  1. Have you ever just been launched out the back of a boat? Running walking up a ramp and just Fly off like launched out of a cannon? Ended up in the water saying "WTF WAS THAT!?" as you watch the ship skirt off in the distance as the sharks come to say "hi!"? Well it may be do to your wall placements! yep MOTHER&^#%[email protected]* WALLS! i have tested and reproduced this ANNOYING GLITCH at least 20 times successfully its sloped walls. Even if it BELOW the deck and you run, walk, attack, or even do a feat (power punch) in the right (or is it wrong?) spot and the ship is moving, you go FLYING (actually it seems you clip for a moment and the ship passes THOUGH you, or you though the ship (while you are immobile for a split second mid air). you do not even need to be EXACTLY on top or the edge. you can be within a tile of it and it can still happen. We had 1 boat with about 40 sloped walls and walking around from the front to back was a for sure way to get punted off (although if you were at the front you would normally stop clipping right at he back (some times the ones in the back would then hit a second later adding a nice daisy chain effect. place some triangle ceilings all over and place the slopped roofs even MORE and now you have a way for people who board you to get launched off with out even the need for puckles/swivel's (although all the ceilings and walls way 50X more) so those ramps launching you? (looked for a slopped wall near by) deck running bouncing you around? look for a slopped wall below your deck. ENJOY the bouncing fun! this bug also applies to tames. EDIT: Sorry ill add how this can be exploitable, (so they fix it faster) You sail in-front of a enemy boat grab 20-30 grenades keep the boat STRAIGHT have the enemy boat straight behind you and close (with in a boats length or two) run up and down the edge of a sloped roof facing our the back (ie the high point of the wall is facing the back of the boat) it may take a few trys, keep trying odd angles you will fly through your boat and end up on there lower deck (you seem to fall when you clip though your boat (guess the deck has a anti clipping code?))
  2. So over the last few weeks a slight annoyance has turned into a HUGE issue for our company, we have lost about 10 Tamed bears in the last week due to transfer from water or land to a boat. On one occasion i was looking up enough and saw said BEAR Fly away into the air... now some people said they are falling to the bottom and drowning.. they are not, company log shows they were "KILLED" not drowned this is the same message for fall damage death give. I would say this happens around 5% to 10% of the time I don't know maybe have a tag area for when you transfer a animal to the boat so we can SAY this spot in the middle of the deck is where we want animals to transfer on. This would also prevent them transferring between the ship panel and a built on cabin or raised deck (which happens daily).

    Improvement List

    Here is my list of improvements after a fair amount of playtime. Please consider the critics. The game have good potentials but you really need to step away from the copy paste all mechanics ARK had. You need to bring more new stuff. Specially how to interact with objects. Your E menu interface is not fun at all. Noticeable when sailing. My list of suggestions: 1. Cold = Death: If you decide to be on cold islands well fortitude won't save you, spent 8 points into it still freezes to death unless near 3 campfire with cloth armor. Also standing in houses require a lot of fire to keep warm. Increase fortitude resistance to elements House give resistance to all elements 2. Acid Rain: Rain comes together with cold fronts, as mention cold was already a huge issue and kills you a lot, being wet makes it even worse. I died in a warm freeport because a cold front with rain came. It is savage. Also spawning in rain 100% wet, 1 nano second in rain 100% wet. Make wetness scale linear instead of 100% wet when outside. The skill tree for resistance to coldness in water should apply to the coldness applied by the wetness bar. If wet you resist the extra coldness a lot better. Right now it is not even noticeable. 3. Building: It was not nice in ARK and since the game is more or less an exact copy it is still a pain. The use of T and Q to bring snap points and so forth barely noticeable and sloped half wall has a right and left config and it is pain in butts to pay attention to when to use the right one. Automate the half sloped walls to fit for left and right. Either make better visual for the use of T and Q instead half opacity white in left bottom corner or bring back old ARK building with blueprints instead of T Loom is huge scale it down! looks like a big shop. Longer time to pick up or always able to pick up. 4. Vitamine: So yes super cool idea but don't really work? I guess you want cooking to be a huge thing although the vitamine destroys it. You eat one source to the rim of overeating and vitamine overeating. The deplition of vitamine is far less than hunger. You get hungry much much quicker and whopsie daysie you are poisoned for eating to much of same vitamine. This can kill you. Remove damage from overeating same source of vitamine Sync vitamine depletion together with hunger depletion Make skill of lesser vitamine depletion to also make hunger deplete lesser. 5. Boats: They are bad, it is so hard to sail them! Anchor is impossible, you need to find that hidden spot with small text, sails well you need to navigate through the worst interface menu of all games to find rotation and sail lower and raise buttons. Instead you could bound them to the actual buttons. After pressing E on sails use W and S to raise and lower sails. Hold E to get Massive interface where you can quick lower or quick raise. Will make it more easier to sail. Afer pressing E use A and D to turn around sail to Left and Right. Will make it much easier. Sloops hole in middle totally useless unless hiding from acid rain. Can't build anything down there or take part of fire warmth. Add visual anchor spot to press E on, If stuck on land have sound effect and increase the turn speed for easier unstuck. When sailing instead of only a small picture of showing wind and sails, add some sort of wind blowing in a certain direction. Make a fancier picture. More animation and sounds during sailing. Like more water splashing against the boat when more rough seas and more bounce up and down on the waves with sounds of boat splashing down after a big wave. 6. Death: So there is a lot of glitches when it comes to death. If you die many times it clips through environment and you cant reach it. Fix the body clipping through building, minerals, boats and ground. Transfer all items button for all inventory management Make the death beam smaller and more centralized. Death beam animation of skull need improvement. 7. Resources: Well it is not that bad but some remarks here. When using sickle you get berries from berry bush and fiber from fiber bush. Why not get fiber from all bushes increase the rate of fiber gathered. Specially in the cold biome from cotton bushes barely noticeable. Increase fiber gain from using Sickle. When you harvest stone as an example you can hit anything near that stone. I got killed by a pack of elephants because I harvested stone on the opposite side of where an elephant stood. Spears also hits everything in its surrounding even behind you. Once again elephants killed me because I tried to kill a chicken! As a last mention please be sure to at least try to optimize things. 100 GB disk space and computers can barely run it. My friend gets black skyboxes and I run below 60 fps with GTX 1060 3GB where I could run ARK with almost 60 FPS with much higher settings in graphics. To me it seems to be the water causing a lot of problems.

  5. A company member just released my Schooner without a name. Its seems now i'm stuck with a Schooner named "Schooner"... Its like being a woman named "Woman". I'm the owner of the company... I should AT LEAST be able to rename my own ships. Not the one claimed/stolen. (i understand the many reason why), but the ship i built its mine, like my elephants, parrots, etc Please, fix this.
  6. currently i have a raft visiting a nearby island but the dang thing git stuck facing a rock. I'm unsure if this is an issue with other boat types. Could we possibly get an option to drag the boat away from the shore? similar to drag body but much slower where our char swims, clinging to the raft, slowly bringing it out to sea. (company members only to prevent griefing of course) If this is a common issue with bigger boats, o e could make it based on weight in such that multiple people needed to pull larger boats and/or empty the boat chests to get it to move. if gripping the boat directly would be unwanted to keep (hold e) menus clean, maybe make a rope to tow boats craftable. another option to fix would be to make boats slowly drift to face the direction the steering wheel is facing without sails open. This doesnt make much sense imo but it might be easier to implement. It would be amazing if it would do this anchored too so we could set the boat to turn around while we explore an island. then the boat is facing outward when we leave. Thanks for reading. I just really want to get my raft off the island.
  7. Hey So if you spawn on Schooner or any other ship and if the ship is moving then its a game of a chance if you spawn on the ship, stuck under some floor or in water. That realy is annoying and i hope there is a easy fix for it! Thank you!

    Schooner destroyed/decayed twice.

    On Tuesday 12/25/2018, we had our schooner sitting in the ocean while we logged off. We get back on and it was apparently destroyed by a ship of the dammed. Was this intended for Ships of the dammed to aggro offline ships? In addition, last night we built another schooner and pulled it near an island. After we logged off and came to check on it in the morning it was destroyed as well. No logs, no nothing. Someone mentioned decay timers were 8 hours????? If this is intended, it definitely needs to be increased to at least 12-24. People do need to sleep and even increase the timer depending on the size of the ship. Ex. Raft 8 hours, a sloop 12, schooner 16 etc etc

    boat STUCK need quick help

    i take a screenshot but i cant play because my boat stuck on a rock for no reason, idk what to do because i have everything in my boat
