  4. holy molly, just when you think they couldnt be dumber... so if the settlement owner quits the game and someone else claims it bye bye to everybody's stuff???
  5. is good to ask for stuff, but now brain it, we already have lag spikes with like 10 people on 1 grid, and you want to make it so 1 person can move multiple boats at once? also remember this devs are obssesed with groupal content, to the point they neglect solo players and gate content behind groupal activities, i dont see this happening.
  6. videogames were created as a distraction, as a way to enjoy and have fun, is good to have a rewarding feeling in a videogame, its a hook, a psichological addiction, we seek that feeling troughout all of our actions in life, since its something we seek videogame companies are using that to attact people who is frustrated in real life (notice i am generalising, this ofc doesnt apply to every gamer or every game) by giving them ingame that feeling they couldnt obtain (for watever the reason) in real life, i think thats the wrong move(wich doesnt mean that is intrinsecaly a bad thing), for it turns videogames into a psychiatric treatment, sadly "acomplishment" is something that many people wants and it sells very well it kinda resembles the drug-addict drug-dealer relationship, so i believe the most healthy move for both the gaming comunity and the videogame industry is a balance between fun and reward
  7. thats one more bug to the 10 months old list, it happens when NPC angle the cannon upwards to shoot far away targets i recall it being only a visual and sound bug since the planks actually dont take damage but not sure if that is still the case.
  8. 1) corrent, i always said it was stupid to let SotDs ignore wind since that takes away all strategy value of wind in PvE 2) i always found this to be more of a sneaky + strategic run than a fight your way through kinda thing, you gotta know the terrain, the timing and the skills you need to use, once you use all of those in the right way is actually very easy. 3) this devs have no fucking idea how to run a pve server 4) the biggest reason i quit this game was lack of pve activities, once you have satisfied your couriosity about the game mechanics, and there is very little to win vs a lot to lose in every activity you could do (specially if the game acts up or crashes) even when you wanna take a break from the game thats a no go because the decay system will always be preassuring you to log in they cannot make the game shine because (aside form their incompetence) they have been too busy cash grabbing the xbox players (i can even forsee a DLC 6 months after official release) and they are unable to understand what a pve player wants.
  9. so you want to pvp but also avoid pvp at your convenience? dunno man sounds like a griefers paradise if you ask me, and as someone who lived 700 hrs on lawless if that was implemented i would probably quit the game (even considering i have already quit rofl) i rly dont understand the obssesion of pvp-ers with wanting to force pve-ers into the same server, if pvp-ers were not dickheads having 2 different server types wouldnt even be necessary to begin with. so ty, but o ty.
  10. the problem is that people who play pvp to offline raid others are simply cowards who should be playing pve instead, but thats human nature so not much you can do about it

Stop your horse right fucking there, this greedy B******s have already halted the development of content for pc to release on xbox () dont fucking give them ideas until the game is finished (AHAHAHAAHH.. like it will ever be) well good luck with the viking content, 1 whole year into early acces and we still have the very same 4 type of ships we had at launch, so you should probably grab a chair.

  15. remember the game is still on early access for 1 more year so i wouldnt be surprised if there was another wipe coming at oficial release.
  16. that happens after you let go the wheel right? its been a long time but i remember you had to order them to "cease fire"...i think ....cant remember if it was the "C" or the "V" those 2 were activate or deactivate, so you have to remember to deactivate it every time you park and activate it every time you sail or they wont attack the SotDs, a work-around would probably be to open/close your gun ports, cant remember the hotkey for that since this game expect us to know hotkeys they have never even mentioned anywhere. I have read someone saying it was related to the cannons set up, it isnt (wasnt?) you set up the cannons only for firing distance or/and objectives priority like mounts (in pvp)
  17. well i dont share that view tho well thats a tricky question, and what makes it tricky is that i understand how you feel about it, yet if we are being perfectly honest Atlas by design is not about skills at all, proof is the fact that you can offline raid, the fact that mega companies with hundreds of members can freely attack companies of any size, etc. that would be unthinkable in a skill based game, i believe atlas is more a simplistic concept like "raid and get raided" well i always tought that the int crafting thing was crap but not because it was OP but because it forced you to craft 5 million pieces of something to get a "worth it" version of it, wich in my eyes was even worse than what looter shooters do, that said if with the very few people remaining they take away the stuff that makes the game fun for them well...GG i can respect that our opinions differ at some points, yet this: "that was absolutely demanded by the vast majority of the player base" is bullshit and i dare you to prove it.
  18. player support is as usless as feedback in this game mate, that being said statistically speaking anything that is/was ever fun in this game had/has the higher chances of getting removed/nerfed so i wouldnt put my hopes on it coming back. omg a game in wich you get stronger after spending hundreds of hrs in it!!! HERESY!!!
  19. another 10 month old problem that is still unfixed... but yeah lets work on the xbox lauch instead!!! way to go @jatheist Zousug, my suggestion is put your tames 2 fundations high, and if possible under a roof, in this game collision is fucked up so some animals kinda ignore walls collision, also for some reason i will never understand animals spawn on the sky and then fall to land (ever wondered how a crocodile made its way up to the top of a mountain?) it probably happens out of render distance not sure.
  20. yes, map fog should have never left the game, it was not only a meaningfull feature it also would help you keep track of what you had visited and what not as well as give a nice rewarding feeling to completionist players, that is just one more example that suggest a flip a coin method of choosing when keeping or deleting features instead of using feedback.

  22. i know mate, i also had that phase, but eventually you will move on, dont worry well they already stated in the live stream that atlas has : "probably too many tames already" so i wouldnt put my hopes in that basket.
  23. well if i wanted realism i wouldnt be playing videogames, so i am ok with superstitions if they are properly implemented and fun, but i dont see what base you have to give precise numbers (the 50% thing) so i will assume is just a way of talking, and well i am not trying to be picky here but changing the name of something doesnt add any value to it nor to the game.
  24. unbelievable indeed: is not sailing across is sailing around kiddo, so instead of playing atlas how about a good book instead, you need it probably you should also take your tranqulizers before writting, not only you are overly hostile but also unreadable: "It blows me away in his either people in forums can't read" →→(blows me away IF either people in forums can't read) "across the current grid " →→(AROUND the current grid) " I saw that all 3 boars are gone "→→ (i saw all 3 boars gone) " LIKE I CLEARLY STATED " →→ clearly
