I'd suggest more plank models / options, as we allready have with walls and ceilings o.O I mean, who havent had the thought, that rear-facing gunports is a very viable option for a galleon / brig ? Not to mention, the aft top part of the hull on brigs and galleons, makes it pretty darn hard to reach the emergency ladder :S ... (side-mounted ropeladders on brigs tend to bug and only let you get half way up...) As for the floating tanks.... no way in hell id ever be onboard such a monster :S yuk

If you using a hosting company not sure, where you can find the console, going to have to ask them. you cant try checking the log for that grid, but not 100% sure about that.

Current copy paste of the stats 11,977 playing an hour ago 21,748 24-hour peak 58,788 all-time peak Now don't try to tell me unofficial isn't counted cuz this just counts whoever has the Atlas app running in their Steam client, and as far as I know Atlas is only available on Steam and u need to run it through Steam to connect to an unnoficial server as well. Here is the Steam stats from their in Steam stats page, it gives them a couple thousand extra players but still it's a horrible statistic.   4. Agreed Agreed, but they went overboard with monster nerfs, much like they went overboard with fire arrow nerfs. Feels like they were just like “fuck it” and nerfed them to shit so they wouldnt need to react to carebears crying about how “broken” the content it
  5. First of all - I'm NOT ASKING FOR HELP WITH IT. I play with just my brother and we resigned to the fact that those POWER STONES are not available to us. At least not the straight way (we actually don't know if we do really need them). Today I went to golden age ruins at G3. I left all my crafted stuff and ships at base. Just took tiny sloop with swivel and 200 ammo and basic bow with 1000 arrows. My goal was just to look around, maybe lure to the ship and shot some monsters. I thought maybe I'll be able to climb to the ruins roof and kill one epic monster with my bow... (I didn't make it). I spent couple of hours there. And here what I noticed. There are tons of monsters 60lvl and higher. There are huge mystical creatures with huge aggro radius. And far from your ship - you just "dead man walking". Unless you find a safe spot. Every animal will kill you in 3 sec. Every mythical creature basically oneshot you. Your weapon and armor doesn't matter (I've tried to shot fire elemental and each my arrow did 3 damage. I have a "blue" bow in my base which is 130% damage so that would be a 4) So... I just wonder. What it would looks like if I play in big group and we go there together? I mean. There is no "tank" role in this game right? There is no such a guy who would gather and hold dangerous creatures. There is no healer role to heal "tank" also. So even with a big party - there only one fireball needed to make half of this party do naked run from ships bed. Is this how DEV guys saw it? Army of naked people running from the ship to their corpses again and again? Naked people lure big monsters to the ship to slain them whit heavy firearms? Or it's just a game where alot of guys try to stuck monsters in textures and shot them from far away? I mean - I just don't get it. How the big group suppose to handle all crazy stuff happening in golden age ruins? My journey ended with... well I'll call it EA stuff : ) First - 3 fire elemental just stuck around my corpse. I couldn't lure them out (they just stuck and twitching into the mountains) so I lost my bow and 900 arrows. Then, before I scuttle my sloop I noticed a dragon over a sea. I sailed to him and then... I shoot all my 170 swivel ammo at him. He just staying there and did nothing. There were 4% of health left (I was out of ammo). I went ashore to craft another bow and arrows. I went back. I shoot like 40 arrows at him. He relocate himself after each hit. And then. When he was like 1-2% of health he just despawned : ))
  6. Are you retarded with this concept ? When you reach 90 years, you have no tip on where is the fountain, you need to run on thoses damn islands full of unkillable creeps (during 2 hours per island not counting the travel) to reach a pedestal full of lvl 234 bats and...no luck the fountain isn't here...try the next island... just rub this buff and this age concept if you dunno how to deal with it. And don't tell me there is any skill in this, cause no one is killing any monster there, just running and praying for a good framerate.

  8. When we stream to YouTube and Twitch, we use always OBS. I'm getting a decent enough 22-30 fps with no lag on epic settings. I only have a Geforce 970. It doesn't take a monster card to run the game well enough and stream it My sons runs his at 30 fps with the settings set to high, not epic with his Radeon 560.
  9. yah last night i lost 100 dicovery points.. discovered like 20+ islands and like 5-6 hours of sailing.. killed Monster sperm whale max lvl 58. logged out .when i logged back in boom. back to max lvl 54 and 91 discoveries....
  10. I was going to post this too. We are not taming freaking Brontos from ARK. The 8 wide, 12 high large gates are STUPID to have just because an elephant or a rhino are too wide to fit through the 2 wide, 4 high normal gate. Give us at least a damn middle ground. The TALLEST/WIDEST Creatures that are tamable (giraffe/razertooth) are just SIX WALLS TALL and fit through a THREE WIDE GAP. So all we need is a 3x6 gate! It's just so stupid that we need this HUGE FREAKING MONSTER of a gate just to fit through a rhino that is small enough height wise to fit through the normal gate, but is just a nudge to wide at the hips to fit the 2 foundation wide gap.
  11. I've been trying to get the FoY since it was a patch, as has one of my company mates. I have work and real life responsibilities to deal with, I can only play for 3 hours a night at the very most (aside from weekends). Not only is it stupidly hard to find out what tile the FoY is in, it takes forever to get there unless it's one of the few locations where it's right next to a freeport. And then, you just keep rushing and hope to get lucky and not get blocked by a random giant monster, or have them spawn up under you, or whatever. It's pissing me right off. It's almost impossible to get now that the initial wave of players has been reset. Not to mention, I'm on NA PVP, and if you look at the thread where players have been getting their accounts deleted accidentally, it's most often on NA PVP, in a golden age zone, going for the FoY. So every time I don't spawn in right I get to wait and see if I still have a char at all. It's such a terrible mechanic. At least until the family system is in, it should not be THIS hard to reset your character's age.
  12. Professional QA suggestions that would improve PVE servers and possibly PVP. (I do not play on PVP so I do not have experience.) While writing this I realized there are a lot of systems woven together that have a direct cause and effect relationship to other issues. I. Server Performance 1. High Structure Count. Reduce the need for structures by creating new objects in game that provide functionality previously covered by creating high structure count buildings. a) Create Stables for tamed animals to protect and offer storage. This solution is a two birds one stone solution reducing structure count and tame rendering. b) Create Bunk house or Crew Beds that can house AI crew that are not being used. c) Reinforced Stone Foundations would offer a lot of protection without the need to “Honeycomb” stone walls 2. Ship Clutter. This is a harder topic to balance, but the ramshackle sloop availability combined with the Fountain of youth quest has become a nightmare on Golden Age Islands. a) Ramshackle sloops should have a duration in real time for how long they can be used. b) Ships in a bottle would be an excellent Method to store and trade unused ships. In order to balance this you would need to put a cool down on how often a ship can be added to a bottle and removed. Ex…. In order to bottle a ship the following needs to be met. Storage containers empty, Planks must be fully repaired, capable of being launched from docks, HAS NOT been bottled within 24 hours, and Ship has NOT been damaged within 30 minutes. Once bottled the bottle would contain the following information: Planks used and their quality, Sails used and their quality, Cannons ect, and Number of connected structures (walls boxes work benches everything else) LOTS to talk about on this. 3. Taming Cages. Islands with Bears and other sought after animals are covered with Locked Taming Cages. a) Add a taming cage/trap much like the one created in Piracy tree. The taming cage would function exactly like player made taming structures. A cage can be crafted in small/medium/Large. A medium Cage has a resource cost of Metal (200), Wood (200), Thatch (200), Fiber (200) Weight (100). Cage has a durability (1,000) and a duration (1h) Cages can be placed anywhere and the Land Owner has the ability to destroy them. Lure a monster into the cage, Bolas would no longer be needed and the animal can now be fed through the cage. II. Player Age & Levels 1. Fountain of Youth. This is a great idea but the implementation is poor. a) Reset all player ages to 0 before adding any mechanics relative to age. b) The fountain of youth should be a very personal quest for players. The quest can be started when any player is over the age of 50 from a NPC in freeports or from bottled maps. They would get a map that would take the player to a location 2-3 Regions from the player’s current location. c) Refine the game progression between levels and discoveries. Break the game up into several parts for experience. Land Lovers Levels 1-40 can be obtained just by exploring your region. 40-60 Is your True Sailor range people that have explored several Regions and seen some action and adventure. The last FEW levels should be Unique 60-70. Each level 60+ can be obtained from milestones. Defeating a Whale, Sinking a High level ship of the damned. Digging up a Purple Quality Map. Right now you hit level 51 and everything over that can be obtained by Ramshackle sloop exploring. If you see someone OVER level cap you could ask them what heroic deeds they have accomplished. III. Quests & Content 1. Quests can expand on the Treasure map system. Not the maps alone but the Region/Islands System . a) Refine the Map/Distance Tier system. Messages in a bottle can be the main Quest Delivery system for players. A bottle can contain Treasure maps, Trade missions where an NPC is waiting for a player to bring him goods/supplies, or even some type of RARE Tame mission that contains a special animal like a rainbow colored Tiger. b) Reduce the distance to quality ratio for missions. Common maps should be 0-1 Regions away, Green 1-3 Regions away, Blue 2-6 Regions away, Purple 4-7 Regions away, ect c) Make Maps take longer to spoil or perform a wealth/rarity crunch on maps. Make Treasure maps less common but provide more rewards d) REDUCE THE WEIGHT OF GOLD! 2. More content is always nice. There are a few Easy wins that would make players very happy. a) Schools of Fish out in the open water identified by a darker shade in the ocean. Players could throw nets or fish to catch b) A Dinghy with random level crew on it stranded at sea who will join for free but still require hourly pay c) Reduce the spawn rate of Alphas, they should be a rare occurrence d) More Soldiers of the damned types (Spears, Guns, Skeleton animals) e) Remove floating wreckage after % of the ship has been looted. Getting to a sunk Wreck is a pain, and if it isn’t a pain to get to there is a very high chance that it is just a frame sitting down there. IV. Claim System 1. Let’s be honest EVERY one knows the claim system is a bust on PVE. I get it the developers want people to pay each other taxes and live on some ones land. NO ONE ELSE WANTS THIS. a) 1 Claim flag per Player. Companies can still carve out a decent chunk of land b) Reduce the maximum tax rate on claims from 30% down to 10%. There is no reason treasure hunters who travel 11 regions away for a 2,000 gold map should have to split 600 with the owner. c) Allow for public use of Shipyards so it is possible to set up a player run Freeport.
  13. This is the worst decision I have seen yet by this dev team and it proves they have no clue where resources are or how things go together. You added METAL AND SAPS TO ONE STONE FLOOR? There are literally entire regions with no sap on them, while other island lay full of it. How the hell are people going to build, and how can one entire region have an advantage over defenses? I am on an island with no tin rocks and no saps. I understand making it easier to raid bases but what in the hell people. You literally just killed so much of your playable area? Who in their right mind would play any area without sap now, to build a block you gotta go 3 grids away, and pay 30% tax for a stone block? It's insanity. I'm done, the game is unplayable in my area and many many others. Organic paste and metal are resources for assaulting before this change, rock, fiber, and thatch was for defending. It was perfect the way it was. You want people to get off the base building and get out into sea, but why the hell would i sail around the world to gather things to put in a thatch base that a damn flame arrow can bring down. Its a horrendous change for the game as a whole. Adding this: I am on an island with no sap and no pure metal rocks, no sap within 3 or 4 regions. I played where I am because that is where I decided to stay. Noone wants to be there. I'm the only freaking person living on this dump of an island. But one thing it had.....mats for stone blocks. You may be short on other resources, but damnit I got a monster base, and I'm about to go out and start stocking up mats that are for assaulting. The island im on will not be played on if you keep this change. ITS AN ENTIRE ISLAND that will be empty post change. Every single island in the game should have the resources on them for stone buildings. So I suggest you dump sap and metal rocks on every single island like you dumped fiber on the people who wanted to live in the Artic. It is without a doubt an unfair advantage and will create less playable land. Literally logging out. Won't be back till something changes

    Whales are not supposed to be that fast than the ship at and do that damage. Whales should be passive mobs not aggressive. I think Game Designer is drinking too much and doesn't really know how to balance a game. It is big disappointed that they don't really have a clue how to balance a game and player have to say feedback. Where is Freeport in C14. When I tried to get out from C14 and move to B14 my raft get sunk because of Sotd ships. It is about 20 Sotd ships in B14 and 5 whales were on the way. Next, my raft was close to shore. When I logged raft was sinked by whales. I don't know where they got an idea that whales attack ships. Make fucking sea monster or something mythical creature so I would agree. But whales - is the stupid idea they ever come up in this game. When I watch live twitch stream I just realise what they really have lack of knowledge to polish a game. You can add as much content you can but if your game is unbalanced who is going to play this? Only Hackers !!!!
  16. ARK was a great concept and a good game for the first year and a bit but then the devs basically let things get out of control with regards to mega tribes, breeding and flyers. It stripped the game of its fun in PVP when you had tribes with sometimes hundreds of players in them allied with other large tribes with hundreds of players in them dominating servers. There was no competition anymore on Official servers. The same is true for flyers, they narrowed down the game play into an air supremacy game with the occasional need for some land combat. I petitioned the ARK devs for over 2 years to put a hard cap on tribe numbers and also limit alliances. For whatever reason they chose to willfully ignore many of their players and act as if there was no problem at all. Finally in mid 2018 they actually listened and well Small Tribe Servers actually become overnight the most popular mode by far in ARK and has remained so ever since. While the devs finally improved the game by adding those Small Tribe Servers they then shot themselves in the foot by adding that terrible DLC called Extinction. I don't understand how their balance and testing department could conclude that a flying monster with 500,000 health, 9000 carry weight and one that could bite through the highest tier - TEK with ease was perfectly balanced and fit for release, yet somehow they thought it was. End result has been that raiding is now a much dumbed down boring experience that just involves brute force. Sadly it seems many of these ARK experts have ported their skillz over to Atlas and gifted us with such delights as the wonderful FOY idea, fire arrows, 4 hour claiming times, rocket gliders, alpha creatures and tornado volleys...

  18. My name is Smokey Jones Seaweed and I play on EU PVE on Siren Call. Today me and my tribemates (3 of us) went to M12 to kill the Hydra. We already had this powerstone because we found some bags on the ground which contained the key. Anyways! Once we killed the Hydra, we got the message in the bottom left corner saying "added key". Soon later we all died because M12 is a monster of an Island and we respawned with no Artifact keys. I have seen streamers and other players have the ability to respawn with a new key, but why not our tribe?
  19. @Jatheish @Dollie First I want to say that I enjoy playing Atlas and look forward to seeing it progress. A big ups to the Dev Team who work themselves to the bone over weekends and after hours pushing updates out as often and as quickly as they can. It isn't possible to please everyone all of the time, so my post isn't about pleasing everyone but more about trying to help you guys find a balance that would please most players (at least that's what I think LOL) I know I've been party to the blame game, however, after watching the dev stream, I am ashamed of my outbursts and would rather provide you with some constructive feedback than blind criticism. So, without further ado, here are some of my thoughts and suggestions on the game after 300+ hours of play time. (When reading, please keep in mind we are a small company of 20 split into two companies due to difficulty in finding land, with each company having 4 active players.) In game notifications (status updates, server restarts etc.): I get that it can be hard sticking to a deadline, however, it is in poor form and extremely unprofessional to keep delaying a patch when you've announced it in game. For this, I suggest looking at the unofficial servers and the way server restarts are handled. The patch is released, which the server downloads in the background. Once the server has downloaded the patch, an automated ingame notification is displayed saying that the server will restart in 15 mins. A world save occurs just before the server goes offline and is restarted. No hassle, no fuss, no angry players Aging / Fountain of Youth: I enjoy the aging system and look forward to breeding, but feel that the age debuff should not have been implement yet as it has caused unnecessary issues which could have been avoided. For now - keep the fountain of youth available as a quest to those who've reached age 90 but remove the debuff until human breeding has been implemented. This will allow players to seek out the fountain at their leisure without clogging up the servers and will further reduce server issues when the debuffs are implemented, and player age is spread out a little more. Land Claims: I have no issue with the amount of claims people can have (since limiting will not fix the problems), but there are some ways that could perhaps help new land seekers find and claim land for themselves, or settle on someone else's property. Sleepers are the biggest problem to land claims as well as people not allied to or affiliated with the company who owns the land. Contesting should only be allowed by allies and company members who are awake and currently within said flag radius. Since flags require an upkeep (running through the vicinity every X days) - this should allow players to safely log off for X amount of days (because life happens you know) and return within X period to ensure claim is still safe. This also allows new comers to find land if said land owner hasn't been on for X days without having to worry about sleepers contesting the claim. Neutral Zones: Right now - players have no guarantee that they are truly protected in a neutral zone from either the land owner changing the "allow build" settings / or from another company taking the land and preventing anyone from building there. If players were guaranteed safety / protection from these acts, then more people might look to building in neutral zones. Perhaps a minor fix for this (until a better solution is found) would be as follows: if you've allowed a flag to be a neutral zone and someone has built on it, you are not able to change the flag type until the people who are renting have either left or died. If you (as a land owner) are no longer playing, after X days of inactivity, the flag will automatically change ownership to the tenant of said land. Should there be more than one tenant (multiple smaller companies) of the property - the flag will remain neutral, change ownership to the first tenant who settled there, and retain it's neutral status. I get that this is a tricky situation and there's no quick fix for this - but if (potential) tenants have some sort of guarantee that they're protected, then this should be more enticing to smaller companies and solo players. Greed and Resource Hogging: This ties in directly with the issues players are experiencing with land claims... I've noticed that people want to protect land so they either try and take over an entire island / refuse to share land / do not set any neutral zones for other players to use. I think that if the spawn radius for resources around buildings were reduced, this might help a bit. I may be wrong - this is just my personal experience in Ark on an unofficial server where the resource spawn radius was reduced. Animals / Riding / Taming: As a breeder in Ark, I love this feature, however do feel that certain aspects of the tree do not tie in well with each other and soon beastmasters will become slaves to the company since they are the only ones able to ride the tames. My suggestion is to split the riding and taming into two sub-trees in the breastmastery tree. I do not think you need any form of taming / breeding in order to ride an animal, but do feel it is a bit more "realistic" to include the riding skill. I have not started breeding yet as the only reports I've heard are of people losing animal babies due to temperature issues. I honestly do not want to waste my time if I know it's going to take a long time to raise a baby animal only to have it die of cold / heat. So... my suggestion for this is to allow you to breed an animal in the biome you found it in - regardless of temperature. Since the animal was able to naturally spawn there in the first place, there should be no reason you can't breed it there. If you do not find a bear in the desert, then you should not be able to breed a bear in the desert, but if you find one in temperate, then it should be able to breed in temperate (this includes raising a baby as well). I can't comment on maturation time or feeding since I don't have enough information yet - so will comment on that once temperature issues are sorted and I am able to experience the breeding side of things. Vitamins and Cooking: As the chef and farmer I feel that the cooking branch and vitamins EQ is unbalanced. Not only is it wasteful to cook any meal due to the meat insta cooking, but some of the recipes do not give you a balanced diet and fill you up too quickly, so this makes balancing vitamins more of a chore than anything else. Food and vitamin drain is not balanced either, so right now - it's easier to kill yourself that worry about maintaining vitamins. I think there are two people in our company who actively try and maintain vitamins (myself and my cousin) since we enjoy having the buff, however - it becomes nearly impossible to do so when you're not grinding and draining stamina, since you vitamins deplete fast than your food drains. Yes - there are ways around this (by going into combat mode and blocking in order to drain stamina) - but it is unrealistic and stupid. Food and vitamins should drain according to the amount of stamina you use. If you're inactive - your food doesn't drain, so your vitamins should also not drain as quickly as they do when you're active and vice versa. As things stand, there's no incentive for me (or other's with the cooking skill) to cook food. I've tried some of the recipes and although the recipes show that they increase two vitamins - they do not increase these vitamins by the same amount nor at the same speed. So in order to maintain a balanced diet at this point in time - it is much easier to eat 1 portion of cooked meat and fish to 5 portions of vegetables and berries. It would also be nice to have a separate recipe option for cooking meat / fish as the auto cook option requires you to have way more meat than is necessary in order to craft one meal. Farming: I love the farming in this game compared to Ark - the mini game and stamina drain is awesome... I just have one request (not a suggestion - just a wishful thinking kinda post)... Please have seeds attainable for the fruits and berries required for cooking meals And also - thank you for increasing harvest yield - it has balanced farming very nicely and now makes it worth while. Feeding trough stacks and spoil timers: I'm trying to think of a good solution to having to keep meat fresh for animals and two spring to mind... either increase the stack size for meat in feeding troughs which allows a stack to last longer before spoiling, or allow the use of preserving salts in feeding troughs (without the meat turning into salted meat). Perhaps I'm being a bit silly here - I just hate seeing all that wasted meat, just to ensure my carnivores have enough food for the day. Wild Animal and Monster Spawns: Before reading the below - please note that these thoughts are prior to the patch which nerfed the aggro animals spawns, but decided to post it anyway. Personally I feel that there's a massive over spawn of all the creatures right now (especially on the golden age servers) so it's no longer exciting to see something new - nor does it really scare me to go exploring. I should be scared, and I should be excited - but I just don't feel it any more. I know that this isn't something that's easy to balance, so what I would do if I were a game developer is reduce the spawns and increase the aggro range. Imagine you've just landed on an island and the shore front is populated by humans, but the inner island is pretty void of human life. There's little animal life on the beach front since most animals are scared of human settlements. Some animals might be curious and occasionally wander into the settlement, but these would be harmless - since they're also naive... take cows, crows and seagulls for instance. Further inland the animal population grows as the human population becomes less and you'll see more passive yet perhaps skittish animals, but now, you're wary because you don't know what's lurking in the shadows... it might be a pack of wolves, or a pride of lions, or a solitary tiger waiting for it's next meal. By keeping the predator spawns low, but having the aggro range increased will provide you with that sense of being scared instead of annoyed. You can also go a step further by having predatory animals become braver at night... Alpha's need to be a little more rare, but also more rewarding to kill. As it stands, they're a pain in the back side since all I get for killing one is a little bit of XP, extra meat and hide. Make them worth the trouble they cause Golden Age servers are ridiculous as they currently are. We sailed there before the fountain of youth release to see what it was like and were shocked to see the over spawn of cyclops on the beach front. And I'm not taking about 10 - 20 on the beach... I'm talking about 100s of these things. I get that you want these area's to be end game kinda areas - but the over spawn is laughable. I'd do the same here as with normal islands except instead of passives roaming around, have predators and smaller monsters as the norm with fewer really dangerous creatures... but increase the aggro range and maybe include traps and puzzles of some sort. Think Indiana Jones type of island and you'll get where I'm going. Weather Events: I like the weather events - it adds an interesting dynamic to the game, but they are broken right now and annoy more than provide a sense of fear or harsh survival conditions. Cyclones are annoying and no longer scary. Instead of having one almost guaranteed each time you set sail, have it rain more often with power unpredictable winds - then occasionally throw in a massive cyclone (one - not 10) that does a lot more damage than the baby cyclones currently do. It'll add that scare factor but also allow you to try and out sail the cyclone. Heat waves should be limited to warmer climates as should cold fronts be limited to colder climates. They should also not overlap, nor should they be so frequent that they become annoying, but more rare and deadly. Building: I love building (although haven't had much of a chance to build on official yet) but there are a few building mechanics that need to be implemented to reduce frustrations, use of unnecessary structures, and improve on server performance. Clipping needs to be looked at - it was done in Ark and can be done here - as it is... there are too many "obstructions" which make building a pain more than it is enjoyable. Dynamic walls, floors, ceilings, pillars and gates would allow us to use less objects in a structure (scale the resource cost as per the size of said structure) thus improving on server performance as well. Hotbar Cooldown: Either this wasn't very well thought out, or I'm completely missing the point of this... what is the point? If, in reality, I take a knife from the drawer to butter some bread, it's not going to take 5 seconds before I can use the knife. This cooldown doesn't make sense to me. I get the mini games for reloading etc. but not the cooldown for equipping anything. Edited to add: Ship Unclaim Option: Please allow for ship unclaiming - not all of us want to build ships and there are people who'd love to build ships for others to buy -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- END -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've lost my train of thought numerous times throughout this post, so think it's best I stop here for now... allow my brain to move on, and perhaps come back to this post at a later stage P.S. I know that as an individual there's no possible way I would be able to think of all the variables and some of my suggestions may not be viable so I encourage other players to expand on my post, play devil's advocate, provide their constructive feedback and help the devs in a more valuable way than just complain and be hateful.

Introdution Having to deal everyday with griefers, rude peoples, fundation spammers and so on over the official server, pushed me to open a new unofficial server. I can't guarantee there will not be anything of this, but will do my best to take care of it. The server is a 3x2 grid with plenty of Islands and places to build, including a Freeport zone, a PvP/WarZone Region, Lawless Region, Powerstone Region, an Hardcore Powerstone region for those who likes challenges and a Free Claimable Region.   22. it's an interesting theory, it is. but one has to question why they thought with so much of the population above teh age of 90, spawning or sending so many already laggy freeports was a way to go; and spawning only one or two of these things on an entire official map was a good idea in comparison. Make it an craftable, for criminy's sake. Hell of a lot better than sailing literally to opposite ends spending hours and hours of what game time you have only to find it gone by the time you get there, or so lagged out because gee.. whole server cluster is trying to get rid of the old age debuffs etc: that not only is it not spawning, but you'll be lucky not to scuttle your ship amongst the hundreds of others there. What troll on the team thought it was a good idea to put it on adventure zones right off the bat ought to be reprimanded as well. IF you live long enough to get to shore, you're likely to have a monster kited at you, or waiting to kill you at the door anyway: making the point of getting there entirely moot.
  23. Considering Red Dead 2 is not a MMO it isnt even comparable. WoW, Blizzard has NEVER released their subscription numbers. So you cant count that. Star Citizen... LOL is Vapourware. And isnt even an actively released game yet.   24. I cant run 1 minute without finding an alpha (can provide video proof). This must be fixed. Taming is 100% a waste of time because you cant leave the base with a tame and have it live with the current alpha spawn rate. Farming is a nightmare. Granted not every alpha is aggressive but read on. Its rediculous to have any alpha that literally cant be avoided if it aggros because theyre faster than normal spawns and even further ridiculousness that I cant even tame replacements because there is an alpha every 5th spawn that kills the high level potential tames. A pack of wolves cant kill an alpha cow, horse, crow etc. I would be ok with alphas being gone completely if necessary or BALANCE them so that theyre RARE (meaning you dont see one every day) and then also make them WORTH KILLING. Right now you get like 3 or 4x the amount of NORMAL MATERIALS that you get from killing the same type of monster but the risk is retarded versus the reward. If the spawn rate isnt going to be reduced then at least reduce their run speed to normal so you can GTFO if you dont want the encounter. They add nothing to the game and make taming completely useless.
