  1. Aye, this bug is on the top of our list. I was actually just talking to an engineer about it and I'm hoping we can get it resolved asap, sadly it's one of the more tricky ones. Additionally, it doesn't reproduce very well in our testing environment so we have to iterate on the live game to resolve it. Sorry for going off topic!
  2. We've updated our Linux servers to the latest version on the Steam Depo. Should hopefully resolve the libcurl & save issues. Let me know how that goes and I'll update the engineers
  3. I've said it before but might as well say it again. Limits resolve absolutely fuck all. I'm sorry you haven't found land yet but it's out there and claimable and they are even patching the player bodies being there so that after awhile they just die and you don't have the issues anymore. This limit just means more companies forming to own more land and you still get stuck without it. Claim System > Pillar / Foundation Spam in Lawless.

We're working on releasing regular Dev Kit updates to resolve issues, you can keep up to date with those patch notes here: The editor will be making its way onto the Epic Launcher soon, once we're confident that it's had some more time out in the wild and we're sure of its stability. Not sure if it'll be available on Steam, likely it'll just be the manual updates or Epic Launcher in the future.
  5. Sorry to hear that buddy. The wait is long for support on this game it took them one week to resolve our company ownership issue, the first reply happened around the 4th day of the ticket being live. Make sure you provide your company ID and do this command in game - ccc and then paste the results into the ticket. This gives them the teleport command to your location and the ID they need to look into.
  6. Robot already screwed you out of negotiation. Brother we are nobodies victim. Victims cry on the forums. We resolve our issues in game.
  7. I have sailed through 6 grid squares and on every island I am told to go away. I have tried about 20 different islands and all are being unfriendly. I feel I have to restart on a PvE server just too experience the game. I have no idea how they are going to resolve this, to stop new players from feeling like not playing due to this big issue.

  9. Is it possible to assign a different RCON port for the auto-updater to connect to? I cannot get it to communicate with localhost/127.0.0.1 for some reason even though it's running on the same server. I was hoping to put in the server's local IP to quickly resolve the issue.
  10. Please add a way to resolve ddns (HOSTNAMES) to IP! So for example i would use venom.ddns.net and it would be resolved as xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
  11. Thanks. This is the kind of information I need. I really want to try this, but I'm going to wait a bit to see if they can resolve some of the issues first. I can't imagine any outcome at this point other than making me want to quit out of frustration if I tried this right now.
  12. The server editing tool and the ServerGrid.json it creates specifically looks for the IP address of each grid cell. You actually CANT enter in a hostname into the field, it actually won't let you in the map editor, it has to be a numeric string. Sure, you might be able to manually edit your json file there, but I have no idea if that would translate to it automatically attempting to resolve it to get the IP. Also be aware that Servergrid.ServerOnly also requires IP address information to deal with tribe database entries. This seems like a purposeful decision on the part of the developers given the way the editor behaves. You'll need a mod to do that, as suggested by Faka there if it works.
  13. I to am having this problem. Stuck on the PrimalGameData_BP endlessly. I have tried the following to try and resolve this issue: updated graphics card driver ran windows updates restarted system attempted to run in low memory mode verified game files - repaired on file restarted again after game file repair tried to run without battle eye still nothing this is the second day this is happening now

Not personal experience, but I have seen a number of people on the PvE forums encouraging people to hide pillars/foundations in awkward places (And giving tips) to block resource spawns to "stick it to the land-owning bourgeois", even though you'd have the power to demolish them, if they are stick inside world geometry, or in really inconspicuous places it could be very difficult to resolve, which makes it risky for land owners to allow strangers to build too. Lack of trust on both sides, combined with trolls means everyone loses sadly
  17. Hopefully in time the community will understand there is a need for a change to themselves more than the devs need to be making swinging changes to try and resolve this issue. I've played thousands of hours in Ark and I always felt as though there was so much missing from the way "most" tribes were structured. I am hopeful that when the Devs overhaul the Company structure they will look to other MMO's and give us something more fitting than 5 roles to try and micro manage 500 folks with. I would love to see a more robust chat system ingame to enable us to be more social with newer players and give them a hand up instead of the finger so many of them get on the daily. Keep your head up dude and reach out through the forums and reddit to try and build some relationships.

  19. Actually i play with my 94 yold Debuff... Corps Run it's not Funny for me, 2 fontaine with a Cycle it's the Worst Idea dev have, ok if they want to place the fontaine on GoldAge island but they active this Fontaine on EATCH golden age for resolve lag and unplayable area
  20. It's being fixed, there will be a server-side patch incoming to resolve it. It's because we're all 90+ we forgot how to door!
  21. SInce no information is given although half the player base still gets kicked from your official servers within seconds, here's my how to better game support! 1. Bug Prevention Test new features and patches offline on several machines before taking them online. Early-Access is no carte blanche to use your players as paying beta testers. Make sure you can roll back patches and implementations in order to prevent game-breaking bugs remaining for days. 2. Bug Detection After every patch, check your forums for problems players report and cathegorise them. If those are all solvable within hours and a small patch, announce its release early to warant your player base's patience for the denial of service in the meantime. 3. Bug Correction If you need more time to resolve certain bugs, roll-back your patch and work on it offline in order not to let half your paying player base hang! If you cannot (due to legal or technical obstacles i.e.) take it back, be transparent to your players and state the facts if and why not and when there will be a solution. Keep an eye at these simple ideas of respecting the community who invest money, time and emotions in your unfinished product (just like you) and no reasonable player would be frustrated of your handling of the situation.
  22. Indeed. Am about to completely change my pen for a third time. Am gonna leave it built in the water, but am going to raise my stilts so the pen is equal with my house. That honestly should resolve 99% of my problems, unless they can spawn inside of this pen of course. Raising everything up 1 wall height should mean that no wild life can touch any of my tames. Fingers crossed
  23. I'm pretty sure this WAS the permanent fix they were planning. Jat said this on Tuesday: "The overweighting issue is indeed a priority for our team and we definitely understand the frustration it's causing. We're working on a more delicate technical solution to resolve it, hopefully, we can get that in as soon as possible." The current fix went out shortly after that, which makes me think this fix is that "delicate technical solution". Obviously they didn't test it very much because simply stepping on a raft in testing would have revealed a huge new issue that should never have gone live... not to mention it is apparently still possible to sink other players ships in PVE. All they had to do was make it so weight doesn't sink anchored ships in PvE. Instead they tried some convoluted fix that doesn't work and created other problems. Not great.
  24. Where my server is located I dont have access to a static external IP. I do not want to reconfigure the server each time my ip updates. This is why im using a hostname. Game servers are often ran using host names, this is no new idea by far. Just curious why it breaks this games server. Host names are resolved by DNS on either client or server the same way so im not seeing where the problem lies. The game server itself is not having to resolve the dns for a transfer I would not think. If one square works, im just curious why transfer doesnt work to the other squares.
  25. Having joined a company and losing possession of a couple of ships in the process, I went back to claim items out of storage. Encountered this issues, so I guess not only are the items in storage on my old ships gone forever, bt so will be all the items in my inventory. There are many legitimate reasons to boared others ship. So this isn't much of a fix, it's just another band-aid that causes more issues. But it's the history of the this company, let's resolve 1 issues by introducing more
