I don’t know if it’s a coincidence but after I entered F13 I started crashing when opening map. Then I died and crashed because it shows a map, I keep getting assertion failed and I’ve reinstalled, verified game cache, rebooted pc. Don’t know what to do is there a fix to this yet??

Sunken company ships that have been salvaged and ribbing dissolved still show up on the map. Causing clutter. The Sloop I had 4 weeks ago is still on my map, as well as the Ramshackle Sloop I sunk 2 days ago.

I am honestly appaled at the state of the map. The largest islands are few and far between (and mostly the same if not an exact copy) and the smaller rocks don’t even deserve a mention. There are entire grids with some of the better islands still labelled “lawess” and unclaimable. There are no large landmasses, no unique island chains, and the ammount of copy/paste used for both the islands and the assets found on them is astounding. You end up sailing for an age, sometimes through blockades of clustered up ships of the AoD, only to arrive at the same island you left flipped 90 degrees clockwise. What little boring land there is, has already been claimed by a player-base that has been crammed into a single server with the Chinese and Asian communities. You can play whack-a-mole with the flag claim system forever, it won’t solve the core issue: There is not enough land for everyone.

Hey sailors! I have spent some time developing a web app to help players deal with information that I think we would all like to see on the in-game map. https://atlasgame.info/map The map component is now in a place where players may find value, as well as provide feedback. I'm hoping to evolve this over the coming weeks (eg. shareable maps, player map drawings, persistence across groups/sharing ). Additionally, I plan to add tools to help calculate material gathering needs (such as checklists for building big boats), as well as some wiki-style information crowd-sourcing for things like resource locations. Also, you will probably notice the lack of territory control layers. Since that's basically the only info the official atlas map offers, I will be skipping that that over for now, unless I feel like is a large demand for it. Please don't hesitate to comment or PM with feedback/complaints/bugs, or contact me through the social media I have linked within the app. Thanks for your time, and I hope you find it useful!

Server I'm on is a 2x2, I could use the map no worries at all, even after moving my install folders to my SSD. been playing for around 1 or 2 hours on a different server, got back on to server I was on before, map was still working fine, and realised my galleon was stuck transferring. I tried going to A1 to A2 where it was to see if it was there and it wasn't, but, forget about that part, after going into A1, I got timed out, i got back in, opened my map, and I get a fatal error that starts with Assertion failed: Pair != NULL [File:H:\YARKUpdate\Engine\Source\Runtime\Core\Public\Containers\Map.h] [Line: 472] I don't have any H file, or driver, I've got my ATLAS installed onto my SSD which is my F drive. Icouldn't find anything following that link through Engine\Source\ - however there was no \Runtime there was only a ThirdParty folder which I'm assuming is just the anti-cheat maybe? Same thing is shown in a couple of other files. I've validated my files, restarted Atlas multiple times, and it won't work. One thing that may help is that my map works fine on other servers, but the one I'm mainly on gives me the fatal error, everyone else on the server is fine though. Heres an image of the entire fatal error If anyone has info on this please message, cheers.

Goal Accomplished. Free-Port Shops (Player Ran) with actual item/gold price setting, to be put in Free-Ports come Feb. Good evening, As the game continues to combine many facets from Ark and EvE Online many a question has cropped up regarding an Auction House. I am personally in the party that suggests an Auction house is created in the game, so I have taken the time to create this poll. There are a few options so first allow me to explain what an Auction House is for those that may have not played MMORPG's, then follow it up with choice descriptions. Auction House An Auction House or in this case Marketplace, is a tool that players may use to buy/sell/trade goods they've crafted/gathered/plundered. Generally an Auction House is not filled with "Dev Goods", and everything on the Auction House comes directly from the work of another player. Players are able to set price for the item they're selling, or ask for a specific number of items in return. Here I will list some common items that may be traded. Seller 1 1,000 Fiber (Asking Price) - 5 Gold Pieces Seller 2 500 Metal (Asking Price) - 15 Gold Pieces Seller 3 100 Stone Foundations (Asking Price) - 100 Gold Pieces Seller 4 100 Seeds (Asking Price) - 200 Alloy In general buyers will find said items and make a purchase, thus instantly receiving the item into their inventory or a predetermined box, such as a Mailbox. In our case, we would need to have a mailbox of sorts. Or a "Pirate" near the Marketplace holding onto our bought and sold items so that we may pick them up. Or have a build structure known as a AH House box that is Pin-Coded to exchanged goods. Now I will discuss the options at hand. 1. Option 1. A Marketplace is added to all Freeports, connecting all Freeports to eachother. This option would add the classic Auction House experience, such as World of Warcraft. Where the entire server is connected and able to buy/sell/trade goods. This allows players from the North/South/East/West to access goods they would other wise have to travel lengths to get. Overall, this experience allows for trade, however often times ends up inflated as goods become easier to acquire. 2. Option 2. A Marketplace isn't added to the game, and the game remains in its current state. This option completely eliminates the idea of an Auction House, keeping the game as it is. The only trade in the game is single, out in the field player to player interactions. Decent enough for survival games, but lacking for MMORPG games. 3. Option 3. A Marketplace is added to the game, however Freeports are not connected, thus creating individual Marketplaces, or trade Hubs. This option would add a modified Auction House to the game, this is an experience akin to EvE Online. In which ports would have goods brought in and created by players, working in a similar fashion to the Classic Auction House, however these Auction Houses are not connected, creating true High-Low markets, making some Ports better than others, while keeping identity to zones. This experience allows for trade, and generally does not inflate while keeping the market competitive. That being said, this option does not give all items at your disposal as a option 1 would and would still require you to travel great distances in order to obtain some items, but allows for better Craft/Trade overall. My personal take Personally, I am a fan of Option 3. To me this keeps markets competitive, and allows traders/crafters to really learn their craft and make a better profit for the time and effort they put in. It also keeps all Freeports hot and bustling, preventing a central Hub from completely taking over (though you will have some places better than others). It will have a stronger effect over the political game, and Empire late game. Thus it allows for more Pirating, and random events in the open to happen. Creating more content. Anyway, goodluck. Thanks for voting.

Dear Atlas-Team, when I am using the map while I am sailing, the map doesn't move with the ship. After leaving the steering wheel the map doesn' t center to the ship again. When you travel a long distance you are forced to scroll out to see where your location is. Regards Sascha

More ship styles two more types of single sailor style ships, not just a raft a speeder type ships low health low weight available but high speed with a rudder for travel between islands that dont have fast travel a "defense" type ships again solo ship has high weight limit but limited deck size to hinder stacking of items, allow for a cannon on swivel and ammo storage and storage chest many many more sloop and schooner level ships, following same as previous a travel/speeder ship and a defense ship. at schooner level add a barge cargo/trade style ship high durability high weight, sail-able by three players brig and galleon level needs to be from 10x to 30x harder to build. the galleon should be 100 to 300x harder to build, not just a resource count but maybe have to use items from Golden age or kraken or other boss type fights. again have multiple ship styles at these levels.\ Claims Claims need to have a timeout/maintenance mechanic if want to keep it storyline viable make it a sacrifice to the "GODS" for example 500 of each meat type (red meat, fish) needs to be placed at each flag every 5 days. but not a continuous deposit, instead every 5 days you have 24 hrs to place enough meat. once that threshold is met the 5 day claimed counter resets. This is outside the normal contested mechanic, but cleans up abandoned claims and adds a resource sink the "anyone" even those not in the defending claims alliance or company can reset a claim flag timer is not fun and makes no sense. dropping a claim in water making it 2x the size is such a cheese mechanic just keep them same size as land based claims. do not allow for contesting claims to over lap add blue color for allied claims add flashing claim circle or other visual UX indicators on the map for claims being challenged. can even tie this to a skill mechanic Resources very very very inconsistent. M9 for example is the best freeport to start, it has all mats easily accessible except salt make a decision either make resources biome locked or have a type of each resource class on each sector. sure tundra should be harder and not have fiber on land, but the seaweed spawns are super inconsistent, and the lack of sap and inconsistency of sap on the map in general makes little sense. more clearly label resources in flavor text. what is medical plants? what are herbs for cooking? this is not intuitive NPC add more to liven up the game, adding npc trade ships back is a start, but there should also be regular npc pirates not just ship of damned and ghost ships. like random traveling NPCs on rafts, sloops and schooners would add to the life of the game and give content to smaller ops and solo players. have NPCs be mission spawners, that create mini events randomly on the map, open ocean and lawless areas. MAP keep lawless areas these are good "med sec" land areas and the middel ground rule set is nice, it allows those who do not want to join mega corps the ability to play the game make map 3x to 5x bigger the game is not big enough, we are too compacted and the level of conflict is higher that should be this makes the resource/trade game very limited as the biome sphere for certain specialized items is so sporadic or limited to 2 islands. COMPANIES/ALLIANCE need better role/access choices need to be able to see allied lands dynamic map needs to show top level alliance not top guild need a mecanic that makes super corps and super alliances detrimental, allow them but make the upkeep harder (see claim mechanic, ships balance). That's what i have for now to try and make this more of a mmorpg and not a darkfall game. the game its self is fun. the daily or twice a day updates are great. you all have set yourselves a super high bar to keep at, if this is the level of commitment given during holiday, what will rest of year look like. Final questions, Devs, will there be wipes? should we expect them quaterly, yearly, only when offical launch happens? only when very major changes to game happen? Is there going to be a test server to have guided testing sprints to help development? what is your aim? mmorpg? ARK online? there is many POIs in game but they are empty.. what is road map plan? Thanks

Need to be able to put waypoints on the map and share them with our company.

Currently, allied claims show as red on the map the same as enemy claims. This makes it impossible to tell if someone has flipped your allies' territory without physically inspecting the whole island. Additionally, could you make it so there is some indication on the map of a claim being contested? Short of keeping a table of GPS coordinates on your map (which I'm doing now) there's also no convenient way of seeing which of your claims is being contested.

If you are in the server manager and go to File Manager of your game directory on the server Step 1 If it does not Exist Create a new Folder in the ShooterGame folder called ServerGrid Step 2 Within this folder take the export from the ServerGrid map editor downloaded from the grapeshot games wiki Step 3 Name it in the following Format CellImg_X-X.jpg Replace the X-X with the corresponding grid coordinates If it is a single server cluster map the images would be named accordingly A1 Map - CellImg_0-0.jpg If you had more than 1 server in a cluster then name accordingly A1 - CellImg_0-0.jpg A2 - CellImg_0-1.jpg B1 - CellImg_1-0.jpg B2 - CellImg_1-1.jpg Step 4 Upload these jpeg images to your server and the map should show after a reboot (this will show grey when you are browsing servers until you discover the map, once you have discovered the map then this will be uncovered)
