  1. High-end Blueprint Crafts are "Vanishing" or "Being Deleted" In the attached image, you see two normal bow blueprints. Those were previously of legendary or mythic quality. This has happened to roughly 20-30 high-end blueprints Atlas Shrugged has received. The blueprint is placed into a storage container as a legendary or mythic (I'm willing to bet it can happen with other quality types, too), then when returning to the storage container later, the blueprint has been "downgraded" to a normal When this happens, the blueprint is unusable. It cannot be moved, dropped, or used in any way. This seems to only happen to primitive items. We have seen it happen with: bows, stone picks, torches, and maybe a couple others. Crafted items can also be "downgraded/deleted". We crafted a mythic bow, and after two days of being used, it was placed in a storage container when the person logged off, and was "deleted" when he logged back in. Even though it was a crafted item, it was changed to a normal blueprint (versus a normal item). The repro steps are inconsistent. It certainly does not happen to all of our mythic and legendary crafts, but it has happened enough to clearly label it as a recurring issue. Thank you in advance for looking into the issue!

    bug Tames falling through floors and boats

    I wish there was something substantive I could offer up here to help nail down the root cause, or fix, but for now I'll simply add my two cents to the thread. This is something that Atlas Shrugged has seen happen to a large number of tames over the past couple weeks. It certainly is a frustrating issue, and I imagine it'd be quite the setback for some folks. Sometimes they're able to be saved, and other times, they're gone forever.... Tames are special; be it for personal or functional reasons. Folks are pretty darn passionate about the things they've tamed and it is certainly a setback when it your tame just disappears out of thin air. I'm hopeful this will be resolved in time though.
  3. We thought we'd share this with everyone on the forums before we get around to updating the information on the Taming Wiki page. Currently, the Wiki says it's not tameable, but Atlas Shrugged has proven that it is in fact tameable! This took some group coordination and quite a while to tame! After hitting a couple "learning hurdles", if you will, the team persevered and managed to complete the tame. I couldn't be more proud of the Atlas Shrugged crew on NA - PVE - The Hydra's Den server. We were really hoping it was a thatch farming beast, since there is not an effective thatch farming animal as far as we're aware. Unfortunately, it seems to be proficient in combat, but nothing in terms of farming resources. We had one company member report that it reflected a shot fired at its face right back at the person who fired the bullet and killed them! Have any other companies successfully tamed a Shieldhorn? Any idea if this is the first tame on official servers? We'd be pretty stoked if it was! Here's a picture of Cera (yep, from The Land Before Time) right in front of our marina at sunset, just after she made it home safely.

    I really hope something can be done. I completely understand, respect, and embrace the territory claiming functionality. We've been having health competition with other companies. But two companies on Eastdon Cay (E10) - Zero and ??????? - have undoubtedly been exploiting the system in some capacity. We've attempted to speak kindly with them, but it has not been productive. That's all fine an well, but what is really troubling is that we've attempted to replicate the type of land claiming they're engaging in and are completely unable to claim territory in the same way they are. We have 50+ members, with folks sleeping DIRECTLY NEXT to where they're placing flags. Their flag countdown timers all display a negative value in the thousands. We can deal with toxic griefers that play within the game mechanics, but this is clearly exploitative. Please help. We (Atlas Shrugged) are one of the largest companies in all of PVE - NA - Hydra's Den. As a result, we expect and encourage healthy competition. But it is tremendously concerning when it's possible that we could one day be wiped clean from a small group of exploitative folks that don't play by the rules everyone else does.

    Have to Remake Character?

    This is likely due to a glitch where upon death or disconnect, you're directed to the create character screen INSTEAD of respawn screen. This is happening to me as well. Five times now. Terribly game breaking. I lose everything. Alt + F4, task manager, etc. does not work.

I have restarted at level 1 five different times now. I level up to roughly level 8, die (or get disconnected) and when I respawn, I I am forced to create another character. I have attached an example of my current "respawn" experience (image). Whenever I load in, I'm prompted to create a new character. Troubleshooting Steps Thus Far I have continued to close the game client Re-log back in Select 'Rejoin Atlas' with no success (20-30 attempts minimum). In Steam UI, selected 'Verify Integrity of Game Files...' Restarted my PC numerous times. Tried join 'Join New Atlas' and selected ANY region. Happy to try anything else to work around this bug until it can be patched.

    I am in the same boat! This is a terrible bug. 5 characters later, I am again in the position where I cannot respawn.
