  1. Assigning crew to specific locations in my ship and base are absolutely irritating. it is very time consuming, and require a lot of fiddling and teleporting to chairs, or using the grappling hook to try and get them up spiral staircases so they are close to something in the middle of a tower column etc. This system is not thought out, its very crude, and feels as though its not implemented. Add a system whereby I can instead of looking at a person, and telling them to crew an object, allow me to look at an object and grab the nearest available (not assigned) crew on my island. Alternatively and more complex, make it so I can whistle or assign all new crew to a crew pool when in vicinity of the player, out on sea, or add them to a pool that is bound to the island. When on the island, simply looking at an object and whistling at it will put a crew member on it. It can be a damage locked feature, so that if something has taken damage on a ship for instance, it cannot be repaired like the current system and in addition is not able to have a new crew-member assigned to it, if it was unmanned. similar to how cannons have a cool-down on land when placed to prevent "cheesing".
  2. Me and a buddy are build-nerds. We like to build, cool stuff, which should be a cinch and granted easier than ARK especially with the way better snapping system. however we have had a consistent and frustrating need for 2 different types of building pieces. 1. Add a door called Medium Plus or something, that is 3 tiles wide, because being forced to use a SHIP SIZE DOOR is ridiculous for elephants. Or adjust their collision sphere/box whatever your using. 2. It would be really handy to have a right-angle triangle/half-square ceiling piece/foundation version. We have right-angle triangles for walls, so it makes sense. it has consistently been an issue for us when trying to plug holes in more complicated geometry builds, that we could have had it perfect with just that one piece added to our building repertoire. After these, the other suggestions aren't particularly critical for me, just really nice to have. 3. the L-stairs need a variant which is straight, diagonal and as tall as a regular roof->stairs/ramp piece but still only as wide as the L-stairs(1/4ish of a block) It helps saves space on ships, and makes some more of our base builds look better. 4. Like above but also a half-block height variant like how the roof->half stairs are only half a block in height. think about it as a QOL improvement that you guys keep talking about wanting to add in phase 1.
  3. I had marked out a spot on my island which has a sizeable bay and we moved to the island weeks ago. I found a place where I wanted to build a nice star fort in the water, we even checked if we could build there( and we could). Only one other person owns the island, and they gave us build permissions so we could build in the middle of the water (which we didn't need because we could still place things anyway, but it never hurts to be careful.) After setting up our initial base it was time to start building the star fort. but guess what? all of a sudden we can't build underwater anymore. the moment we touch the water with any building piece, it gives us the error: "enemy foundation too close" etc. But we double and triple checked the area, there is nothing. We even built stuff around the place we picked out, but inside that circle its a no go. we had issues on other parts of the island with nothing in the water either, and had to build around those too. But the water here isn't even as deep as the other places. checking the forums I saw people had this issue many months ago but supposedly got resolved. However, I am now having this problem. Me and my 5 friends have spent hours combing that area, there is nothing. Is this a known issue, and are you adressing it?
