Hello! Im trying to claim an Island who is already claimed (contest for it) BUT it says ''Can't place settlement claim flag: Other nearby Companys PvE Clam Flag has has recent upkeep. (no idea why has x2) How close to the Upkeep can I contest? Thankful for fast answers

So I'm confused on how claiming pve islands works. They're pretty much never claimable unless they're in the polar regions. When my company claimed an island on NA PVE, there was another company that contested our claim.. We eventually left said island because well yetis are mean and a lot of the polar islands are kind of blah. We're living in lawless right now but i'm curious how those people were able to contest our claim? If people have 200k gold in their flag do they just keep that island for weeks even if they don't log in? Is there any way to contest territory in pve?

This should never have been the option at these prices - won't comment on PvP but PvE should have been a bunch more expensive or should have been that price per company to erase or both. A better option would have been a list of structure collections with check boxes - would not have been a very long list - that could be selected for destruction. By structure collection I mean structure with the same components ignoring layout so for example a floor plus a pillar plus a ceiling would be a single entry in the list regardless of what order they were placed / built and how many there were of them. Ideally the list would show how many of each collection there are and the number of pieces in the collection. This would quickly show the spam collections (high count of collections with low component count) vs base buildings (low / single count of collection with high component count). Take this list and assign a price to each collection (low component count = low cost, high component count = high cost, perhaps base it on one component = 1 gold) with a total showing at the top for what it's gonna cost to raze what is selected. Remember the price is for a collection regardless of how many copies of that collection there are - 500 single foundation spams cost 1 gold to cleanup all, not 1 x 500. Typical cleanup would cost less than 100 gold with this scheme and island would be cleaned up without nuking it and without pissing everyone off. If you put a limit on the number of components in a collection, say 10 to 20 for example, this could always be an option for settlement owners - so "that" guy that keeps refreshing his single pillar spam's all over the island can be dealt with forever even if he keeps coming back and doing it again. My guess is they will simply stop doing it in the first place since they will know how easy and cheap it is to cleanup.

I included two points NA PVP cheat TP F3 -371973 -290036 -3717 cheat TP F3 -391030 -298638 -5749 So you can better see what happening. So at those coordinates i am trying to build a harbor wall (common in this game). But when attempting it i KEPT getting "enemy foundation to near by so i swam for a few hours looking for them ( didnt find even 1). then i noticed in the top right. it didnt say the island as our company owned it (just the yellow name; ie the discovery zone.) i found this BIZZARE. so i swam back till i could build. (then the top right island info came back as being our island the same time i could build. Major bug as that unintended Please help. thank you

Has anyone tried before to replace an island with another ? What did i was : 1) edit the json of the grid 2) identify the island id that i want to replace. Each island has a unique id which link the island to its levels 3) using the map editor, remove the island and replace it with the one you wanted. export. then from the json, copy all the information in the id. 4) paste it to the grid json 5) restart server after ensuring 3 portions are copied over ( island, coast and sublevels ) And the server did not start. What i assume went wrong is that the json is different to other grids. I have yet to copied to the others. What i am wondering if pasting it to the home region json is enough, to the surrounding grid or all of the grids. What do you guys think ? Anyone done it before want to guide me along ? Thank you

Another problem is the monopolization of treasures by some companies, an example is that players are creating foundations in places with treasures that make it impossible for people to catch them and destroying all the economy and progress of the game for novice players. Islands with treasures should be impossible to construct.

Hi there ... Unfortunately, we can't find room for a small settlement. We need a spot for a small and a big shipyard and a small hut on the beach. Does anyone have an idea where to get something like this? Gladly with screenshot of the map. We are 3 players. Alternatively are open for clues as to how it might work to get a place. We see a lot of inactive houses and sleeping players claiming whole islands. But our flags always disappear after 1 minute. What are we doing wrong? Where can we settle? Thanks for your help! Ameesa

Hello Serious Dev's of ATLAS, - First point : Time out issue : You really need to fix that, the problem can come from the connection system, from battleye verification, i don't know.. buy it's not normal to see the population of a server decrease on time because no one can reconect to it. - Second point : Your Claim system is not satisfaying for solo players, or, little groups of players, he is really cool for big company but the balance is not existant between those groups. If we judge both sides you have : Big company = Fully playable, ressources unlimited, can do whatever they want. - Little groups / Solo players : Can't claim anythings, no ressources available, can't do nothing.. = unplayable. - Third point : Your algorythm who generate island is not enough worked, i'm sorry to tell you that but the patch is too much visible on each square, each island.. The ressources are too much unbalance dispatched. They are too much spawn point on water, on dangerous groups of animals, they are too much mountain on little island, and groups of animals are too big and agreessive considering the size of un island. I don't forget, it's an Early Access, i just resume what is not good, or good enough to succefully enjoy the game. Because, the idea of Pirates, the gameplay and the mechanic are really good. I know it's the end of the year, so holidays, partys, for everyone.. So, i just hope you gonna listen some players, and i hope you are going in the good direction. Have a great hoilidays, everyone. the game started at 255 ms in all points of respown, some people managed to alir but the vast majority did not and now the islands are full of flags which we can not catch because they have 4000000 beds and teleport, we need a wipe NOW or this game will be without players in less than 1 week, the thing is serious, a group of 20 people can not do anything, less than one and we are only 30, we are more than 300 and part of the lag that gives, we come With galleons simply because they have played 1 day before, they said that creating boats would be difficult, there are already people with huge boats and many cannons, there is also no island or island, boring sea when ghost ships and hidden treasures were promised, where everything is promised ?
