  1. Hello. My company and I were on Newinglodge island. Two of my teammates were on the opposite side of the island from me. Vultures became aggroed on our building, and my teammates watched and followed as over a dozen vultures came from the opposite beach across the island to my location, a long way. It's a fair sized island. We fought for over an hour, using resources in the smithy to make arrows and bows, last count was 92 vultures killed through the walls. There are some issues here. The vultures came from everywhere, infinite range it seems. The vultures could be killed with headshots through the wall. (clipping) The vultures never gave up aggro on the building. The vultures continuously spawned, didn't stop even after we left the zone, no one sleeping there. We came back to the zone an hour later with dozens of vultures still attacking the structure. Went back to the zone after an hour and a half, and they are still aggroed on the building, but there aren't as many. There are now 2 alpha vultures with them. I am thinking this is a bug, as it is impossible to defeat them with this behavior. I wonder if they are still there...it's been 3 hours. Oh, by the way, we are laughing at this, no salt intended. EDIT #2: Went back 3 hours later, right after posting this. 3 Vultures are still aggro on the building, including one of the alphas.

  3. I certainly hope that the devs reconsider the AGE system as it is currently. It really has no place in an online PVP MMORPG as dying isn't entirely under our full control...server lag, players using exploits, crashes, buggy code, erratic and broken AI, getting stuck in the mesh, falling through the mesh, player ping deferential, desyncing, etc... Eating balanced meals and watching out for predators is one thing but why should we get punished for the kinds of deathly events that happen consistently and beyond our control? Also, why weren't we made aware that this was going to happen so we would have been more careful with our characters? The devs need a way to make this a beneficial choice and NOT a requirement. How about keeping the permanent bonuses for those brave and savvy enough to complete the quest but do not debuff others that choose not to go on this adventure? How about NOT have an AGE but use our levels. When your level reaches 100, then you go on this quest? Your character would remain at 100 levels but you would still earn those permanent quest buffs. The Fountain of Youth does not remain long enough on the random islands to make it stable enough for the quest in the first place as it constantly despawns as many are trying to endure the quest in the first place generating a wild-goose-chase! Many players are reporting that they had to sail for about 4-8 hours trying to find and complete the Fountain of Youth quest. Screw that, I don't want to be forced to sail for 4-8 hours, sailing for only an hour is boring enough and an extreme waste of time, I certainly do not want to be forced to do it for 4-8 hours. This AGE system is utter bull crap! I play video games for fun not for toil and punishment! Think this AGE system is going to be fun? Check these videos out and decide for yourselves!

  5. I bought 2 crew mates on a freeport today. My friend is also near me. Spawned 2 and wanted to look at them and how they look. Went close to them and crashed. My buddy also tried the same thing and crashed. We managed to bring them near the ship with whistle and we needed them on board so we tried to go near them and we did without crashing. After pressing E crashed the game again. Which crashed my game in water and i got killed from sharks my body also got deleted. And lost near 500 GOLD. We are not gonna hire any crew till this gets fixed. Please look into it.

  7. My friends, I and the rest of my company are currently moving to a new location that we took from enemies. However there is a claim that we cannot take for some reason. We place a claim down and hold E on the enemy claim flag to show enemy contesting the area, but it doesn't show anyone in the area. So we can't do anything at all. We tried testing a couple of things, like having an ally place a claim down and then having one my guys leave the company to place a claim down, but each person said the same thing, that when they went to show enemy players contesting the claim, it didn't show anything. If we can get ingame admin help, that'd be great. I'm hoping we can have an admin contact us for details through a PM or something. Unless there is a bug with the claim system that should be fixed in an upcoming patch, then no need XD
  8. I will lead with everything in this is manageable for the most part Cannons being the most risky due to not being able to reliably fend of SoTD. We have heard that hatchet blueprints have not been added to the loot tables from other players. I have not seen anything official confirming this yet. Disregard if this is the case. If not however my company has done a few hundred treasure maps we generally have 3-6 players doing them for 5-6 hours a couple days a week. We have had 0 hatchet blueprints drop of any Quality. Cannons are experiencing a weird bug where it kicks whoever is manning them off the cannon every few seconds. Takes multiple attempts to reload before it completes a reload taking 25 or more seconds just to reload in between shots. Experienced this mostly all throughout C6 the golden age ruins but also in some of the surrounding areas D6 and D5. Was mostly an annoyance for but there were a few times we had to do a lot of repairs to stop the ship from sinking while fighting SoTD. Golden Age Ruins are becoming clogged with ships. It is causing an insane amount of lag within these areas. There were close to 100 parked on the southern portion of C6. Some were being sunk by the high level creatures but for the most part the area where they are all sitting is safe. Seems that they are crafting smaller ships sailing them in and parking them so they have a teleport and easy access to all of them. Possible Solution: Add the same ship decay as in the freeports maybe with a longer timer so you can actually go here and do the content but leaving ships parked here for fast travel is not how this should work. It causes an immense amount of lag for anyone to even enter the area much less try to do the content as it was intended. Food spoiling time for cooked recipes is not operating correctly sometimes. Says 16 hours but last anywhere from 6 to the actual stated duration. Crew invisible still have mass that you cant walk through so it seems like you are stuck or lagging. Some company members can see them and some cannot which is how we found out about the issue. To some of the company it seemed the 15 crew members on our Brig were gone but a few of us could see them and interact with them. Players can not climb ladders reliably to get on our own ships. It does work eventually but sometimes you have to jump off back into the water and start the process over. Every once in a while someone else has to come move the ship for you to be able to climb the ladder.
  9. Currently if you try and either manually create a very large or detailed tattoo either using the in-game menu or trying to load one created outside of Atlas the game will disconnect you. This also happens with the paintbrush when trying to paint yourself. Hopefully this gets fixed before the feature that lets you re-tattoo your character for gold goes live. Also while it's not as major of a bug, some patterns uploaded to Atlas can require color's that you can't make in Atlas, one that comes to mind is Forest Green.
  10. Holding E and telling a tame to get on a boat sometimes causes them to glitch into the boat. They will go up and down halfway in the boat then fall through the world and die.
  11. Getting stuck on login with PrimalData BP on the screen. When we do get past that, we can't interact with anything or do anything. HALP.
  12. So the pet will have -0.0 weight after using transfer all (I think while riding). So far the only fix I have found it putting weight on the tame (bug will go unnoticed if it has a saddle, I found with bug with pigs).   13. I keep getting this error every 5-15 minutes. I attached a photo of the error. It's an XAudio2_7.dll crash. I have verified game files, uninstalled/reinstalled the game, and I've even reformatted my computer. No matter what I do this error keeps coming back. Specs: Alienware R4 17 GeForce 1060 Windows 10 Home 64bit 16 GB memory Intel i7-7700 HQ CPU @ 2.80 GHz

Can you tell me why the hell i bother to spend a few hours taming animals & placing them in a building and it still gets killed along with any sleepers and AI in said building by wild animals when we are offline? This is a game breaking issue. Is anyone else having this issue I've tried leaving them on boats and some how a wild lion can climb up onto the side of a brig or Schooner and eat them. With the taming mechanics the way they are it takes way to long to bother taming if it is only going to be eaten that night. How can this be so broken in this game yet not an issue in Ark? I've tried building a pen on a roof as well and still they get killed by Cobra or Lions. If you have had this issue or are annoyed by it like myself please take the time to reply or up-vote this thread in the hope the devs pay attention to it.

    sound bug

    game runs fine till i get on a boat or near a boat that moving seems to be one of the sound that causes it the game will freeze or shutter from 2s to 30s and sound is crackly . i'v check all my driver they are update I've verified atlas a ton of time after is time i try and fix it and last i have reinstalled the game 3 times now and the bug is still there. with the game running not near water i open options turn all sounds off with sliders the and apply the game goes in to a none stop stutter mode every 10 secs the game stutters none stop till i turn the sliders back up. there is 2 people that are having same problem as i have. full desc of what i did at bottem if you need it 1 uninstalled sound drivers verify files in steam 2 installed latest drivers verify files in steam 1 file failed 3 disabled sound card with reboot verify files in steam 4 switched sound devices from realrek to nivida sound and disabled realtek 5 switched sound from nivida to realtek and disabled nivida 6 deleted atlas 7 installed atlas game worked fine no stutter then servers patched and game was back to stutter verify files in steam 8 redid part 7 to try and fix it dint work this time at all 9 deleted drivers for sound and video card 10 reinstalled sound and video 2 restarted one for each install 11 pulled my hair out some feedback would be nice thanks
  16. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence but after I entered F13 I started crashing when opening map. Then I died and crashed because it shows a map, I keep getting assertion failed and I’ve reinstalled, verified game cache, rebooted pc. Don’t know what to do is there a fix to this yet??

  20. Hello Grapeshot. Archery skill, all tiers of "Strong Arm" does not modify archery damage at all. The skill description says: "Increased Projectile damage by a specific percentage" but this does not actually occur at all. Beastmastery skill, all tiers of "Sneaking" does not affect aggressive creatures at all. The skill description says: "Wild creature visibility decreased by a specific percentage" but this does not actually occur at all. Grapeshot, if you intend to nerf archery flame arrows, then please look into these skills and get them working correctly so that archery remains a viable offensive option, thank you very much.
  21. We just killed a Hydra, got one key. But when we respawned we didnt get another key. Meanwhile others who killed the Hydra some days ago always get one key when they respawn.
  22. Thanks wildcard, 10% distance over sea and all planks deleted by textures. White numbers (2500, 3000) showed from the base of my boat. The result: I had lucky and I was able to rescue by bear and my resources. Pls, fix the textures. 4hours harving and sailing for nothing.
  23. Lost my Elephant just now. Got it close to the side of my Brig, then held E on it and "Send To Ship." It vanished. I looked up from the top of my masts, I swam down to the bottom of the sea. I looked around my base and even relogged. I even asked an alliance member if they could see it, and I could not. The Elephant is gone. cheat TP K7 148304 62731 549
  24. I have been receiving this error off and on ever since I got the game. Happens whenever i switch between server boundaries, lag out, or try to spawn at a different bed. This is probably one of the oldest unfixed glitches in the game and is insane that no fixes have been established for this, or even how no dev has addressed it. I beg the devs to do something about this, as there is no reason this bug should not have been taken care of sooner.
