  1. For the love of god.... Ssort the fucking wolves out, I'm fucking rraging right now, ALL DAY, ALL FUCKING DAY EVERY 5 FUCKING MINUTES - the FUUCKING wolves are SPAWNING ON ME and fucking killing me, Even with a spear, or a bow they regen health while attacking you, Solo or packs, cant outrun, cant outplay, cant even sneak past them - SORT THE FUCKING WOLVES, I can understand a Lion being OP, but a wolf? - C'mon sort it, Its not fun anymore - EVERY 5 FUCKING MINUTES I DIE TO A WOLVE......... I cant even build to PvP on the PvP server, cus the fucking PvE is fucking stupid and not even realistic, in real life a wolf wouldn't even go near a fire pit... SORRT IT OUT, IT's not fun, I know its alpha, I enjoy the game, The game is fun even with all the bugs, But these FUCKINGG WOLVES ARE UNREALISTIC and OP, all you devs are doing at the moment is makingg it impossible for small groups/solo players, What are you guys actually doing to penalise those who have took every singgle piece of land within the first 2 days when 90% of people couldn't even connect? The games good, but at least sort these fundamental bollox out first please for the love of god........
  2. I'm no expert on the AI crew (I just got my first two), but I was able to click on them to bring up the radial wheel and tell them to man the two sails. I had to bring one to the other end of the ship to be able to assign them to the second sail though. And when I got back to my base, I built one of those storage box thingies in the captain's tree, added some resources, and they automatically started repairing, but I think it might only be when they are moored in port (I've heard possibly in your own territory, but cannot confirm). Just a caution: while my ship was moored at my base, every wolf that aggro'd me seemed to run directly to my ship and start attacking it, and actually killed one of my NPCs (even though they were in the boat and the wolf was in the water).
  3. 2-3? There are usually at least 4 in sight when you are out on the ocean. They are unavoidable. Certainly if you are trying to GO anywhere. It would still be dumb even if it was physically possible to outrun them when you are going straight with the wind, but that's impossible as well. They're like wolves, if every wolf were an alpha wolf and wolves spawned much closer together. The loot certainly isn't worth it either, unless you're just taking advantage of their shit programming and harvesting them with an axe from the waterline. The devs gave a limited number of people a huge advantage with the bad launch, then they decided to cement that by releasing the ships of the damned (not sure if they existed before, but we took a pretty long trip on rafts and never saw one) and killing anyone who dared leave an island cluster without a lot of cannons and ammo. The only reasoning I can see behind this is that they want it to look more exciting for all the youtubers and streamers who somehow seemed to near universally avoid the problems that kept ppl from logging in for days and then the stuff that came after as well? Even those ppl are mostly shit-talking the game though, so I'm not sure what they hope to accomplish. SotD need to be reduced massively, and need to actually exist in the world instead of just spawning around players, and the servers need a reset bad. Not that I care, I think I'm done. I guess they've already got my money so they don't care, but they certainly won't get any more when the inevitable continuing revenue model comes out. What you wanna bet they're just going to sell gold and make it 100% p2w on top of everything else? That's the thing, there probably aren't that many spawned at any one time lol. They pretty clearly spawn ON player ships, because you can also see them despawning as they get out of range, just popping into and out of existence in a cloud around you. If they actually spawned at the density with which they surround player vessels away from land there would be no doubt millions of them and the server would crash.
  4. I did the one in E5 (Center of the southwest side of Sinkasing Island). A few things I noticed that may make things easier. Take a boat with cannons or ballistas. I took a brig and my cannons and ballistas were on the back so I backed the boat in. You can back ALL the way in. It feels wrong, but nothing will aggro if you stay on the boat. Even the fire elementals were just passing through my boat. It's when you get off the boat things attack you. So basically I cleared out the beach and entrance leading to the cave. A lot of times I couldn't kill the gorgons before they got too close to the ship. No problem though, they stay aggroed on the ship for a while so you can just jump over them and run in. Also you can put a catapult on your ship to launch yourself from. Choose "load into catapult" and you will be placed in the catapult where you can aim it and launch yourself. Even better equip a glider and hit the spacebar when you reach max height. Might want to practice this somewhere else to get the hang of it. Also make sure if you set your crew to target or auto attack that they do not hit the fire elementals. They will wreck you. Stop them from firing when you see an elemental patrolling over. Do not even get off the ship if an elemental is nearby. Lastly you might be unlucky and end up with a lion or wolf near the cave entrance. Just kite it back to the ship instead of trying to run past it. At least then if you die you will be able to take them out with the ship.
  5. The wolf Situation in Atlas is an actual problem. I'm not just saying this cause i'm some newbie. I'm an Ark player with 3000hours of in game play. It has 2 Issues. Issue 1 The spawn rate of these and most predators is insanely HIGH along with almost every animal in the game. This kinda animal density is like Jacking Arks dino spawn rate to 3 or higher. Way Way WAY to many. A single player with a bow cannot defend them selves against 5-10 wolves every 5 minutes. Its a loosing battle. Its 110% unrealistic to think you can win with that kin of odds. Issue 2. Speed and attack strenght. These Wolves are WAY to fast. You cant fire on them cause the send you let your arrow fly the wolf is a good 5platforms away from where you aimed. And once they get to you thats it. You just have to stop fighting cause its a 0% chance of hitting so you just have to let your self die.
  6. I fought a wolf and the wolf won. I didn't have my map open. Now since i'm dead, when I try to log the map should open to let me choose my respawn bed. I don't know if it's what you want. I answered to try to aggro the devs

Last night 4am we got 4 animals (Lvl 40+ Tiger, 40+Wolf, 30+wolf and 20Wolf) Today morning we log on on 8 am and they were gone. nothing in tribe log what happend and everything. pls help! ++ animals do very low damage. its like a normal fist hit from Humans pls fix this too. thank you have a good day
  8. So I decided to settle on a high desert island (because that's all I could find) and the carnivore spam is really infuriating. The area is unplayable right now. At every step, there's a crocodile, wolf, alpha snake, you name it. Here is the welcoming committee near my house: https://i.imgur.com/Mn2wba2.jpg The average beach: https://i.imgur.com/mdu1B8f.jpg I don't mind having to kill a wolf here and there but with hordes like these all over the place this is not a sea and pirate themed game, this is Ark but much worse, because at least Ark had less carnivores spam and strong herbivores to keep them in reasonable numbers. And to add insult to injury, they are on a 5 minutes respawn timer. How many times do i have to kill them? I can't make arrows fast enough to deal with the spam and that's all I've been doing for hours.

On top of the alphas and spawns being absurd, the animal knock back is insane, you cant even properly fight wolves or lions without ranged, because melee weapons are pure GARBAGE, who would have thought a sword would do 31 damage, when a bow with stone arrows does 43? It takes 10-15 hits to kill even low level things, let alone the fact that you have to STOP to swing, you cant avoid them or time swings in between the animals bite because of how fast they attack. I am level 43 right now and killing a single wolf with a melee weapon is near suicide, if you do your armor will be nearly broken and you will be almost dead. Guns are the only way to survive right now in wolf/lion spawning areas. You one shot them with rifles or pistols. In Ark, I would run around with a spear and kill T-rexes, pretty easily, in DnL I could kill anything with melee weapons, this is basically suicide to even attempt it.
  10. First of, sorry if this isn't allowed, and if i'm crossing any lines. I'm just venting purely because I enjoy the game & i want to see it get better. So, just to preface this at the time of writing, i have 39 hours of playtime, and i played Ark for a substantial amount of time, so the issues i am raising aren't to do with me being educated, but more what i think should happen with the game to make it more fair. Although there are a LOT of issues with the game, i just want to say i am extremely happy with the progress the developers have made & the time they have done it in, especially in such a stressful time of the year for anyone, now with that all said and done time to get into the actual issues! (I'm going to break it down into sections) Gameplay Issues (The biggest): - You can raid stone bases with shields and shovels. Any Pickaxes and Axes/Hatchets don't do any damage to it whatsoever... but a fucking shield and shovel does?! - this needs to be fixed immediate, its an extremely game-breaking bug. I have been on the receiving end of people 'abusing' this, and i just watched the base i spent 2 days grinding for disappear. This may come off as salty (and yes, i am a bit) but i'm sure you all would be too. - This may come off as a bit 'racist', but i do not intend it to come off as that, but in my honest opinion, i feel as if China should be region-locked to their own servers. This is because we get massive zergs (20-30 people) duping, hacking etc. And all of the reports i have seen are 90% reports about Chinese players. With this change (although people will more than likely dislike it), i do wish we would get a wipe, too. On EU PVP and NA PVP there are Chinese Zergs with maxed out Galleon which is just insane in 2 days. Not just that, it gives everyone an equal chance now that the servers are semi-stable for everyone. - Resources still don't re-spawn if you're on the island. We sat on an island for a good 2 hours waiting for trees, etc to respawn and barely any did. We also waited for metal nodes to respawn, but literally none did until we came on the day after, then only half of what was there came back. - Climbing Picks are way too overpowered. I managed to rush them and raid someone within the first hour of me playing, and that got me geared (yes it was an offline raid, but oh well!). I feel as if they should be at least mid-game, or requires a "rock climbing" skill under survivalist, shouldn't be able to get it too early into the game. - People are able to claim whole island, so i suggest either making the map bigger to allow us to settle in places where others aren't, or limit 1 claim per company or person, which can be upgraded with gold to be able to place more. (I'd prefer company, that way it requires you to ally with others to claim). - The default lock-on PVP Camera is extremely annoying, i know you can disable it, but in all honesty i'd prefer the melee/pvp system from ARK. It feels a lot more balanced in my opinion. - On some islands, way too many animals spawn. Before we got raided, our base was in F11 (which has desert islands) and at 1 time, we were all getting chased by like 6/7 snakes, 2 crocks and 3 vultures. It shouldn't be too 'easy' to claim an island, etc but that's just ridiculous, especially since we were fresh spawns, hitting level 20 snakes with spears. - Its way too easy to destroy ships. We had a Schooner with 4 total cannons and 4 total swivel guns. Another, idol, Schooner took around 8 shots before it sank, its too much of a grind to be sunk in such little shots in my opinion. I feel as if it should be more shots in order to destroy the bigger boats. - Tying into my previous point, there is no way to protect your Schooner whilst you're offline, sure you can place it in a Freeport, but people can just ram it (Yes i've seen the patch notes, and i know they're fixing it), but we took our Schooner to a Freeport, and when we logged on, it was gone. This can also be used for trolling purposes, so i'd recommend making a place where you can store your boat in the Freeport for gold (and it just globally makes it invisible for everyone, like the bodies, etc), that way we have a sure way on how to store our boat, and it requires some-kind of grinding so we can have a 100% way to keep our boat, that we spent days grinding for, safe. - The vitamin system is very good, but pointless considering people literally just kill themselves and respawn to get all of their stats back, if this is how the game was intended to be played, no change is required. A change i would suggest would be just to remove the system entirely or to make it less 'advanced' as its too hard to manage it all in a game like this, so dying and respawning is the easiest way to do it. - When you purchase an AI from the Freeports, they get stuck and you have to 'tame' them with gold, since they count as AI (just like animals, etc) people can kill them, so its pretty pointless getting them, or you have to travel to a Freeport with no one in it to even buy one. - On some Tundra islands, there is a severe lack of fibre, in a place where berries, tress, etc can thrive it doesn't make sense that fibre is the only thing that can't thrive, even though they can thrive in harsh conditions in real life. - The ship collision on the sea floor needs a bit of a nerf. Even though you're clearly not touching the floor, you can sometimes get stuck (only with the Schooner+), i experienced getting stuck multiple times, and required us to just sit in place, rotate and wait for the wind to push us out of the stuck area. - There is a severe lack of items such as wheat, etc. There is no documentation as to where they spawn, and the map is too big to be searching every island to find it. Its also like this with a lot of other resources, such as gems/crystals, etc. - Taming is close to impossible, one of my crew-mates got the whole tree for taming, and we bola'd a wolf and attempted to feed it bones, but whenever we got too close, we'd just get bitten and given a severe amount of knockback. We searched around the wolf, and the only accessible place to feed it bones is by its head. I suggest in the taming tree that we are able to make a 'muzzle' kind of item that we can place over the wolfs head (and has the same action as finding water/reloading), and you have it hit it all green for it to work. - There is a massive lack of general information about the game. No idea on respawn times, item locations, etc. We searched for a good 4 hours to find some gems yesterday, and we didn't find a single one, now that could be because of bad luck/someone has already mined them, but it's annoying considering its required to progress, and we're expected to search throughout the whole map to find 1 ingredient we need. Additionally, there is an extreme lack of information about farming/irrigation, music and how to find it (and what i even does), etc. - Doors and Ladders are annoying to open and climb. You have to look directly at the interaction point for it, i don't remember it being this annoying in ARK. - For some weird reason, gates are MUCH louder than anything else in game, which is.. very annoying especially when its like 2am, everythings quiet and you just get the shit scared out of you by a gate (yes it happened to me lmao). - The fishing system isn't fluent. We have no idea on how to do it, etc. Network Issues (Its smaller!): - Randomly, the server/instance crashes/restarts. I know the developers are constantly working on fixing and improving the networking side of things, but yeah, its still annoying. When the servers crash, it rolls us back anywhere between 5-10 minutes (Experienced a 20 minute rollback before) - Servers refusing connections is a very big issue. At the time of writing this, a LOT of people are experiencing this issue (more specifically, people who have logged out in Freeports). E12 has been dead for the past 7+ (or so) hours. I haven't been able to connect, and i know a lot of other people are experiencing the same issue, but no comment from the developers side whatsoever. I've scouted Reddit, Twitter and even the forums and there has been no reply except for Jats tweet (https://twitter.com/Jatheish/status/1078031356494524417). - Just a very big issue with people not being able to connect, and extremely vague lost-connection issues. This "shit post" wasn't/isn't intended be a dig at anyone. Its just me more expressing my thoughts and opinions (and venting as i stated above!). This post was also created to help the developers in identifying the pressing issues that us, as players, are experiencing. But i do really, really hope for a wipe, even though i'm sure some of you are against it. I do have my crew working on another base, so its not just because we got raided. It's purely because it makes it more fair. Last thing, congrats to the developers for hitting 53,000 concurrent players today!
  11. This is an immediate issue in my opinion that is far more damaging to the player's experience than many of the bugs out there except for connectivity. There are FAR too many animals on some islands. Like a hundred horses, around 50 wolves, and 20 or so lions on a small island. Not to mention the 10 or so Alpha Wolves / Lions wandering the island that are practically unkillable. If there was 1 Alpha per island, this would not be an issue as much. Whats worse is when those 50 wolves find the hundred horses and kill them all, or 1 alpha wolf finds those hundred horses, instead of horses respawning, more wolves respawn. This is absolutely madding, 90% of my time is spent retrieving my body after an alpha wolf just ate it. Who could even think that's a part of being a pirate? There needs to be a set ratio of animals on each island, and the medium-small islands could use at minimum 50% less animals. Also Alpha Wolves and Lions shouldn't do as much increased damage as they do. Just change their level to 60-90 so they are strong, but not unkillable. I'm sure some people can kill them, but it ain't easy when you can't progress because you've lost your base to Alpha Wolves twice.
  12. So wanted to respond here as we just tamed our first wolf. Firstly, you can create a taming pet with gates and walls. That is what we did. we built 2 stone gates with doors on them, ran a wolf in there and had walls with windows in them. For the windows you press T as you are placing a wall and you can cycle through different wall types. Then we built a stair on the outside of the taming pet and a ceiling out over the side of it so we could stand on it. So not sure why you can't protect yourself. Make out of stone and you'll be fine. The way bola taming works is you have to get the create down health wise to a low level so you can tame it. Then once you bola it at low health it "knocks out" and a bola timer starts which shows you how long it will be before it wakes up. So what you do is you feed it until you get close to the bola timer ending, then go back on the ramp and you have to work it down to low health again and then re-bola it. Work it down to low health with bow and arrow taking non head shots. I will agree that Ark had a way better taming system then what i see here. I do see what they are trying to accomplish but there should be a way to "tie down" the tame or something like that instead of having to chase it all over hells half acre to bola it if you don't have a taming pen or are somewhere that you can not build one.

You'd be spawned into the middle of the ocean with Wolf Sharks that surf over to you and one shot you, or loaded into a freeport where you literally can't move 1". Note: Yes "wolf sharks." Wolves that surf on top the water lol

Right now it feels like I'm sailing forever, literally forever, I sail from grid to grid to find a suitable island of decent size to build my home that has decent resources etc etc, however they're all small and on every grid it either has a lion, wolf, tiger, cobra, bear so 80% of the time you're going to get mauled by one of these which sucks, which makes the game somewhat less fun.
  15. Dude seriously, @eeeceee To OPs original point i prefer PvP as a lone wolf OR a tightly knit Spec Ops style (I'm a vet remember?). It's just barely feasable in the current game model. Didn't start barreling ships RPK style so maybe its more feasible now, dunno tho.. Smashing the PvP community into a smaller sandbox will result into the following cycle: Megas will eat all the sheep. Then they'll begin eating eachother.. At which point they'll be forced into choices.. 1.Cater to the sheep to gain an advantage 2.Let the server go dark from boredom proving flawed modeling 3. Hold hands and have pre agreed staged battles, which will result in winners and losers. Animosity possibly ensues and choices 1 & 2 are on the table again along w some high stakes intrigue. Dunno just pokin around for fun but i found minimal enjoyment playing PvP this season. I don't mind living on a Megas island and paying some taxes as long as they're clear I'm not their bitch. Point is have some drama in a PvP MMO, or don't, ...just knock it off with this middle of the road shit

As of now: 10 Sept 2020, I'm finding the flintlock pistols to be very effective on low level passive mobs and even many of the mid-tier and aggressive mobs.I have taken out a dozen or more wolves with single headshots. The trick is to use only one pistol instead of dual wielding, aim and wait till he is close = 271 damage quite often. That is with a common pistol. The faster more aggressive mobs are of course much more difficult to kill in the first place (assuming no beast to help). But, if memory serves I've killed a fair number of tigers and lions too. If they surprise you in the brush, you're probably farked, but if you can retreat to a safe vantage where they are slowed down or just cannot reach you, you can definitely kill them with one or two headshots. An alpha cobra required that I expend and reload all six pistols twice! Have not used the carbine yet, but I understand it does a lot more headshot so should be fun. Now then, it seems to be a very different story with the Army of the Dead Guys at treasure spawns. The archers aren't too bad: one or two shots, but the swordsmen are ridiculous. Headshots doing 8 damage. I had to pull out the sword and shield, but that luckily took them out handily. I'm not so sure their current system is satisfactory in that last point: the whole point of firearms in their early stages was to counter heavily armored mounted personnel (as well as to add a new kind of shock and attrition effect for pike and shot formations. The hydra seems to be a smaller caliber (which makes sense), but I think the flintlock damage to a good headshot on a Dead Guy Soldier shouldn't be 2.9% of the effect on a wolf or other unarmored foe; that just seems ridiculous, especially when the sword wiped him out in a couple swipes. If it were some kind of magical resistance then you'd expect the sword to be equally as ineffective as the pistol. My hunch is: the devs and many in this community like to ride beasts and that seems to be the meta on how to farm treasure spawns: ride a bear . . . bring your bears . . . or even, bring a platoon of pigs . . . Meh. I doesn't bug me that beasts are in the game nor that they are so useful and effective. But when they seem to be the only or best method for coping with mid or high-level treasure spawns and pistols seem to be stupidly nerfed under the guise of "armor resistance" it irks me. ADDIT: I mean . . . look at the fricking image used to promote the game! (scroll to top of this web page). Crusty dude and boisterous babe apparently going to duel it out, with swords or pistols it looks like. I don't see no god damn lions, nor tigers, nor bears in that image. But I sure see my buddies using those damn things constantly. I kinda wanted more what image shows I guess. Not to say: take the animals out, but some balance to make the animals just ONE of several possible pathways to close combat infantry engagement mastery would be nice.
  17. wolf for look - its really bad elsewise, other then kera farm tiger for farm/fight lion for speed Tiger has most hp and highest weight. All meat eaters are equaly stam starved. People compare good bears to wild lowlevel tiger. If you ever used a beast tiger, there is no way back to a bear. You need to be creative with the low weight tho.

  19. I already lost 4 horses in a row because of this bug. After I bola the horse and on my wolf mount. When the Bola breaks. Being on the side of the horse will glitch it out of the game and gone forever. Please fix this since I don't want to tame the horses to glitch out half way taming.
  20. Sorry to digress but my solution for annoying snakes at my base was guard dogs.. Wasn't perfect, sometimes alpha snakes killed them, had to reposition them etc however since they fed off the snakes it offered a less time intensive solution than puckle or swivel. Sometimes id place a bear just ahead to tank. Built an open trapping shooner and a ramp in polar and kited around 15 wolves off the cliff, into the ship taming as i went. (Sidenote just remember to put a backboard opposite of the ramp or the wolf will fly over your ship like superman..) When i finally had high hp wolves 6-10 gave a decent semi-circle of protection around the area, just keep them in pairs After that, heavy snake infestations were less annoying and even borderline profitable by reducing meat runs..
  21. 1. Some obvious cliffs and steep dropoffs that USED to be gentle slopes still have the collision detection for the slope instead of the dropoff. Player can walk down an invisible slop when they should be falling2. ALOT of the decorative ground clutter, some trees and other gathering points are floating in mid air well above the ground3. Water barrel seems to infrequently delete the water within all at once (No, nobody is stealing it) This mainly seems to occur if you fill a barrel with ground water and then rains adds to it4. This is kind of a big one, but gathering points/mining nodes are giving the wrong resources.Example, Quartz (Crystal) nodes are now giving Garnet (Gems), Silver nodes are giving Iridium instead, some mining nodes will not respond to being hit (stone flakes off, but node doesn't break and no resources are gathered), Wheat is giving Licorice 5. Animals are spawning on top of mountain and inside POIs (Example, platform with walls high up on a stature had 2 lions while another had a horse, sheep, and pig)6. The melee damage from tools to structures is INSANELY higher. i.e. metal axe used to do about 15-16 per hit to a large wooden storage, now it does 55-56 per! This will break raiding and pvp pretty badly if its not fixed7. Animal hit boxes are messed up, at least for arrows. I've shot a bear, two chickens and a wolf with my bow and the arrows stuck in them, they showed signs of being wounded, but they didn't react, took no damage and wandered around with my arrows stuck inside them.8. Fiber is very weird right now. certain areas have none while some have an OVER abundance (in 3 minutes of farming I had SEVERAL full stacks of cotton) 9. Crystal is now almost non existant unless you go to a freeport for the generic stuff, and half the time some d-bag will try to follow you out of the freeport for it 10. Turn off the ability for other players to loot bodies in freeport! If we can't pvp there, we shouldn't be able to loot each other either. I was killed by a bear that a player aggro'd to me (see next point) and immediately after, that player looted all of my gear from my corpse. 11. Stop animals from attacking people that did not aggro them in the Freeports. This is a huge griefer ability. You can aggro say a bear then outrun it pas another player, at which point the bear goes after them. Aggro'd animals that are normally docile will attack everything human around them, whether you are in the same company or enemies.I'll keep adding as I experience stuff that may still pop up.

This thread is not about taming is broken or taming sucks or tames cant live, etc. Its for those of us working with the system and trying to improve it, and those who want more information about tames. #1 Taming Change Needed IMHO: Riding skills should be separate branch of the tree. Its stupid that for riding 2 you need taming 1 and breeding 1 (and commands 1 but not commands 2). For riding 3 you need taming 2 and breeding 2 (and commands 2 but not commands 3). You shoudnt need to know how to breed or tame to ride. (you can make an argument for needing commands, but even then, because i can ride a pet shouldnt require me to be able to whistle it about to attack/follow/stay put, etc). Move riding to the survival tree. Onto pets... For me the must haves are: Bear - Probably the most useful tame to have. Now that you dont need honey to get it, its even easier. It solves all your fiber and berry/vegetable needs. It can haul a cargo wagon around to move a cannon somewhere to assault something (if thats your thing). Its a fairly decent fighter. Really good as a pack horse for other gathering people or animals. Should be gotten as soon as possible. Elephant - Solves your wood issues. Hauls a lot. Decent fighter, less than bear. Can seat 3 people, the two on the sides can fire weapons while mounted on it. Rhino - Solves your stone and metal (if metal node) problems. Fun to get a head of steam on. Little pesky to tame as they seem to resent it. Ostrich - Fastest land mount. Mine can sprint for 4 minutes (timed) without stopping and nothing on land can catch it. Not great for much else, but love it for getting around Tiger - Solves your meat and fish needs (can kill most fish in 1-2 hits). Fast mount, great fighter, bleed attacks allow for hit and run if you want. Nice leaps too. Cute when you level it up. Other pet notes FYI Giraffe - Almost as fast as Ostrich. Can seat 2 people. Can run in water where other animals or you would be swimming. Wolf - Almost as good as tiger, no bleed attack, but i do think it still gets a pack bonus if you have multiple ones. Good for meat and only tier 2 so less points needed than tiger. Parrot - Easy to tame inside cage. Gives fortitude bonus based on its level Monkey - Gives a Heal over Time buff, and who doesn't love to throw poop at people. Easy tame Crow - Gives an intelligence buff, tame like parrot. Chicken for eggs, Cow for milk - Able to cook some decent food (and hopefully more recipes as time goes on) Just my thoughts, ill answer questions if i know em....
  23. How is an island determined by the level of an animal on that island? If you place Cay_K_TR_E what in the game determines that the animals on that island won't kill you or the fact the a wolf isn't on that island when you first start? All well and good just placing islands down but how do you know what animals are on what islands without physically going to those islands?
  24. Has anyone figured out how to select a different Tame Group? We have a keybinding to add/remove targets from the current tame group, we have a radial menu option on our tames to modify and sort them into different groups, but I can't figure out how to actually switch to a different tame group for my whistles. In ARK, it was 0 - 9 on the numpad, but that no longer works. I'd really like to be able to use group whistles with my wolf pack, without telling all of my other tames to "go attack that thing", as well.

If there exist an error in the chart let me know and I will fix it. They do not update the dev kit regularly so this information might be a little off. If the table displays anything other than Yes in a column then it can only be mated in that exact volume(i.e. Mountain peak would mean Eastern Temperate Mountain Peak, for the Razortooth). Edit* As I got this information from the most current dev kit version(V100), They have since "- Updated creature breeding biome tags so that creatures can always be bred in biomes they're found in(V101.1)". When the dev kit is further updated I will amend the chart to reflect the new zones.
