I am looking for some people to join my 2x2 server, its PvE with a few small exceptions(like if you agree to PvP, then go for it). Everyone is very laid back, most of the group have been online friends since Ark. Our age range of current members is 18-37, but we are open to anyone who just wants to play. To the server its a 40 slot cut up into 10 slots per grid, but I can absolutely upgrade should we have enough people, I have had a constant server or servers without downtime for over 3 years now. The rates are boosted, including letting you have pretty much all skills by the time you are max level of 100, 3x exp, 3x harvesting, 10x taming...breeding and such has been boosted as well, so has per stat points, this is set to be casual but still fun. Hello. On PVE, we depend on tames for protection and travel. The latest tame nerf has come to the point where a level 1 tiger can take out my level 40 bear, while I am mounted. This nerf affords no protection and makes tames practically useless, since they are easily killed while trying to gather resources or travel. All we can do at this point is keep them in our barn and hope nothing spawns inside. I think the nerfs were to improve quality of life in PVP, but for PVE it is actually decreasing quality of life. I understand this is early access and know/hope there will be further balancing in the future.

Hi all, I have been running a gaming community since the end of 2016. Also since this time ive been running dedicated servers for games. One of those servers is now Atlas. As of today we have started development on a Atlas PVE server. We are starting it off with a 1x1. But in the future i want a minimum of 3x3 to be honest. That is 9 maps. We will tweak and edit everhyting to customize it to our needs and wants. Update: 20-01-2019, We now have a 1x3 server online with everything in working order (map and treasure maps). Except for the powerstones quest wich will come online when the server is upgraded to a 3x3. We play as close to vanilla as possible, except for these changes: - Harvesting and harvesting health x2 - Taming x2 - No decay timer on buildings (but i will closely monitor the buildings of inactive members) - All buildings are locked by default - PVE / Friendly fire disabled (except for the centre/ MAW map in the future) Settings/configs are up for discussion :). We are in search for some new members that play Atlas. Our community mostly consists of solo players but group players are welcome to. We trade a lot and go hunting together a lot even though we are not in the same company. Everyone has their own piece of land. But worry not. There is plenty of space left! We take in all ages as long as you act mature. The group consists of a friendly bunch thats helpfull and besides Ark plays other games together. Most of us are casual gamers and not so much hardcore. Gaming should be fun right? Also we dont tolerate abusive admins, mods and members so no worries there. Will be selling land after update. Our location is in low desert. It has a lot of resources from metal/crystal to honey and sugars. We're right on the edge of a temperate lawless zone and only a few sectors away from tundra where turnips grow. There's nothing that we cant get within a few sectors. The sector itself is very friendly, a lot of helpful people - no serious drama. We laugh at "Alpha" tribes on PVE so we don't hold things over anyones head for any powertrips, we aren't pathetic anotherwords - so taxes are very reasonable and we're working out methods for people to pay 0% tax which isn't ironed out just yet but basically you we dont get a cut of your mats but we ask for help in other areas ie helping with boss fights. In regard to land size, again we own a lot so there's plenty of areas we'd be willing to let you move into. At this time we aren't flatout selling land as in we remove flags, and you set your own but we are planning on using the new system instead. We'll be willing to help share with smaller groups our breeding/taming structures if need be (we have elephants, rhinos, wolves, tigers, etc). I was disappointed to see that the building system in Atlas is mainly just a copy/paste of the system from Ark (minus a few improvements). One of the worst things about the vanilla building system (of the many horrible issues) is the Behemoth Gate. At least in Ark you had creatures like the Bronto that could explain this gargantuan edifice. This gate is MASSIVELY oversized for Atlas, especially with an elephant almost being able to fit through a regular gate. Why they have not implemented dynamic gates or a more appropriately sized option in Atlas is beyond me, but the result is the same. In PvE you have people spamming these massive gates as their entire base structure, with no thought or regard to their neighbours. I understand that some people will argue that this is the cheapest and easiest way to protect a base, and they would be right. This does not mean that it should be this way. I feel that it is exploitative, uneccessary, and simply diminishes the beauty of the game to allow these monstrosities to be spammed all over the map. Greetings I am currently playing ATLAS on the official EU PVE Server and would like to give some feedback and ideas based on the experiences I had so far: PVP on PVE I would like to see some way to toggle on PVP on PVE servers (for example to spar with some friends or to allow alliances voluntarily fight against each other). My idea here would be some sort of PVP flag, so that players (or ships) could toggle PVP on, allowing other players or ships to attack them if they have PVP toggled on as well. The change to “PVP on” could have some delay (like 5 minutes) so if a second player decides to engage the first player, the first player can see that PVP flag and ready himself for the fight. For ships, a separate toggle could be made or the PVP status could be set by the last player that has touched / is touching the helm. In order to prevent spamming, players that have “declared to be in PVP” should only be able to turn it back off again after some time or after engaging in a fight (like 10 minutes or so) and also not lose their status immediately after death, in order to allow the other players to actually fight and possibly even looting them. Obviously, if a player has PVP on and a player without PVP hits him accidentally, nothing should happen, so players don’t toggle on (for example when for farming) and can’t be baited into a fight by another player involuntarily. Alliance System It would be great if players could set ranks and permission for other alliance members, so that for example doors or containers could be accessed by freely. Right now, the only benefit is having other alliance members highlighted. Owned Markets or Warehouses I would like to see some sort of company-, alliance- or player-owned markets or warehouses where we can create orders (like “want to buy 10 X for Y” or “want to sell 30 N for M”) to allow some (unattended) trading with other players. I am not speaking of a global auction house, but more something along the line of a local shop or trading post. NPC Pirate Ships The amount and the strength of damned ships feel unbalanced and their appearance somewhat out of place during daylight. It would be great if the damned ships could be confined to night-time and regular NPC pirate-ships could take their place during the daylight instead, also allowing them to be balanced individually in strength and numbers. Underwater Weapons I would love to see some more underwater weapons, like a harpoon or allowing certain melee weapons, so I can defend myself better under water. Private cluster (password protected). We are a great community of ADULT players that enjoy some good gaming not only in Atlas but also on other games. Our community exists already for more than 3 years and we gathered a nice group. If you looking for some nice environment where people have good old time fun and you speak portuguese (we are keeping this as PT only), please drop some intention here and we talk about giving you access to the server.

I really enjoyed the game and I'm here to give my suggestion to improve the experience of all players, especially people who play alone or in small Comapany. I already have +200 game and I can not find a live area to claim an area for me. I'm tired of every island (in Lawless region) that I go it is already dominated by a single company. I have visited all the islands of O, A and N is always dominated and it is not possible to "steal" any area. My suggest the following changes to PVE ONLY:- Limit the number of flags of members of the same company to only 1 per Region. (Eg If I have a flag with an claimed area on any of the islands in A2 I can only claim another area in another region eg A3)- If an company owner or some of his crew members do not visit his area within a certain time period the area can be dominated by anyone else and the former owner can be notified (via HUD) to be able to retrieve your items / animals / ships within 6 hours for example, and objects after that period are allowed to be demolished or claimed by the new owner of the area. Note: I found this topic below and it seems a good solution too if it were to be linked with my idea somehow.

We thought we'd share this with everyone on the forums before we get around to updating the information on the Taming Wiki page. Currently, the Wiki says it's not tameable, but Atlas Shrugged has proven that it is in fact tameable! This took some group coordination and quite a while to tame! After hitting a couple "learning hurdles", if you will, the team persevered and managed to complete the tame. I couldn't be more proud of the Atlas Shrugged crew on NA - PVE - The Hydra's Den server. We were really hoping it was a thatch farming beast, since there is not an effective thatch farming animal as far as we're aware. Unfortunately, it seems to be proficient in combat, but nothing in terms of farming resources. We had one company member report that it reflected a shot fired at its face right back at the person who fired the bullet and killed them! Have any other companies successfully tamed a Shieldhorn? Any idea if this is the first tame on official servers? We'd be pretty stoked if it was! I just asked this: Please, tribes who act like this reduce this type of claim. I don't ask to removed all, but give more space for others.
