Me and my friend spent around 12 hours making the schooner and it was decaying at a fast rate within 10 minutes the panels on the bottom of the ship had gone form 5000 health to 3900 and we didn't hit anything or wasn't attacked and the weight of the ship was 3000 out of 6600 we fixed the ship before we went off and as we returned to play today the ship had sunk. So what's the point in playing the game if the ship's are going to sink them selfs over night.

Yayyrrghhh Land Lubbers !! Ex hosts of Ark are now running a 4 x 4 grid server (16 servers/zones all Atlas content), with more to come in time. We also have the powerstone enabled and correctly working /configured. The box we are using is a dedicated data centre server hosted in the UK. This server has a lot of juice with options to expand at a later date, if the maps become overcrowded. Rates are currently at x5, which makes things go along enough that it doesnt feel you are powering through the game. Slight buffs to carry weight on players, but not on boat. The way the grid works, top part of the map is pvp, bottom is pve, as there isnt any orp, the pve zones guarantee you cant have your stuff offline raided. It really ****s, and need to be reworked, we lost our base to a China Guy, it couldnt be that your best is getting a base and land when your online at the right time, rework that shit totally, PVE is more annoying than PVE!!!!

Is it possible to have a character both on PVP and PVE?

We are on NA PVE and we can’t find land to claim at all. We are desperate for a small base to work out of. Especially since our ships keep getting sunk by the over spawned ghost ships. Having to start over in a Freeport is awful, and building anything on a lawless island is a crap shoot: it might last a day or an hour before something or someone destroys it, sometimes it just disappears. Please rework the claiming for pve! Everything I have read indicates that even if we had a home, all our hard work could be stolen in 30 minutes. That is NOT why most of us are on pve! If we wanted our stuff stolen we would be on pvp. It’s bad enough ppl can steal out of our fires, smithys, etc, and now they can ‘have it all’ with a flag and 30 minutes to kill? Please fix the claim spam and ability for someone to steal everything out from under you in a day. It’s not right!

so my tribe mate told me some1 whas claiming or flag so we looked around and find them claiming or flag with or shipyard on itwe are building a shooner and they try to claim it.we contest it and won because a alpha horse killed the guy,but how can they put a claim flag on or land???they put a 3 day timer on it right?3 days offline then they can claim but we are online and walking the hole time from home to our shipwe only have 4 flags ( 2 on land 2 at sea for ship building) whats wrong here???devs???

Ok me and my friend did some testing today about claiming flags. I've left company and tried to take over his flags. And guess what? I could instnatly, without 72 hours waiting, place my flags and start claiming his when he left to another area. What i could not take over were my 2 flags (which were placed before entering company, but after leaving it they stayed in company ownership). These are my only 2 flags in whole game and when i tried to place claim near them i recived info about recent upkeep, it was in seconds and was -18600 and it was rising to higher negative values (maybe it'll "rise" to negative value which corresponds to 72 hours). My friend placed a lot more flags and almost all of them had no upkeep, so i could instantly start claiming them. But there were also 2 of his flags that i couldn't take over. Those were flags that he placed as last ones. Mu guess: This looks like limit of 2 plags per character is on and only last 2 flags placed are protected by 72 hours upkeep. Any new flag placed removes upkeep from previous flags, so that only 2 flags can be protected by upkeep.

I copy this theme from discussion, cause i heard opinion that it's a bug(sry for a little spam, i moving this theme on different themes only cause some peoples say that it's a bug, i don't know, what is it, bug suggestion or what, it's the last one, i promise ). I reached 24 lvl, and one little guy, 7lvl, came to my island on Raft, and steal my territory when im bilogicaly sleeping. And send a message - "hahahahaha", what should i do now?(i have only 4 claimed territory for 2 man company, i think it's Ok, and i'm not hurt anyone's feeling.... How i can play further, when all my loot was stolen, only because i can't stay 24hours on server? Where i must build house, for what we need lawless regions? It can be normal in pvp maybe for big guilds, but in pve? When you just can't kill man, who stealing your territory.... Well, i think you must recreate claim system in PVE servers, max claims must be considered with numbers of players in company. And no fckng stealing. How can i stop stealing, when i can't kill a threat? How it must work?

I think there should be some sort of PvP in the PvE servers for us PvE players to experience boat battles. I understand that PvE is for Player against AI, but I would like to still experience the boat battles without having to go into a PvP server. Thoughts on this community Pirates?

Could you guys please enable the same clipping that Ark uses? Currently I can’t even fill in our fence supports because it says “obstructed” when trying to place the wall piece. Thanks

I reached 24 lvl, and one little guy, 7lvl, came to my island on Raft, and steal my territory when im bilogicaly sleeping. And send a message - "hahahahaha", what should i do now?(i have only 4 claimed territory for 2 man company, i think it's Ok, and i'm not hurt anyone's feeling.... Dear Devs. I really have a problem with how you "balance" PVE. Letting griefers claim whole islands, letting them take over what you have grinded for, this is not how PVE should be like. any clan/company should be limited to a couple of flags, and claiming others places has nothing to do with PVE. A start to balancing PVE mode (claiming) could be a 5-6 day inactivity countdown, after that the base could start to deteriorate and be gone within 3 days.

How can players demolish the structures of others in pve? Stealing the trunks on the ship is fine ... but inside the house, it's absurd. demolished my ship base construction. if I wanted to be rationed I would play on the pvp server. even my chests with passwords, 2 guys came and stole everything. and destroyed my ship under construction. This is unacceptable, I can not even retaliate since I am in PVE !!! and this should not happen.

I was reading reports that the flag system is not working (e.g. the 3 day timer is not always working). I heard rumor that only old flags (placed earlier) are not working. Is there any confirmed news about this? Also I would like to have an option, where I could config the timer to 7 days for example. Is there an option available yet?

It's impossible for me to claim back a stolen flag on my base due to the timer that's going in reverse. As you can see the timer is at -95270 seconds and 1 sec later it's -95271

Music should be a big thing in a pirate game, I was glad when i saw that there were instruments but I was disappointed when I realised you needed ¨ammo¨ to play it. The fact that you can find music notes around is fine, but the fact that they expire after ONE use is not okay in my opinion. My suggestion would be to either: -Make the notes last forever -Make the notes last x amount of times -Make a generic song that can be played even without notes -Be able to make music notes Good sailing!

Me and my friends decided to change to the pve server and they could connect no problem, not the same with me, I can't join, it always shows "lost connection with host" message. Is there anything I can do?

If you have played this game you probably understand why this game needs region lock. Please for everything keeping our sanity in tact, please region lock the game. I being from the US should not be playing on the EU server and shadow raiding everyone's everything while they are sleeping, just like they shouldn't be doing it on the NA server. North America is the following: Bermuda Canada Caribbean Central America Mexico United States & a small portion of Greenland so throw them in there too. It is not: Russia China Great Britain Germany, etc.

On the PVE realm there is a bug with claiming. When you are contesting a claim of some one that has been offline long enough, and someone comes in to contest it as well it increasing your current timer to claim. My company had finally found a spot, and we were 15 minutes away from claiming. Some one came in and continually try to contest and stop contesting. It took the timer from 15 minutes right back up to an hour and 30. This is a great way to grief players on PVE.
