My game keeps crashing every 10 minutes to my Xbox home screen while playing offline. I just moved and don't have internet. What could be the issue?

Atlas is much better with ships fighting other ships at sea etc. than blowing a plank or 2 off of an anchored ship whose owner is offline Let them damage whatever they want if a ship is unprotected, but for the sake of fun it should not sink if anchored It's not the most realistic solution but a 15ft tall ship anchored in 3 feet of water sinking isn't very realistic either

Combat phase is too long. It should be 6 or 7 hours. There is value in making a game playable for people who do other things too A very average person with a job can not be available for 9 hours straight. A company all based in the same country (obviously USA) should not be expected to be online for that long. This is assuming the point of peace phase is to prevent offline raiding. A company should also not be required to recruit people from multiple companies in order to cover the combat time slot Obviously my island was raided last night for a couple of hours after we went to bed (because we are productive members of society) and all of our ships were destroyed. The alternative of combat phase starting 3 hours before we would be home in the afternoon is not really any better Sure, it's pvp mode but fighting npc crew and anchored ships is not pvp. There is no npc setup that can stop just a few players from destroying *at least* all of your ships even for a couple of hours

first off, sorry english is not my native language. One of the biggest problems with offline ship-sinking is about the *one damaged plank = sinking* Suggestion: If you anchor your ship for the night, it gets a buff, after X straight hour/s, which makes it impossible to sink with just one damaged/missing plank. You actively need to destroy 1/4 of all planks to make it sink and be able to salvage it. Pros: - it is a lot harder to sink anchored ships - not possible straight after battle - you can still steal the resources inside the ship Cons: - i don't know, but there are always cons.

The island I live on once had a player count of over 85 every day. Then Chinese companies repeatedly rolled in and sunk ships while we got at most 5 hours of sleep. Most of them left for this reason. Today once again, a company rolls in and sinks EVERY ship on our island while we slept. Some companies are small, some have 20+ people in them. None of it matters when youre offline. We had two towers with 15 NPCS each in them. All with varying distances on range, the ships had cannons also manned, costing me almost 1k gold a day for defenses. None of it mattered. If you're going to allow people to offline raid your ships, then cut the cost on them by 60% so it doesnt take 4 hours smacking trees and fiber to gather the resources to replace them. This is why people are fed up. The common answer, "Join a LARGE company". Well from the many people within large companies, that spend hours smacking trees, only to have the box they drop the wood in Pin coded to admin, or any other number circumstances, no thank you. This game is labeled as an MMO but with now tiles that take 30 minutes to get across, featuring a population of 20 PEAK hours, its not so massive anymore. The mechanic for offline raiding NEEDS to be fixed through either balancing, or some other way. Ive got 500 hours into this game at this point, and am just about ready to hang the towel.

Just a heads up to ask for an Offline Mode of the game, like it already exists in Ark. I love playing with friends, but I also like learning the ropes in a custom environment like the one you gan get in an Offline Mode. More than that, the Editor is coming and that means lots of mods. I like testing and even creating custom content for games, but it's difficult to test your content when you don't own a server. Please consider an Offline Version for Atlas.

First off this is a first post to your forum. Kudos to the Devs for working these crazy hours and through the holidays releasing the EA for the game. This discussion is with regards to the offline ship sinking that is truly causing people to leave the game. People talk about Region locks fixing this but I disagree with that idea. This will just reduce the game population too much, and I think diversity is good as long as no one is cheating. Below is a proposed fix ***Offline Ship Raiding Fix*** Companies that are 100% offline and ships are Anchored will receive an armor/HP bonus to PVP attacks both Cannon or fire related. HOWEVER....This scales based on company size. For example. A 3 man company that is 100% offline will recieve 100% of the bonus armor/HP. A 20 man company will only recieve a 80% reduction and so on. My thoughts are that large companies should have more diverse players allowing some someone to almost always be online. Take a look at this pole someone started on the subject.....https://strawpoll.com/9w6fshd6 Let me know what you guys think. I hope a Dev or two sees this and seriously adds to whatever plans they are working on for this issue, or considers my fix. **Just so everyone knows...I have 266 hours of game play as of this writing. So Ive seen quite a bit of all sides of the game to make this writing.

fire arrow are ruining the game. its not even close to real life. this is a pirate game not medieval age.. everyone uses them. for they are op. guns have a extremely slow reload time that is good. and a game whit slow range weapons and melee weapons make it balance .and to make a weapon that is not even what Classic pirates use(what we think when we think of pirates) and make it so op... so everyone uses them. i will say your falling hard. (Story time)in this world with pirates and dragons you stand there white your heavy armor and weapons ready to sink the enemy ship , and then you see its only one man on the ship with a bow and some fire arrows .you begin to laugh for yourself and prepare to crush your enemy with just a bow......what you didn't know,,, is its not just an arrow whit fire on it..no,no,no,no,no its made of chlorine trifluoride. and burst insane fire where it lands and kills everyone moving over it......... …. ......…. ...…. G....G..... then we have some more funny things with this fire arrows in this game. when your offline you only need 1 guy to sink your ship... ONE..not one whit a ship that have cannons on it and pay crew to help him fire. but one whit a bow, yes I can agree that in real life setting a wooden ship on fire works great.but in real life your fleet is defended 24.7 with many men,, that can easily stop 1 guy whit a bow. and you may think i'm in rage and saying this for i have lost ships to ppl this way then i say to you no.,i am the one thaT done it. if you like to have fire arrows in your game i can understand, but then try to consider it to only burn things like wood trees planks so on. not grass dirt stone and so on. and maybe think that more then one arrow on same spot to make it burn. and this is a GAME maybe make it so that you can't sink anchor ship with fire. yes i know that you can but for this is a game. using cannons and so on, on an anchor ships make it more playful than just one guy whit a bow. this game have so good potential. i just hope you make it more pirate. good selling fellow pirates and traders and see you all on EU pvp!
