I'm still having this issue myself and have even reformatted my computer with no success.

I keep getting this error every 5-15 minutes. I attached a photo of the error. It's an XAudio2_7.dll crash. I have verified game files, uninstalled/reinstalled the game, and I've even reformatted my computer. No matter what I do this error keeps coming back. Specs: Alienware R4 17 GeForce 1060 Windows 10 Home 64bit 16 GB memory Intel i7-7700 HQ CPU @ 2.80 GHz

Had an issue with a fatal error involving xAudio_2. Reinstalled the game. Didn't work. Reformatted my computer. Started the game to rejoin my character. It doesn't give me the option to rejoin my character in the game.
