  1. Dear ATLAS developers and players (this is google translate essay) I care about this game because the basics and the climate you have created is incomparable to any other production. However, I must express my opinion on why this game will not be a success on the gaming market. Or rather it will slowly die. The game has classified itself to the genre of survival / sandbox / exploration / PvP - this is the basic assumption. Based on these basic assumptions of the game, you can put the most important game downs. Survival: - Vitamins are only a hindrance and annoy the players - they need a modification. Sometimes the player simply decides to die than spend extra minutes picking up supplies. There was no such thing in ARK. We got a food recipe for it, which we could create according to our preferences. There is no such thing here. - Drinking water is also an annoying difficulty. In hot climates there are not enough places to dig this water. There is no rain if we would like to collect this water. In the ark we could create an irrigation system without any problems (and it was a pleasure in itself) - In cold climates, the hunger rate drops even more and it is even harder to keep vitamins at a decent level. - Putting armor of different types carries too many penalties and leaves no free choice. We can wear heavy armor (the best in the game) only in moderate climates. - You should be more focused on the fantasy atmosphere. Wolves, lions and snakes are not too demanding opponents. The game in real climates is not very interesting. Why not add creatures from fantasy to the world of ATLAS? Something that created an actual threat, and perhaps a challenge for the player? - Taming and breeding is as annoying as boring. This is certainly not as much fun as in ARK. Seriously think about the whole revorkiem. - You created the game in the assumption of exploration and hence these annoying factors. There are no surprises, repetitive content. - Solo play is not possible. PvP: - PvP is very interesting. Fuck, he's awesome. Only that it does not bring any benefits beyond pleasure. The balance of benefits and effort is lacking. - To create an interesting situation for PvP, too much effort is required. We need a ship with cannons, weapons, 2-3 players. not just any ship, at least Schooner. It's not that the ship's farm is tiring, but building the ship itself takes too much time. - To assemble equipment for a good PvP, we need a few players where everyone specializes in something else. For PvP, we need a firearm, a ship, cannons, a grappling hook, maybe some animal with a trailer. For this we need at least 5 players in the game at the same time. Specializing in other fields - Solo play is not possible. Graphics: - We hear the sound of the night / day and suddenly the light goes out / lights up. It's unnatural. - Shadows move unnaturally with the camera. - Waves on the sea, if they are interesting, after some time they are boring. Storms are boring and undemanding. Rework! - Why is this mist at sea? - Gamma is totally unmatched. In winter climates, snow winks. The / gamma X command does not help at all. You must use this command non-stop to be able to play. I feel sorry for players who do not know this command. - Ships "ship of the damned" look like big motor boats, not like ships of the undead. Bugia: - Under the influence of waves at sea, the player is often under the last deck of the ship and it is impossible to get out without destroying the ship's side. - The guardians of the chest are hiding under the ground, despite being in a fight with the player.   2. Summed up in short Pre-crafted ships are Garbage. The excuse that exploits on ships are rampant is so lazy. No Blueprints, no use for resources, no use for sails. Just cookie cut versions that the devs which we already know are terrible at designing and implementing let alone following through with their ideas promised to expand upon. How? By allowing you to build 40 structures on the boat. Oh gee... They still have not fixed the bug where the precrafted ramming galleon's nose of the ship when down to 0 hp from 15k instantly sinks the boat despite the rest of the ship being repaired. If they cannot fix a precrafted ship thats been in the game since the start of the season why would you think they could bring in new boats that arent as broken if not more broken that what is currently in game. (wild how their solution to fixing something is to bring in a totally new system that's more flawed than the last) Some dev justified their job somehow by suggesting this swap is my guess. What are your thoughts about these pre-crafted ships and their effect on the future of PVP in the game. PVE aside. Also i feel the devs are brain dead with the new claim system they fail to realize mortars are a structure in this game capable of cross island hits. How are you going to defend against mortars when part of the island is in peace mortaring your part of the island in The new Kraken ship cannot turn without the sails open HOLY Crap thats terrible the new kraken ship also when the front or back plank are 0 hp Instantly sinks. Man Imagine still having a known bug in the "new" boat system and then adding onto it. If they implement the new system they should get rid of craft limits on blueprints and let it be like ark.We also neeed BP CRAFTING STATIONS to Craft the blueprints that require ALLOT of resources 500 slots please... This would make people farm more for resources not grind out RNG (what is this a fucking casino? ) for a bp that goes away after 2 fucking crafts or 5 sails.. after 5 months of looking for it.. that's garbage and you know it. We deserve infinity crafts on blueprints just like ark...this will push an economy into the game because you can sell pre-crafted boats for in game gold or other Blue-prints. New players could find a great gun port blue print or sniper or Armour and trade it for anything with another. If a mega tribe has multiple sail bps over a certain % it's in their best interest to trade them for things they lack.... Every one clutches their boats like pearls bc they are afraid to lose something they invested 4 months farming for. RNG in this game i repeat is garbage and you know it. NO ONE QUITS A GAME BECAUSE THEY CAN CRAFT AS MANY BOATS AS THEY WANT. combat.? @devs

I try to explain it in very easy words. a) you build warehouse and market b) you place large stone gates around c) some noob with 1 sloop and 1 cannon passes by d) noob shoots down the large stone gate and the warehouse e) game over, there in NOTHING you can do to prevent that. Solution : More HP to warehouses... MUCH more HP (like the market)
  4. Can someone please explain to me why this isn't turning blue? The foundation is exactly the right size. I've checked distances to other farmhouses. I have permission to place, and if I'm down on the beach, it will turn blue.
  5. I'm in a desert biome and it never rains. So I went the route of stone reservoirs and pipes. I started off with only the one on the right side of the screenshot. It was piped to a faucet on the first floor and irrigation pipes on the roof for small crop plots. That worked fine for a while but then it was clear that was not enough. So then I built the one to the left and connected a straight pipe running under the wood ramp to the original reservoir. I was expecting that pipe to equalize the amount of water in both. It did not. Also the other two I built on the left of that are also imbalanced. Is this normal? I've seen screenshots of people with multiple reservoirs connected. Even people doing 3x3 squares.   6. Here me out: I have been playing Atlas from day 1. I have never had an issue finding a nice island with nice island owners who want a taco loving pirate to settle on their on land. Since the 1 PVE map and farmhouse/warehouses, it seems settlers who play daily are not wanted on any owned island. I dont mind lawless, but claimed land always has a better QOL of life if the owners demo bed spams. I have been from island to island and sometimes I get lucky and build a small hut but no shipyards. And every time I try and settle, I get the age old "it's not you, it's me." I have even sailed far and wide when island names say "looking for settlers", only to have it change when I get there Now I am an easy going gal, I dont build ugly, I have some good jokes, I have a bear obsession, I have a loyal brother who rolls with me and I am a pretty great person in general. But I am trying to figure out why after however long Atlas as been out, I seem to be looking for love in all the wrong places. What has changed that has caused me to be rejected daily. Am I too blonde, am I not piratey enough? Do I have a lisp? Bad jokes? Is there anyone out there that needs to the love of a loyal taco loving pirate and her first mate/co captain brother and has a nice spot on some pretty land with room for 2 shipyards, a house and animal pen, maybe a smol a garden and some pretty flowers? Looking for our forever home or forever until next wipe home. Will anyone out there give this scallywag a home? I am looking for someone to invest me, could you be the one? Side Note to the Devs: Can we look at what you guys have changed that has caused this shift in many (I know its know being unloved when trying to settle? Can we get some more claimable islands? Can we give something to island owners to make it worth it, since the warehouses and farms seems to mean they dont need taxes? (I dont actually know this is the reason but it seems this may be a reason.) Can you give island owners a better reason to have more than 2 settlers who take the entire island for their builds?   7. Warehouses do not gather resources, they pull resources harvested from company owned farmhouses within it's massive radius. Why would it matter how close you build one warehouse to another company's? It makes sense for farmhouses, you are literally contesting a small radius of resources. The building restriction should only apply to your own company. Currently, only one company (whoever builds a warehouse first) can build a warehouse on a island as the restriction radius takes up 1/4 of the size of the standard island. Furthermore you limited players even more on this with the requirement to build a warehouse near water (why?).
  8. The crew on my ship shows me they want 1 gold every 2 hours. after 5 min. it jumped to every 5 hours then back to 2 hours. not sure if that is how it should be.
  9. Tier 3 taming and mostly maxed out taming tree. Bolas. Wheat. Taming pen. I don't understand why I can't tame elephants. I get the prompt to feed it wheat, but nothing happens. Hi, Network: EU PVP Grid: O14 Description of issue: This is in 0-14, frozen shores island (bottom left) When you are in our island and open the map it shows you in the wrong location, showing beds in the water for example. I noticed that the only problem is that the map as shown in the atlas is rotated 90 degress. To fix the problem seems easy, it would be just updating the atlas map and rotate this island 90 deg to the right (obviously i don't know how difficult could this be once coding) Any screenshots or video demonstrating the bug: This is the map as shown inside the game when you open atlas: This is how it should be, just rotated 90 deg to the right.   11. Please check the boom angle and sail bulge of Handling sail and Weight sail in relation to wind direction. I think is "OK-ish" to one side, but disastrously wrong the other side. Handling sail boom should always point more or less AWAY from the WIND. (Unless you press the boom by hand against the wind and you sail backwards!) Bulge should always be AWAY from the wind like the other sails. (You must make two alternating handling sail meshes or MIRROR sail mesh's x-axis when changing tack. you cannot just rotate all along y-axis) On Running wind (behind) the boom can be on either side (of your choice) (90 degrees to wind) and bulge forward. Suggesting to Google images "sail positions for points of sail" / Old sailor PS. Great game (800+ hrs)

Here's the math: Distance (m) Time (s) ㎧: KPH: MPH: Knots: 1000 55 =A2/B2 =C2*3.6 =D2*0.621371 =D2*0.539957 So it's converting m/s to KPH at *3.6 per and converting knots from KPH at 0.539957 So where is the error? Place a map marker and activate it on the sextant. Get up to speed. Mark down the current distance from the map marker and start a stopwatch. Go 1000 meters. Stop the stopwatch. Testing my galleon just now it took 42 seconds. During the test the knots display said ~13.5 knots. A 42-second kilometer is 24 m/s. A 42-second kilometer is 86 KPH. 86 KPH is 46 knots. So either the distance display or the speed display are *way* off. Which is it?
  13. (Official PVP) ATLAS is doomed, and this is why. A fantastic game world with superior game mechaniques + graphics but the worst game balance in the world. You trolls dont believe me ? Go out and check how many islands were claimed 2 month ago and how many are claimed today. Then you have your answer. Issue 1 : PVP is pointless ——————————————— Look, what do you need to raid anyone you want ? a) a raft of sloop (luxery) b) a cannon with ammo or some grenades (luxery, you can do well without) c) a grappling hook and a climbing tool Thats it. Stone is ridiculous weak, just a few hits and you are through. Thats it. You can easily place your cannon on a wooden foundation..pew pew game over. You can also drown any ship you want with your 1-cannon sloop. Thats really cancer for your game, as it is impossible to defend your assets with strong defences, only camouflage ninja techniques are working. Issue 2 : New content not wanted by the community but only by the devs. New content only available for big groups of players (Conan Exiles is successful, because everyone can achieve everything solo... if he is good !) ——————————————- a) You bring cats, did anyone ask for cats ? B) You DONT bring new ships, you dont bring new ship equipment and mechanics. IF you bring something new, like the sub, you lock it behind boss mobs only achievable by big groups of players. OK so I simply cant play with this issue and its been days I cannot interact with anything aswell as there is no tooltips such as tame name, lvl hp etc, no press E to mount, cant open doors or containers at all, I can get on a mount but my toon will sit off somewhere random or stay where it is and the mount will not move or do a thing. my animals are slowly starving to death and timers counting down that I cant get too since I cant use bed to fast travel, I can only stay connected for about 5 mins before battle eye says the game is unresponsive and that is only if it lasts that long before crashing for a diff reason. I ran repir tool many many times with no success so I then tried a full uninstall the re downloaded and installed the game, its exactly the same however, my pc is far beyond recomendations so everything is slowly starving and timing out that isn't where my toon is atm, I am soo frustrated lol any1 know how to resolve this or having the same issue
  15. If you activate a markable position on the sextant, the position that is showed on the hud is the wrong direction sometimes. (long distance) if its on short distance (2grids), in the first seconds the marker seem to have the right position but it will not move after some minutes it will behind you. It doesnt seem to be updated.

  17. I setup a 1x1 grid and launched. I am able to see it in server list and attach. Other people on my lan cannot see it. I tried:Forward the ports, which should be unnecessary for local, but maybe that how it's published.Tried 127.0.0.1 on my launch bat and map gridTried my 192 address on my lan on my launch bat and map gridTried my external IP on my launch bat and map gridTurned of Windows firewalls to test I am looking through the unofficial Atlas list, and I see it. Nobody else on my LAN doesThe other day they could all get on. Now only I can. No idea where to go from here. I can see it, nobody else can.
  18. Would you, please, fix handling sails alignment? It shows properly on upper right icon, but 3d drawn at wrong angle, which is really confusing and prevent me from using them. The way Handling Sails are drawn now they would pull ship back or side and never ahead.   19. Did the developers say they were going to base atlas after Eve, the game that had a max player base of 6k for its entirety? If I looked up the right game on steam charts(yes, it was actually the first time I looked it up), then ok, I completely understand where most of these guys are coming from. I promise I will go easy on everyone now. i get the whole 5k people is enough and that when numbers seem very low some people don’t think it is that way. God, I wish I would have looked that up 6 months ago. Why do you think I base everything off of ark numbers? I am an ark player that is used to anywhere from 50-100k on the game. my bad, yeah atlas isn’t doing that bad in this case. Not being sarcastic either. I promise I am not. I do have a new understanding and I will now act accordingly. talk about apples and oranges. Smh at myself

  22. Issue: When starting the game and getting into the main menu game will automatically join the wrong server (empires.) This only occurs after launching the game and I am still able to quit that server and join the correct server. Version: All versions. This has been a present issue since the first public version.
  23. As you craft items in your inventory, you weight goes up. This is wrong. When you take raw materials, and craft something in real life, the end result is significantly lighter than the total weight of the materials you began with. There is a lot of wasted material, and that weight ends up in the waste bin.
  24. The EU PVE server has crashed on me 7 times so far with that unable to query shit and ive also gotten 4 fatal error crashed today alone! And yes I have verified the game files twice today.
  25. Everytime I verify integrity of game files it says that 1 file is wrong, but it doesn't fix it and when I verify again the file continues being wrong. Any way to stop this so I can play? I can't connect to any server.
