  1. 1 central structure that feeds all the npcs on 1 island with gold and food.

  3. That is correct. I want ark 2.0 and not a "pirate" game. I also want the pvp to be more fluid and to have more tames for it, and faster firing hitscan weapons.
  4. this is not a pirate game, its multiplayer sandbox survival game, steam punkish mostly. only thing "pirate" is some of those retarded skins. id like to see more tech and tames.
  5. If that would be the case, the smaller companies too will have a chance to increase their numbers, due to all that fresh blood coming in. Again allowing them to retain their islands. But it is not going that way. The steady numbers are here because of ORP, and let us face it, majority of PVP official players that have remained now belong to a zerg company (over 50 strong). Vast majority of initial players though, hated the idea of being in a larger company, where honestly, regular players are reduced to a repairman and farmer role, and a meat shield case of war. All the fun in a zerg is had by owner and admins The rest can be kicked whenever the owner and admins decide they dont slave/farm/obey that much, or if they build something owner does not like. Some remained in the zerg, exclusively because sense of security in a herd. Majority of players, that we have seen in the launch, were solos or buddies, who wanted their own thing. Failing to do that, they already left ATLAS. If devs continue to cater to zerg, and don't offer something spectacular fro pvp official solos or small, it is not gonna get bigger. One of the handicaps that come to mind is reduced resource farm intake the more members you have. up to 10 members = no penalty. Each aditional member=less yield per node. But I can understand that now from their perspective. Zerh is all they have left. So now they must cater to them-
  6. Please do that, pleeeeease - allow them to feed from claim flag or in case of tennants, a different structure. Or screw the tennants, leave that option to owners. Another suggestion would be to allow banks to do it automatically and allow tennants to use banks only for that purpose. Or allow res boxes to feed whole island with dropdown list of defense stations to feed or not. Or, “feed company npcs” allowed or disallowed for specific res box. With “land and ship”, “only land” and “only the ship” options, thus retaining the ability to feed only the ship its placed on. Another thing to consider is easily mount npcs on high areas like platforms and cliffs without having to drag them and without them stuck when whistling to a cannon. Because atm it is a major chore, consider doing the same to food at least. I know ammo should not be fed from central structure, and it should be left as it is.
  7. Sad to see so many bases are little to no passively defended, without consideration for many different attack and tame types. Yet they whine about being raided.
  8. True. Lvl 80s with huge health pools and ascended flak make guns even more useless. In ark we could 3 shot anyone with ascended snipers because some of us could land 3 consecutive hits on target. Tested the 150 carbine on blue flak headshot, it does NOT one shot 200+ health. Not even close. Devs really hate guns I see. Plus, only zerg admins have the luxury of having lucky reload perk, others have to do with utility perks, unless they respec to oblivion, which is boring af.
  9. Idk if I am agreeing with you - probably not, because I think more peace phase would be welcomed. This game owes its steady player numbers to ORP. To weaken the ability to wipe someone would do well to increase casual numbers.
  10. They count as thatch with big hp pool. Just give them a volley with galleon.
  11. Aye, compared to Ark, Atlas pvp is something I do not enjoy at all; ship fights can be fun however so I am sticking to that, because honestly, I am waiting for more land pvp diversity, combat tame diversity, and ship diversity.

Generally, I think they are a mild annoyance because it takes what 2 nades to clear one, as I am certain you already know, combined with the fact that cannons outranges it, and human targeted cannon outranges AI operated one, if a defender is inexperienced enough to set puckles within horse cannon line of sight. And once they are out, thats it. Nakeds can run free. They will stop a naked , fair enough, if a naked is dumb enough and runs in their range and if naked is not a sick lvl with huge hp pool, but their stopping power vs plate is insufficient, and IMO should be better. Edit: In ATLAS, passive defenses are underpowered compared to ark ones, and you rely almost exclusively on your ship/manpower and tame power for defense. And in 20v1 , or. 60 vs 6 situations , zerg can dps enemy tames 6 times the faster, and unless they are total noobs, victory is guaranteed.
  14. You can not conquer a well defended island in 9 hours anyway. You can just grief the ships and a port lol.
  15. What is more funny, so many of the people getting absorbed into a zerg doesn’t even enjoy it. All the fun ina zerg is had by owner and leaders/admins, it would seem. They can build what they want, how they want, tame what they want and do what they want in a zerg. Freedom to do what you will and when you will is an invaluable commodity for me. Sad truth though is, zerg will always rule. They can farm far more than you and they can zerg by fa rmore than you. In fact, so much so, tat they can afford naked midgets with carbines, hooks and nades run around and just dps you and your tames over and over , while you are in full bp armor, fighting 20 on 1. And those 2 things - resources and manpower - are only thing that matters in pvp. Skill has not much do do with any of it.

  17. Claimed an island from day 0, did not have 1 ship sunk yet on my home soil. I admit it was hard for a small group before, now with x2 gold being a thing i can farm 10k just from nearby maps, and with crew double as cheap as it was before, it is actually manageable. 10k from just an hour or two of grind plus many settlers in my island enjoying my low taxes making that ammount last for over a week. With cleverly put combat phase when no one in EU would attack, you can have eternal peace onan island, like me, and only go to raid lawless and other claim to worry about.
  18. Think I saw over 100 people on I7 a day ago, and I think I can tell for certainty what zerg dwells there now. It looks problematic for tennants to cope with constant enemy zerg ships and attacks there, and 30% is not a small tax number. Good luck in attracting tennants though; hopefully next big patch attracts more people in Atlas, we all need fresh blood.
  19. When you build your base and fllet, and tame all the animals, what is the point of continuing to play pve?
  20. I do not care about realism, I like it a lot. People who ganked my npcs annoyed me. Now finally I can go solo farm rares and leave swivels on ship lit without having to disperse my players further by assigning them boring jobs of guarding a ship while I farm.

  22. What is the filename of plate chest and what is the filename of human? Ie. -sign-small-C.png is for sign.
