I've read a ton of negative reviews so I though I’d share a positive experience with you all concerning the new land claiming update. Call me crazy, but I like the new claim system. I am a small tribe with two “active” players. We managed to get our land and harbor covered, about 1/3 Of a large island, as well as half of a smaller island we need salt for. We new that the update was coming this week so we prepped for it and were pretty successful. I think this system was actually good for small localized companies because we don’t have much land like the larger companies do so we were able to focus our efforts better.

Okay, I'm done. I've been playing this game for a while. Not a huge amount of time, but a year or so. I've introduced friends to this game, because we enjoyed playing it. When I started playing, a small company, or a solo player, or a large company, could all build a ship. Now only the large company can in any reasonable amount of time. When I started playing, PvE combat was bad. It's now just as bad. When I started playing, I enjoyed the game. Now I can't get to the point where I do without using admin commands Remove the F*****G GOLD COST FROM SHIPS You are Hemmoraging players, because you keep making the new player experience WORSE. I get it, pandering to veterans is good to keep your playerbase around. BUT IT WILL NEVER GROW IF PEOPLE CAN'T START THE GAME I'm done. I'm not coming back until you actually listen to your players. Neither are the people I introduced We're done And if you keep this up so are you.

Hello, After the update our private servers reboots constant I tested the following instructions but nothing : "Private Server owners will need to update the ServerGrid.ServerOnly.json file by adding a new entry to the database connections called new TradeDB: { "Name": "TradeDB", "URL": "xxx.x.x.x", "Port": xxxx, "Password": "xxxx" } Replacing the correct url, port, and password for your redis server in the above. It is also necessary to update to the latest ServerGridEditor here and re-export" => I tested a full new server with a new installation, a new map, new database, everything done with the new grideditor but the problem is the same Do you also have this type of problem following the update? Thanks

Anyone having same issues as me as in i cant play at all for more then 3 mins since i update??? An can ya please devs not eat or sleep till this is fixed an i can play ya awesome game again flaws aside its great game an idea but just needs your devotion which im sure after making such a great game for us do have ???? Can we pls get an update soon as..

So there is an update on the Xbox version of Atlas today and just wanted to know if anyone knows the changes? I haven't seen any notes about a new patch anywhere but I'm hoping it fixed some of the things they screwed up on the patch a few days ago, like tames damage..

It would be cool if you would make it possible to save some things beyond the wipe e.g. the following: The character models (to be able to keep one's familiar looks) The XP count (in order to be able to get back to one's "former" level (similar to a respec even if the skill tree has changed) to enable players to rebuild quickly after the wipe(s) without the need to gather XP for hours or even days on end just to be able to craft the items needed to rebuild) The tames (for example by creating locations (e.g. at Freeports) where the former owners of the tames can redeem some kind of token after the wipe which can be used to spawn in their former tames) The ships (for example by creating locations (e.g. at Freeports) where players can sail their ships to to "bottle" them to be able to redeem those "ships in bottles" after the wipe to release them into the ocean again (e.g. somewhat like the Black Pearl in "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides")) Another possibility would be to make it possible to save everything that is transportable for example by adding the new map onto new servers and making it possible to sail from the "old world" (on the current servers) through some kind of portal or something into the "new world" (on the new servers) (and back) for a limited time (a month or so) after which the old/current servers would be fully replaced by the new ones to make it possible to bring ships, tames, resources, blueprints, gold etc. onto the new servers/into the new world.

Dear Devs, Admins pls try to explain me why push an update on Start of the weekend? Why not as other big company Uplay/Ubisoft Paradox and others. They often push update atleast the lastest day midweek. So they have time to hotfix thing so player could have fun playing the games in the weekend? Prably you prefere people run a way and make room for Xbox players, Also like for example Paradox use the beta tab option of steamclient game option to rollback gameversions. So people have choice if patch break the game they stail l can play te revert and go to the last good playble verion. Maybe i am used to game devs/companies they do more care about there customers base and are less greedy to get a piece of The Crossplatform / console playerbase piece of cake and there pocketmoney? They screwed up a lot of MP server / and i doubt there was lots of custermerservice/ technical support standby for the server owners? So why push update mandatory start of the weekend? Singleplayer was recently revealed to be in the Mega Update 3 in Atlas! This is exciting for a lot of people who might want to play on the go on a laptop or just play without the griefing of other players. This is especially exciting for those who love single player games such as Skyrim or singleplayer ARK Survival Evolved. However, a single player can get boring at times due to the lack of other players. I personally love to play with friends but I also have internet that cuts in and out of working properly, so I'm stuck with not touching ATLAS (at least until I fix my router). This singleplayer mode could fix this problem but to make it better I propose that NPCs are added. Now, I'm not talking about the shop keepers, the mindless drones that control your ship, or the ship of the damned, but actual NPCs that walk around, interact with things, etc. This could open many possibilities such as creating your own town, hiring more dynamic characters, and even have other enemies besides the damned. As we saw in the trailer, there was a fist fight between two characters, I believe that this could happen between 2 NPCs or even you and one NPC. This adds more fun that can be beneficial. For example, upon winning the fight, some NPCs watching could go with you to your town and help with everyday tasks. You can assign one to make 100 arrows a day, one to harvest all the crops, and another to patrol around using a ship. This could also make it seem like your world is full of vibrant cultures. When sailing the seas, you could land on an Island and discover a tribe of wild natives, or catch a glimpse of a pirate outpost on the shore. This can open more possibilities for quests and treasure. Pirate ships could also circle around islands that have outposts and can notify you of their presence. (however, approaching them works similar to the ship of the damned). While we don't get much on the single player mode, I would love to see some sort of story that you could follow (and I don't just mean to quests). Upon waking up, there should be NPCs that help you with your journey and teach you the basics of the game. This would be a big improvement compared to the text that appears on the top of your screen. Afterward. you can set out and do whatever you want. When returning to port towns, NPCs can give you hints on tasks you can complete to progress in the story, so it's not a mandatory thing. Author Note: Hey! I'm not the best writer but I think these Ideas would work great in the actual game or as a Mod for singleplayer. If you have any ideas that you would like to add onto this, please comment them!

Logged in after the update 18.75 and cant interact with anything. Animals, doors, ladders, punching wild animals yields no hits, etc. When I relog it just puts me back to spot I originally logged back in on. The wild animals are still moving around and im taking cold damage but no amount of relogs are making me able to interact with anything. Ive verified game files again so that's not the problem. Any suggestions or fixes would be appreciated.

I wonder if anyone can explain a bit more details about the 4 gig patches that contain server config tweaks, minor UI changes, spawn rate adjustments, and balances to certain items. 4 gig is usually the size u get for new animals, new land masses, new ship models maybe. Ragnarok map on ark was massive and was about 3 gig, and since atlas is like 80% open water there can't be that much content pushed that isn't talked about in the patch notes. Even if it is just more detailed patch notes I would appreciate it! I would very much like to know what is being pushed to my computer, thanks!

I haven't been able to install the new patch, there is no option to update the game and i am not able to join official

We have all become aware of the concerns generated by the 7.0 update A lot of information is shared on social networks and various forums related to the game, this topic is there to gather information and feedback from players. First of all I would like to say that we all fallen in love with atlas, and that if the community clings so much despite the shortcomings of the game it is because we all see a huge potential, so I would like this topic to be feebacks about support / solution rather than reproach / problem. Everything started yesterday during the first crash server (L9, C15, E4), some players went to its areas (mostly by boat) and we were disconnected with the impossibility of reconnecting to the game (timeout error) leaving behind them their boats and equipment on a deserted sea... Then the update 7.0 occurred this morning 11a.m (EU), following that the community manager @Jatheish tweeted " Been quite a long day for me, so I'm going to get some sleep and will be back at this again in a few hours. Sorry if I'm unable to reply to each tweet/DM/msg...", which is normal given that the staff worked non-stop to get us out 5 Update in less than 3 days and those during the Christmas holidays, but this break left free rein to the monstrosity brought with the patch 7.0 without answers and actions of the staff, the whole community could only be a spectator of the following points: Boats of the army of the damned have spawned everywhere on the map of the most remote islands at the nearest freeport, destroying at arm's length everything that is bigger than a raft (boats on the sea, under construction or even those blocked on the servers down mentioned above (L9 ect) The extreme redesign of the skilltree not giving any chance to the solo players or even to the small group of players I let you express yourself on the solutions to bring, if other concerns appear I will edit the topic Following communuty feedbacks >

Verzeihung, ich habe ein Problem mit dem Atlas-Server. Ich war gestern in der Gilde BWC einem deutschen Stamm, wie der Server gestern aktualisiert wird. Ich kann mich nicht einloggen: Host Pending Conncention Timeout // Verlorene / Timeout-Verbindung zu Host, ich spawn i3 ohne den Stamm. Mein Name ist im Spiel: Ex Exxetus lvl 18.
