  1. Tames will always be the biggest thing about atlas. I am surprised people fell for that. Everyone should have seen right through that. You thought ships were important? Nope. Only tames.
  2. Ummm lol what? Who is giving them money every month? There is certainly no army of employees over at GS. There is no massive amounts of money coming in. Hell, I bet they didn't even really get that much from the initial launch compared to what it should be costing to make a successful game of this scale. Have they even sold 100k copies of the game? It has previously been mentioned that Atlas is in the bottom 100 games on steam. @Keins Thallow Don't expect this game to ever release. Unless you think SC is actually going to be finished and released someday. If that is the case, then expect this game to release first. You would be beyond help at that point anyways. Like this guy...he's fucked in the head. Dude, the game had already been in alpha for like 5 years at that time. That's like buying a new Atlas ship....3 years from now.....and still having not seen it 8 years from now...AND still thinking it would release.....someday...... Your drugs sir....are awesome...I want some of whatever it is.
  3. When playing single player on the Ocean map, I open the map using "m" or in the player menu the islands look blurry and pixelated. When I play on official the map looks fine, and when I play single player on Blackwood the map looks fine. Its just Ocean single player. I've seen some posts about this but they were all about the dedicated server, or hosting through nitrado. Map & Treasure Image Is there a way to get the map fixed?
  4. Pvpers would have to pay if you expect PVEers to provide product. This makes a far better economy than this silly warehouse gold printing machine. (100% broke until you get a warehouse, then you're rich) That means pvp actions needs to pay. Such as every player ship sunk drops gold and gear just like an npc ship but more. An amount worth adding to the value of the fight. Like half the cost of building the ship plus some of it's gear. Every claim tower destroyed pays x amount. Every enemy player killed pays x amount. Then PVPers can sail back to the safe zone where us barbie playhouse PVEers have everything for sale they need to refit and stock up for their next run to the combat grids. Just like RL pirates back in the day. The war zone should have reduced resources. PVPers may spend days at a time in the war zone but then if they are going to be away for a few days, they can sail their ships to a safe zone dock yard... to not get Off-lined while away. Off line pvp is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Others may fill a mid level risk jobs like cargo runners, from the safe zone to war zone bases. Factions could be the English and the Pirates.
  5. Come on man, pvp is empty as well. Pve people left because they got rid of the frost pve cluster to begin with. Pvp servers are just as dead. And nah, I have seen plenty of pvp people complaining. Deny it all you want but I have seen plenty of it. I will definitely be waiting for new world then. Haven’t heard of it yet but thanks for bringing it up. I’ll make sure to look it up today. Players are already leaving anyways so even if new world doesn’t take them something else is already.
  6. This topic has been widely discussed with a variety of different ideas/opinions. Most of them I never agreed with because people would try to get excited about it or hype it up as being “wonderful” or some other ridiculous word. Either way the game is failing and has been. merging pve and pvp together could be good for the simple fact that gold could be worth something. Even mega companies has to waste personnel to grind out materials. Why not have the grinders(pve) players do that in the safety of their pve servers so that all pvp players can focus on pvp? Wow, what a concept. Pvp players can raid other pvp players to get “gold” so they can buy the good materials that the grinders(pve) make. Manufacturers(pve) and consumers(pvp). I know a lot of cry baby pvp people will whine and say they want to attack the pve people but suck it up, you don’t get to now and you won’t get to later lol. with this pve players wouldn’t have to worry about farming gold and pvp people wouldn’t have to waste time farming resources. They could just come up and with “gold” buy the 200% gally. You lose a ship in war? Go buy another one from the pve people. Pvp people don’t want to waste time taming or breeding? Also no problem, the pve people already did that and are willing to sell them. It’s beyond me how pvp people can be so arrogant lol. FACTIONS: this will definitely not solve the gold problem but will make for better pvp(sorry solo players) because it will eliminate the mega and solo players. You log in and make a character? You pick a faction regardless(doesn’t matter how many factions and that is not this discussion). You will pick a faction and that will always be your faction. The pvp battles would become very large scale and be a lot more entertaining than a fleet of gallys coming for a stone hut. Whatever faction comes out on top is the winner. I would apologize for being blunt but I am not sorry in any way, shape, of form. I have seen so many terrible ideas on this forum because people are trying to be “creative” or “fantasize”. This is the real world and we live in it. There is no creativity in this game. It’s a matter of players and success. Without either of these two this game will just stay a steaming pile and will continue to bleed players. That’s all there is to it. Try not to be creative in replies with creative ideas. Definitely not welcome. Rational replies with common sense would be helpful, because remember, pve people don’t want to play with pvp people so they will either leave or you give them incentive to do so.
  7. I always knew that steam had a top 250 but what I didn’t know is that they also had a bottom 100. Atlas actually made it to number 71 on the bottom 100. I also looked it up and there are 23,000 games on steam. finished game or not that really says a lot about the game and the company. I have seen them make many mistakes as well as telling lies throughout this process. I can pretty confidently say that the spot in the bottom 100 is a perfect spot for atlas to be at. I am wondering what the ONLY 70 other games that are worse than atlas messed up on. Either way though being number being number 22,929 out of 23,000 is definitely not something to be proud of.
  8. As of April 2021 1. I can no longer respect at each level. Only purchasing the respec from the vendor in a freeport works. 2. Land claim flags somehow steal people's rafts and some smaller ships. Personally ive seen up to a Brig stolen in this way. The "thief" in this situation can mount the wheel but can not actually move the ship. The thief can destroy planks and sink the ship. The victim can unclaim then re-claim the ship to correct it. Maybe this is partially working as intended? Rafts can not be destroyed in this fashion. I presently ghost own several rafts I can't remove from the company. 3. Treasure maps still have issues with NPCs spawning inside the ground. Or they fall off a cliff. Until a better fix is implemented how about a simple if and than in the coding. See if there are any valid targets above the mesh. You already have the coding for if a NPC can't hit a player it runs and resets. If no valid targets then complete the map. This sounds trivial but T-map hunting is a big aspect of the PvE content. 4. Stuck tames. - The latest map has many areas you can walk into a "cave" oh wait, no that was just a crappy area not properly drawn in allowing you to undermesh. I remember back in Season 1 where if you whistle your bear it would eventually "teleport" to you. Go back to that or give us a way to get our stuck tames out of the mesh. Add to it....
  9. Where is the supposed community Manager? Never replies so obviously doesnt know the meaning of the role. - Feedback to Both Parties... Are you even relaying any of the community concerns regarding the state of ATLAS? as we dont see replies from you or your Customer Relations. Everytime you submit a ticket its just solved never a reply to the concerned. (GREAT COMMUNICATION SKILLS THERE) Armoured Docks OK to be spammed everywhere? with 30m HP (Can we add a freeport NPC vendor in them too) LOL. = x2 Per Company per grid atleast Maximun. The whole point of creating Harbour runners is to do what it states and create CONTENT but that just got burnt out. Claim Islands - I thought you couldnt build on them? You can place an armoured dock on the isle as ive seen a few with Boats in there. SEASON 1 claim system - All thats been done is revamped and added the ability to claim someones possible BP'd Ship (Why would you go backwards?) Lawless was created for the smaller companies who choose not to claim ISLANDS, Stay hidden and not seen Now theres a target on there locations = LOL.... Barrels on SHIP should not be fired from anything if you want your ship to have barrels drop over the side (HandBall) and allow the vessal to sail into them. People are not wanting to build there ships and sail because of the x3 Barrel sink. An update with Q&A doesnt resolve anything, because your fellow employee asked a question and your dev team replied lol. The questions your Team have come out with is beyond belief Half of them have never crossed my mind since playing upon release and possibly others?. Then theres the performance before any of this fancy stuff, Did your company not drop the size of servers to help performance? - Where is the help when you still get 120 players in one grid lol.. This is supposed to be a game that can hold how many? 8k plus over multiple servers IM NOT 100% sure but COMEON now. Theres still the shield BASH to sort (A naked with a Shield can win a fight lol) then the Torper from a mace i could go on. BUT IT ISNT MY GAME OR MY COMMUNITY.. Bring back the OLD devs who actually created a ROAD MAP to keep us informed (AS WE KNOW THATS NOW OUT THE WINDOW) Or bring some of the guys in that do the UNOFFICIAL as they seem to be doing something right. Where there is Critism there has to be good Points - This is from an Appraising point of view if you know what that is being a manager The few things this DEV team has given in the correct way has been - Stam Drain and Glider Movement +1 / Dolphin +1 for Having in Harbour instead of having to search one for crafting purpose / +1 SeaHorse (Good defence for Harbours aswell as scouting lol) so well done on these goals. You have a WIPE comming as you state... NO DOUBT its for the easter sale on steam as that is your companies revenue - SALES. Just alittle help here: You want new customer for the easter wipe? SORT THE GAME OUT LOL. - RELAY THESE CONCERNS AND THEN RELAY TO UR COMMUNITY. Is that not why you have a website up and running? so the community can voice together on forums, is that not why you have seperate managers for each section? Everytime you have done a Q&A no names have been mentioned. Give them the Voice that they asked you the question and show there names so they can admit if they asked it. Then you wouldnt get called out for the BOGUS questions asked and replied.. - ITS CALLED FEEDBACK TO X Y AND Z.... Thanks for hearing my concerns (and possibly Majority of the community but who knows).

  11. Haha lol. Good job you succesfully offline raided somebody and stole his galleon full of his best breeding tames? Well done... in 40 minutes(considering you are poor with 0 gold) you may deleted 1000hours of work from maybe several players who bread this horses and spend hours in taming the best stats possible. But unlucky you the game did not allow you to use all this horses for yourself. Go cry. If you feel this succesfully and think the Devs do follow your suggestions... well you have pirated this game and everybody will abandone it... YARRR Best joke i've seen long time.... i have a galleon ... i have the biggest stick.... BUUUHHH i got outplayed by a shooner which even did not commit barrels to you.... just get some skill and respect for others. Maybe your galleon was overweight, was level 0 and the shooner leveld over days, build in a mystical shipyard with mystical planks and guns... but yeah BUUUHHH it was still a shooner
  12. Obviously the feed back from the community isnt herd otherwise we would get the answer from what keep being asked........ via Majority of the same question. New claim System??? its Season 1 revamped (Lawless for a reason - Be seen and not found) - Might aswell call it Law and Claimed. - Not Broke dont FIX IT. (Now you can claim someones BP'd Ship not just there base. or you might be lucky and claim half of the base now that is funny lol) Barrels still able to shoot from Boat (Been complained about alot in the last 2/3seasons) Remove them and allow Over Board Barreling via Hand. Armoured DOCK (Way too many for one company in one Grid - Reduce them to x2 Per company Per Grid?) - (NEW FREEPORT META ON ANY ISLAND just need an NPC Vendor with them) Sea Tax Island (No build except for bank and towers?) - (Theres Armoured Docks placed there and FOB Boats hmmmmmm) Honeslty ide love to know who asks these Questions you guys throw out there because the Normal questions that would be asked are never seen lol Side note the past few updates that came out were good IMO (Stam Drain and movement of Glider) - (Ballista Flame increased over Sails) - (and i do like the Dolphin/Seahorse) So a big well done and thnak you on these Patches. You wont get more people visiting the sea when it take less then 40minutes to claim someones isle on LAW'd they wont go farm becuase of the time travel. You wont get more people visiting the sea when they can lose the 50k Galleon within x5 Barrels! 35k brig x3 barrels 5k schooner x1/2 Barrels. You wont get more people visiting the sea if they have to dock at a LAW'd isle as something going on in rl to come back and they lose there ship. It takes days to Claim a ship with What yours is mine (Useless skill for awhile now) but if i thow a SEA CLAIM down its mine within 40mins. YAY!!! - FAIL SYSTEM Season 1 Some may have given more to this game then me but since launch ive invested 6k hours and is still playing not so much now becuase of the Wipe Hype but hey. Questions that are asked must be from the new Players honestly or even the dev team throwing questions to each other as there role play tester.......
  13. Makes no Difference if you ask me they removed the system due to bugs with it and allowed Claimed islands and Lawless. Now Lawless is not that as its owned so should be Law and Claimed. There was a point to being a lawless going unseen as your enemy searched for you while farming the Rare resource, Now you just having a shit stick saying HERE I AM Now they've just shown where the enemies are in LAWLESS areas so the Small group that do usually settle going undetechted now have a come get me sign because if they dont someone else is gonna claim there base.. We put one down to have a test of it to find we claimed someones half a base lmfao. all we did was demolish a wall and we owned there resource box and ammo while they had a few storages and there door. ITS A JOKE SYSTEM Its a pointless attempt - There major focus was to bring more sea exploration hence the Dolphin/Seahorse as its is a sea game as such This claiming system will not want people to explore, because ur base will be gone within 40minutes, its the same as the BUG on the Seaforts not allowed to build on it but yet you can place an armoured Dock and just place a fob boat there. Now that makes sence too (Not).. WANT PEOPLE TO GO TO SEA MORE???? Remove the Barrel from SHIPS lol Been Complained about for what 2/3 Seasons but its still here lol... No one and i mean no one wants to spend hours doing a boat to lose it in 3 barrel shots and with the cost of ships now. I admit Im guilty i use a Barrel on the back just so i can match my Opponant but i really HATE this. In No game SEA type have i seen barrels been shot from. Barshot yes that was a thing.. but come on! They really need to look into this, atleast there last team put the PTR up for awhile to be tested by the community before implementing, Now this team run it for a couple days or so and i doubt there testing otherwise they'de know the issue's and not release its last couple of updates. eg: Armoured/Claims. Only thing that did come decent from the patches were the glider stam drain and movement of that aswell as increased flame damage of Balista. they still allowed the barrels to be shot from boats but hey thats another story lol.

All you have done is used the files from previous parts of the game and restyled them, what did you do look at the player base back in season 1? and think hey we can go backwards. Season 1 was spam of land and seas to the point people were claiming seas just to spell there companies names causing major lag from claim areas so the dev team back then implemented one island claim to stop the island spams and allowed lawless to be just that, if you choose to live there that was your risk, Lawless having most of the rares wasnt ment to be lived 24/7 it was farm and move, or farm and hide ur stash due to rare. You would pull up on ur boat grab and move - But your current comments state you want more sea action, your moving people towards the sea to explore etc, - Exactly the same with a freeport but YET you still allow boats to stay there and turn into FOBS. max res and become a breeding pen or farm fob (Thumbs Up for no fix) WHY the hell would i park a boat in a lawless now! oh sorry ive gotta get the phone or see to the kids etc, im alittle longer then expected and bang its like cilet (the sh** is gone) Season 1 was based on using the claim system to get someones buildings that then spent (xyz) building which pissed a few player of, And now you bring it with the passion to allow claiming someones BP'd ship - this makes ZERO sence for you wanting people to come to sea.... As the OLD Saying goes if its not Broke dont fix it - There was other areas to look at improving rather then a lawless region. Then you have the Armoured SHIPYARD - why would you allow companies to have multiple freeports on different islands? Only thing there missing is to buy NPC from - Why havent you LIMITED it to x2 per company per grid. IT would stop the island spam of them, and i thought it wasnt possible to build on control points but yet you can place an armoured dock there? Oh well lets just get a boat there and put 10 npc under the deck and create a fob. only way to get rid is kill the dock lmfao. it Makes ZERO sence to harbour run anyone anymore - You just killed that aspect of the game OH MY DAYS! Honestly guys i doubt you play or test what you create because you wouldnt have this many people getting frustrated over a game and maybe do your research on its previous seasons rather then stating something is new, Yes to the xbox players if they didnt have it on PC it is New but to all your VALID supporters since the Release me being one it ISNT NEW lol Ill probably get flamed by the solo/duo tribes but hey Honestly this patch is a major fail. and yes ive been here since season 1 with many hours supporting this game.   17. UR5 (Unreal 5 engine)looks amazing and has a new feature that we have not seen done before that I know of. Witch might not be saying that much. Regardless, UR5 gives creators of earlier titles the ability to upgrade form UR4 to UR5. This alone gives any game created in UR4 a economical life span through the life of the next engine. So, technically this could not be an issue. But something else is going to be an issue, a far bigger issue. Its called "Valheim". With a concept as good and new as this, it is only a matter of time until someone makes a legit sandbox game. Now clearly it wont be Valheim (there are only 5 dudes making that game), but more will come and eventually someone will put some money into the project. Now Atlas is in year 3 of development and on its, what are we at now? 3rd or 4th set of people working on it. It is really starting to look like they wont get this one off of the ground. That is a big shame. They seem to still be searching for a theme, insane. ITS FUCKING PIRATES! Geniuses, one and all. I don't know if you have noticed, but Atlas is already mainly PvP. If you need proof, exhibit A is the fact that no one even bothered to make sure that the new PvP towers didn't make it into the PvE version. Lol there is exactly nothing that they can provide on those servers except mayhem with zero recourse. Exhibit B, Just about every problem you have on PvE is solved in PvP. Its not a separate version, its just PvP with dmg to self and structures toggled off for other players.
  18. Fortune favors the bold. Well done too the developers. They made a huge step towards fixing the game here. Whether intended or not. I noticed something was working better in the first minute. It still has all the problems don't get me wrong. So far on pve not going to bad with the changes. I lost alot of bases so I went out and gained alot of other people's bases. Still plenty of land to go around. Each company can only use so many towers in the whole game. Can't protect everything. So there's alot of farms up for grabs now I guess. Has balanced the game but strained it a little. Hard to explain. It seems more stable but lags more? I think this may be a big game fixer. It will destroy majority of the junk people build. To confirm earlier comment with my observations. The towers are not claiming boats in any way whatsoever that I've seen. Don't see many armored docks in lawless though. I will admit I came out on top 160k gold. I feel like a pirate for the first time since this game came out ironically.

After 25k plus hours in this game (YES that is correct) I thought I had seen it all but alas with every update and the stuffups that come from it just amaze me that these Devs of yours actually earn a salary. Grapeshot Games and your Devs have proven yourselves to the community time and time again. You DO NOT listen to us, and are certainly not honest with us. You DO NOT give due dilligence to your work. You DO NOT listen to reason. You DO NOT apply logic to your developments...and so this list could just go on and on. Your pompous, self-richeous arrogance leaves a LOT to be desired. Your pre-built ships are a joke (but no one is laughing) and are in fact so bloody terrible that you cannot even give them away! They are just an eyesore. You talk about improvements and balances...do any of you know what that means? EVERY update and your so-called improvements are a total disaster (Do not fix that which is not broken) When something is 'fixed' then guaranteed it reverts back to a worse situation before the 'fix' after each and every update. Today I have lost about 2 million in gold, rare resources and bases that took a lot of time and effort to secure - why? Well because you do not update the community as to what exactly will happen and just go ahead with your stupidity. If you hate this cash cow of yours so much, why not sell it to someone who actually would develop it into a world-class leading game? It has the potential for it as the many players have stated here over these past few years
  20. My early feedback: You cant see circles other then on map. You see a keepout area when oyu try to place on tho. The patchnotes ware wrong with the speedup its, 1% every ~30 seconds You dont get any notification other then someone place a tower in generall. Nothing when someone is claiming stuctures of you or is kinda contesting your tower. I got one of my 5 rafts that was parket in the tiny shipyard claimed, i could not do any other interaction then unanchor and scuttle, which i did as the structures on it belonged to the new owner. I havent seen any timer on the towers, are they static or loose hp over time? The point system seems completely out of protion, the radius is not big, but the amount of flags to place seems high. So they were thinking about a new claim system since november, what we got now is a bare minimum of something. And then they say, next will be wipe? What is with working markets, tradewinds, the lag and everything else. Did they finally found an propper angle to approach math?

I'm coming from console conan exiles games basically dead glitch trash so I'm looking for a replacement ive seen the pc version of this game looks fun but have heard alot of negative for the Xbox version id like to know is it worth it hows the player base is it buggy over all os it worth the $30
  25. I am in a mega and it still takes us 3-4 months to find the good bps unless someone gets ungodly lucky the sails and now cannons take for ever. Can you list which exploits are plaguing the ships of this seasons? I have seriously not had issues this season with companies exploiting ships... I have seen the new ships put forth by the devs sink when they arent designed to... so ive seen broken updates from the devs but not exploits related to boats.
