  1. but you recieve them if you do! You can forgive the confusion - look at the eastern most island in I5
  2. I don't mind it being difficult, I don't mind it taking a long time. Just make it possible for people who go to bed at 00:00 midnight and get home from work at 17:00 to be able to at least be able to do it, even if you end up with a lesser quality bred animal due to missed imprints.
  3. After the wipe, discovery points per level cap were raised to 34-35 point per new level cap. But with the new doubling of points and 2 points per discovery, it's actualy faster now as it's only 17-18 discoveries per new level cap.
  4. That sounds suspiciously like the island we picked but found we could not afford, would that be Shipwreck island?
  5. We use Fish & Chips and Pork pies, all 4 vitamins and a lot of food. I initialy thought the orange bar didn't move but it does, just realy slow compared to the other bars, confirmed by still having the eating buff on screen. These two foods keep our company well fed and vitamin ballanced at all times - they are also not hard to make and are on the lowest cooking teir.
  6. The temperature thing wouldn't be so bad if the damage they took from heat / cold didn't scale faster than the creatures hit points increased, so they are more likely to die the more mature they become.
  7. Don't worry about spending 500 - 1000 of weight to make it look good. Mine is 7500 - 8000 empty. 3 decks - bottom, middle for moving about the ship and top for aft-castle / work room. Designed for ease of tame transport, can easily hold 4-5 elephants or other large tames and over a dozen bears or meduim tames in the hold - on lowest deck. fore-castle for beds and kit storage, aft-castle has a full workshop and balcony for Wheel, and a forge under the ramp, convert some metal to ingots for weight saving when collecting metals.
  8. The points spent are needed, but I agree having them combined in the make part of the tree is wrong. I could see a use and a make path in each skill tree, using quality items being cheaper and at the top of each tree and the make being simmilar to how it is now.
  9. Nope, not being sarcastic, just echoing a sugestion a made back in March. Gun decks look so empty, placing a cannon in a gunport should add all the paraphernalia associated with a cannon around it. Conversly if placing a cannon not at a gunport, having a custom build piece that had all the paraphernalia to snap a cannon to fits this concept. Once you have a build piece like this, you can easily set rules for placement - eg. don't want stacked cannons, make it obstruct ceilings above it.
  10. While levers on ships would be nice, you can already switch on all lights with "o" when on the wheel.
  11. Resevoirs won't fill other resevoirs but water can be drawn from both. water only seems to flow when needed. Note: not tried filling jars in an empty resevoir connected to a full one, but a tap beyond the empty one can be used.
  12. H6 will be the one i'll be using, details please if you don't mind.
  13. Now they just need to introduce a cannon emplacement building piece, like a ceiling but with ropes, chocks, powder keg and brass monkeys. To make it look like a cannon should be placed there.
  14. I5 - Tecumlinet Skerry has fields of jute (fibre), very fast to get 100k with a bear. I5 - Shipwreck Island has scores of iridium nodes, constructed paths up to the mountain tops means we use 6k weight elephants and a pick when we need metal.
  15. Tamed my first elephant since these reports started last night. I found little difference, but I wasn't looking to feed it from the wrong place so I don't know about the "e" at the wrong place thing. Sweet spot was a little smaller, one time had a rock on the sweet spot so just dodged in and out using the bola timer to count down the 15secs between feeding. For tier 3's I wouldn't mind there being no sweet spot, it would make the harder tames a constant activity you need to plan for with armour / shield, food buff's, shoulder pet's, because shoot, bola, stand still for 2 min's hitting "E" every 15 seconds is only taxing if you get outside interferance.
  16. Maybe put a blue line on the sextant minigame compass, indicating direction of undiscovered discoveries in the region.
  17. There was a mod on ark that had dock pieces that extended the corner posts down to the sea floor. Not sure if it was S+, but they sure looked good and was only 1 piece, not 1 ceiling and a dozen pillars. idea for Dock piece described above: Press 'T' for 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 - 0 pillings also for 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 - 0 pillings with bollard. Press 'E' to rotate Make wood & stone versions, same look as ceilings so you can set spacing as you desire.
  18. The sweet spot is between the front and back legs, by it's belly and facing its head. You can also run right up to it's head and hope you feed it before it hit's you, if you do, the feed animation kicks's in and you should have enough time to dodge back out of range. (not tried this with elephants but it works with bears, was how i tamed stuff before I knew about the sweet spot )
  19. I f you get killed by a meat eater, it will eat your body. your items will be in the bag left behind.
  20. Are you intent on keeping breeding locked behind a "no-life" requirement?
  21. Sometimes get the "E" for feeding but cant feed, but as you can edge closer and you can feed, so i figured it was being just on the limit and that the text comes up just before the ability to use it works. tier 3's are tricky, and i think that is good. was taming bears, crows and giraffes this weekend. bears are just easy now, getting a crow into a cage is always messy but fun, giraffes are tricky I get hit quite a few times, the sweet spot is there just small. being prepared is key. Tip: always wear plate armour and have a monkey on your shoulder. so you take very little damage and it regens pretty fast with a good monkey buff.
  22. If you have a wall visable through the floor at the top of some stairs you can slide on it, on a ship it can chuck you out the back. Check your ship constuction, that could be the issue.
  23. Had the same friday, posted in bugs and put in a ticket. Next day when started Atlas had a popup screen telling me to install battleye, that fixed it.
  24. Yep, structures can obscure the feeding option, if you are going to trap tames use pillars as they obscure much less than other building pieces.
  25. can you be more specific, as the food we use lasts ages, 4-5h spoil timer and if in a preserving bag it will get used before even 1 spoils.
