So, I'm new here but have been doing plenty of reading. My questions are pretty straight forward. 1. Level caps. Where do you put this information? In the below thread there i alot of information at the end of page 2 but its missing the details on where to add info. Also there is code information x4 to represent player, dino, tame and ship but I am unsure if it is to be added as is? 2. Player stat per lvl multipliers. This link was a tad helpful but I don't know where the shootergame file is? https://wiki.nitrado.net/en/Advanced_Settings_for_Atlas(Xbox)_Through_Json#Example_Codes 3. Finally here we are almost June. Has anyone made any headway dissecting where the ship stat per lvl file can be edited? And how? Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

why is this max lvl 44 with 124% Ship Quality ?? so 100% = lvl 40 and 124% actually lvl 49.

As much as I enjoy playing this game bugs and all, which so far we have found a work around for, even the 255 ping bug but today we ran into a bug where our beds and ships were removed from our company over night while no one was on my server (only two of us play on it). I googled the issue seems it’s been around for a couple of years. We did a rollback on the server to fix it, but now we are not sure if it’s even worth continuing as it’s pointless having to rollback all the time, too much progress gets lost. how this game breaking bug has not been fixed is beyond me unless someone has a know solution for this bug I think it’s the end of the road!

Ok, so I'm not really new to building on a ship....however, on my latest ship, I'm trying to place wall hooks (to place lanterns on). When I try, it tells me that I can't place structures on this platform. It doesn't say I've reached the structure limit. I can place the wall hook on other parts of the ship (first and last ship mast), but not where I want to place them. Anyone else encounter this? Any advice to be able to place the hooks, since I haven't reached the ship's structure limit? For reference I'm talking about a galleon.

The goal is to move players more at sea. I think that's more PvE accounts, like the octopus that draws players at sea. I imagine Moby Dick. Or Loch Ness. Or Megalodon. Everything like octopus with subsequent loot or acquiring an ability.

I played this game for a smallish amount of time and waiting for the rework before playing again. But from what I've seen with the galleon, there was a few blaring problems. The first is a lack of stern chase gun ports, but that's for a different day. The biggest problem I see is the sails. The sails have a combination of two things that dont make the galleon pretty to look at. The height of the sails, and how many there are. 6 large sails on a ship like this, that dont have certain proportions in mast height vs hull height, it simply makes the galleon ugly. But what would change that? Even if the max limit was changed to be 3 or 4 sails, the proportion of ththe mast vs hull still makes it ugly... That is why I'm thinking there should be a new tier of sails. With the ships in the game, I've noticed that small sails are for sloops, medium sails for schooners, and large sails for brigantines. But large sails are also meant to be on galleons too, despite not looking like they're the right size. So, why not add a new tier of sails that corrects this issue? https://imgur.com/imCg9Ny https://imgur.com/5sv23wp These larger sails look much prettier than 6 smaller sails, right? If you look at these, our current large sail is the height of the rear most mast, whole the others are much higher and wider visibly. So this is what I'm proposing. With colossal sails, make them have x2.5 higher functionality (speed, handling, weight, ext) than large sails. That would negate the 6 large sail on galleon problem, to where you would want 2 colossal sails on a galleon and one large sail, but no functional difference between 2 colossal + 1 large sails and 6 large sails. Might even be better since these sails would be cheaper to make, and significantly less weight on the ship. Not to mention, look a lot better. What do you guys think of this proposal? (Edit: it wont let me post the image url, and imgur links dont work. How do I upload images properly?)

So, I was trying to fill in the open spots of my upper bow deck on the Galleon, but on all these spots i get the message: "Requires Nearby Foundation Support"

basically the title, ship rename tokens should provide a respec. rebalance the cost or what have you but this is clearly a missing component to the gameplay. thank you for your time in reading this suggestion.

After taking all kinds of animals with us on a trip around the map to make tons of gold, we encountered several problems with animals on ships. 1. Animals jumping around. Everything bigger than a Tier 1 animal started jumping up and down on the spot they were standing after some time on sea. This didnt change our game expirience on this trip but at a certain amount of animals being on the ship this can cause some problems. 2. Animals dropping a floor up or down on anchoring. This was annoying but didnt cause any greater problems since we could still drag them out of the ship with follow and place them back on top of the ship. 3. Animals starting to fly after anchoring. I dont realy know how and why but our elephant decided to head skywards with a number of small jumps. Dont know if he would come back down on his own but we stopped his trip by whistleling him and he fel down. 4. Animals disappearing. We werent keeping an eye on every animal all the time so on some point a horse got lost. Dont know how and why but it simply happened. 5. Animals losing their passive setting after server crash. Server crashes somehow cause animals to switch to neutral in some situations and its not funny when your elephant decides to meele the ghost ship midfight. My suggestion for these problem would be some kind of animal boxes according to the tier of the animal. The animals can be locked to the pens like npc crewmates can be locked onto a cannon or chair. Also with the same option over the actionwheel. For tier 1 animals i would suggest a small box. In these boxes chicken would still lay eggs and you can pick them up and any shoulder animal can be taken out of it and placed on your shoulder with an actionwheel option. These boxes can be placed anywhere on the ship since you can also carry these animal For tier 2 animals i would suggest animal pens. Something like horseboxes in stables in real life. Any resource animal can still be accesed by standing in front of the box to gather its ressources. I would lock these boxes to places cannons lock into when gunports are present to cause somepoint of decission between transporting animals and having fighting power (i know people build 3 story cannon towers on top of the ship and dont need gunports anymore but i dont like free placement of the animalboxes in this case.). They can also placed on top of the ship but will be easily destroyed there by ghost ship in pve and other players in pvp. For tier 3 animals i would suggest some kind of pole they get "chained" to. These poles take up like 2x2 space in foundations. These poles can only be placed on top of the ship because the animals are simply to big to be under deck and are kind of durable to substain ghostships, other ships and the "strength" of the animal roleplaywise, maybe costing alloy to justify the sturdiness. I hope you like my suggestion and give your feedback to my ideas.

My friend and me just made a ship yesterday and anchored it in a freeport at night. When i woke up i got the message that my schooner was sunk. I can still see it on the water (half underwater) and can see that no planks were broken... Are we not supposed to park overnight in freeports anymore? I saw plenty of other schooners and brigs parked closeby...

Not sure if this is by design or not. If it is, it is beyond stupid. I placed a ship resources box and placed 982 gold in it. I didn't like the placement so I picked it up before the timer expired. I had thought the gold would be in a bag on the floor where I picked the box up. It was not. So, I had hoped it was like a water barrel and would be inside the box when I put it down again. It was not. The gold is just gone. I do not belong to a large company. We do not own an island. We play lawless. 982 gold represented a lot of farming for me. This is a broken mechanic and needs to be hotfixed. I will chalk my loss up to a learning experience, but it should not ever happen. There was in no way anywhere that I can find where this has ever been broadcasted as an issue. So, here it is. DO NOT EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PICK UP A SHIP RESOURCES BOX WITH GOLD STILL IN IT!!

So for some reason, you can destroy your ship in the shipyard with only 1 click of E It didn't even give me a chance to cancel it. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/511921877040627722/650336140938969108/unknown.png https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kh4_x5vpl1c&feature=youtu.be It would be very nice if you guys could make that you need to hold E and then choose to destroy your ship and have a timer of maybe 5 seconds and then you can destroy it. Anyone figure out how to override ship levels so they can be leveled up beyond 41 on unofficial servers?

Yesterday I drove with my ship (a schooner) to the freeport in L12. Today I logged in and it was completly destroyed. I was offline for around 8hours. Can a brand new ship decay within this short amount of time or is there another way my ship could have been sunk? I also noticed some bug reports here that say that ships can be randomly detroyed threw a bug. Thank you for your support!

A great addition for PVE players especially would be adding a transport ship for animals kinda like "Noah's Ark" so that when we dock our ship or lower the anchor if it's close to land a ramp would drop out from optional doors on the side of the ship to bring animals in and out or a ramp from top deck for larger animals like giraffes and elephants. Another feature to add to this that ark had the right idea with would be ships in a bottle a way to "cryo" a ship so if your on pvp offline raiding is a massive thing happening. This would be a way to store your ship so it doesnt get destroyed while your offline. But instead running the possibility of it being stolen.

Hello, I was thinking since we have a multitude of ingots that can be made with the forge what if we had a "Top Tier" ship like an Ironclad? I know the Galleon is a top tier ship and is very large but to make more use of these ingots and move into more of an "industrial era" type warship that can utilize steam or coal engines and still utilize the NPC crew for sails, loading coal/water for engines, as well as cannons would be awesome. We would still be able to put the submarine and all other side attachments on due to it's large size like a galleon. Also, having a "metal" tier of building parts would allow for better base defense, bigger raids, more difficult ship battles, and better use of ingots. I know that's a pretty far fetched idea but I thought I would just throw it out there. Thanks for your time, JVGaming Here's an example of an old Ironclad... ,

Please give us a command to unseat all the crew with one whistle and then seat them back to same seat as they were. It's really cumbersome and boring to run from each crewmember to another to unseat them from cannons and back, especially on galleon with 58 or more crew on board.

On actual sailing ships, the rigging is climbable. This would also save weight on the ships. Thanks for listening.

♥ For 1453 hours, I have played this game in PvP. As we know, this game is a pirate game but after a new patch, again and again, It seems to me that devs tend to focus on updating new content mainly in new tamed and environment instead of ship updating. I would like to discuss about the new contents that I want to see. Let's talk about design first. I would like to see the developers introduce new various ships to fulfil different purposes for players like Caravel for discovery, Indiaman for cargo, Privateer, Frigate, Ship of the line for battle and adding more sails as well. The ship's sails and ship appearance in this game are really annoying to me. Look at Brigantine for example. Most players often attach three speed sails on it and make the ship looks like the kind of weird. There's should have had sails like Spirit sail at the ship's bow and Spraker sail at the stern that can increase ship speed as the rest too. Not to mention the captain's cabin at the stern that is empty, no windows and no big company's flag. Next, we should be able to board the enemy ship and capture it in a short amount of time like 10 minutes when a ship is unanchored but we have to wait more than 8 hours to claim which is really suck. And some good news from the last patch, there's spear bolt which can pull enemy ship but a ship can still fire to each other. If a ship can't fire when spear bolt pulling it, that's mean the boading enemy ship will be easier and it's possible to capture it. And the last point is NPCs that can't do anything more than a mindless robot. It made the game lifeless. This game should categorize NPCs to many occupations such as crew NPCs for mounting canon and controlling sails, pirate NPCs that can board the enemy ship, etc. Moreover, at the Freeport there should be NPCs roaming around like a real port city and some of them can ask players for doing quests. And it is going to be better if there're NPCs cargo ship sailing across between different Freeport or even NPCs pratol ship that can be plundered by players to get foreign materials. But for now, we have to bear with a boring long haul journey to get materials for the blueprint. I hope that this game can be better when it comes out from early access ♥ PS: Don't mind my English skill xD

I think a Ship which is anchored should also count like Land for the Cargo saddle with the 0.33 weight scale cause it whould make unloading a ship way more comfortabe then just throwing stuff over board then pick them up again and put them in the storage of the cargo saddle. Always having problems cause my Tames have to wait on Land to get filled up with all the stuff i collected else they are overweight on the ship even it is anchored and i just want to move them down from my ships
