  1. Alliance Chat: Since you are able to create different alliances there should also be a tab or a way to type to each alliance. For example, I currently have 2 alliances that I created. One for my grid (N6 Allies) and one for Trades (Trades). When anyone that is in "Trades" types into alliance chat everyone regardless of what alliance they are in can see. So then everyone in "N6 Allies" is now lost when I reply. Thus only seeing half a conversation. Really what is the point of having multiple alliances if you cant toggle chats with each one? So that you are not confusing other people. There should definitely be some type of toggle to be able to chat to a specific alliance. The whole alliance option is really lacking luster. Alliance Access: There should be a way to allow an ally to use a bed and cannons. For example, I do not always want to take 2 ships to travel for one reason or another. Such as looking for a friendly mermaid. When an ally and I plan a trip together it's super stressful for the one that is not in the company that the ship everyone is on. Say the first mermaid you find is not so nice, and the ship is not in your company so if you die you are done with the trip. That's not fun. That's annoying. When I went with an ally to find a whale. I not only was restricted to one life (ya know if a shark got me or the whale), but I was also unable to use the ballista turret to help take the whale down. I only had my bow and arrows on my person (which did a whopping 22 points of damage per shot). That is also NOT fun. That is also ANNOYING. Either allow an ally to place a bed on an allies foundation or give the option to open a bed to an alliance. With a lock/unlock feature or pin code. This would also only be optimal on a PvE server. Also instead of putting a pin code on everything, you should just be able to have an option to "allow ally access" on a smithy, storage chest, mess table, even tames. A pin code should be for anyone not allied. It's difficult to come up with a pin that everyone knows and can remember. Also not so easy that someone you don't want to open a chest can guess. This would also only be useful on PvE.

  12. Gday guys I really just like taming and have about 8 rhino elephants giraffes and ostrich i normally tame lvl 25+ so they come out 37+ have a few max lvl tames also all 50g per lvl.
  13. Planet Caladan is a 4x3 PVE Dedicated Atlas Grid. The goal of this grid is to allow a casual PVE and builder experience. The grid is 4x3 and enabled for current PVE end game (Powerstones and Kraken). As the mods become available we may add some for QoL or Cosmetic purposes. I want survival against the environment to be the primary challenge. I don't like extremely high rates, while I like higher rates than official so I can still enjoy the game at a semi-accelerated pace while we all have jobs. My goal is to maintain/adjust as content is released to realize my vision of a PVE cluster. There's a dynamic map here: http://atlas.krystof.io General Ideas * The only Spawning Freeport Cell (A1) allows no claims and rapidly decays built items. You're meant to start here and visit here, not stay here. * You are capped to level 8 at the freeport. To level up to the 'pre-discovery' cap of 25, get out of A1. * The grid is 4x3 with end game islands and a Kraken dedicated cell. * Each biome is represented by at least two tiles to provide a diverse environmental experience. * ForceAllStructureLocking = True * Initial Max Level 25 - After that, you must discover islands to increase the level cap, or through power stones and defeating the Kraken. * Max Level 150, all engram points available by the end of it (engrams per level adjusted, higher levels give more points) - This may change in the future when children are introduced. * There are a few freeport islands spread out the map for vendors, but only **one** that you can spawn in (A1 region - Castle Caladan) * Islands become generally more difficult in each cell the farther away from A1 you are as a reference point. Some Islands are 1.0 (Max level 30 wild dinos), while most are 1.4 to 2.6 - Max level 78 of wild Current Multipliers * Player stat increase - All stat increases 1.25 X Official except health and weight, which are 1.0 and 1.5 respectively. * Global Spoil Time X 2 (Longer lasting) * Player Water Drain Rate X 0.8 * XP X 1.5 * Taming Speed X 1.5 (This leads to X3 on official as they doubled the baseline) * Harvest Amount X 1.5 (This leads to X3 on official as they doubled the baseline) * Treasure Gold Multiplier X 1.5 Weekend Rates Harvest X6, XP X2 Tame Specifics More modifications probably coming here. The goal I had in ARK was to make targeted breeding and mutating paramount to success. To achieve that in a single player-ish environment, I boosted a good amount of stats. I don't know how much exactly will equate in Atlas - We'll have to play it by ear. Thus far the tame specific settings are: * EggHatchSpeedMultiplier=15 * BabyMatureSpeedMultiplier=50 Imprinting to full maturation supported. Ship Specifics No config changes at this time for ships - XP cap increased to allow higher levels Mods Cargo Box SPUK Advanced Structures Other Notes: Settings as a whole may be tweaked over time as more .ini options may become available for us to edit (like ship stats), and mods become available. In general, I play through the game and adjust as I deem fit - My philosophy is not to hand myself things on a silver platter, and I like decor mods but disable bits that give advantages against the spirit of PVE. I like things challenging and somewhat harsh, but eventually doable via a single player, so things may be adjusted as I move forward. With ARK, I accomplished this with some boss damage scaling and promoting selective breeding and imprinting to be the mechanism for creating a powerful army for endgame. I'll see how the game evolves over time in Atlas and adjust accordingly. Outside of this, I take a very hands off approach. You want a resource? Go find it. That's how I play it. Between all the biomes and such I think I have everything covered - if necessary I can add an island or two later.

  18. A little backstory on me: I came to this game looking for a pirate/sea fantasy style game. I had never been a fan of Ark, or any survival games... but the genre has grown on me since trying Atlas. I was/am a fan of Summit1g, and love his videos from Sea of Thieves. I came into this game expecting a Sea of Thieves style game, but with building, and more MMO elements. Most of my time in this game has been on board Brigantines and Schooners, doing ship PvP, raiding, and naval combat. I consider myself quite experienced in PvP, and I'm very proud of my company and their performance against every type of opponent. I've poured countless hours into the game. I can safely say I've dabbled in pretty much every element. Now, with that said, I'd like to lay some heavy criticism at your feet, in the most respectable way possible: #1 - Are we going for 'Realism'/Simulation, or fantasy? What do we weigh more, fun gameplay, or realistic experiences? -Carbine reload timers are 15 seconds, yet we have giant crabs... which, are seemingly impossible to kill with said carbines. The jury is still out, but it appears to require liquid flame, several people coordinating perfectly timed grenades, maybe an explosive barrell, some harpoons, and other tamed animals to maybe kill one. Hopefully the crab doesn't jump over the mountain and instantly heal back up though. And look, I'm fine with silly crab monsters --- but can you give Firearms the same treatment? Let us load that carbine in 3-4 seconds, maybe faster with talents, and actually hurt the giant mutant crab. If we're going to fun - that's great, let's address the unfun things and turn down the realism on them a bit. Vitamins, reload time, freezing to death, etc. If we're going for realism, that's also great - let's tone down the power of tames, especially the giant ones. #2 - Ships have a weight limit, a crew limit... but no listing / balance mechanic. You can have 15,000 kilos on your ship, with 12k KG loaded directly on the rear of your ship. Again, what are we going for here? Are we going for realism? If so, implement some system for listing. Are we going for fun and creativity? Lessen the restriction on crew and weight. I don't like having to tell company members they can't ride on my Brigantine because I don't have a crew slot open or room for the 100kg they're going to take up. #3 - Death, Beds, item scaling and Naked Players. I feel like the entire concept of death in this game needs a long look. Naked players are at the same time way too effective at controlling the meta game. Capturing islands, defending islands, riding tames, etc. Naked vs. common gear is a very marginal difference. Yet on the flip side, a player in full common plate, with a carbine or blunderbuss, melee weapon, vitamin buff, etc... is completely worthless against a player in Legendary or Mythical Gear, or riding a decent tame. We need a more linear scaling system. Paradoxically though, naked players can stall out even the most well geared raid force for HOURS by simply running, contesting, placing structures, etc. Beds need a limit on how many times they can be used in PvP. Perhaps a durability hit each time they are used for a PvP death.

We also have many 30+ wild level bears for sale. We have some low level bears that we would be willing to TRADE for or sell for a reduced amount in gold. Elephants and other animals are available and quantities and types of animals may vary from day to day however WE HAVE BEARS in-stock always. I would like to get 800 gold per bear and I'm willing to negotiate lower level bears till they are gone. We are focusing on level 30+ for all future tames so when the levels below 30 are gone they likely won't be replaced.   23. Yo ho and a bottle of rum! So two weeks ago, ive wrote a ticket, we got this compagny who wish to merge with us, and that would be great, hence the bloody island point system, the sad part is just..... None of the leaders have the merge compagny option so we are stuck now, this really sucks, and no help from support, even tho it says they deal specific with that kind of issue, so any ideas here ?   24. This cooldown system is a very illogic stupid system ! if a player on PVE wants to shoot at a lion on Powerisland gets killed and leave the area with a lot of nerves because many other things ! Any player, after equipped his weapon on any slot, it has 25 seconds until the weapon is AVAILABLE AND AGAIN ! that stupid minigame along with the slow-motion animation of reloading. FFS, REALLY ??? Until you reload your weapon and do those stupid slow motion animated minigames of reloading any creature eats you alive !!! This cooldown systems is also on tools after you equip them on player slots ! Why can be this simple like in any other game and has to be these minigames and cooldowns ???
