  2. My fellow beast masters and I would love to have a way to secure animals onto our ships. Leashes that temporarily convert our animals into ship parts might be nice. Then it could lock them in place and basically put them in stasis-state server memory until they are unleashed. Their 3d model would basically become furniture. Or any other way to prevent the visual glitching and loss at sea of our beloved tames. Thanks!
  3. Yes, that was my point. 35 is within the real of not obliterating reality. And it means the in-game speeds are *all* supposed to be within the realm of reality-ish-ness. Lol. Real-ISM -ISTIC, not real. Game. But not flying in the face of reality. They are reporting as speed in knots what is not speed in knots. I am certain it is a bug. And this is the bug reports forum. Wee! So if a devs sees it and thinks, 'Hey, that guy's math looks pretty convincing, so maybe Math-idiot-coder-boy was wrong about that code, so let's check it,' THEN I've done my job here. Just fix it. It's math. Verifiable. Calculable. Codable. Fixable. Agreed upon among intelligent creatures galaxy-wide (I assume lol hehe). So fix it. Please.
  4. The speeds reported on the sextant are a fraction of the real speeds. And the speed of a sprinting human is pretty realistic. And that's a pretty easy comparison to make. A decent running speed for a real human is around 24 KPH, with sprint records above 44 KPH. My dude in Atlas runs at 35 KPH until his stamina runs out. And the game isn't exaggerating the ship speeds. It is underreporting them. Vastly.
  5. Yes this is a very annoying bug that's been there a long time. Please fix. As a note, turn off folder view. Then you can see the stuff. But when being ganked it's not easy to be calm and click interface stuff to run in and get your stuff.
  6. Sorry but they did that on purpose. "- Redesign: Squads (Ship) of the Damned will now come in multiple size variations with different stats and difficulty levels." From v100.1 New Features and Content At
  7. Either that or the in-game distance measurements for map markers active on the sextant are totally wrong. Or the math is totally wrong. From: https://atlas.gamepedia.com/In-game_speed_testing#Ship_Speeds Ship Sails Wind Wt* Dist (m) Secs ㎧ KPH MPH Knots Sextant Off by Galleon 6 Large Heavy / Side 48% 1000 35 29 103 64 56 16.5 kn 70.5% *Wt=Weight percentage of maximum So in the chart the sextant says 16.5+- knots but the time to cover 1 km says otherwise. Here's the math: Distance (m) Time (s) ㎧: KPH: MPH: Knots: 1000 55 =A2/B2 =C2*3.6 =D2*0.621371 =D2*0.539957 So it's converting m/s to KPH at *3.6 per and converting knots from KPH at 0.539957 So where is the error? Place a map marker and activate it on the sextant. Get up to speed. Mark down the current distance from the map marker and start a stopwatch. Go 1000 meters. Stop the stopwatch. Testing my galleon just now it took 42 seconds. During the test the knots display said ~13.5 knots. A 42-second kilometer is 24 m/s. A 42-second kilometer is 86 KPH. 86 KPH is 46 knots. So either the distance display or the speed display are *way* off. Which is it?
  8. If you could center it vertically on the animal would be great. It's *almost* impossible to find an angle to see the current maturation. Un-Edit: Also, maybe give them a cuddle period they can fit into. I'd love to get some bonus stats on these things. Um, oops. Check the maturation window I was trying to read and you can see why I misread it. Lol.
  9. I've cleared out all the AofD dudes three times and I think one is falling out of the map when they spawn.
  10. The Quest Skills take the place where the Tarot tree was in my client. Is this a bug or a feature? I am not a fan of non-sci-fi junk. I imagine I'm in the minority. But I'd be able to convince more of my (adult like me and friends of scientific rather than fantastical thinking) friends to play if it's not coming to the game. Anyone know?
  11. It's been in a lot of games I've played. I prefer full-screen mode when in danger and windowed mode when traveling. This allows me to do other stuff in small windows while traveling but still leave the margins showing the game window so I know if I need to dodge Ships of the Damned or make course corrections. It would be nice to have a hotkey to switch.
  12. I am trying to figure out how to keep the frame rate up where it doesn't nauseate me with stu-stu-stuttering visuals and I can't seem to keep these turned off. If I reopen the options in game, at the main menu or after restarting the client, they are turned back on each time.
