Firstly, to the devs - you have made a good(ish) game - I have put 376 hours into the game already Now, i came here due to the marketing and advertising and references to the similarities of what this game is compared to EvE, and how it rivals EvE... After 376 hours, I can safely say, It is nothing like EvE, It never will be, this was false advertising/marketing at a seriously bad level... There is no economy, no market, no "Safe hubs", timers are seriously way over-timed, You don't have too much of a reason to go out and exxplore, it is forced gameplay to the point, where you literally cannot play the game how you want due to devs introducing permanent stat debuffs unless you go and do something, Age is completly screwed - In 1 month I have aged 100 years, The lack of player choice is somewhat blatantly in the face but disguised due to "The freedom to move around" - The building placements next to enemy territory, all well and good, but now I can lliterally place a cannon 8 steps away from someones building... I don't even need to think how to attack a group, I can do it solo, Just wait untill the players are asleep and then attack, 1 cannon, 50 - 100 rounds... There is no reason to group up, if you do your skill tree right you can literally have armour, cannons, etc to be able to attack ON YOUR OWN... There is no thought of consequences, 90% of the time if your not in a big group you will be grindingg 100% of the time... Fire arrows are ridiculously nerfed, 10 shots and a bow breaks with fire arrows... Its fire and cant even burn through wood without 400+ arrows being fired at it... All I see is another Ark game, falsely advertised, wrongly marketed, painted with pirates.... I am dis-appointed that I was lured here under false pretenses - The whole "Define your own character" stuff is rubbish, I age 100 years every month.... then get perma de-buff stats unless I ggo to the FOY, which I will have to do every time, just to ensure my character is not weaker than everyone else... Just to be "Normal", How can mercenaries work, when it is too easy for everyone to get the best stuff within 1 week of game time... EvE literally takes 6 - 8months to get anywhere near competitive at PvP... I am not saying the game should go full swing EvE... But it certainly HAS to turn away from ARK... This whole 18 hour rubbish to capture a ship is ridiculous... Even if everyone is dead.... There is no incentive to be a mercenary, a Pirate etc - Sure its fun going round blowing up peoples stuff, but you are building a perma grind game for all the solo players/ small groups, you are catering to the carebears of PvP world who lets face it dont have what it takes to play a game with half a brain, there is no incentives for anyone to do anything other than "Build, Build Build"... Oh apart from the forced gameplay... There is no diplomacy here, Racism is far too rife in the community, All I see is weapons getting weaker, tames getting weaker, buildings getting weaker but harder to build.... Griefingg is a serious issue, a serious issue.... But you guys don''t care... You wont divide the map to safe portions etc... you wont merge the PvP and PvE servers and just make the map 4 times bigger... You wont spread the resources proportionately.... There are currently 4 ships, and all are about the same in ease of sinking - There isn't a reason to build a galleon when it can be sunk as quick as a brig, by a brig with 30 spare planks on etc... There is rarely any PvP on the server its more PVsleeping raids.... I'm writing this, because after all the game time I have put in - I am extremely let down by the ggame, It is literally one big rip off of Ark, painted and sugar coated, and at this point, I think it might be wise if the devs / company stepped up and explained to the community exactly where they want this game going... With a solid floor plan of what is expected, and not in one months time for the next update, but for the next two years... where are you taking this ggame? what are you doing with the game? are you continously going to cater to the carebears of PvP.... I would like some sort of answer, as, as stated I was lured hear under false pretenses and marketing, The game is good, but it is not at all why I came here and has left me feeling very disappointed and mugged off, kinda like asking for a mint choc chip ice cream and given a cabbage on a stick with a bit of mud....

I dont know of anyone who doesnt hate the current cyclone mechanic. It is not exciting, it is not even dangerous if you choose to play it, its just tedious, and its every single time it rains. There should 100% just be normal big wave storms that reduce visibility, maybe do the cold thing, but most of all, just rain at sea. Suggested fix: Cyclones should be their own uncommon weather event that wanders across a grid and is visible from a long distance. You can choose to sail around them, or if you choose to go through them, then you have to be repairing the entire time you are inside the system.

If the Fountain of Youth holds to a 5 hour per island rotation (let me know if that is fact, because I only just randomly read it somewhere else), then: Location: It is the same location on every Official Server (PVE and PVP) 29-01-2019 - UTC F8: 06:00 - 11:00 G3: 11:01 - 16:00 H6: 16:01 - 21:00 M12: 21:01 - 02:00 (30-01-2019) (Apologies if my times are off by any amount.)

This is why I believe not all griefing, but incidents like this, where someone has obviously willfully invested a large amount of time for no reason other than to destroy someone else's fun, should be seriously considered for immediate permanent game ban. What this person has just demonstrated is that ruining other people's experience is a high enough priority to them to invest an amount of time and energy most consider significant into an activity that is directly harmful to the game experience. That core mindset is unlikely to be altered through temporary punishment, and removal is likely the only actual fix.

Those streams makes it abundently clear that even the devs have no long term roadmap, they have zero direction and apparently most changes are up to whatever they feel like at the next meeting...

The majority of people live and exist on lawless, claimable islands are ghost towns. And you want to punish 70% of the player base? Stop trying to make people quit, enough have quit already.

If this actually is the case (I don't think it is) then it was folly from the beginning. Why would ANYONE seek to emulate early 2002-2004 EVE online? CCP Took years to refine EVE's mechanics. Do you remember how overpowered AOE Doomsdays were back in the Band of Brothers days? Do you remember the Gypsy Band 150-man stealth bomber fleets that would just bomb triage carriers and their entire fleet off the grid? People used to freak out over how "unfair" the game could be. Those tactics aren't even off the table to this day... people just slowly realized that they needed to react faster, they needed more competent FC's, better doctrines, better intel, capital support, yadda yadda. I come from massive null sec groups (n3), and later on in wormholes, NoHo. I very much agree with the OP. I played EVE for 14 years and I immediately saw tons of parallels in Atlas. At the core concept, Atlas is very much a game hand-in-hand with EVE online. The emphasis on working together, working smarter instead of harder, and shaping a section of the map (0.0) to your needs and wants, carving out a path as you roam through grids neighboring freeports... It's got a lot of eve-style gameplay to offer. The problem, as the OP said, is that the execution falls on its face. EVE established Sov mechanics so that groups in totally opposing timezones could still have an opportunity for a fair fight. If I go through the added effort to NOT sink an enemy ship and actually board it instead, clear the entire crew and destroy the beds.... I still have to wait into tomorrow to claim that ship. While it decays, gets hit by storms, possibly just sunk out of boredom from passer-bys, etc... and odds are I'm going to sail away, so if NONE of that happens, why the absolute shit would I stick around doing NOTHING for 13-17 hours on an empty ship?! I could go solo-build whatever the hell I'm claiming in that amount of time (except a galleon obv). It's a joke to even consider ACTUALLY pirating enemy ships. The only real viable option is to just sink everything you can and either A) loot it from the sea floor, have fun (it's not fun) or B) don't loot a damn thing because it's boring and you can just hand-farm that garbage anyway... The meta right now is an lame joke. There's no incentive to sail around on ships. I see people having more fun building them and painting them than they actually do sailing them, because they never leave the fucking dock half the time. Offline raids are literally everything in this game right now. How you do the raid, I don't even care. Dragon? Whatever. Galleon with 20 large cannons on the back? Sure, 99 china boys love running around zerging anything and everything while 1 china boy TNT's every structure he can find. Bear carts with swivel cannons? Lmfao seems absolutely legitimate! Let me rubberband every 5.5 seconds so that the NPC on the cart just gets a free 1-shot kill on me, no big deal. Whatever, I'm sick of typing. This game has become NOTHING like what it was made out to be. Yeah, sure, the bare-bones content is there for whatever they thought they were making? Some kind of MMO hardcore Pirate game? That's a bunch of bullshit when it's all said and done though, because at the core, this is just another Minecraft simulator where all the carrots are dangled in front of you to try and squeeze content from the game, but the real meat and potatoes is just endlessly gathering and crafting. I'm a stubborn jerk and I am still playing the game with a twinge of anger and frustration that only serves to motivate me to be a terrible, callous pirate. But, if I had to review this game right now and make it sink or swim, I'd call this game a joke. Early Access isn't a broad enough alibi to excuse missing the mark this badly.

This morning only 3 people of the company Chen B attacked us with three dragons. The problem, that the developers should attend, is that they put the heads of the dragons inside the structures (crossing the stone walls) and with the flames destroyed the chests, box, animals, ... from inside base and and it seems that the dragon steals the objects directly from our dead bodies. And how can we kill a dragon, the ballista is useless against her?, the speed of her projectile is too slow Apart from this, a player of the company Chen B, we believe that he used cheats because he always found the players, even if they hide themselves and killed them with a headshot being in movement or behind walls. Ships in Atlas are just getting more and more ugly, and as a matter of fact, unseaworthy. Some of the ships we see going out would "turtle" (roll upside down) at the first strong wind. Others would move at a snails pace due to the surface area being presented to the wind above the deck line. Yes, its awesome we can build interesting designs, but lets keep that to cabins and below deck, not these god awful monstrosities we see on the sea now that would never sail in real life given the technology of the time. At least penalize folks if they want to build a wall 3 high of 30 large cannons all on one side of the ship, all well above the water line.

I am enjoying the game. I love building and sailing ships. But yeah...it's not even close to EVE. I've lost ships in EVE due to being reckless or not paying attention to who was in the area, but I never lost one just from being offline. And don't get me started on the naked geriatric pilgrimage. The resource allocation looks like they are trying to encourage ship transport, but it isn't fully baked yet. It is still very early EA, but they have a long way to go to capture the spirit of EVE, if that is what they are going for. It is very ARK, which is fine, but yeah - they shouldn't compare it to EVE then.

Lions of the North (NA PvE) (most buildings were made by me, harvesting mats included) Welcome to Lion's Gate weary traveler! let me show you around. The settlement has a long story about how it came to be, which involves many trials and dangers. On a cold night where the winds blew harsh and in a northern direction, a lone dwarf had braved the seas and arrived to a seemingly uninhabited island. It was during these cold nights where wolves would roam close to his campfires in the hopes of catching him off-guard for a quick meal. It was then, that the dwarf raised a flag to claim the area as his own and erected the first structure that would act as the foundation for the would-be settlement. Soon, more travelers arrived, and the small house was crowded with hungry people who had joined the dwarf in his efforts to establish a lasting foothold and to build a small society on this distant island to the North. It wasn't long before a barracks was erected in order to house the new people. The barracks quickly became too small, so the growing collective constructed a tavern that could also be used as temporary housing. The tavern has been re-modeled and expanded over time, where the ground floor originally contained temporary work stations and storage for crafting materials. (Tavern by Hawkeye with added support from rest of group) Wild predators still roamed the island, and the inhabitants were struggling to deal with the constant threat of being overrun in the night. In order to protect the village, the dwarf imitated construction of a stone wall that would circle around the entire village. Some of the structures on the wall are still under construction, but at least the village has been completely surrounded by a protective barrier. In order to make construction of the wall easier, a small construction shack was established down the shore. To further combat the rampant wildlife, the villagers erected traps outside the wall, and also erected taming pens into the design in an attempt at making use of the wild creatures. The taming pens are completely indoors, with 3 gates that could be used to sluice in the animals to first capture them, while also protecting them and their tamers from outside dangers. There are multiple access points, so that the tamers can do what they must at a safe distance. Capturing all these animals, meant that there was now need for a barn. The barn has also been re-modeled a few times, as it eventually got too crowded and was rebuilt to make better use of the space. As timed passed, more room for tamed creatures was needed, so an indoor stable designed for low fast mounts was created. The building has 2 levels that can fit a good amount of creatures, with multiple access points for moving creatures around. Slowly, the community had grown into a small village. Trade was establish with incoming trade ships, and alliances had been forged with other inhabitants on the island. At this point, it was clear that a warehouse had to be built in order to accommodate the many goods going in and out of the port. The harbor area was also extended in order to have extra room for visiting guests. In order to safely enclose the larger animals such as elephants and giraffes, an annex was built along the wall with an elevator system that can get the creatures over the wall from the outside. On top of that, the village center was adorned with a bank and town square. At the pedestal in the center, an ancient tale was carved into the stone as a tale for future generations. The warehouse was quickly filling up with ancient texts describing ways of crafting better equipment and structures, so a library was established. The structure now holds invaluable knowledge of the past, and will hopefully serve future generations. After an agreement with another company on the island, a mountain pathway was built on the side of the mountain facing towards the village. The pathway also lead to the creation of a lighthouse that would overlook the village and their nearby allies in order to safely guide ships into port during foggy weather. Eventually, the company merged with several companies on the same island, and expanded to the polar regions The fleet There are now many ships in the Lions of the North fleet. Some of them adorn sails that were handcrafted for the individual ship. Lion's Roar: built by the company, painted by me. Unfortunately, we the original red dye on the sails would tint the applied paint, so unless replaced, the colors will stay oversaturated with red. Lion Heart: built and painted by company, sails by me Rogue: built and painted by Serafina, sail design by me High Tide: built and painted by Vopee, sails by me Leon Dorado: built and painted by Jack Herrer, sails by me Blazerunner: built and painted by me rear access upper cabin lower deck funky stair and wall setup to include diving platform Bonus The breeders house (built by Vopee) un-used sail design shore overlooking harbor downtown aerial Tropical getaway (house built by Serafina, wall by me)

Hello fellow pirates, After almost 200 hours playing this "game" my schooner sunk alongside with my patience. I was saying to everyone "the game sucks in terms of development but it is fun to play you should get it" but after spending this much time in the game and looking back this game is nothing more than frustration after frustration. Let's start from the beginning, first off all it took ages to find a place to set up base and by base I mean, 1 Flag radius. After that we started our galleon which took ages to build but that's besides the point, took it to the sea and lost it because we died at the same time and couldn't spawn inside the ship while we were being attacked by a SoD ship. My question is, how the hell the most basic stuff is not working properly, THE SPAWN! Moving forward, we sucked it up and decided not to waste time on a galleon and get a schooner for each member. We built 2 schooners initially, one of them lasted 2 days, until we tried to get a purple chest, lowered the anchor the ship glitched out and sunk. Once again, we were kinda "fuck it, its a schooner, we can build another one relatively fast". In the meantime we built 3 more schooners, today one of them sunk again. Why? Well, was doing the farming run, was about to drop the wood inside the chest and got stuck in between to planks, super frustrated accidentally removed a plank from the ship, guess what, because I was stuck couldn't repair it and another schooner sunk. And this is just the adventure regarding ships, there is plenty more in those 200 hours, like being stuck in pretty much every single asset in this game, stuck on doors, stuck on gates, stuck inside animals, stuck on ladders, stuck on ships, stuck between trees, being attacked for alphas because (horses, rabbits for example) walk against you, get upset, and kill you, animals stuck on ships, like yesterday took us almost 15 minutes to get rid of our elephant stuck on one of our schooners the list goes on and on. Please don't be a fan boy and don't come here saying "Oh its in alpha/beta, blah blah blah" that's shit, the game is broken, the most fundamental stuff doesn't work. I bought this game because it has potential, IT DOES, but not the way the dev team does stuff. Instead of fixing the game's core, and by that I mean for example collisions, they are worried about stone walls, krakens and shit when 70% of the player base can't even do the first power stone due the ridiculous amount of animals on the islands. I am not one to criticise without trying to help so there is a list of things you should consider fixing before changing "Stone Walls" - Make the power stone islands hard but challenging a) Reduce the amount of creatures | b) Lower their levels c) get rid of that BS (creatures) all together and incorporate the treasure hunting into that. Like find a set of keys to open the door for hydra and the hydra will give you the power stone itself. - Sort out the cluster fuck the FoY / Power Stone island is a) fast decay on anchored ships for example would prevent people from leaving the ships there, causing a massive lag and frame drops to others who are trying to reach the FoY / PS - Sort out the claiming situation, because it is absolutely atrocious. a 15*15 grid = 255 Sectors * 4 Islands each sector = 900 Islands to claim (I know this number isn't real because you have free ports, lawless zones, PS islands and sectors with less than 4 islands) How are you going to have space even for 5K players? - Food / Drinks / Vitamins Mechanics a) get rid of it because everyone rather die than care about the broken mechanics. b) find a way to make it worthwhile to care about, for example giving small boosts of speed, damage or whatever when you have the vitamins at certain levels or whatever. - Alphas, completely useless. The game does not need alphas period. Last but not least, make your devs play the game, because most of this stuff would be fixed already if you guys played your own game for a couple hours. I would like to say it was a good experience and I/we (my company) will be back, but it wasn't and not sure if we will come back, things need to change a lot and the dev team needs to start working on meaningful stuff alongside balancing whats already in game. Best Regards NesquickPT

EDIT : https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1646246826 Hi, to my first mod I decide to make an indiaman ship. For exemple, the BlackPearl and the Queen Anne's Revenge from Pirates of the Caribbean are two Indiamen. Here is a description : Current Stats : 3 upper decks 2 lower decks 38 canons max (2 in the bow of the ship, 24 at lower decks and 12 at upper decks) Captain's cabin (with windows) Smaller than a galleon, but bigger than a brigantine Sail units : N/A What the mod will add? Indiaman ship New figurehead More to come I’m modeling the ship si it's not ready at all, but I can show you some screenshots of my work. ! STILL IN DEVELOPMENT !

So last night I set myself to the challenge of figuring out what it would take to pacify the golden age ruins at G3 which are necessary for the fountain of youth and turning in the key fragment. The land animal enemy list includes : Giant Scorpions Giant Cobras Rattlesnakes Lions Wolves The water enemy list includes Sharks Manta Rays There is one amphibious creature - the Giant Crocodile One in-shore you have 1 to 2 spawns of undead, and then fire elementals. I've run this gauntlet naked probably 30 times? On the 31st time I got the fountain and never looked back until my woman had to do it. She's not the sort to make this futile run 30 times in a row, and neither are a lot of people judging from how many people in my own company quit coincidentally after getting to 100 and then not levelling anymore. I decided to set my mind on solving the problem, so I looked at sloops people had built all over the game and settled on one that I saw built by one of the guys from the streamer Sirslaw's old alliance - don't remember their name but they had very creative ships. I scavenged up shipwrecks, stole a real sloop and built up a little fighting platform. It's a nice roomy setup, I love how it ends up working out. I put a forge on the top, and smelted enough ingots for some different weapons - cannon and balista, and tested them out. Turns out the balista is a great anti-creature weapon. 1-2 shots the big monsters. It took me about 45 minutes to clear all of the creature spawns on the beach on foot using bow. Lions and wolves you can train into the water and kill, crocs, rattlesnakes, cobras, and scorps you can kite on land and kill. Once I had cleared the beach, the next challege was undead spawning in the valley but those turned out to be easy with bow headshots. I started out solo, but then some brazilian guy from a company I don't recognize started helping and just the two of us cleared the whole valley up to the fire elementals. Once the beach and valley were clear, people were able to run in to the powerstone podium trivially. The bats were still there but they didn't stop people from clicking on it. So there you go. You can fight the mobs, they are easy to kill with even a regular bow. Also, it's disappointing that I was there for 5 hours doing this and not a single person confronted me in PVP. I would have loved some fighting. blackjack and handcuffs were ready for them. The minute I went offline someone picked the boat down and sank it. That right there is the state of atlas. Cowardly little shits.

Team ANK You are only a liar first video your arrival you use a bug exploit yes it's a bug because your name is not displayed in the log during the destruction Since your arrival you destroyed at least 10 boats including mine 2 sloop and 1 schooner I did not do anything but you came across the wrong person I am resentful at the extreme so my response to your fraudulent attacks you ruin the soul of the game by your use of bugs to your advantage and you are afraid to go pvp because the riposte will be too strong for your little heart. Last thing your answer in my very small castle you copied on me no personality

cyclones are the worst part of the game right now. they should exist as storm systems that move independantly of players rather than the "spawn on players" model. and they should be rare, not guarenteed.

This is the most long-winded attempt to grossly oversimply and justify poor game mechanics that I've seen in a while. Congratulations on the most verbose hyperbole anyone has created in one post. No one is asking for things just to be handed to them. Way to miss the point. But that's OK, go ahead and white knight the developers that are doing a bad job. Tell them their convoluted and warped game mechanics are perfect and hemorrhaging their player base is actually a good thing. And when the game tanks keep telling yourself it's because us complainers are just 'entitled' and just wanted everything handed to them. Now, bully for you that this is your epitome of what a game should be, but some of us have had to struggle for things in real life and would like a game that distracts us from our problems, not one that imitates what we're trying to get away from or makes things worse. Games are, in my opinion, supposed to be fun. And there's a whole lot here that isn't.

Probably one reason lawless is so popular is there's no incentive to live on some company's claimed land and pay taxes when you can get the same resources on a lawless island without the 30% penalty. (If companies would let people live on their land in the first place... on PvP they're all really hostile)

Lawless beds are a really nice change. If I had my way I'd actually add more lawless zones
  21. 3 points
Now it gives solo / small tribes a chance. your ship was constantly sunk on lawless area along with ur bed. Now you dont have to spawn in freeport to make a sloop / raft just to get back to your base if you live in lawless area.

Buy orders are THE MECHANISM which makes Eve’s economy superior to all other gaming economies. If Atlas’s devs are serious about creating an Eve like economy eventually, it will need to include a buy order mechanism. call them contracts or whatever. Don’t make them remotely fillable the way Eve’s are in order to keep your sailing theme going, but HAVE THEM.

We have tried breeding, numerous times under different conditions and not a single one of them actually work in a form that's reliable. We have been breeding bears on and off for awhile now, Western temperate region where the weather conditions are practically perfect for bears all the time par a heatwave, things were special this time around... our bear gave birth to a 172 female alpha baby bear. on official pve EU, have screenshots for anyone that cares to dispute not sure if bug or intended but thats beside the point, Babys health pool was much larger than every other baby bear we have had, we sit hand feeding it for the first couple of hours and first heatwave hits, goes up to 25, bear starts losing hp but its only around .1 or so every second. temp drops back under 19 babys health stabilizes out and all is fine, another 12 hrs goes by everything is fine, 1st imprint done waiting on 2nd now, i wait for 2nd imprint to be needed tell my company mate that they need to click the bear and proceed to log off, within 5 hours after that 2nd imprint, when the baby should've been even more healthy than prior another heatwave hits, this time the baby is rapidly losing HP around 3hp a second. Baby dies at 40% maturation with 2 imprint buffs to a heatwave it survived at 7%. We have about 8 penguins in that room around the bear and still nothing. Enable different building materials to have different insulation values, ex: Thatch is better at shedding heat during heatwaves, stone is better at holding heat during cold fronts, we still have to have these buildings made, we still have to be online to move the tame to them, this doesn't make it stupidly easy nor does it not make sense, buildings made of different materials in real life have different insulation values, or give us some form of an ice pack we need to craft in the tundra and bring back for cooling our tames down since penguins do not function as an A/C unit like they did in Ark. 20+ hours of dicking around with campfires lost to a 5 minute weather event. Im fine with wasting 50 hours of my life baby sitting that little turd over 2+ days. But if i've met every condition for the baby to survive at a weaker stage in its life. it should be able to survive a heatwave when its health pool is more than double than what it was originally. Throwing buckets of water on it or bringing it to the water does nothing in terms of lowering its temp. Please look into changing this, the longevity of breeding right now is looking dim. Photos are from right after birth, didnt screenshot after imprint but melee was 247% and health was 1.4k at juvi stage after 1 imprint. Benson Barberry Potato Company - D5 EU Sirens Call PvE

I finally figured out how "OceanEpicSpawnEntriesOverrideValues" works and wanted to share my findings with everyone, im going to try to break it down to where anyone can understand it but if you see a way i can in prove it please let me no Im going to start out of by showing you what i call the "framework" of "OceanEpicSpawnEntriesOverrideValues", and try to break it down to the important parts. The only thing you going to have to change in the "framework" will be "MaxDesiredNumEnemiesMultiplier=", this is what controls how many mobs will spawn total (not per mob spawn), per mob spawn is random (example: lets say you have it set to spawn a mermaid, gentle whale, squid and have "MaxDesiredNumEnemiesMultiplier=" set to 10. What will happen is, it many spawn 3 mermaids, 4 squids, 3 whales, randomly and stop spawning, since 3+4+3=10 and you set "MaxDesiredNumEnemiesMultiplier=" to 10, it will stop spawning new mobs from the "OceanEpicSpawnEntriesOverrideValues") Now this is where you get to pick what mobs you want to spawn, to make it easier for everyone im going to list all the spawn that i know of and if i missed one please let me know and ill see it gets added to the list Mean Whale Gentle Whale Squid Mermaid Mean Whale Sea Monster GentleWhale Sea Monster ones you have selected what mobs you want to spawn, replace whats blow with what mobs you want IMPORTANT NOTE: after every mob entry (but the very last one) a "," MUST be added at the end of the entry After you get done, it should look something like this, NOTE the "," that was added at the end of every entry but the last one You just about done, just make it in to one single line of code with no break, example (NPCSpawnEntries=((NPCsToSpawn=(BlueprintGeneratedClass'/Game/Atlas/Creatures/MeanWhale/MeanWhale_Character_BP.MeanWhale_Character_BP_C'),NPCsSpawnOffsets=((X=0.000000,Y=0.000000,Z=-700.000000)),NPCsToSpawnPercentageChance=(1.000000)),(NPCsToSpawn=(BlueprintGeneratedClass'/Game/Atlas/Creatures/Squid/Squid_Character_BP.Squid_Character_BP_C'),NPCsSpawnOffsets=((X=0.000000,Y=0.000000,Z=0.000000)),NPCsToSpawnPercentageChance=(1.000000)),(NPCsToSpawn=(BlueprintGeneratedClass'/Game/Atlas/Creatures/Mermaid/Mermaid_Character_BP.Mermaid_Character_BP_C'),NPCsSpawnOffsets=((X=0.000000,Y=0.000000,Z=0.000000)),NPCsToSpawnPercentageChance=(1.000000))),NPCSpawnLimits=,MaxDesiredNumEnemiesMultiplier=4.000000) And you done just at that code to "OceanEpicSpawnEntriesOverrideValues" with the server editer, and have fun! Lets do some testing, after you add you code to "OceanEpicSpawnEntriesOverrideValues" and gave you server a good reboot, do a wild dino wipe with this command One you entered the command, give it a few min. for everything to re-spawn on the server/grid (this is a per grid command, so you will have to do this on every grid that you want to test that you are running), now lets see if our spawns showed up with the below commands Ones you entered the command (for only the ones you want to test) check the console of that grid, if it found a spawn it will list every spawn of that type thats on the server/grid (so if 4 mermaids was spawn you will see it listed 4 times, and if 0 mermaids was spawned it will show nothing) example below

The Fountain of Youth is a fucking joke.... why make it so damn difficult to get to, you pretty much have to have a lot of people in your crew and you all go there at the same time, well guess what me and my buddy have a life and we are the only 2 in our crew because we don't have time to manage a big ass crew, so we can't even do it with just us because there are so many damn creatures that kill you.

@Jatheish""Old "permanently unlocked" Power Stone Artifacts are removed (it was a bug that they were, some weeks ago, granted as a permanent character default item)"" How many times do you expect players to kill Hydra? Especially in bigger tribes where they have players from different timezones and this over the fact that ruins region has pvp enabled. How do you expect players to kill those insane monsters in the ruins island just to get to the cave? If they get near the cave and die and several monsters are camping the body, yeah RIP the artifact key. How many resources and hours do you expect players to waste over this? The fact that they're even doing this is mainly only for level cap increase and not for the useless taunts. I don't understand what the developers are thinking, please play the PVP servers first before you make these changes, this has always been the problem in ARK aswell, guess nothing was learned. I can probably make alot of valid points about this but i am sooooo annoyed right now (Please just play PVP server and see how hard it is), i tried to be as cordial as possible. PLEASE think this over and change it back and let those who already killed Hydra have the key permanently, maybe make it untradable or something but make it permanent. Or you can just increase the level cap and not force players to do this stuff, just let powerstones only give emotes.

Bleh. I didn’t like it when they made the ships cheaper and I don’t like it now. For me, a galleon should be something special. The cheaper you make it, the more that feeling goes away.

OP made me actually laugh out loud. "Oh man, it took me forever to find a base. We finally placed one flag, and immediately got to work on a Galleon."

So, if a PvE company has a plot of land, and logs off for a few days, that land can be contested because sleeping characters will no longer count as a contest? Meaning, they would log into nothing? I have to be missing something here.

I will say this Jat is very wrong. After the patch my guild heard me say the rates did not feel like they should without the 2x weekend. If more than one person feels that way, then once again wildcard/grapeshot you have failed again. As a rule of thumb with this company I honestly expect every patch to mess something up and with that mentality I am never disappointed. I dream of a game that players don't fear the patch because wildcard/grapeshot is bound to ruin something and make life more difficult for the people that want to have fun.

The problem with cyclones is that they just ruin whatever you are currently doing, and you just have to sail through them for 10 minutes. Fights with SoTD's, hunting flotsam etc. A cyclone starts? Oh well, ten minutes of dodging spouts with nothing to show for it.

Actually, it isn't...everyone expects GM/dev action when the only way to deal with griefers is to grief them back. I had a claim that was only one person in it. They were part of an alliance but had not been active for 3 weeks. I could have taken their claim but they were asleep on board their ship. So what do I do? I overload their ship, sink it, and kill them. Now I throw up my flag. Alliance leader comes over, who owns half the claims on the island mind you and I guess feels like a super cop, and tells me if I start sinking ships of their allies that we are going to have a problem. Ok, want to come to sink my ship by overloading it? Fine, I will go on a shipbuilding hiatus and sink 2 ships of your for every 1 of mine you do. He paused and asked why we did it, I explained to get rid of a 3 week corpse so I could take the land, he kindly pissed off. Stop asking devs to deal with problems for you, stop asking them to remove ways to deal with them and just to deal with them. See someone throwing up pillars, slap a damn buoy near them warning ships passing by. Blockade their coastal claims with a shit ton of sloops...grief them back too. It is the response they don't expect and usually will end up getting bored and quit playing. The more you complain about them and beg for change the more you enable them to keep doing what they are doing.

To me cyclones are the worst part of this game hands down! Not interesting! Not fun! Waste of time! They just stop you from playing the game until they end. They are like the 100 year storm that comes every 20 minutes. Just remove them.

If they just spawned randomly in the sea I would be fine, but the homing mechanic is the problem

I'm all for fixing the mass amount of land and ships that's been left by people who have quit the game, I'm not certain as to how to fix it.. I mean I don't want to lose my stuff that I have because I take a family vacation for two weeks into the mountains where there is no internet, I'm a solo player so it's not like another company member can keep up on maintenance and I can't afford the NPC"s to maintain my ships either. 5 gold to hire them but then you have to have enough to cover the cost by the hour as well. Yeah I know your going to suggest doing more treasure maps cause gold is easy to get.. I haven't been able to solo a treasure map yet. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but dying over and over and trying to run back to get my gear and weapons while the undead just spawn on top of me again isn't something I enjoy doing nor do I have the time to waste doing it. I actually have a job and a family and can't spend hours upon hours doing repeated failures at a attempt to obtain gold to pay for NPC's that I don't actually benefit from. I agree the issues needs addressed but the question is how to address them, how to make it fair for people who can play as much as they want and for those who can't play as much as they want, truck drivers, salesman or anyone who may have to be gone for a week at a time for business purposes, vs the high school kid or stay at home parent or work from home type of people that all enjoy sailing the high seas. I mean no one wants to lose everything they've built and spent hours upon hours building, would you like to lose the things you have ? There needs to be a system setup that does clear up the clutter, the land that was claimed but is no longer in use, the people who started big but decided it wasn't for them and have left the game, the ships that were built in free port that were used to get to land and left behind all need to be addressed. The issue is how do you take into consideration of people who can't log in every day or once a week.. 2 week grace period then rapid decay starts if you haven't been back to the ship or land you own. With so many people who play the game and have quit at different times would that really solve anything, we have more people starting and quitting then we do staying. I make it a point to travel to all my lands and ships each day when I sign on or before I sign off to ensure that I'm able to keep them. I however worry about it when I'm not able to sign on to make sure I keep my claims and ships..

The problem goes both ways. Taxes and neutral claims are both a problem. Neutral claims doesn´t work when the respawn is different from lawless. I have seen multiple islands that is effectively dead eco wise due to a left company that hold it all with neutral flags. Then people come in and build, some just spam foundations and everything is gone. Lawless is no solution either due to the build grief mechanics there as well. But that´s a range setting that could be worked with. Currently none of the 2 systems work, both claimed and lawless areas are broken.

Your forum? Lie. Pride. Stop crying so much? Wrath. Heartlessness. My God...? Name taken in vain. Easy resources? Theft. Sloth. Promote others committing crimes? Unlawful. Ungodly. There is just so much wrong with you. Leave that in the PvP server where it belongs.
