You made it so we can't glide from the tops of mountains? Really? Why? Seriously the stuff you do makes absolutely no sense! Gliding is one of my favorite parts of Atlas and to do some of the maps and gather resources on tops of the pillars on islands sometimes a very NECESSARY part. Why on earth would you make it that we can only glide the height of a lighthouse? It is absurd I will ask nicely that you please change it back and ASAP. Of all the things to nerf... What is the point of a glider if you can't glide from the tops of pillars and mountains? Do any of you actually PLAY Atlas? Because it sure doesn't seem like it to me.

- You do not care about the people who play this game. - Scrap the gold for ships - First fix all the bugs fix the lagging - Give Xbox their own server - Listen to the people who play this game and did play this game - Fix the invisible warehouse and farmhous on non dedicated servers (i only play this sometimes to keep track) - Every time you send out a fix or update people have more problems first test what you make on a test server, it normel to have some problem but not this much. happy christmas for the people who play Atlas, and i hope Santa keeps the devs at the north pole To continued

I just tested the "new gliders". All we get to do is skim on the ground. They are basically out of the game now. I have one thing to say about it. Screw you developers. Seriously, go fork yourselves with your stupid new bear hats. You just removed the only fun thing in this game. Shame on you.

If you ordered a meal at a restaurant and it wasn't cooked properly, are you saying unless you could cook just as well as the chef you have no right to complain? As paying customers we have a right, even an obligation to point out when the service or product doesn't meet our expectations. Your post is patently absurd. Yes, it is in early access, but if no one points out when things aren't going in the right direction guess what the full release will end up like, if we ever actually get there?

Season 3 still had island claims. I'm talking about the original flag, that gave you a circle, fairly small. They said they were reverting back to something similar to season 1. That does not imply that it will be the same as season 1. If you remember, the worst part of that system was the unlimited use of flags. Granted you also had 200 member companies at the same time. That was a stupid stupid idea, that could have been a decent idea by simply giving every person 1 single flag. Or even better, giving only 1 flag per company, no personal flags. IDEALLY, they abandon the idea of flags altogether. Make all islands lawless. Restore the size of the original map. Give us the ability to keep our super expensive ship safe (without another super expensive structure that can still be breached). You know, things that would encourage and support the idea of being on the sea more. But first, lets get rid of any one company owning an entire island, let alone a whole grid.

When will it be back up for Xbox Devs? Will you do a role back because you let pc players run free for a day and a half? Good who friggen knows the damage this update has done to all of your Xbox players. How many npc just ran out of gold. How many Xbox players are getting raided. How many ships sunk in the Freeport because people couldn’t repair? ROLE BACK THE SERVERS!!!!!! I bought this game as a gift for two different people yesterday and they couldn’t even get on. I have bin trying to get people to try this game out for a long time. This game is in development. So I am fine loosing my tames and ships I have spent days on to glitches. but the type of game you are creating here really is dependent on your consistent involvement and attention. A survival game you need to play to survive. buy allowing pc players to play wile Xbox can not is sorta the last straw for me. At first I thought people in these forums were hard on you. But now I see that the attention to detail is horrific. it is almost like you don’t even play. What was in the update yesterday night that was even worth this. You like ark taming go play ark!! The idea of these type of survivor empire games is great. I love this game. The players are loyal and all they do is play atlas. When you have such a great player base who love the game so much you have a responsibility to them. You do not deserve the players you have and you will not get new players after the ones that loved your game so much have bin pushed away because of just laziness on your part. I’m not going on vacation I’m playing atlas?! So why are you going on vacation? It’s a survival game you have to play it to survive. so there’s a huge community that signs on every day and plays this game all day. I would sincerely hope that you understand how much all these player rely on you. one thing I am not doing again is spending 40 bucks to buy two of my friends the game In Hopes that they would try it out. To not even be able to sign in. And you have given us one post were working on it?!? you do not deserve the people who play this game!!!!!

What would that solve? You would have less players in it. This is a dev/server issue. All the pc players I know are online just taking care of our Xbox company members til it gets fixed. Not to say there isn’t jerks out there sinking ships. But a majority of us pc players are trying to keep our company afloat until this gets fixed.

Any official word regarding what the problem is on the 7 other platforms they've decided to distribute information on? I mean these are the OFFICIAL forums correct?.. As far as I know they are still not working, my bro keeps trying to log in on xbox and it's saying the same as yesterday. Been waiting for like 3 hours today so far. Would be nice if the Dev's gave some idea of the time frame this is going to take.

I think it's funny that a patch or update was released at Ark that destroyed the whole game. I play on Xbox and have not been able to access the server since noon yesterday. So what did you developers break?

who ever thought 110 meters for the glider to open up and make it from sea lvl as the start point your a moron half the island that are raised 20 to 50 meters above sea lvl are now useless for a glider like 300 to 500 meters would of be fine to stop island hoping with a glider like do you guys play your own game ?

As supportive as some of the community tries to be, the sheer lack of balance in these updates is demoralizing. From the beginning of barrels in cannons, to ships costing unsustainable amounts of gold, and now gliders being practically useless. It seems it’s a teeter totter from one extreme to the other. I will thank you for the removal of barrels from cannons on behalf of the majority of the player base, and that you continue to put effort and time into optimizing the gameplay. However, perhaps consulting players on how to solve problems would offer more popular solutions. it seems like the glider nerf is your solution for lighthouses being used on barrel bombing towers. This is ridiculous, for several reasons with realism being the first. Then you have mountains on islands that are well above 2 lighthouses high and it’s the most efficient way to get around. And third, it is an incredibly enjoyable experience in the game that actually can draw in players. Instead of nerfing an enjoyable tool and experience in the game, you instead limit the placing of lighthouses to below 100m? Balance. Another hot topic is the gold cost of ships. Small to medium sized company’s can not sustain the gold costs of the ships. With large companies being able to put out larger upgraded ships, smaller companies can only splurge on their ships and likely only have common ship parts which are often the prey of larger companies. If you truly want all to be on the sea more, you NEED to make ships cost significantly less. And I will say this before it becomes an idea you all pass around. DO NOT remove customization of ships. You will lose me as a player as well as every other captain out there.

I hate it. The glider should have just been left alone. You say no weapons during gliding but I’m sure you play on pve and not on pvp. Sniping and gliding is not as easy as people who play on pve would think it is. Just leave the damn gliders alone now traveling from our main base to our border towers to defend will be that much harder, I never heard anyone complaining about gliders to begin with. we would be so much happier to see less new content and just fix and work on the things already in game. They add hats yet Christmas trees still don’t work, they nerf gliders yet cross grid trading still isn’t working, they add lumber yards but control points still don’t collect taxes. stop just adding stuff for the sake of adding stuff that doesn’t really effect the overall gameplay and focus on current in game mechanics that do so you don’t keep creating a longer list of crap to fix later. Tranq arrows.... what were you thinking they are useless and whoever tested and decided it was useful should be looking for a new job.

The glider is one of the FUN things to do. I’m sure it has some tactical advantage in PVP but in PVE it’s just fun and useful. You built a world with sky high pillars and cliffs and for 2 YEARS we have used the glider to explore and travel. Please please please change it back. How about no weapons while gliding? How about limiting gliding time? How about a quicker wear out? The height restriction is unnecessary and debilitating.

I guess i was wrong, this IS Ark, not Atlas. Any chance you'll explain exactly what necessitated a change to gliding heights? Hats for bears. Wow. Way to focus on the important stuff.. Sidenote, why did you need to MAKE A WHOLENEW STRUCTURE FOR THATCH AND WOOD? JUST MAKE THE GODDAM COLLECTION RATES ADJUSTABLE ON THE FARMHOUSE! For example then i could turn berry collection OFF, and put that collection percentage into wood and thatch?... How goddam lost are you?

I don't understand the glider suit nerf...? Sometimes, that's the only way to do maps. Why change this? What is the reason for this? I just do not understand why you would change something like this.

ATLAS is moving in the right direction, community feedback seem to reach the developers and they do listen. Turning speed of ships has been something we ask for a long time now, good to see that nami or the developers checked our old posts and feedback, same as sailing speed increasing which we hope to get a little more boost or atleast more boost from sail blueprints in the future. The Ramming Ship is a funny ship and with the improvements it finally gets more of its own character and a good reason to use it, if it is faster than other normal ships. The repairing of the ramming ship felt complicated and we hope to get a improvement there in the future, maybe repairing it on the common way like every other ship would be nice or atleast a easier way to repair the full ship and have some support by the npcs, if its anchored. Bears are getting hats, this is awesome and a nice feature, thanks for that apreciate the personal touch we can give our beloved bears! We are really excited about the trade system and its future, its a awesome idear and we are happy we may inspired the developers with our world economy system?! We already can see in which direction the developers want to go with the lumbermill, yap its the right way keep going! Merry Christmas to all of you and you did a great job in this short time and really brought back fun and positivity to ATLAS!
