  1. It said that my schooner (Salty sailor) was destroyed.
  2. This is the info from my original ticket. I was asked to post here instead. The ship was at half weight, I had just used it about 2 hours prior, I had only 3 crew on board repairing. i was logged in and saw it sink. I inspected the hull after and had no missing planks. I think after sinking 1 plank out of 28 was at 1300 hp My wreck was initially fully intact but i saw the owner of the settlement try to plunder it. I though only you could plunder your ships but maybe that changed as just recently started playing again after the first major wipe. On an unrelated note I lost another schooner the day prior to a cyclone. I had 4-5 points in both sinking and resistance and the ship damage was so bad and instant i could not respond. I have never seen that much damage from a storm and I have played over 1300 hours. By The Avatar DC Sunday at 10:33 PM Platform: PC Your Pathfinder First Name: Cindylynn Your Pathfinder Family Name: mcgee Your Company Name: mcgees Network: NA PvE Colonies Ticket Type: Other Server Grid: N8 The date this issue occurred: 10/27/2018 ATLAS Coordinates: 77.72 4.69 My anchored schooner sank for no reason while anchored. It appears to have no damage when checking the hull.
  3. Allow the large shipyard to make any size ship to include rafts. people could still build the other structures if they choose to build multiple size ships at the same time. This could cut down on the amount of shipyards. Add an option to the small shipyard to upgrade it to a large shipyard. Upgrading would dredge the area to allow the larger boats to be built. Placing any shipyard would dredge the area below it to the minimum depth required to prevent damage and clear any rocks.
  4. We should keep character info past the wipe. Keeping the character info is no different than taking your existing character to a map in an Ark cluster that you have not visited before. Also level is not that powerful in this game. You basically get access to build more stuff. When it comes to fighting level does not seem to matter as much. I am level 57 and still get my butt kicked by a low level Cobra if they catch me unprepared or without good armor. The best reason to keep the levels is players will still have a purpose to log in until the wipe. I personally don't care about rebuilding. I constantly go to new servers to explore and build bases. If you at least keep character info players will at least be able to get discoveries and continue to level up. I doubt that many people have cheated to get levels and those that have are not really that overpowered due to the design of the game. If you are worried about skills just do a forced repec after the wipe.
  5. You obviously have better luck than I do. I play on PvE and lose ships all the time to either SoD ships , my lack of parking skills, sand bars etc. I actually had a cluster of 7 SoD ships swarm me and then knock me in the water where I was able to have a better view of them my sinking Schooner full of gold <iframe src="https://www.googletagmanager.com/ns.html?id=GTM-5F22G6" height="0" width="0" style="display:none;visibility:hidden" title="Google Tag Manager">Google Tag Manager</iframe>
  6. They spawn in packs. The screen shots does not show it but there were like 7 ships 1 of which knocked me in the water. of course ship was destroyed before i could get back aboard
  7. NPCs- make them like the wild tames where you can give them a function to help out around your base. Maybe add skill trees to them to make them better at what the assigned task is (sailor, miner, farmer, act as security with swivel guns or cannons on base etc.) They could all preform sailing etc. at level 1 ability but could get better based on how you level them. So, if you spend all your points in farming, they will just be a below average sailor. Make them reduce speed if they detect damage (like a sandbar). I can jump off a ship and the boat stops. Let the NPCs react a bit. If you have crew space allow crew to repair not sailing ship while sailing instead on when anchored. Don’t count tames as crew but take the tames weight as a factor instead. Add the ability to recruit the NPCS without going to a Freeport. Maybe build a recruitment board for base where gold is deposited. Should cost more than Freeport as you are paying for their transportation to your base. Maybe the amount goes up based on distance from closest Freeport. This will help if you decide to build a large ship. If you are a small company or solo, you risk getting destroyed getting to a Freeport as you can’t fully control the ship by your self and you would not have to deal with repairing the ship by being in a Freeport zone.
  8. Make all gatherers passive tames but add gathering levels like the Therizinosaurus from Ark. This way they are easy to tame initially but you have to work with them to make them more effective at gathering. Add the option to turn off berry collection. Add combat levels to predator tames that make them more effective eventually the more you work with them (stay as bolo tames) Bears, Elephants etc. would still have their base damage but would not have option for combat levels so they would not be the perfect choice for a combat mount. So, for example, a fully combat leveled wolf of a similar level would be more powerful than a bear as the bear does not have the option to increase combat levels
  9. Increase the amount of tames that are passive tames. Seems kind of weird to beat up a passive animal to tame it. Maybe make an exception with passive tames like the gathers like Bears, Elephants etc. (leave them bola tames) With aggressive animals like wolves , lions etc. bola taming makes sense. For example it seems weird to attack and bola a small bird to tame it. I agree with all the rest of posts that you need a thatch tame as not all islands have the kind that a bear can collect.
  10. I reported this as well but have not heard anything back yet. Mine are the boxy looking buildings :-). I initially had a little more here but made a mistake with a company and stuff got demolished before the GM helped me correct it. Just noticed my post above
  11. To be honest I cant remember the selection. I was using a controller and spinning the wheel to make a selection . I had a one man company so you would hope there would be a warning that I was the final member of the company and once I left the stuff would still exist until it decayed as no one could still use it. I have actually have a support ticket, used Discord, used twitter and still have not received a response either way as to whether this can be corrected or not. It likely wont matter because by the time I do finally hear back the decay timer will be done and stuff will be able to be demolished.
  12. Does the support ticket process actually work? I have had a ticket since Saturday 01/26/19 and have heard nothing. The ticket has does have views but no answers.
  13. I just did the same thing...let me know if you hear anything...this is very frustrating. If I had known it worked like this I would not have joined another company
