THis is a noproblem, just shout abit (del) to use up all stamina, get of the wheel and watch you foodlevel fall. Also berries and vegetable give very limited food above 100. Just be carefull with spamming any kind of meat. Refilling lost health reduced foodlevel, so just eat in smal portions, to refill vits. Get of the wheel to do so.

I have no idea about ark, but from what people told me, it seems they forked atlas like 2 years ago and did not merge any changes made to ark afterwards. @boomervoncannon this ^^

Best solution i read sofar, but seems hard to code and teach to player. The problem was worse before, now with 150 slots it is only cluttering view and the transport. Both can be circumvented tho. Not beeing able to get a single stack out of the ship resource box is more annoying for me (giv shift-t for 1 stack please).

I second this, render is way to short now. When render one, please let us render all around this one. Currently you chose a direction to evade, only to see more and more and more of them appear one after another in your way. We can not make educated decisions. With kinda bad wind in a galleon you can not realy revert your first action, but have to live with it. Server transmissions are bad also, ending up in a storm with headwind in the middle of a bunch of SotD is only beaten by an allready attacking polar whale awaiting you!

How tho for not GA ones? Any breeded bear with ~220% melee w/o raiders bouns will kill any map. The rider has to know what to do tho. Self breeded/imprinted bears are laughing about level 100 guys. Only difficulty is the surroundings, terrain etc. Golden age is a different story.

Yesterday i managed to lose 3 planks to SotD, they pile up nowadays. Three gallons in perfect line i had to sail by because wind. It was quite an new experience, so thanks for that. But now i am done with the SotD again for some time, please despawn Also i started utilizeing a Razorthooth, i have to say i am in love with the beast. Its speed and turnablility is amazing. The view point changes the world so much, have i said i love them? Other then that it is 2x breeding more then 4x farm.

You got me wrong. I dont support active griefing, neigther do i do it myself, i feel griefed often tho. I support his arguments about blocking and stuff is griefing too. I hate when people jump on one detail when somebody telling his pov, losing the global context. I can not garantee to not spawn a map in an uncertain situation, so it could be me to spawn stuff in other people belongings by accident. You are still hurt from your loss, but u did not build according to the risks out there (no foundations) and you got punished hard. Archer should not ignore LOS @Jatheish @Dollie i second this. I also agree with a wider ban radius around foundations. BUT i think it could require a total rewrite of the spawn mechanic for maps (--> super low prio), bc it could made more bottles go poof! Because people are poky in here. THEY BUILD ON 1 low pillar, or no foundations at all. THEY dont care for spawning AotD, dont know about the problem. AotD dont spawn on foundations for my understanding. The map can be generated, the spot can then be overbuild afterwards. When people build on low pillars, allowing stucking tames and shit, they ask for bad things to happen. How are you judging the spawner of the AotD, but not the (uninformed) structure spawner. Just because he says he would do it again? YOU ARE DOING IT TO HIM AGAIN ALSO! And yes, blocking areas off is griefing, if you claimed an island, you have no right to take it away from the community. When u do a map u activly support the owner with gold that is substracted from your gain. Try to comunicate in this game, u will get a reply in 1/10 if you are lucky, EU PVP that is. Come down. The people know/should know they build on a spot, it is their fault not his. I dont take the map outa hotbar when aproaching a beam neighter, i would spawn them also, without even knowing the situation. THE PROBLEM is the devs changed it so the sotd never despawn, and are worse to kill then before and changed spawns for many grids. NOT my/his/the other strangers fault. I dont think tames can kill high level aotd by themself, they heal to much.

There are grids were the 8-10 q bottles go poof, all higher are working. If you hate the poofing of 13-15 to much, collect on other grids.

The only problem with food is that u spawn with 100% HP and 50% vitamines. THis is neccesary in the beginning, because u can not survive for 5 min without eating as a lowlevel. When u level your char, you should spawn with less and less food level, health and vitamines. Just prevent suicide for refreshment from like level 30 onwards. Other survival games dont spawn you with high vitals eighter, you have to take care of them after a death. The EQ buff is underrated, which i dont understand. I even value the suid q reward higher then most of the other rewards, it is so good. The buff-food is to bad sadly, i switched to use normal cooked meat and potatos. I only like a Creme Brulee from time to time When something is to good, it will get nerved for PVP (abuse) reasons (tripple Grog for farming anyone?). I hope the cooking and vital system is still a place holder and will get altered/enabled in the future.

Different grid, different q range for poofing. It is a bad desitionation grid which causes it, in my understanding.

Hi cantore, there are mutiple valid reasons why people do so. One is afk meat farm with rejected tames! If u dont like the population / set up of an island, just sail to the next. I do maps in bulk normally, about 5-10% i cant/dont do. Most of them bc they dont work, some bc i dont want to build up. When u did maps all around the world, you start collecting yours at a grid where it will spawn the good maps in an easy biome. You also know where not even to set sail too, when u buy maps, know your locations even better. Having to toss the first masterwork map is a hard loss, but with your amount of hours you should not bet on one single map only anyway. At least we have maps!
