I added 2 chickens to a sloop that had 2 people running it and it started to sink! It was sinking because we had 4 out of 3 allowed crew. I wanted to add a source of vitamins and food by getting eggs. 1 female chicken for eggs and 1 male chicken to inspire her. It is ridiculous to count chickens as a crew member. They are cargo and should only count as weight. How are we to trade animals and run a ship? All tames should only count as weight/cargo.

My Schooner will not move. It is not overweight, no anchor, no ground just water and open sails but my ship will not move at all. Been sitting here for an hour now with no movement. Have tried spawning in another server then back to get it going but no luck. And please restart the servers they are currently unplayable crap.

I put canon in the deckhouse, you can mount it, it reloads, but when I press shoot, I just get off it and nothing happens. The target indicator shows that there are no obstructions, I can shoot freely, but it doesn´t work.

We lost another Schooner last night. Losing ships is of course a part of the game, and I really wouldn't mind that much if it was at sea, trying to deal with the ships of the damned. This time however, the ship was safely anchored next to our shipyard, and apparently decided to self destruct during the night. We didn't even have the chance to take it to it's maiden voyage. I personally had the ship larder fully stocked with food, prepared 10 beautiful cannons and ammunition for them , in case we'd have to defend ourselves at sea. Filled the lanterns with oil, so we wouldn't have to sail in the darkness, hauled all the necessary repair materials to the ship storage and made sure we had some nice tunes picked for our war drums. After a hard day's labor, I decided I had deserved some rest and went to bed. Apparently, the gods did not take this too well, as next morning I woke up to find only flotsam in the place where our ship used t o be, and an empty ship skeleton at the bottom of the sea. Such a waste of materials and man hours... As we are a very small company with most of the members unable to play excessive amounts of time, these losses hit us pretty hard. Oh, did I happen to tell you what happened to our first schooner? We apparently did not have luck on our side, as we encountered around 7 ships of the damned in a storm. Miraculously, we managed to escape the hostile ships and the storm, and as we let out a sigh of relief, our ship did a 360 barrel roll, and instantly sunk. not giving us a chance to do any repairs. Hence, we've named our 2 sloops CCCLX No Hope and CCCLX No Hope II, both being mercilessly brought down by the damned. Once again we find ourselves shipless. This is a bit of a drag, as half of our claim resources have disappeared after our friendly neighbour placed a boyu next to our claim, and the island also happens to be infested by wolves and lions who enjoy attacking defenseless people in packks, making the resource gathering intolerable. Sorry for the rant, just being a bit frustrated at the moment.

To be clear: this is a very specific "test" because i dont have access to spawn and test things properly. so my test is VERY specific. normally id test various things but i dont have the ability to do so without spending hours farming stuff. which is not something im whiling to do. Problem: 1. sloop auto anchors with NPC on sails. 2. Anchor raise visually via icon when leaving the sloop but seems to still be anchored functionally being that the sloop isn't effected by waves like an unanchored ship is. **Needs further testing** 3. Sloop seems anchored even when sailing (see attached pictures). i have not tested any other clues to the sloop actually being registered as anchored or not (via ship of the damned attack or something) because i don't want to loose my sloop. **Needs further testing** Reproduce: 1. have a sloop anchored on small shipyard with med speed sail on 2nd from front slot and an NPC crew member (mines lvl2) on said sail. 2. Open sail manually by opening sail UI and clicking open. (see note 1) 3. get on the wheel and try to raise anchor or do anything sail related with npc on sails. none are responsive. Neither the ship or sails will move. Note 1: I'm not 100% sure this is the cause i just noticed that it acted differently. instead of the anchor raising like I'm used to when i misclick, the anchor stayed down. I'm not sure if i clicked +10% or full. Should be: 1. NPC on sails should not auto anchor sloop. 2. Sloop should anchor when exiting sloop (as per im used to seeing), not raise anchor. 3. sloop should not anchor in deep water (as per im used to seeing) but seems to. **Needs further testing** extra info: 1. sloops acts as normal (minus anchor icon) with NPC not manning any positions. 2. Have not replaced NPC crew member to see if it's just the NPC that's bugged. 3. have not tested with 2nd NPC cew member on wheel. 4. i have tested moving to another region. The bug persists through different regions without step 2 from reproduce section.

So I logget into Atlas official server a few moments ago and wake up on my ship and see it has half life and is overweight. And I asked myself why yesterday when me and my friends logget off every thing was okay and then I see some guys swimming with tons of stone to our ship and overloaded it. The result is that our ship now is gone for what we worked hours. And we did play PvE and that people come and tell me they do just pirate things sinking ships and that. In my opinion I whould say we should be able to pin lock the ship ladders or give only companymembers and allyedmember access to enter the ship in PvE or a ship should only just be unable to move when it’s overweight and not get damaged. Then i think people who build an Brigantine or Lager come online and just see that what I explained above who is the point in building a ship in Atlas where a ship is recommended?

hopefully this isn't already posted 100 times on here already but, Is running into 7, i repeat 7, Pirate of the damned ships/Ghost ships with in 2-3 mins of each other really how this games spawning mechanic is supposed to work? we avoided 4 ships barely as the first spawned off our right side , then the second straight ahead taking away most the wind. then a 3rd ship off to our left effectively taking away all the wind lanes and surrounding us with all ships spawning 400-500 meters out. we thread the needle of the ship on our right and center as we near the N4/N5 boarder as the 4th ship spawns left and starts to circle left and makes a pretty abrupt turn right and aggro's toward us as we cross the boarder. it follows through the server line and is about 80% accurate on shots as you guessed it we make it through about 4-5 volleys of fire 2 more ships spawn ahead left and right of us . only option is keep the wind at our back and full sail to out run . we out run the original enough the cannons our falling short only to have both ships on our left and right to aggro and we start taking on water, repair, and have a final 7th ship spawn ahead of us and finishing us off sinking it. so really love that in a 5 min span we have to deal with 7 ships in less than 5 min . I feel like this is a pretty absurd amount of POTD/Ghost ships in such a small distance and to have them in such a small amount of space to react. I'm assuming this is not an isolated incident but would like to hear either way what everyone's experience is so far on actual ships that are not rafts .

I started to play that game with a few friends and after a short period of time i was the only one left playin this game. So i builded in 10 Hours a Sloop (smallest Ship) on my own. After i finished the boat and took it for a ride for some Minutes i went to bed. After sometthing like 10h AFK i logged in and found out my ship is gone. .. I am more than pissed right now. I ve a fuckin regular Job and like playing games, but still have some other stuff to do in my freetime. If u want casual players to play the game you should fuckin delete that idiot decay on ships. If i need 10 h to build, i cant farm all fuckin day to keep it alive. I want to be a pirate and explore.. not just fuckin farm mats for havin a boat that deletes itself after i went to bed. I can see that game could be awesome...but plz delete that decay on ships...makes it unplayable for casual gamers...even people that kinda play 5 hours a day cant have their own ship cause of the farming u need to do...just for keeping the boat alive...this is more than Bullshit...its brainless... I really like the aspect of building and i have no probs with farming mats... but not if all my work is destroyed overnight..

On Tuesday 12/25/2018, we had our schooner sitting in the ocean while we logged off. We get back on and it was apparently destroyed by a ship of the dammed. Was this intended for Ships of the dammed to aggro offline ships? In addition, last night we built another schooner and pulled it near an island. After we logged off and came to check on it in the morning it was destroyed as well. No logs, no nothing. Someone mentioned decay timers were 8 hours????? If this is intended, it definitely needs to be increased to at least 12-24. People do need to sleep and even increase the timer depending on the size of the ship. Ex. Raft 8 hours, a sloop 12, schooner 16 etc etc

Hello, there is a bug preventing friends/teammates from being able to spawn on the ship while it's moving. Instead of landing in the boat, they simply fly off if the ship is moving and end up landing in the water behind. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

So I got this when I tried to sail away, well you can basically see it (PS Forgot to remove the twitch stuff when I recorded via OBS)

Just as the title says, I have only seen this on sloops as I have not been able to test it on other ships yet. When the ship's anchor is deployed; the ladder that comes already attached to the sloop is not usable. When clicking "E" on the ladder, the character goes into the climbing ladder pose; however, when you press "W" to ascend the ladder your character runs into the structure of the ships and falls off. This makes the ships impossible to get on without attaching a built ladder. This only seems to happen when the anchor is deployed.

Does anyone know if it is possible to reclaim your ship if you switched companies? I made a company just for fun solo, then when I joined another one it caused me to lose ownership of all my ships. Also I guess this is a PSA that you will LOSE everything you own if you switch companies, besides boxes you pin coded yourself. Any suggestions or Ideas on how to fix this?
