1. Any chance we might increase gold drop rate for SOTD, Shipwrecks, or Flotsom? 2. Any chance we might increase whale/squid spawn rate? Whaling/squidding for gold currently feels too inconsistent. 3. What is crab meat used for?! 4. Can we implement some sort of combat activity short of taking someone's island? I.E. if you successfully attack an enemy island, you can choose to implement a 10% tax for 3 days. 5. Any plans for adding more melee flavor ala Conan Exiles?

I have thousands of hours solo in Ark/Conan Exiles. Joined up with a guild for the first time in about five years in Atlas. Having a lot more fun with that than I thought I would! My advice: Just bite the bullet and join a small guild.

Yes. There are biomes that have thatch nodes near the water, and bears can gather tens of thousands of thatch from them in very short order.
