  1. Ahahaha, well, then let's add an atomic bomb to make solo players even easier ... otherwise, why are big companies insolent! They spend their free time and energy to bring themselves regional resources and craft a mythical ship for themselves! They are completely insolent! But seriously, everything that you wrote my friend is idiocy. I have played both in big companies (ED, TOE, etc.) and in small companies, even solo. And even my solo player had regional resources to craft everything from staff to legendary / mythical planks for the ship, as well as equip it with no less good artillery.What kind of experience in pvp can you talk about if you do not even realize that on the same lawless you can build entire bases under water, closing them from above with platforms, none of the big companies stupidly pays attention to these fobs / caches or will not demolish them because it is too costly, and some hideouts in general, in principle, cannot be blown up with barrels, because they are generally closed by a rock under the water from above! But most likely you are one of those noobs living in the Lawles region who build bases near the coast or on the pillar and with a 24/7 phase, which is essentially wonders how he is constantly being demolished and robbed. Nobody prevents a smaller company or solo player from joining a medium or large company or alliance.Of course, if you are not a noob who runs around with a carbine or blunderbuss (without using melee weapons) and shout that the levels of your opponents are too high for you to kill them. Oh yes, now you do not need a carbine or blunderbuss, you can run and put Puckle, which will start shooting almost immediately (after 30 seconds), while you are demolished 1 Puckle you put 10. Cool game, baby! Do you know what big companies that you hate so fiercely will do now? They will spam the island with thousands of Puckles as they have no limit! xD And in any phase you can not even land there in solo or with friends! I need the title of Puckle Warrior, Supa Fighter! Supa Warrior! With a gray ship with barrels, you will not present any danger to the fleet of you hated large tribes. Why are there still idiots in this game and those like it (ARK) who think that if the developers break the balance towards small companies and solo players, then this broken balance will work only for them and for no one else ?! Why have these people, apparently not having convolutions in their brains, have not learned anything yet ?! Do you think your ship with barrels will survive the salvo of the same ship with only mythical barrels? With mythical guns? Seriously? Do you think Puckles spam works only from your side? Or what? It's hopeless ... People playing atlas with blood from their nose proved to me that Atlas is not a casual game, that it will never happen the same as with ARK ... As a result, ARK still has more or less normal online, overwhelming at times online "non-casual" Atlas. It took me 2.5k hours of playing pvp (also from the 1st season) to understand how this game and its valiant developers were crap. Good day to you, friend!
  2. Well your right, its completely dependent on what stats the baby inherits. You could get lucky and all or most of the stats you want are inherited on your first try or you could get shitty luck and only get 1. Its a roll of the dice.
  3. While I certainly share your frustrations, perhaps early access isn't for you, especially with this company. These warehouses are an easy fix. In fact many of the things that became broken with this patch other than the overall barrels (which don't seem well thought at all) can be easily fixed. None of us here paid for a complete game experience and with some of the boundaries this game is pushing, there's going to be a shit ton more things that go wrong before they go right. Regardless, ranting about it each week here and on Twitter isn't really constructive and your coming off as a cry baby. Quit already or STFU. No one cares if you're storming off and going to your room to pout. Clearly your expectations for this company will never be met because they're pretty shitty as a whole and put out substandard gaming software. I for one have come to understand this and enjoy playing the game for what it is, not for what I wish it were and when they fuck up like they have this week, I offer some solid constructive feedback instead of empty threats that I'll leave, only to say I'll log in every few days so I don't lose my shit.... Lol
  4. - Rant alert - Honestly at the moment I would prefer if the Development team spent some time on fixing the game, rather than adding pointless fluff! Come on dev's, every time I try to do anything on the PvE server I get bounced back a random number of steps. This makes any sort of combat a complete lottery, I.e. you have one in 16 million chance of hitting the lion you are currently being carried by; as usually the lag means you cant get your weapon into your hand before it kills you. Carrying a tame, even deep in the hold on a ship, is a simple way of getting it to do some long range swimming. There is more Bears in the waters of some zones than ship wreaks or Ships of the Dammed. Passing through the zone borders on some zones is like playing Russian roulette with an automatic pistol, PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP IT IS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING. The massive reduction of zones and loss of a server means, it takes forever to find a bit of shore to build a ship. Then when you do find somewhere, no doubt some five year old will cry about being to close to their base and start behaving like a baby when you ignore them (You know who you are). Due to the apparent lack of interest in this game from the developers, I had given up on this game entirely, until one of my friends pointed out the reboot and farmhouse, indicating some new interest from the developers. I really enjoy the game but firmly believe that any product should work as designed before it is polished with shiny fluff (although I really think you could give us some Frigates and 1st Class ships of the line :) ). - Rant Over - Could really love this game once it is fixed.
  5. its another wonderful day. So i go to do what i have done everyday since the reset which is play the wonderful game that is Atlas,HOWEVER today is not like any other day after verifying my files TWICE before even getting into the game, i thought finally in time to quickly imprint on my baby bear and off to sail the seas,but nope game has other ideas i load in and get met with a empty hot bar and a empty ability bar and the inability to interact with anything. i thought hmm strange but maybe its a loading issue sometimes things like this happen when i first launch the game,so i waited a few minutes then outta nowhere i get kicked by battleye with the message " You have been kicked by BattleEye, Reason 'client not responding' tried every fix i could find but no luck getting in , trying one last fix as i'm writing this but i do not hold hope of it working which is a shame because i was really enjoying the game after coming back to it after over a year oh well.

  7. We have always gotten 15 minutes warning on a maint on the server, didn't matter if you had baby's due ( which I did and lost two different times due to not having a certain time, don't get those sorts of goodies. Here it is almost the day is over and still no fix, this is totally ridiculous.

Oh yeah I have noticed the inconsistency for sure along the coast, thanks for the advice though, I think in the future since I don't understand the tech part I will just throw up something simple like thatch to see if they will breed, not a lot of mats nor time I just thought it so odd though how it happens and all around me ladys were having baby bears left and right.

  10. Devs please read my words. I have played games only since 2014 as a pve player. I think PVE gets lost in the definition of exactly what it is and, why I was drawn to it myself so please read what I have to say before you make any big moves again and to consider pve players more seriously. Veterans People with disabilities Older generation People with agoraphobia Introverts People wanting to escape the crap of the world today. There are more I am sure that I have not thought of. Veterans have fought their wars, they only want to go on a game in pve mode so they themselves can not only control their situations and not have to fight which would most likely trigger a lot of players. Many of the Vets I have seen posting in the blogs and on the game have left due to them thinking it was going to go to pve/pvp and global server. PVE offers them the choice to put themselves in a controlled situation. People with disabilities now have a way to get up, move about like they can't in real life, they can jump, run all of the things that they can no longer do in real life and if it isn't stressful enough in real life, making them play pvp ( if that is your intentions ) in order to play this awesome game would be, well it just wouldn't be right. Agoraphobia, there are more people out there with this disorder than one actually realizes, they have anxiety about their environment, if it is not a controlled environment then all h#ll breaks loose for them in real life. With the pve aspect of a game it gives them more control of their surroundings. Introverts, shy people that would not really have anything to do with other people due to the severity OF that shyness, in pve they can actively participate in conversations and of course, control their environment, this gives them some sort of platform to build better skills and confidence to actually talking and interacting with people. People wanting to escape the crap of the world today. I am one of them, if I don't get on a pve game I am in F# jail on a constant basis fighting politics, on games like Atlas it keeps me out of F# jail lol. I absolutely hate how our nation is acting and so Atlas gives me a MUCH needed reprieve from the real world one where I myself have control over my actions and not have to worry about the actions of others. There are a lot more out there like me in this aspect than what you think. Last and I feel weird offering this up but, Atlas brought me back from a stroke, I had a mild stroke, didn't know how to use the asdw I could barely decipher left from right and it took real hard thinking to get that straight, after six days of playing Atlas I finally was capable to sail one of my ships, scary as h#ll but, the game itself helped me to get back my functions I am convinced and of course, those gorgeous baby bears!! OMG I lOVE those bears!!! In short ( finally ) PVE is a lot more than what you guys realize, meet us, your pve players Now please, put us back on NA servers, global servers are not only horrible on the lag and rubberbanding they have a high account of mean, snobbish people ( and jerks scared to play pvp so they do it on pve ) whereas you just don't get many on the NA server, that plays an important part of the pve community and why people ARE pve players. Thanks, sorry for the long winded explanations.

Everyone's just mad because now they have to fight to get somewhere since all company's lost everything they had and all They're power in the wipe and now they have to fight to get it all back and fight They're way to the top again and they are lazy and dont want to do that so they are complaining about the update guess they never ben told cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen dont worry dev's good job some people just have a case of big baby syndrome they were never kicked from the bottle
  13. What would need you to work in shifts? Gestation is 4 hours. Once the baby is born you fill it with food and just keep topping it up for the first half an hour or so, this should then give you at least an hour away from your comp by then. Come back after an hour and fill it with 5 stacks and that should be enough. Once it reaches 10% it becomes juvi and feeds from a trough. As long as you have plenty of them stocked up you could walk away and come back 2 days later to a fully grown bear. The only time you would need to come back is to imprint and that is every 8 hours. So if you time it right you can do one late at night and one early morning, set an alarm Bottom line, you only really need to be with them for the 1st half an hour or so of their lives. They are very easy to breed.
  14. I have a cow and a bull that I have bred a few times trying to (unsuccessfully) get a cow instead of a bull. Is there a trick to it? TBH, I don't remember ever getting a baby cow before, but maybe I wasn't paying attention. Any tips for me?

  17. I understand the sign post I saw the other day now. Was walking past a new base the other day with a sign out front which said "disgruntled NA PVE Players" now I get it... By forcing all PVE players onto one server do you think there is going to be anywhere to build when everyone floods the grids... NO! Imagine the lag this is going to cause. If the post reads how it sounds like focusing on PVP and something more for PVE is this a response to Sea of Thieves which you've probably lost a lot of players to reading their steam reviews. I've played each phase of this game since launch, i'm not starting from scratch again. All the time spent breeding and getting my bears stats up, wasted again... Why do you need to wipe maps? Why cant you add servers and create a new map on them like your little ARK baby. The Island, The Center, Scorched Earth etc and you can travel between them. You've already got the Mayan / Aztec aesthetic in Atlas, you could utilize that as some sort of long lost Mayan Power which you can use to travel between them, our version of Tek which you have to unlock through end game content. Previous experience says this is going to go like it has the past 3 times, give us a little taste, reap whatever profits and pump it into the next exp of Ark. People remember.

    I so totally agree with you, a lot of my friends have been saying the very same thing that you are saying, this game I bought for the PVE aspect as well as the sailing aspect I do not DO pvp so if the devs are going to baby the pvp'ers and ignore the pve'ers then I would like a refund please because I am one of the many that you just wiped without warning and told that I have now got to go to an EU server as there are no more NA servers, what is that? A lot of people, including myself, feel cheated devs and I am one that not only raves good about Atlas game but encourages others to buy it but now I am not so sure, this is just sad and mean. Love the idea of a new map but not an EU server. As a pve player I feel left out in the cold by you guys and, I am not alone.
  19. To give an update on tigers: This is how it all worked for me. From birth every minute, it will gain 1 food count. I used bone marrow for the baby it seemed to give the baby better health points than anything else. So, I spent a lot of time stocking up to 500 bone marrow in a preserving bag keeping ice in it. The baby is NOT tied to your character hot/cold stats so, don't go by them to keep your baby alive. After an hour your up to 70 and when it gets to 2 rows of food it gets easier but be vigilant of these times: In-game time(s) are found at the Atlas tab at the top. (everyone knows this?) 12:00 around that time they will ALWAYS need an Icebox to cool down (Hot icon appears) till 14:45. In rare cases, the hot icon will disappear and if you turn off your icebox it will come right back in a few seconds. 21:45 around that time they will ALWAYS need a fire, Grill, works best, (Cold icon appears), all night is ok and you only need one per animal I think but, I only have time to raise 1 baby at a time. I have not worked out that evening time because I go hunting for bone marrow at that time (elephants), and make salted meat for the carnivore troth, I fill it full of the "none prime" meat it's cheap! Salted anything lasts longer and ALL carnivores will eat it just fine. Tons of salt TONS!, to make it but once full it''ll last days. But now because of baby I will get it full for when the baby can feed off the troth. Because I will need real-life sleep. The time when you have 3 food rows it's a little less work to maintain the baby but you should keep about 200 minimum in the baby if you have attention issues keep it full but do check it from time to time just make sure till baby is juvenile you are bound to this for NOTE: If you do not address the hot with an icebox the baby will die and the same if you do not address the cold with some sort of fire. I NEVER had to force feed it! Salted meat lasts 4 hours and unsalted meat lasts 40 minutes. Also, note once the times are up for hot and cold you can call the baby over to the other device. I also like to plan the breeding time for an even clock time like 06:00 or 05:00 so is easier to know what times in real life things need to happen. At first birth tip, you only need to keep it full of bone marrow and once full just keep stacks or five on you and try to add more to determine what inventory count the baby is up to. Plan the first 3 hours managing the food and temps, then when things get easier do things that take a little longer but don't go fare. Mostly I think you can manage the feeding and figure that out (don't run out of food) but the times is gets cold and hot are cracked. It's 6 hours to get it to the troth or juvenile state! 6 HOURS! of fun, yeah it is learning the science of the game is fun as a single player. The Imprinting is 6 times at 8 hour wait times in between, sleep set alarm to take it for a walk touch it, whatever it wants. then repeat ever 8 hours to get all the imprinting. Imprinting is useful for you as the rider and nobody else the stats nearly double when you ride the (ARK like I guess). Someone should add some of this to the Wiki I don't have time I am playing Atlas!

  21. I have a few bugs I would like to address first starting with ship issues. The first issue is that takes will slide through the ships during loading sequences. Most the time they lag back on the ship but in a few instances the will lag into the ocean never to be seen again. Another Lag issue with ships is occasionally the ship will render beneath the surface of the water. This brings the ships closer to the sand bars( which in my opinion should only beach a ship wink wink) causing increases likelihood of a lost ship when near a sand bar. All the ship issues generally occur when entering a new region and I am a Xbox user. The second issue is bows as the hit box on a bow is similar to the mana's ice breathe in ark where as the target is only taking damage when aiming at his anus. The Hit box does not appear 75 percent of the time for head shots or body shots even though the arrow is obviously stuck into them. Guns do not possess this issue so you may look into firearm ammunition coding as a possibility to a solution. The last issue refer to takes and lag issues. On console I have noticed the big lags of bases are due to the system trying to liad bases as a whole instead of render in piece by piece. An option to add structure render rate may debunk most lag problems as the coded seems more efficient than ark. Also when crashing if the characters can just go unconscious that would save tame lives while swimming as normally a tame float in the water but if your on it, well it sinks and drowns before you get back on. The last issue involves the age old babies ignore their inventory when all players in tribe or offline or out of render range leaving a baby to starve with a full inventory. These are the only issues i have found so far. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
  22. Yeah, I would have never touched breeding had they not made those changes. With levels, the higher the wild level (level before tame + taming bonus) the higher the stats. The stats are random so you will not necessarily get the same values per animal. This gives incentive to tame multiple lvl 30 animals (Wild level 44 (might be 45 cant remember if its +14 or +15 on perfect tame)) in order to push for better stats. When you breed, you have a chance of stats passing from mom/dad to the cub. Ideally, you would combine say your highest stat X (HP as example) m/f with your highest stat Y (say Melee for example) f/m and hope the baby picks up both stats. If not rinse repeat until it gets both. Then take your next highest stat Z (Weight as example) and breed that with your new HP/Melee max stat bear and hope to pickup the hp, melee, and weight. Etc, etc until you have all your best stats in a single bear. The total of stats of an animal will determine its wild level, combining max stats is how you push the base WL. (I think we finished at WL 120ish (0 muts) last time I played, which means the bear was lvl 120 right out the erm.. gate) Once you have that max bear, you breed en masse to get a bunch of stock and to start mutation hunting. After 20 mutations its much more difficult to get a new mutation, so what I would do is go until say I got HP Mutation 1, then start a new (separate breed line) which would focus on HP until I had 20 of that. Repeat (separate breed line) for the other mutations until you have a bear with 20 muts in a single stat (at peak I had ~50 bears per mutated stat lines). Then combine all those for the monster bears. The big thing with mutations is you should always breed a X/20 mutation with a 0/20 mutation, as the mutations from the mother + father are "passed" (even if the stat doesnt pass on) to the baby... so a 5/20 mother and 5/20 father would net a 10/20 baby, which can get out of hand fast. (We had a "dirty" line with like 800 mutations at one point, but not the stats. This is also why I would kill so many cubs. This is beyond your initial breeding and is the "end game" from a breeding perspective. Stats are less important for 1st or 2nd breeding as the imprint bonus (30% damage, 30% damage taken reduction when imprinted rider is riding, plus stat bonuses) is very valuable starting out. Stat bonuses from imprints do not transfer to new cubs, its only the base stats when its born (I would put 2 folders in the inventory with base stats, so I knew who had what) Other than that only other pointers I can think of would be, when the babies pop you have to claim it (whoever claims it will imprint on it, and will have to do the additional imprints for more bonus), you have about 1-2min before itll die from starvation. So you claim, open inventory, stuff food in, then disable wander. (Animals are default to wander when born). If you got any other questions give a shout and good luck!
  23. Nah man it wont take 30hours. Once pregnant you come back in 4 hours for the birth then... For bears its about 2 hours till you can get the 4 stacks, then its just like 2 min ever 8 hours. Tigers will take a little longer, thinks its like 6 hours? To get the tigers to 10%. After 10% the babies will eat from feeding troughs and are immune to the heat/cold, so you just come back for imprints. WRT levels, stats for the baby are based on the base stats when tamed (31,32,34) not thier current level (63, 68, 69).
  24. Temperate is good for bears, usually never have to worry about temp. Use any veggie for food as it gives the most food and lasts the longest. I would stuff mine till 4 stacks of celery then just leave em be, that will be enough to 10%. (At 10% they eat from feeding troughs). IIRC 1 stack lasts about 45 min, so you are able to wander off and do some other stuff. Most of the time youll get 1 cub. But you can get triplets and twins too. (IIRC id get maybe 4 sets of twins with 50 bears poping per run, but rng is rng) Dont feel bad if your 1st ones go, youll quickly get to the point of letting half or more of a liter die bc of crap stats. (At my "prime" Id pop 50-75 bears and keep 3 or 4 on a good day) Tigers our company was breeding in tropics but I think you had to heat em at night. There might be better biome but honestly not sure. Just have lots of meat ready, you will have to baby sit these guys. Dont forget to restack meat in troughs every so often as itll let stacks last a little longer than having em spread out. (Ie 25 stacks will rot 25 meat per decay, but if you can restack em to 13, only 13 stacks are exposed, so you lose 13 meat per decay instead of 25)
  25. Breeding and baby raising is better. Imprinting needs improvements. Juvenile the animal is pretty much self-sustained by the troth. I am going to use the tiger for this and the problems with still imprinting. After I got to the juvenile stage I made sure the troth was packed with meat of all kinds, keep in mind I have other meat-eaters too that use the troth too, along with fruit and veggie eaters. Inbetween the imprinting is an 8 hour wait I calculated there are 6 imprinting sessions. I did 2 and the last one the baby tiger died because all the meat went bad/spoiled in the troth. Even as a one or two-player company/group this is just not user friendly. I noticed that bone marrow gives the tiger baby a very slight feeding boost and noted that bone marrow is very hard to come buy. Why not figure a way to use this source for the imprinting because 8 hours in between is a crazy amount of time X6 that's a job a real job. Why not use bone marrow to lower the clock. It was a hard thing to micromanage the baby 5 hours hot/cold and that was not easy to do by myself. Or code so small groups have less time to imprint, code so if someone leaves a company they can not rejoin for a month. I don't know that was a really close to game killer when I get back after setting my alarm to sleep and it had died from starvation. The game is based upon mutipliers why not use the same concept used on ships the more XP a ship has the multiplier gets slower. The more people in a company the imprinting multiplier IS slower. The less people in a group the multipier is faster for imprinting. In a round about way this would make large groups seek out the smaller groups. "Hey guy, could you breed our tigers 200 gold for your time, 2000 for a full imprint" Breeder, "No, I want 100 mythos 500 for my time and 1000 for a 50% and 5000 for a 100% imprinted X,Y,Z!" You want players to interact or do you want them to play water polo over ones left in the ocean over 8 days? There is a mod maker in the modding community that makes a trader mod, one of the traders sells imprinting food, there is that too.
