  1. Other threads are here: Ramming Galley Majestic Kraken Mortar Ship Just few words before I start. Well... you know. After I've got this ship I... was kinda got that this WONT be a sailing game of my dream. I was thinking about something like Pirates of Caribbean, piracy and sailing age romance and all that king of stuff. I've enjoyed old Russian "Corsairs" game so much back of the days. And I was dreaming about getting modern MMO game like this. But with all 4 modular ships I can clearly see - it's just gonna go totally different style. More like fantasy world, with orcs and elves, dragons, magic etc. Not what I wish for. So... this season probably be my last one here. I've enjoyed the game, especially at the beginning, with all survival and exploration stuff, but... I just don't wanna THIS. I wish to ride some fast Caravelle or Corvette ship, to serve some fraction, hunt pirates, escort trade expedition, explore the world... or... to be a pirate. Not just pick sausage-like ship called turtle, and fight disco-rave damned ship with jet engines... It's nothing wrong with this concept. It's just I don't want it... I'll test Turtle ship anyway. Oh and my advanced shipyard didn't have this ship in menu. I had to remove this shipyard and build the same one. Only after that I've got turtle ship icon there. Basics It's same wide as schooner (wider ships just won't fit advanced shipyard) and twice longer. It has... you wait for it: - 4500 basic weight. With no sails - you'll get your empty ship 92.5% loaded. If you put crew there, it'll just sink. It has 4.0 sails points and your only option in the beginning is to put weight sails. It has 2 small and 1 mid weight sails by default and It gives you 9000 basic weight (around 40% of ship load). YOU CAN NOT PUT THERE A LARGE SAIL. Because this ship is just not allows you to do so. It shows "no snap point" message. So in the beginning your best option will be to put there 2 mid weight sails. It'll give you 9750 basic weight. Then If you wanna do faster setup, you'll have to spend like 20 points to weight, and replace weightsails with speed sails. - Empty ship with 2 mid weight sails brings you 5-6 knots full speed. You wanna sail half atlas? Prepare to waste 5-6 hours for that. The slowest ship ever. - It has 24 crew capacity. With 20 cannons 3 default sails and you - it has all your basics needs. RAW Stuff It's not just small hole for ladder between decks. Here the ladder is moved a bit, so you have to jump if you go up. Basic masts graphic is like that. But if you replace sails, all goes to normal. Paint... errr... just don't paint it. Hitbox feels weird. It can't handle shallow waters same as mortar ship, but I sail through pier and pillars like there is nothing there: Steering wheel in low deck. Masts in upper deck. So manual sails control is tricky. But here you also protected from cold weather and tornadoes. Gunports. Alright. By default this ship has: 20 cannons (8 each side. 2 in front pointing forward. 2 in back pointing backward). 32 gunports (12 each side. 4 in front pointing forward. 4 in back pointing backward). So we have 12 gunports without cannons. Unfortunately you can't equip empty gunports, because cannon replacement still broken. Now. We can't do anything with gunports in front and real castles. But those 16 gunports on board sides, can be turned to: - up to 16 double gunports (which increases amount of gunports up to 48 but amount of cannons up to 36. 16 each side and 2 front and back). - up to 16 oar modules. - up to 16 regular planks. But with all those options, those parts will loose their armor. Only single cannon gunport brings armor to itself here. Also this spiked shell roof count as "railing" but you can't replace this one with railing modules like catapult or so... Armor. Most of default part has armor stat on them. - Castles has 10 000 hp and 15 600 armor. - Gunports has 7500 hp and 15 600 armor. - Railing has 5000 hp and 15 600 armor. You can fix usual HP with patches. You can fix armor only in your advanced shipyard (you need to move your ship there), with green anchored stat, using special hammer and armor patches. Armor patch cost the same as usual but instead of wood you need to use metall. Usual patch requires 100 fib + 120 thch + 200 wood. Armor patch requires 100 fib + 120 thch + 200 metall. Imagine your ship have all parts to 0 hp and all armor to 0 as well (and it didn't sink for some reason). To repair them all with patches you'll need overall: - 53 500 fibers. - 64 200 thatches. - 32 000 wood. - 75 000 metall. So this ship is most expensive ship in terms of maintenance. There is a hint there tho. Instead of repairing board side modules you can just replace them with new one. Each costs just 20+40+60 wood+thtch+fib and it'll brings you full repaired parts : )) I'll continue this thread later. I'll move it to open seas and see what my adventure brings. But... well, it's gonna be a bit difficult for me. I just don't have any inspiration to do so... Stay tuned anyway.

Started playing on Blackwood and started a base on Freeport and along comes a lv 195 Alpha tiger, how the heck is someone meant to deal with Alphas when your just starting out lol, it was even at the traders docks at Freeport. And this is the default lv lol, eventually build a trap after getting killed A LOT and we killed it but dealing with alphas when your lv 8 is nuts lol, I thought Freeport around the merchants would be like a safe zone but was I wrong lol
  4. No. They will announce when the update is coming and what time you can download the update. You won’t be able to join until you are finished downloading which is usually a pretty big file. The fastest internet wins. that is also if they don’t crash the game with the new update and people have to wait a couple days to play which has happened. If that happens they will give you multiple times about when the servers will be back up but they usually get that wrong as well. Plus once it is finally up you will be fast asleep. Happens to people all the time. make sure not to take vacation for it because that is always the most stupid thing anyone can do with these guys. Lots of wasted vacation have happened for some people. I wouldn’t bother trying to be first on because it almost never happens
  5. I have been wondering how the experience is in PVE servers and why you play them, aside from the default,.. don't like pvp etc.. . What is the economy like? What experiences have you had on official servers? Trading? What to do with the excess gold you have without needing to man cannon towers and mortar towers? How is the overall community, welcoming, trash talking? Is there ever accepted war declarations?? (this is one im most interested in, as it could be very interesting if 2 companies come together and fight within a set ruleset, maybe for contested land claims, other RP reasons) Just interested to see what its like on the other side i guess, and maybe one day 10.0.0.0.1 have a gander over there to experience some of it myself The main reason why I personally see they not to be as fun, as there is no risk.. A small force from our company took 2 ships 192.168.1.254 out down south to do some whaling, (1 whaling schooner, 1 armoured brig to deal with SOTD and ward of any aggression) it was sucessful, but coming back we had reports of hostile activity within our home grid, so we had to plan a route to get home, that would not take us straight into the fray, and get round the hostilities and keep our gold safe.... I could be wrong with there being more risk, but thats the biggest off putter for me right now so would love to know your experiences
  6. Mate most of us have been saying it for years They won't do it though, I don't think they are capable of doing it. All they know is Ark coding because that's what it's based off which was the wrong move before they even started making the game. I do miss Atlas but I would never play it in it's current form, if they changed it I would be back like a shot just like the majority who has already left. It's either join a large company or suffer and play alone, no thank you.
  7. It is a true shame that very minor bugs are still happening. I get if they can’t fix huge ones, but damn. Once again, could have been a great game but they definitely chose the wrong devs for it smh.
  8. if your play time is 15-30min a day then atlas isint for you. there is alot more casuals games out there, but if u have alot of play time and stil takes days for you to gather dor a shipyard and a brig, Then u sir are doing something wrong. Then instead maybi ask for tips and tricks. And yea without gold sink the gold is worthless. we need even more gold sink stuff
  9. I wanna add one issue I noticed when 1st Ramming Galley appeared. But with current Mortar Ship, that survived 10 times more battles it caught my eyes most. This one will be without a picture. Sinking time of modular ships is NOT STABLE. I don't fully understand how does it work, but it seems to me, it all depends on this small ship HP icon at bottom right. For example. You've got your overall ship more than 90% hp. You've got your rear castle leaking. Your ship will sink in like 30 seconds. You've got your overall ship around 70% hp. You've got the same rear castle leaking. Your ship will sink in like 5 seconds. If it really working this way - it made terribly wrong. Because in this situation we'll have to waste alot of patches for like 200hp repairs (making modular ships even more expensive), and it making this ship more vulnerable every cannonball it receive. In terms of damned ships fighting, all modular ships are extremely weak, and most of all - they can not TANK. When you playing with your friends, mortar ship might be good SotDs destroyer. Just kite them and let your friend do all mortar works. But if you wanna play cool fun boardside battle, then BRIG is still your only choice.
  10. Still no response like for real ive been very patient with this game im trying to stay that way but god damn wtf is wrong with yall. Can you even do anything right. Like come on every single large update you do breaks the game and we loose everything. I know this is a project launch but your just wasting peoples money at this point for a broken game that you can only play online some of us like and prefer the single player but no you had to fuck that up. Fix it. And stop acting like a bunch of rookies
  11. Other threads: Ramming Galley. Majestic Kraken. My first impression was: ahahahaha... I mean it looks like some structures on kids playground. But anyway. Let's get serious now. Mortar Ship. I actually liked this one most of all 3 ships. At least in terms of green SOTD fighting. I survived all battles and this is the first modular ship that I brought home after naval mission and level it to 20. But If you want me to describe it with few words. It's small. Slow. Raw design. And with mortar cosmetic. +++ + Good handling full speed. + Compact cannons. Manual aim never been better. + Front Castle has perfect room for all your boxes, beds etc. + Steering wheel under the roof. It gives you protection from tornadoes. --- - It small and looks a bit funny. - Raw design (missing paint parts, small ladder hole, no snap points for extra ladders etc, typical for modular ships in current state). - Broken hitbox which is a lot wider than visual model. The ship can't handle shallow waters. - It slow (fastest sail setup gives you just 10 knots). - POV made wrong. Large sail blocks up to 1/3 of you view field. Manual aiming hide your ship behind screen border. - Crew doesn't follow you to 2nd decks and castles roofs. - You can't replace cannons. New one will be pointing forward and be unusable. - Mortars are broken. Crew manned them doesn't shoot or reload mortar. Mortars basically for manual use only. Basic Stats. It has same 9000 weight as schooner. It has 8 (125%) cannons in low decks gunports and you can increase this amount to 16 by adding 4 cannons railings. It has 2 mortars atop of front and back castles (pointed forward and back) It has 3.0 points for sails and with large speedsails runs 10 knots. It has 16 crew capacity. With 8 cannons 2 mortars and 2 sails by default - it can handle all of basic crew needs. But if you add 8 more cannons there are 5 points for crew to spend. It has average handling with no speed (360 degree turnaround for 6 minutes that's 3.5 faster than Kraken). With full 12 knots handling is perfect!!! It turns fast and you can dance with damned ships as you like. With compact cannons placement, manual aiming never been better! With 12 cannons and 300 cannonballs I've got all weight bellow 30%. The ship also has just PERFECT front castle room for all your boxes, grille etc. Sails (updated). Default ship has 1 middle and 1 small speedsails placed close to each other. It gives you just 7.5 knots empty ship. So your only option here is to replace this setup with 1 single large sail, that gives you 10 knots. Paint Is traditionally raw. Alot of unpaintable parts in front/rear castles. Also deck atop of front castle is paintable, and desk atop of rear castle is not and follows 2nd region. Oh and... yeah, I've been expected this one: Raw design. Hitbox is WAY bigger than visual model: Also this ship can't handle shallow waters. Brig can approach closer to the shore than Mortar Ship. Also I can't replace my 125% gunports cannons and 100% deck cannons with better ones. New ones are placed pointing forward and not useable from this position. We still have only emergency ladder to climb and can't place ladders to large sails crow nests due to object limitation (c'mon devs. There are 17 rope ladders needed for each large speed sail). Fun part. Also your steering wheel right inside rear castle. It's a bit troublesome when you need to run somewhere and you must climb there to get to the wheel back. That's might be critical in battle conditions. Also with some tilt angle game shows that you inside the house (with building icon on the right). It might confuse you during the rain. While ship is pitching, game constantly changes your state from inside to outside and back. And rain sometimes just disappears and then appears back. But there is a good news here. Tornadoes doesn't land any damage to you. Oh and you can jump out of side windows by jumping then crouching through. POV. You point of view is awful. During regular travels most of sail just blocking third of your field of view. It's difficult to check if someone (or something) ahead. While you manually aiming - your ship is hidden behind screen border and you don't see where you sailing. Which might be critical during the battle. Maintenance. It's not just about Mortar Ship, but also about other modular ships. I just found that bonus repair skill increases patches efficiency. With 3 skills taken each patch heals for 1600hp. But "amount of patches needed" anyway shows how many patches you need with no skills and 1000hp healing from each patch: Mortars. Bad news here. Mortars of Mortar Ship just doesn't work with crew. We have 2 mortars here. Front atop of front castle. Rear atop of rear castle. So. - Rear castle mortar just doesn't belongs any groups of ship. And there is no option in to any menu to attach this mortar to any groups. So if you put there a crew, you won't have any button to make it shoot. Front mortar belongs to front group. But I couldn't make my crew to do a single shot. He even don't reload his gun. I've tried: - To put mortar ammo to ammo box or in crew pocket. - To set all kind of targets and distances. - To manually reload mortar. - To use manual (trajectory didn't appear) or automatic aim. My crew just refuse to shoot damned ships. So I guess right now we've got 2 options here. 1) - To play with our friends. 2) - To make kiting tactics. Just point your ship somewhere with 4.5 knots speed uncontrolled, then man mortar yourself and then shoot damned ship following you. The damage mortar lands is pretty good. I hit damned schooner for 18 000 damage with single shot! (I'll continue testing it later, so stay tuned).

  14. I found a solution on PC, works with a new and with an old save. There is a file in the "Saved/Atlaslocal" directory, the LastGridCoord_(numbers). (this file store your home grid and your actual grid) When you play after the new patch and exit/log out, the client save everything in the directory (grids, tribes, etc), but the lastgridcord is bugged at the moment, and this is why you keep resetting your game. The solution is: you need to put a "?Version=1" to the end of the "lastgridcord" file, because probably its missing in your case too. For example: If your lastgridcord file contains only: ServerX=7?ServerY=3?HomeServerX=7?HomeServerY=2, then you will start over and over with new char, etc. Its a wrong one. But, if your file contains the ?Version=1 string at the end, something like this: ServerX=7?ServerY=3?HomeServerX=7?HomeServerY=2?Version=1, then you can continue your progress without resetting your singleplayer data again, and again, and again. If you have old save with the new 11x11 map and you copy back that savegame, then you need edit the lastgridcord_(numbers), put the ?Version=1 at the end and you can continue that savegame too. You should check this everytime before you start the game and make sure, the ?Version=1 is present at the end of the lastgridcoord. (sorry for my english, i hope you can still understand)
  15. 35 - Boxes shows random weight numbers. DEVs, you do know that all sowed numbers in your game shows totally wrong values? For example I mentioned it here in my past seasons. Now I noticed something weird with my resources box. When I first approach it show totally random numbers of weight. Sometimes it's 2K. Sometimes it's 17K. Sometimes it's 4K. Etc. But if I open this box, the number will match to what it is inside + box weight. Until I go away/cross, and back to this box. In this case I again see some more random numbers.
  16. why cant i put explosive barrels into the munition storage? they are way too heavy. Also wtf is wrong with ballista/catapult weight. Both weight more than a cannon. Thats totally unrealistc. THey are made out of wood compared to the metal cannon. get real!~
  17. I have now no doubt anymore that developers are helping certain groups. It all started when my shooner in my shipyard got deleted 2 times within a time perriod of 20 min. That cant be coincidence, and it definitely wasnt a bug. Some companies have invincible structures that take no damage. Depending on who is friend with developer gets that luxus ability, huh?! THen one time when we were attacking a flag island, my whole ally got disconnected at once, while they were chased by a schooner. The shooner then almost sunk the ship when they came back. 1 Of my ally got teleported teh day before into the middle of the ocean while we being in a fight with the same company that somehow disconnected us (or the developer). And this happend to me, i got teleported into the middle of the ocean right after i fell from my elephant onto the soil of their flag island. Besides, when we still had our tames and were fighting on land, they were all set to passive (we never set them to passive), i quickly noticed them not fighting back, so i set my yeti to "attack my target". And when my yeti got attacked (i was on an elephant) it again didnt fight back. On top of that did my puckles on the elephant never shoot at any enemy. I was like, huh?! wtf why are they not shooting. Then i saw my allies tame getting attacked and not fighting back either, so i told my ally that his tames were set to passive, he replied that cant be he set them to neutral before. This all makes clear that some developer was helping "Rive Sud" the clan we on whos island we were fighting. And today this: I jump into a ship fight against another company (4th dimension) and I noticed quickly that my cannons were bugged. Every time I moved the aiming cone over the opponents ship the aiming got canceled. U know when the the grey aiming cone turns into yellow, yeahj that exact moment. And i kept dragging and draggin and it fucking didnt wana work, even if the brig was right behind my schooner. RIGHT BE HIND ME, 10 METERS AWAY. And the cannons simply couldnt FUCJKING aim at it!!!!The aim cone didnt appear. Even my fire bolt ballista coudlnt aim. So fuck off! I used that thing hundrets of time just like the cannons and I know how they work. Ther were like 30-40 situations like this. And then my schooner started acting weird, driving into the wrong direction even if i told it to go into the other. At one point my schooner was so out of control, when i tried to take the curve away from the shore and pressed the button to lower my sails, the sails actually immidiaetly accelerated again and the ship just fucking drove straight, it didnt listen to my commands. So i ran with full speed into the shore, and ofc that was my end, i coudlnt get out fast enough before the brig came and shred me into pieces. And this is just my story, there is lots of players' reports that mention server being shut down or they all got disconneacted etc right in a big fight. I am done with this game and the admin abuse of it. And btw this goes also into my steam review!
  18. 33 - Crew doesn't wanna shoot. Yyyyeah, I've got my Ladybug Brig armed a-a-a-a-and, both my crew from both low-deck front cannons just drop their stations instead of shooting. I've tried to replace cannons, switch crew members, but all goes the same way. When I first shoot (or either it's first automated shoot) only 5 cannons are firing. (confirmed reason - stone figure head is blocking their stations. Removing stone figure solved problem). (Here is pro tip btw. If you tired of bright vivid light from lanterns, use brown dye. Check picture below). p.s. - I've tried to run totally default 12 cannons Brig and DIDN'T like it at all. With 160% cannons fight way too long, I take hell alot of unnecessary damage from both sides, and I've got just 10 cannons because of issue I mentioned above. And one more thing. Imagine I wanna hire better quality crew from shipwreck? With fully equipped ship I have to... just throw my current crew overboard. I mean I know this is just game, and I shouldn't bother, but... it seems wrong for me. I mean sometimes children grow up playing games, and you force them to kill their crewmates to get better... 34 - Structures that build over treasure spot making all horrible. Today I've got treasure spawn right below someone's lumberyard. All damned guardians spawned all around but one guy spawned right inside of lumberyard. And this guy was just untouchable. I couldn't hit him with tame or melee weapon. My riffle didn't land a single damage on him as well. All I've left is just watchin this guy, waiting for next wave appear and hope no one will spawn inside lumberyard again. So please make spawns not appear under players buildings (or... I would mark all spots somehow, through extended HUD info for example, and made them forbidden to build on).
  19. How is factions theme park? Don't see your logic there. Majority of the players have already left the game including myself which lets you know people aren't happy with how the game is right now. As for large groups, of course it's being pushed that way. Companies are large groups, you can't solo in the game anymore. It probably won't change to factions but getting it out of my head? Not a chance because that's the way it should be different opinion I'm afraid. They have certainly pushed it towards large groups, the more people you have in group the more points you will have to take over an island, solo no chance. Sorry you are entitled to your opinion but in my view you're wrong.
  20. And the last message here. Battle damned ships by Majestic Kraken. I'm sorry to say that. This ship is NOT SUITABLE FOR SEAS BATTLEs. Now. - It has totally wrong player POV point. Just too close to the ship. Both large sails seriously blocking field of player's view. I wrote you this one before. You need to move POV to ship center and adjust distance. With this Majestic Kraken it was difficult to navigate ship through battle to attacking spot. - Maneuverability is LOW. With lack of speed (due to heavy weight) it turns slow. So NO "dancing" with damned ships. Battle style here is more like Galleon style. You sail straight. Shoot. Sail away. Turn around. Repeat. Difference from Galleon - It just slower on straight, so you receive way more damage. And it turns a bit faster. It makes Rally totally useless. You fly-by to a single shot. - For some reason manual aiming and shooting doesn't work. When I hold my LMB cannons trajectory just doesn't appear (same as with frontal cannons of Ramming Galley). And shooting just doesn't happening. So "V" button for automated aiming and shooting is the only option. It makes Overdrive totally useless, because with sails blocking the sight you just never guess when your crew do their volley. - Gunport's hit area coded totally wrong and broken. No matter where cursed cannonballs lands - all gunporte receive full hit and AOE damage. Meaning, even after short fight versus small green damned schooner, you'll get all 6 gunports damaged and you'll have to spend 6-15 patches for maintenance. How did I lost it. I was dare to fight a single lvl-8 damned galleon. It turned out this Majestic ship cant't stand a single damned galleon volley, due to gunport hit area feature and broken sinking time. I received a single volley from damned galleon and got all 6 my gunports gone. I received a message about "damaged planks". Then my ship sunk in just 3 seconds. You read this right. With 140 of sturdiness and all skills increasing sinking time all I had is just 3 seconds to get inside ship hold (through tiny ladders) and somehow raise 6 gunports from 0 to 1500 hp. I mean... even if I had 6 players with hammers and patches, and they stood right next to gunports and they started to repair them immediately after I was hit, they couldn't save it. They just couldn't have time for that. So... Yeah. This Majestic Kraken mostly for battle small green schooners. Or lets say, to buy it, then park to the base harbor and don't ever touch it. It's just safer this way. Well. I don't wanna throw epic words about piece of crap but... seriously. For example my Brig could handle couple of lvl-60 damned galley's volleys. I could dance my fight, manage damage and maintenance etc. Majestic Kraken received single volley from low green galleon and you dead. You won't even have a theoretical chance to save it. I wish dev's come here and told us what they made this ship for and how do the see it works. But I guess, they can't say that. Because... they just never tested it, they don't know how it works and how it balanced, and they couldn't imagine it's gonna be this bad. We here for that. We tested. It doesn't work. Your turn DEVs. p.s. - This season I gave Ramming Galley 3 chances (killed 225 rhinos for that). With this Majestic Kraken I just don't wanna buy it again. Even tho I know @Kummba have another set of tentacles for me, and I do really appreciate it very much, thx, but... I don't see what else can I do for testing. It cant survive a single galleon's volley, and sinking in 3 seconds.
  21. Hello, So, simple problem, but i don't know the solution, hoping some of you know what im doing wrong here. Sail design, done with atlas paint converter + Photoshop, import the file, its supposed to look crisp, when applied, looks faded with like a "tint across" Sails are blank, fully erased, no color at time of applying the design - how do i stop the fade and have it apply with the full color density?
  22. Other threads: Ramming Galley. Mortar Ship. So. With great help of @Kummba I bought this brand new Majestic Kraken and... well I wanna speak with DEVs. But before that I just wanna say to all other players reading this message. DO NOT BUY MAJESTIC KRAKEN if you plan to do some seas battles. I'm sorry to say that, but right now it's not suitable for naval battles. Now DEVs. Guys. Seriously. This is not gonna work. If you want to expand this modular ship concept, you should make these ships attractive and desirable for players. In this state the ships are right now - they are not! It's like players put hell lot of efforts and get some unplayable raw jest, which brings just doubts, question, and in some case disappointment. +++ + It looks really epic! + It rare. You'll get players attention from all around. - - - - Raw design. Very tight especially around ladders to 2nd and 3rd deck. Only emergency stern ladder to climb and sometimes tentacle-cosmetic just push you back to the ocean. - You can add there just 8 custom objects. - Handling is average. It's ok full speed and completely horrible while you stay. Totally not enough for boardside battle. - It has lack of payload. Equipped for battle it'll have more than 50% total weight. With opened 24 gunports the weight rises for more than 67%. - It has average speed, but in battle conditions (equipped for battle) it's slower than sloop. - Extremely expensive in maintenance. 200 patches requires more resources than it need for full Brig creation. - Player's POV is too close to the ship. Sails blocking most of the field of view. - Can't manually aim and shoot. Just automatic shooting. - Broken gunports hit area. Single volley of low level damned galleon takes out ALL gunports. - Broken sinking time. With 140% sturdiness and all skills increasing sinking time - ship sink it like 3 seconds (which making it not suitable for the battle). Broken: * Crew leaving sail's stations every time ship cross the border. * If you try to replace cannons in gunports, new ones will be placed pointing forward. Getting the ship. This time I've tried to sail to the shop with weight sail Sloop. Didn't work for me at all! With strongest rainy storm downwind it runs just 7 knots. I experienced upwind - and most of my time I sailed 3 knots. It's... well... eh... I mean, I hit freeport and then went for a walk with my corgi dog. After we back I was still on my way to grid center. So... non of any sails works. Best choice so far is mid speed sail. Also 22K gold. Devs do you realize how do player carry that many hah? For example my pathfinder can pick from the chest just 13K. If I wanna pick more I need to drop some gold to the ground then pick some from the box, then pick all I dropped from the ground. Now imagine I came to the shop, drop some golds to the ground and some troll-player appeared and while I was picking gold from my chest - he just steal my gold I dropped to the ground??? Seriously. Reduce goldweight a hundred times. Make it attached to player as it is in all other MMOs. It's just no point to make it as it is now. Raw design. First impression - those holes leads to 2nd and 3rd deck made totally wrong. I mean it's OK for a dwarf, but I play mid-sized pathfinder (around 60% tall) and to get to 2nd and 3rd deck I need to crouch. If pathfinder will be 100% tall he just wont make it. Imagine, I need to do emergency maintenance during the battle and... I stuck in the ladders. You allways do ladders through 2 block holes!!! Some textures were also broken. I guess this one is somehow connected to ship damage and just showing wrong textures set... this is the rear castle. Snap point for ladders would be great at boardside between gunports. And it's not just about every1 hates this emergency stern ladder. Majestic Kraken have those tentacles cosmetic and sometimes tentacles on stern just push you back to the ocean. It also might be critical in some cases. You need to climb onboard fast and tentacles pushing you back from the only ladder. Paint is fine, but front and back castle doesn't follow other parts regions. For example. You can paint railings to red and body to black. But front castle allows you to paint either body and railing to red, or both body and railing to black. Same within rear castle. Something strange with name of the parts. Like I have: - Rear castle with 15K hp. - Rear mid below which is undestroyable. - Another Rear mid below Rear mid with 10K hp. Oh, and if I look at ladders, it shows: "Hold E for additional options". I'm holding and nothing happens. Bad news. You can put on this ship just 8 objects. JUST EIGHT. So you can't put there all. Like in Brig I put there several boxes (to make all in order), all for food, cooking and storage, couple of beds, smithy and mortair-pestle for ammunition resupply, all those resources, munntion boxes. 5 wallhooks with lanterns. etc. Well. Not anymore. Just 8 objects through whole ship. Choose wisely. Crew issue. Yeah this ship CAN NOT handle all required crew by default. So if you wanna put 24 crew to cannons, 2 crew to sails and drive the ship yourself you need to raise crew capacity from 22 to 27, meaning, you need to spend 5 points for that. And you do know that all default ships are capable to carry all their basic needs. Sloop has 3 crew - 2 for sails and 1 for player. Schooner has 14 crew - 10 for cannons, 2 for sails, 1 for player and 1 for extra... for a friend or tame for example. Brig has 16 crew - 12 for cannons, 3 for sails, 1 for player and 1 for extra. Galleon has 59 crew - 52 - for cannons, 6 for sails, 1 for player. Sailing. Yet another bad news. Crew still leaving sails station after each border cross. This ship turns way slower than Ramming Galley. In fact. With full speed it turns more like schooner. So boardside fight with damned ships is questionable. Of course I'll try this later, and write my impressions. As for turning around with no speed... well... errr... It's slow. I mean it's S-L-O-W. It slower than Galleon. I just wanna say that it makes 360 degree turnaround in (you wait for it).... in approx 21 minutes. So when you visit tundra freeport with cliffs lagoon, you make sure you parked your ship right. Or you will do 180-turn departure within 11 minutes, just sittin and holding A (or D) key. I'll continue this thread later, so stay tuned. More screenshots and impressions to come.

Everything that can go wrong with the modular ships has gone wrong and more. and they dont care if kraken and rammy gally dont work, they have done sucha minimal effort to fix them its insane.
  24. Chukiki you do not understand the game that is according the Devs a free Sandbox (MMO [RPG]). Peace Phase is very good for the game and should be existing in your lawless claimed teritory as well(offline raid protection). The game target is that online Players fight each other. OOR can be abused if you simply log off. But a Peace Phase is a fix timer you choose to match your personal time. For me the current Combat time is even to long but i guess most Players are fine with it. The new ship(system) can be improved. It needs to be, at least the repairing and health system. I wrote about in other topic already about the Majestic Kraken. Yesterday i fought a ramming gally on EU PvP and it had no real chance against my Speed Shooner build for Hydra killing. I still vote for removing barrels from ships. They make playing shooner nearly impossible. I had to repair one Shooner solo missing 9 planks from one barrel barely rescued it with 2 HP buckling and repairing/replacing at the same time. Rammming gally and Majestic Kraken would be gone way faster with that damage received. A turtle for harbor run on armored ship docks that need 25k Cannon balls + to destroy? LOL. Mortars on ships was removed season 1 because no way to balance the grief on land. Also that lead to heavy ugly turtle ship meta. Yesterday i also saw stream where 8-9 ships tried to sink green anchored FOB ship of the biggest EU PvP company. They shot about 40 minutes non stop and removed 3-4 planks. 5-6 people repairing + bucketing, some farm rep material on the island and about 10 horses in the background that raided the island(90 players on server) I think lots of the shooting ships got sunk when the big company + ally arrived with 6-8 combat gallys and some supporting Brigs. regarding BPs you are completely wrong. My full answer you can find in this topic with more detailed ideas to balance the system. Removing would be the death to Atlas.
  25. I agree to all comments before besides Chukiki of course. He is wrong as always. There are right now way to much exploits and abusive ways to play the game. Also lots of crashes and bugs that need to be fixed. Shipyards placeable in the ocean where ever you want to... into trade wind or just in front of your chasing enemy. Quality 200% ships out of common shipyards. New towers caused server crashes used by loosing troll and flaming players to crash their enemy servers for days(stucked themsevles to play with their seconds). Towers got removed again(not placeable) - no patchnotes (15% speed buff is a big joke anyways) I got information that complete ships can be duplicated - not even the BPs or precrafted parts, barrels, gold which are all reason for a permanent ban. Some Players i know play their 5th to 10th account already because of the bans they already got. Even "big" Atlas streamers/youtube with prior status in official Discord get banned for exploiting. BP balancing is stil of way - found and crafted cannons with 350% damage(ok, only 3 crafts) It's the game target to find BPs and craft them to gain advantage about your enemy. Now BPs are rare, ships cost gold and everybody under company size 30 will never take the risk to lose such ships - forever docked in the harbor^^ BPs need to drop in damage on cannons to max 200%(my proposal) for mystical. 100-115 grey, 116-130 green, 131-145 blue, 146-160 masterwork, 161-180 legendary, 181-200 mystical(+ inteligence). Durabiltiy could be variable/random. Same level for medium planks durability. large planks/gun ports should be caped at 150% =max 18k HP + inteligence. This would make ships with blue or masterwork more interesting and also accessible to solo players and small companies. mystical Brigs driving around with 17/18k HP on the gun ports(3-4 crafts) but you find only so little planks max 11k HP. Ships look so ugly with all the different HP planks due to the low craft amounts. Large handling sails BPs are rare as always causing big company internal issues who gets those on his ship(where is the fun left to play the game?). The loot needs to change to drop more medium and large planks like you get gun ports and also more large Sails. Nobody needs medium besides Sloops. If mediums would be balanced that you may use two of the on a shooner instead of large + small...(will not happen) Spearm whale you can only hunt after server restart.... otherwise there are just no to find... and they do not drop the good BPS anymore like previous seasons. If there would be more discounts players would buy 5-10 copies to make sure they can play further on after being baned because of exploiting. This would cause some income for GS but not new Players. But more second company Players which means more overall Players. Of course the limit of one warehouse per island is good for PVE but on PvP it's a pain now. Most farms are not connected and have to be emptied by hand. I would still argue it should have a range of the total island. Only positive of the new Season is the reduced amunition weight in the new container. Oh and as well that you can drop now resources out of this container and the warehouse(may not intended by devs - no patchnotes)! That is QoL improvement. You can also drop from gathering buildings... but the resources may not drop where you can reach them^^ (Quarry - center; lumber - center below; Mine left edge half inside; farmhouse - in the wall) This could be fixed to this new buildings.... why the hack they don't test this before adding? If warehouse is placed on structures the resources droped fall through the warehouse texture and you can't reach them inside.
