    Unable to merge compagny

    Yo ho and a bottle of rum! So two weeks ago, ive wrote a ticket, we got this compagny who wish to merge with us, and that would be great, hence the bloody island point system, the sad part is just..... None of the leaders have the merge compagny option so we are stuck now, this really sucks, and no help from support, even tho it says they deal specific with that kind of issue, so any ideas here ?   3. I've created quite a few topics on here regarding the connectivity issue where, FROM DAY ONE, you are unable to connect to any server or see the game map on the server selection page. I've done a ton of troubleshooting to see if I could find the issue. To this day, I haven't had any success. I highly doubt the problem is with my PC/Network because I'm able to directly trace to the game servers (on amazonAWS) themselves, but not through the connection that Atlas actually uses. Thus I believe the problem is either a routing issue, or due to the Atlas/Battleye software itself. That said, I invite THE DEVELOPERS to check out these four Wireshark scans I performed while trying to connect to various Atlas servers. I made each of these scans after the 8.0 deployment because the problem still exists; http://www.jodiangaming.ca/WSScans.zip I assure you that the ZIP files contains legitimate Wireshark scans, no viruses/spyware, and is provided without any editing of any kind. The file names list which servers I attempted to connect to during the time the scan was being performed. All scans were made by following this process; - Starting at the main menu - Click to join a New server - Select the Server region (official) - On the "map" screen, click the server on the grid (black map) - Clicking the connect button - Wait until the Time Out error appears Additional testing I've performed over the previous patches (for this same issue) includes the following; - Disabled Windows Firewall & no AntiVirus/Spyware - Forwarded Ark ports to my PC (7777-7782, 9999-10000) - Forwarded Steam ports to my PC (27015-27030, 37015) - Set my PC into my router DMC - Eliminated my router from the network (PC wired direct to internet modem) - Switched to my Onboard NIC from my Add-In NIC - Performed an Atlas file verification through Steam (1 file fixed) - Performed a clean uninstall of Atlas and reinstalled - Removed all virtual Network Interface Devices (hamachi, etc) - Attempted to use VPN software to change my location (Germany, England, USA, China) - Removed all VPN Interface Devices (after testing) In addition, I patch Atlas as every new patch rolls out and I go through these troubleshooting steps all over again. With every Atlas patch I tried to connect to 3 Freeport and 3 Lawless servers in each EU/NA zone, both PVE and PVP, on official servers. I'm currently up to 16 hours of "play time" and have never joined a single server. EDIT: I've recently discovered that my connection to the NA Atlas servers seems to route through Germany, and only reaches as far as a server owned by Link11, which appears to be a data security firm. I've attempted to contact them for further troubleshooting (since the Devs aren't responding) and the Link11 support team is working on discovering the problem. EDIT#2: Developers, please continue to monitor this topic. I will keep troubleshooting with each patch released and add that information as topic replies.
  4. After the Server we were playing on crashed while we were on sea, nearly all of our crew members that were manned at the cannons vanished. The cannons are still manned, but cannot be used or demolished. Now our entire galleon is useless and we cant do anything. Pls fix this gamebreaking bug asap.

    Host Connection/PrimalGameData

    I have played Atlas from the beginning, and have had this glitch since launch. To summarize this, at random my game will either crash with the message, "Host Connection Lost", and then upon clicking the rejoin button I am either presented with one of three things. The first of these is the infamous PrimalGameData, which appears randomly and just acts as an infinite loading screen, even have left it on their for an hour and nothing has happened. The next is these is the "Host Connection lost", which just brings me back to the homepage and sometimes takes away the rejoin button. The last is "Host Pending Connection Lost", which is pretty much the same thing as "Host Connection Lost" and takes away the rejoin button, while redirecting to main menu screen. I have tried many things in order to attempt fixing this, I have validated countless times, I have double and triple checked my system specs and dedicated ram to the game. I have tried countless "delete this" or "move this file" then validate and retry to no avail. I have tried the "join EU PVP then rejoin NA PVP", which has not worked for me. While I still can play the game, it only lets me in at semi-random intervals or sometimes right after a patch has been pushed through, then I am kicked and stuck waiting for some random interval to present itself. I love this game, and all I want to do is play it, but this bug is making it impossible for me and anyone else whom may have it to play the game. The one thing I have not tried is re-downloading the game as A, I have heard it not work for some, and B, it may delete your character. If anyone has any suggestions I am more then open to trying them, and I implore the developers to please fix this. I know this is a partial issue you guys have had in Ark, and all I want is for it to be fixed, or at least an acknowledgement of this issue and an attempt to fix the issue, or at least to try and see personally if it is something wrong with my game or whatever is wrong with it. Thank you for everything, and I will continue to follow the games Loyal Gamer -Val (Would insert screenshots, but is too big to fit. Pretty much just a loading bar of PrimalGameData_BP, The Host Connection Timeout popup, and the Host Pending Connection Lost.) P.S. I have submitted a ticket, but I do not know what good that will do.

    Fatal Error in Dedicated Sever

    My dedicated server stopped working today. It has been running perfectly for a lone time. When I updated and ran it today, I got a fatal error below, it it will not load. Its's a 2x2 and non of the 4 servers will load. Any suggestions?

    M4 255 Ping unplayable

    M4 server 255 ping, can't play, needs restart.
  8. I can't hire new crewmembers at Freeport since patch 11.4, and my company owns only 1 NPC crewmember which is also lvl 15+. So it's not the case when you can't hire NPCs because of 20 lvl 1 members limit. Please fix ASAP. Thank you.
  9. Question is simple when you gonna fix the login issue's, people are mass leaving this game because of this nonsense !! I can not understand that a fix is not allready up, the patch that made the game unplayable has been up for some days now. Each patch the game performance is getting worse, what are you doing over at Grapeshot studio? The launch was allready a disaster and have not seen any change for the better since then.

    Recent weird behavior.

    All of my clan members are facing similar issues, what we can report: Issues we are facing: Issue one: BattlEye client not responsive kicks. Issue two: Can sometimes spawn in, can walk, can not interact with mounts, crew, doors etc. Issue three: User Interface. We can press the button to open any of the UI's, but it stays open for a split second before closing. Issue four: Respawn. If we are lucky to die, respawn map is pure green with non-clickable parts. Issue five: Can not rejoin to server, need to join new atlas and select respawn point, which usually puts us back where we had a bed. Issue six: When clicking join new atlas, it throws a nice (nope) little error that tells the client lost connection, trying to quit the game, or simply just wait, and the client will turn black before eventually joining the game. Issue seven: When we finally have established connection, we are kicked after 3-10 minutes. When did we notice these recent bugs? We noticed these recent bugs around the 18th January. We all have a variety of hardware, software and internet, ranging from terrible to quite decent. Issue is consistent and not tied to hardware. As someone mentioned in another bug post. "It feels like BattlEye is restricting most of the client functionality."

My game stuck at the phase of crossing server border, i restarted the game and now i can't join for last 22 hours im getting the same error always "Host connection timeout" then turns in to "Network Failure Message"Tried other servers: no problem.Told my friends to kill my sleeping body: nothing changed.

    Ping and Latency 250+

    This is completely game-breaking. Guys what is going on with your servers. I was playing at N9 tonight and about 45 mins ago RL the server jumped from the middle of the day to about 2AM. instantly. Everyone was asking what happened. Additionally, for the last 48 hours the Ping and latency has been hovering between 186-250. The game is completely unplayable at the moment.
  14. We have a buoy blocking resources My corp placed it and still owns the sign part but the bottom is owned by another corp and its destroyable but neither of us can destroy it. Can we please get a admin to destroy it? Our island has been barred for 5 days or so.

  16. We've had numerous people that while connecting, timed out, and at the same time they were suddenly removed from our company. Upon relog the create new character screen came up. They're still there, but can't find their character, their claims are still active and buildings, but no longer in the company.
  17. It seems that none of our ranks can demolish structures including ones they have placed unless they are admins, has anyone else experienced this or found a fix?
  18. If you try to kill wild animals, that fight each other, you will be dead FOR SURE. As soon as first animal dies, the second animal, that still attacks you, will start also hitting the first animals corpse. Every time it hits the corpse, it HEALS. A LOT. THEY WILL HEAL FASTER THAN YOU CAN KILL THEM. At this point you are fighting with UNKILLABLE enemy. Even worse: They KEEP HEALING EVERY ATTACK even after the corpse disappears!! If you run far away and are still alive, you can start killing the animal again, because it stops healing every hit, if you change the location far enough. This is completely broken. Basically every time you meet a wolf and a lion, you better run, because you and your tamed animal will almost surely die. Unless you somehow manage to 1. kill one of them 2. put some distance between the first animal kill place, even after the corpse is gone, 3. have enough health left to start killing again fully healed second animal. Please consider this as a priority for next patches, as it is EXTREMELY EASY to lose ANY tamed animal this way. Because it is very hard to get away from wolfs and lions once they target you. and as soon as there are more than one, one of them becomes immortal after the first one dies. At this point taming is almost pointless, because as soon as you walk into 2 different predators or even if a predator joins you, while you kill a chicken, you can die extremely easily against UNKILLABLE enemy. I understand, if the wild animals have time to eat themselves full AFTER they fight, but healing in the middle of fight is just pointless. My proposal is, that if fighting is active, any sort of harvesting is disabled. For wild AND for tamed animals. Because it's extremely stupid, if you hit a wolf and suddenly your bear has 3000 berries. Like when had it time to pick berries WHILE fighting?!
  19. So me and a lot of my company members logged in this morning and all of us were removed from our company overnight. Now we are losing all of our claimed lands, 3 schooners, 3 sloops, 1 galleon. This is huge and needs to be fixed

    Tool tips missing

    All of my crafting tool tips have disappeared. I can't see the names of items or how much+type of material it takes to craft anything. I found one other thread that said fast travel fixed, but this didn't work for me, neither did restarting the game. I'm considering uninstalling, but this seems unreliable and tedious. I've played with all the graphics options including UI sliders and scaling. Thanks for any other fixes/suggestions.
  21. Got on earlier this morning to woek on a few things log off for a couple hours and when i came back not even 3 hours later half of our claims had been taken by randos from another sector. We provided a service to the region by leasing land and using taxed rss to pay for brigs to kill SODs in the region keeping everyone safer. Its insane that we lost our flags on a 3 day system in three hours. We even replaced them to keep them refreshed and on a 3 day timer. Oh well now they dont get to have any resources as we have blocked all respawns on the island with fresh flags and buoys Figure out a flag system for pve and keep it seperate from the pvp flag system. -Leader of ChronicallyRavingCo.   23. The fact it takes 30m(or technically 40m total i guess) to steal someones claim is totally absurd! We had our entire base stolen in 40m by another company. They gained ownership of our building and all of our locked doors assets etc in just 40m? This needs a COMPLETE OVERHAUL. You can't really expect people to play this game 24x7, that is unreasonable. Realistically someone can take everything you have spent all your blood sweat and tears building in 40m, while you are offline. That is less than the time it takes to feed yourself and watch an episode of something on netflix in between getting your ships sunk by ghost ships! Give me a break guys.
  24. Notes: PvE Claim Flag contesting now displays the enemy Claim Flag's upkeep time remaining before you can contest it, and provides a proper HUD message to that effect. Can no longer claim unallied boats on PVE servers. PVE Territory can only be claimed if the owner has not been active around the territory within the last 3 days. On NA PVE in I11, we have been active EVERY day around our ENTIRE claim - yet we do not have this supposed "3 day" protection. We have had land stolen over night NUMEROUS times since these patch notes went live.
  25. So to start, I’ve played Ark for a long long time and I am a big fan of this developer. But right now the PVE Claim system just like the rest of Atlas is broken, and that is a serious problem for anyone who is trying this game out, as Land Claim and the system is at the heart of how you get started in this game. The first problem Is that players and Companies have an unlimited supply of claim flags, which is beyond understanding. There should be a cap on the number of claim flags a player can place without having a previous land claim becoming unclaimed and open if they want to place it. There are a couple of ways you can cap this, either by limiting the amount of flags a player can place per grid coordinate, or by a total cap for the world. Right now you have solo players capping islands totally for themselves. The biggest issue, however, is the claim flag system and the supposed “72 hour timer”. I say supposed because it does not work or is so unreliable that you are better off assuming that it doesn’t work at all. This means if you want to keep the progress you have made, you will have to stay online 24/7 as you must be the one to refresh your claim flag, a company member’s presence won’t refresh your claim flag…we’ve tested it…. has to be the flag owner. Here is an example. We had flags placed since the 72-hour window came into effect. Owners visit all their flags when they log in for the day and before we log out for the night we revisit all the flags. However, when I woke up this morning, I found that 2 of my flags that I had placed and visited last night before I logged off (approx. 8 hours before) the land had been stolen. How is that possible, given that the 2 flags I’m talking about here were placed after the 72-hour window came into effect. That’s how we got them in the first place. As a result, we have lost an amazing amount of progress because we had a lot of assets in that area that are now gone. Land Claim and the decay system are at the core of the game. It’s a pillar of the progression system that sets you up to be able to explore the world, test the systems, see the environment, etc. When this system is fundamentally broken / not working, then really they might as well just wipe the servers every night, because that’s the risk you run when you log out for the day now, you run the risk that your stuff can be stolen in 30 mins, even though the “72 hour system” is supposed to be in effect. The rest of atlas has a lot of issues and while it’s early access, if the development team can’t fundamentally and properly put in place the system which makes up one of the core pillars of the game, then the game should be taken back down, and they should ensure that this get’s fixed before they have had players waste time and effort playing their game. This isn’t an example of a bug where a ghost ship couldn’t be damaged, or they weren’t spawning, this is a massive issue where your progress in the game is wiped out and can be wiped out in 30 minutes, because they can’t implement a claim system properly. I’ve been a huge supporter of this developer since Ark. Bought ark when it first came out, and while there were bugs with that on launch, there was nothing about the core of the game that was at issue. In Atlas, the biggest challenge I’ve had is rolling the dice every morning and logging in to see if we still have our progress from the day before or have the players managed to steal and grief on a PVE server. It’s amazing that the Dev’s are so quiet on this issue, you can hear a pin drop. They won’t respond because they know the system is busted, they have 0 idea how to fix it, so they would rather ignore it. For a moment I thought they were owned by Activision Blizzard, as they do the same thing. Claim system should be as follows: Players get 2-3 Claim flags per zone or total overall. Companies get a max claim flag per zone overall or a tiered system depending on how many persons in the company, but even then so many flags per zone. Because the point of the game is exploring so you want to build outposts, and need some flags to do that. Land Claim area should not allow another flag to be placed down if the circumference of the land claim would intersect or overlap with an existing land claim of another tribe. This might mean there would be “unclaimed” gaps between land claims but so be it. That would be “tax free” areas in a sense. Upkeep of land claims should require resources which can be paid to the claim and the resources required would increase based on the required upkeep depending on how many flags you have placed. Any company member should be allowed to pay this upkeep. Reason for this, if you go on vacation for 2 weeks, you don’t want to come back and see all your stuff gone. Unless Atlas is saying they want people sharing their account info with others in order for friends to keep their claim flags refreshed. Claim flags should not be allowed to be placed in floating barrels in the water beyond a certain range from shore. While deep water is required for the construction of some vessels, having land claim flags out in the middle of the ocean is silly at best. Need to re-adjust this. Allow Alliance members to build on land claims that can be designated as Alliance build friendly, and allow the option if you are in multiple alliances to set which alliance you want to allow to build in there. This would promote making land available to newer players who may come in once a lot of land is taken, and players could “tax” those new players for living on their land. Companies could create “new player” alliances that allow members to build on claims they authorize. Without some immediate and serious corrections to both the Land Claim decay rate issue and Land Claims overall, the amount of negative press because of core issues like this in this game will override any hopes of positive PR they hope to get going forward. I really hope they turn it around, but evidence has shown they aren’t really interested in getting to the heart of this issue….
