in the middle of the ship on any of the 3 decks. The only thing I can think of is that somehow the cannon ports are blocking placement of the wall hooks within an area of effect as it seems the wall hook "dead zone" is between the cannon ports and goes through all 3 decks. Any help on how I can get some light in the middle of the ship would be very helpful.
  14. Well with the last update came a big nerf against stone structures they now cost metal and an organic paste and they take more dmg than before so I want to know is it worth it ?
  15. When you replace Floors of other materials with Stone Floors, the placed stone floor always has the basic rectangle model, no matter what model the replaced floor had. The floors closest to ground usually extend down and have ornaments on them, but if you replaced another material with stone, the resulting block does not have ornaments and sometimes appears hanging in the air on some sides. That is not important for its functionality, but it means those who want to build something pretty have it harder and have to spend more resources on demolishing/replacing floors again, which hurts a lot with recent price increase. That is how you end up with only rectangular buildings everyhere.
  16. Good morning, The recent patch is well disliked throughout the community because of the increased materials required to assemble stone structures, as well as the buffs to stone foundations. Currently the majority of players utilize stone buildings for housing etc. Materials required to assemble stone buildings now cost metal, and organic paste which in itself is not entirely common, and is crafted from two other materials. This all without a boost to stone building properties. Essentially it is nor more economical to spam Wood structures for the recent buffs and expense than it is to build stone structures at no buff with added expense. Essentially we are buying building and name brand prices for value brand quality. It's a sour deal at best. I'd like to suggest that tiers are incorporated rather as well as the requirements are rolled back, boosts to wood structures are fine as smaller groups might be using them as well as their prevalence on PvE realms. I'll list some ideas, and what they could possibly do. Tier 1 - Thatch Tier 2 - Wood Tier 3 - Stone (Revert changes) Tier 4 - Insulated Stone (By all means require Organic paste, provides Heat/Cold protection) Tier 5 - Reinforced Stone (By all means require Metal, provides extra durability) Tier 6 - Metal (Stronger than Reinforced Stone) Tier 7 - Insulated Metal (Heat/Cold Protection, as strong as regular Metal structures) Tier 8 - Reinforced Metal (Stronger than Metal) These options would make more sense overall, as well as potentially add more ingredients to the game rather than re-purpose stone. Lastly more depth would be added to the game which is desperately needed. I ask that these building block changes are reversed, I don't believe this is uproar generated by sudden change that will go away in a hot-minute. This is uproar that will stay, and in my opinion could quite adversely effect the game in a negative light.

    Can't build wood doors

    All the other doors craft fine however I can't craft wood doors.
  23. Dear developers. In my opinion it would be a nice addition to the game to have multiple choices when it comes to hight of the gates. We already have this option for walls so please add this to gates too. Maybe 2 or 3 hight options. because these monsters are just way to big in my opinion. Another nice addition would be a medium gate that fits an elephant but is not as big as the large gates. They are just way to wide and high for my taste but are necessary if you want to fence an elephant. Thanks for reading and I'd appreciate support on this matter.

    Cant build on top of my house

    our company house is built on other companys land. I cant build anything on top, inside or next to my company house. Other company that is also on "rent" built the shipyard shown on picture and its blocking everything suddenly.
