Oh believe me I get your frustration with the game. The first ship I lost was when the ghost ship used to come right into the harbours and destroy everything, I left the game then, for a day then I was back on again. Altogether I think i've lost 4 or 5 ships mainly schooners and when it happens you just feel like throwing in the towel, I get it. It isn't fun when you spend days building something and take like less than 5 minutes to sink, especially when it's no fault of your own. About a week ago I was sailing in G6 getting metal, loaded ship up and was sailing back (on my own) and I have no problem in sailing ships myself even without NPC. The trouble for me was sailing out to sea and my game crashes (shooter game error.) I'm panicking like crazy trying to log on while my ship is sailing into the abyss. It took my about 3 or 4 minutes to actually get back on and find myself up against a ghost ship, turned the sails quickly and headed off and the steering wheel snaps. I did not have any spares so nothing I could do, to late as the panel was smashed also, sunk. My mistake was not making extra panels but for the game to crash like that I mean come on? I'm just like everyone else, frustrated but for me I usually calm down after a day or 2 and give it another go. I don't think they are doing a good job with the game though, they seem to work backwards sometimes and do not listen to what the community are saying. I do enjoy it but I get why you are frustrated and you have every right to be.

It was actually quite frustrating for me to do this even when following video. I made the mistake on a large sail and it painted 1 design over 3 flags instead of 1. Watch this video and see if the template is on this website, I used the large sail template. You have to open it up in another programme to put the image over the template. It's an easy change, really don't understand why they don't just bang it in with the updates that regularly occur. How hard is it to change the decay time? Just like with structures after 4 days. If you're serious enough that has a boat and doesn't want to maintain it yourself then get an NPC on there. There is no reason rafts and boat should be littered along the shore, ridiculous.

We have the bears but never tried breeding yet. They should only have you jump through hoops for alpha cubs. They shouldn't be that hard for normal animals. Obviously this system is broken like alot of things right now.

Just to add to this, I logged in today and went to take the elephant out, realised it is not there. I'm running around trying to find it to see if it wandered off. Nowhere to be seen so I checked the log and it said "your elephant was killed by a cobra" they are all in a secure area yet a cobra can kill tames? Come on, sort this out. You want us to test the game for you well here is a major flaw for us all, please fix it.

Yes there is definitely land available it's whether you want to sail for hours on end trying to find it. Do you want to spend days/weeks sailing until you come across a piece where you can contests it? I know I don't. The claim system is broken and I'd rather stay on lawless until they either fix it or server wipe. When you can spam flags all over the place it is not worth going for land. I mean 1 person can claim a whole island if the current system stays, ridiculous.

Well you better pull those ladders up and fast. It's sinkable because weight still registers when you are attached to the ladder, you don't have to be standing on top. They have have stopped you getting on other peoples ships but not the ladders. I really hope they fix it, it needs fixing ASAP, it spoils the game for genuine people.

Haven't even attempted it, you're supposed to get special effects and took back to 20yr old right? I haven't bothered with it after hearing the hassle it's causing. I don't even know why they have the age thing in the game, this could have been implemented down the line when they are more capable of doing it. I've reached 100, been stuck there for the past week, I don't mind as long as I don't get reset back to 0 on all my skills and points.

Some people just don't have the time to sail for hours at sea to look around every island. There is no way I'm going to go through each grid running around to every red flag area on the map just to see if it's contested, waste of time. There very well maybe land out there to take but nobody in their right mind is going to spend weeks of their life trying to find 1 small piece to place a flag, ridiculous. The system is broken and you should not be able to spam your flag all over the place. If it cost you gold to put down each flag like first flag is free, second is say 1000G the next is 10,000G then I wouldn't have a problem with that. I'm currently on lawless and it's just as fun and play on there than it is on flag territory, I would say it's even better as you get less hassle and build what you want. No thanks I will wait until they decide to fix the system before I go looking for land but to others who do go out looking for week on end then I say good luck to you all and wish you the very best.

Had the same trouble the other day, sloops are everywhere because they are easy to get from free port, pre made ships are becoming a nightmare. One was sitting at ours that was in the way, been there for weeks kept hoping someone would just move it but nope. Managed to sink it in the end not that I like to do that sort of thing but it's the only way to get rid of the crap that sits around your shipyard. If the ladder is down on the back, it's sinkable, if it's not you are stuck with it for a very long time until they sort the mess out in game. Eventually some sort of server wipe will be needed, it's starting to get to the point where it's to clustered. I don't want a server wipe but I understand why it's needed.

Well they need to rename this in game, it's certainly not a "cargo" cart. I have no use for trailing a cannon around with me on PVE, looks like it will stay in the storage box for ever. I had the impression you could put things in it being a cargo cart.

Me and a friend were sailing in J9 on PVE server freeport near in middle of the map when my friend saw an island. He said do I see it also? I couldn't see it on my map, it was just open sea on mine. He decided to sail into the island to see if it was actually there and he hit land and he ended under the water. About 10 second later he came out of it and managed to get the ship away from it, there seemed to be no damage. He took screenshots of the island he hit in J9, he has asked me to upload these as he is unsure how to do so.

I've just unlocked this skill line and got the accordion. I was under the impression when you put the musical notes onto it you can auto play the song. The keys are just to fast to play for me right now. It would be good if there was an option for it to play the song for you when you put the notes on there.

One of these days you will pull in and find your ship sunk with weight glitch, be careful what you wish for.

Can anyone tell me if these are working right now? I've only just made 1 for my bear and everytime I put it on I don't seem to be able to pick more things up than without it, the weight within the bear stays the same when you take it off. I thought you could access the cart itself but going upto it does not give me an option like pressing E for inventory. Maybe I'm putting it in the wrong place?

Pve is much better, if there was no pve i wouldn't be playing at all simple as that. I just hope they add alot more things at freeport shops, nothing there apart from a uniform.

As far as i know you can't do this, whistling my own ladder doesn't work nevermind anyone else.

You can also see a list of players on the server you're on through Steam itself. Just shift tab and goto players in game and it will show a list of players you're with. Unless your profile is private people will see you on game and join you.

Why can't there be no option in the game mechanics where only company members weight registers on ships? Anybody else getting on it will not add to the weight. I don't know why they've had to do this feature where you get stuck, it's happened to me a couple of times but i've since tried to stay away whilst jumping near water. Surely there is a way for other peoples weight to not register outside the company. The only solution right now to get free is punch until you have no stamina which will mean you lose health and die.

We have that company here ???? the Chinese have dominated most of the grids, not by legitimate means either. Most of them are cheats, can't play any other way but cheat. If most of these Chinese companies were gone I don't think anybody would have a problem with claim flags, that's how bad it is with the Chinese companies.

Had the same trouble a couple of weeks ago but was only a raft. Left the previous company and could no longer interact with the raft or remove it in anyway. I did not find a solution to this so had to leave the raft there, it was there for a long time but i've since left the area and the other company so no idea how long it takes. Maybe someone else knows the answer to this but I think many have the same trouble.

I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed.

I've lost count at how many times I've raged and said that's it i quit only to log back on the next day. I can share your frustration, I've lost 5 ships mostly down to the game not me. These things are going to happen unfortunately but doesn't make it any easier.

Yes as someone already said if you leave the area it resets, not sure the distance but try to stay close by. If you don't kill them all in certain time they go into the ground and resets again. I didn't even try to do maps before until someone gave me tips on here. The tip is to tame a bear or tiger and take it with you. You will be surprised at how easy it is. Put it this way, it took literally 15-20 seconds to kill all and I just got 2000 gold last night.

There is an option to load bear on ship? No I did not know this, i've always just used follow me. I will check this out thanks for telling me.
