  1. I AM PVE. What u do (spam) is useless, the devs know, they did fix / ban for other cheats (with evidence). Did you read the reply of the ChemB guy about 300%+ carabine combined with skill, i belief. You see they are working on PVP things like offline protection, maybe the new claim system helps with claim zerging too. This game is rather a marathon then a sprint, dont expect reactions to YOUR topic on a daily base.

  3. Everyone complaining about the current claim system has to keep im mind that this game is rather a marathon then a sprint. By that i mean important changes taking time, huge fuckups are only corrected by server rollbacks, there will never be a wipe ever. The Devs did a huge fuckup 3 weeks ago with first killing the sleeper and implementing the 3 week protection (for everyone) afterwards (2 days later?). This changed the map in a big way, and kept it in stasis for 3 weeks. Only now we/ the devs will start seeing how it plays out, because from now on there will be more claims which are claimable. I do not expect any changes to the claim system in a month timeframe.
  4. Just dont be lazy on your bear, use a hatchet! Actually dont even kill them with a bear, use bow for max yield. O7 but with fireele.
  5. It also applly to ship parts, for 160% mythic parts it is def worth it. Just not so much for 110% stuff.
  6. the max crafting bonus is: (sheet int -100)/20 This bonus is applied to the increase an BP gives. if u have a weapon BP with 160% dmg and get a 10% crafting bonus the resulting weapon has 166% dmg. For Upgrades a percentage (this is different the itemtypes) of this new Increase is applied each upgrade. So the crafting bonus is also applied to each upgrade, with 100/(percent per upgrade) upgrades the crafting bonus is therefore doubled. For minmaxing: Crow gives between 10 and 60% additiv Int. Dolphin Buff gives 50% additive Int. The new int bonus on gear is multiplied to the 100% base int and skilled int. the bonuses are additiv to eachother. For a level 50 char fully skilled in int, with 5 10% bonuses on gear, a 50% crow and the dolphin buff: (100 base + 200 skilled) *1,5 +50 +50 =550% --> 22,5 max crafting bonus. 10 % on items i far from max, and they can be upgraded, as i am mostly solo/duo i have no clue what kind of gear the megas are using. But >100% on gear should be easy possible for them. Now for a high level char we are talking about greater then 50% max bonus. For high level BPs thats worth alot. I respeced to int shortly before i gained a new level, so i could speced back out of int at the next level. Now with the respec potion it can be done anytime (500g?). But if u have good crafted gear for the different biomes (high isolation, %Life %stamina etc), u can also stay in int for a bit/forever. ENJOY your reduced feast cooldowns.
  7. I see that. It is fine for gear used in PVP. I read a reply from the ChemB guy about 300+ % carabine killing geared people with chest shots. Even if i only play PVE i can see thats maybe even worth 20 mythos per shot, if it helps u succsess/ speed up at an online raid/ defence. But i am talking about an Bow, is a bow, as glitchy as it is, viable in PVP? Tools are viable in PVP? I think the mythos requirements for the mythical Sickel BP was also in the range of 780 mythos. i dont think time save farming with it (no use anyway with tames) are worth the 700 mythos! For armor i would use them on daily basis (PVE again) if they had desired stats, because durability isnt reduced that fast..
  8. For repairing this bow (durabiity of two normal ones) requires to kill ~4 cyclops at the moment. Low long this takes depends on population of cyclops (i mean you go there and kill all that are easy to do /aggro) and the traveling time. Can be near 0 or 50 only went once and come back with ~8k myhtos (~11 repairs). But anyway 1 shot arrow = crafting cost of a mythical medium ship plank in terms of mythos seems way off!
  9. Add Hatchet BP(s) remove StonePick plz. For me its more about durability as for the DMG. I hate to have 2-3 of them in my inventory. So if it is intendet for them not to drop because of DMG, consider adding BP with only increased durability. Also as mentioned Metalpick drops are (way) lower as other tools, which may be intendet.
  10. I havnt to much experience with steering backwards with a motor on a sailing yacht. But what i can remember is that it is really difficult for the first time anyway because of radial force i guess it is. So dont care about Joe to much:)
  11. I have skilled into advanced Strong Arm. This should give +30% DMG for bows. When hitting an animal or target dummy i get different DMG Numbers. First hit is always really low, sometime consequent shots are at the max DMG, but can also hit some numbers between the lowest and highest. Doest matter if common or BP crafted Bow (low and high numbers are different tho). Number i saw with ~140% Bow: low high 56 --> 73 (30% increase) So it seems the Skill is not allways applied. Relog did not improve the situation.
  12. Actually you can queue up two at the moment. But crafting was only working in an empty barrel, guess that gets fixed. For now, just fill all your waterskins/jars, if barrel is not empty pickup barrel, place it down again, craft.
  13. Nope it does not. For Bamboo (maybe Silk too) Rhino is best, my mate farmed 25k Bamboo in 2-3 hours at a 4x weekend. But for Silk, i havent seen more then 4 Silktrees in a group. So we go to freeport for buying Silk (~3,6k gold for 10k Silk), Bamboo is the rarest anyway.
  14. When traveling to another server the EQ Buff resetts to 30 Min even with all vits balanced. I guess it is a bug because it is straigth against exploring other regions then your homeserver.
  15. THIS. I have scaned to our cloth BP and crafted set with the highest Hyperthermal protection. Did a long journey in tropical/equatiorial with fully skilled in intelligence (for crafting / so no extra fortitude). Never ever took on HP hit from heat. Same for Polar, i have a set with > 510 Hypothermal protection, at this point i go swim for sharks at -20°C.
  16. Balista i have to check, but you know u need 6*~200 alloy (better say 6-9 times the cost of a common balista / unlike armor which is like 1,5 times) each, right. I my eyes the Balista carfting cost are bugged.

  18. Yeah nice loot, guess the deck and planks are small ones. Also how many resource boxes, diving attachments, dingidocks and foodlarders you looted. After some kills u just stop killing the low level (<20) anyway because everything below masterwork does not seems to be worth it. The low ones are just to learn their pattern and optimize your ship setup. Other people said so to in this thread, if u want BPs for your ship u go golden age for the >50 SotD. But dont go there with your broadside setup , they two-shot medium planks, so u have to avoid taking hits.

  20. In general cobras are not to bad, what is bad with them is the glichy body. - glitching into buildings. In the glitched state they can attack (or not) but tames can not fight back sometimes. - When fighting alfas with a bear, the bear can be stucked in the cobra and not move out of it. - Fucking body really likes to be picked up! - Do not even try to fight (bow) a cobra which is changing directions, just move backwards a bit and wait for it to come straigth at u. - Make sure u are not on a meshing surface, cobra can not be hit because underground Rattlesnakes - what is this? even alfas die from 2-3 bodyshoots! Regarding size, i thing it is really good to have the cobra at its current size, try to spot / fight them in a densed vegetation otherwise.
  21. You dont upgrade your crafted gear much i guess, outside of crafting it is kinda useless tho. Gold was devalued by the reduced weight --> can carry more --> can get more (in one run)--> can spend / ask for more
  22. I play PVE and i think the Keratenoid isnt even the worth part for mythical crafting. In Fact for PVE atleast, i like that there is one resource u can not bypass by farming gold (not so much even), and animals (mb ex. Jellyfish) are plenty but can not farmed in one session. Turtle median for shell is ~12 for me. From the begining i used the 4x Weekends for mostly farming spawn limited resources (Metal, Hide and Kera..). When i go out for treasure i kill animal which yield the rare resources too. The problem with mythical crafting is the repair and Mythos cost. I crafted a mythical bow with 220% Dmg and ~80 Durability. I shoot 10 Arrows, checked repair, 30 Mythos needed. So shooting one arrow equals 3 Mythos. This is not in any way practical for daily use! But i can see the point of hight mythos cost for PVP. For daily use armor and weapon i stay at legendary quality max. We have Mythical Ship Cannons (~165% dmg) which only required 3 Mythos per craft, so that is doable. For armor i only crafted one with ~14% intelligence (~780 Mythos --> high repair cost), that stay in base also.
