Cannons manned by NPCs that are set to target Ships Only are not working as intended on PvE. When set to Ships Only, they target and fire at animals, and will fire upon ships belonging to players (doing zero damage). This leads to a massive waste of cannonballs, and also offers people a way to grief companies by simply parking their boat within cannon range until all cannonballs have been wasted. This makes cannon towers protecting one's harbor from ships of the damned completely unfeasible. When set to the 'Ships Only' targeting option, cannons should only be targeting Ships of the Damned and Ghost ships on PvE servers. People are still using SotD to grief other players in the game, and the only real tool we have to do something about it ourselves is not working as intended. Please prioritize fixing this before more ships and bases are lost unnecessarily.

Planet Caladan is a 4x3 PVE Dedicated Atlas Grid. The goal of this grid is to allow a casual PVE and builder experience. The grid is 4x3 and enabled for current PVE end game (Powerstones and Kraken). As the mods become available we may add some for QoL or Cosmetic purposes. I want survival against the environment to be the primary challenge. I don't like extremely high rates, while I like higher rates than official so I can still enjoy the game at a semi-accelerated pace while we all have jobs. My goal is to maintain/adjust as content is released to realize my vision of a PVE cluster. Thus far the tame specific settings are: * EggHatchSpeedMultiplier=15 * BabyMatureSpeedMultiplier=50 Imprinting to full maturation supported. Ship Specifics No config changes at this time for ships - XP cap increased to allow higher levels Mods Cargo Box SPUK Advanced Structures Other Notes: Settings as a whole may be tweaked over time as more .ini options may become available for us to edit (like ship stats), and mods become available. In general, I play through the game and adjust as I deem fit - My philosophy is not to hand myself things on a silver platter, and I like decor mods but disable bits that give advantages against the spirit of PVE. I like things challenging and somewhat harsh, but eventually doable via a single player, so things may be adjusted as I move forward. With ARK, I accomplished this with some boss damage scaling and promoting selective breeding and imprinting to be the mechanism for creating a powerful army for endgame. I'll see how the game evolves over time in Atlas and adjust accordingly. Outside of this, I take a very hands off approach. You want a resource? Go find it. That's how I play it. Between all the biomes and such I think I have everything covered - if necessary I can add an island or two later.

I built a small base not blocking any resources just for them to change the flag status to red causing my base to decay in a few days. I have taming and Piracy. As a pirate, I can make cages, nooses, handcuffs, etc. But the last ability in the Piracy Tree... is USELESS in PVE. How can I claim a ship that I can't even get on? Instead we get the floating "bug" and you can't do anything except die or hope someone grapples you out. Also, having to knock someone out to handcuff them... sure... that's cool. But they can still run away when they wake up. Grappling Hook isn't exactly great looking (or efficient) when dragging someone to a cage or something. Maybe enable the Bludgeon to be able to knock out anyone in PVE (does no damage, just increases Torpor). It would help when trying to arrest and punish bad visitors. But... basically almost the entire Piracy Tree is useless. I have abandoned boats in my Harbor that have been there for weeks and I can't even claim them as a pirate! This needs to be fixed. Especially for PVE. Pirates and Captaineering people should be the only ones that can board/claim ships... While they are anchored. Consider each ship has a flag and there should be an appropriate flag timer. Of course Pirates with the last Skill can declaim faster. This will help fix the abandoned boats issues in PVE without having to wait for 3 weeks of inactivity when it only takes 1 spawn to "reset" it for another 3 weeks. Treat each ship as flags, just like land claims. Pirates can claim ships faster. Cannot be claimed until the flag timer runs down due to inactivity. The more ships the company has, the lower the timer is... just like with land claims as they are now.

Fixed a bug which would cause the activity timer on PvE claimflags to tick into the negatives. Also updated so the timer now displays days, hours, minutes, and seconds.
