  1. Dont try to understand it, they change aiming in third person often, scissor seems to be a victim of it. @JakeM
  2. I try to find an old picture later. it was a hole like the designer did a hiccup with the height slider like 100 foundations deep with 5 foundations radius on top. No space to put ramps down. Got trapped there in an attempt to do a map on a mountain top. I did not even try tbh. I sailed to old TTC (anne) and got some new bears.
  3. The stucking animals, i dont even....... Bring spyglass all the time. Regarding your build, spawning animals could indicate a pillar somewhere, or your assumption with differnt meshes are to blame. Good Point, thanks for reply.
  4. As said before, give something more meaningfull at your destination, and the sail speed become secondary. Otherwise: If i only sail to pickup some tames, and i can plan my journey it takes 6min per grid. At this speed means you can go everywhere on the map in about 1 hour. Oc the ship is more then empty (~12% load)! The hardest part is sailing trough equatiorial where there is no space. I have a 3 122% handling sail (fighter) brig, which is fun to sail, not to slow, wider angle and turnability of a schooner and beyond. A good BP of this is a welcomed game changer. The speed sails BPs need a purpose asap. To fix sailspeed they can not easyly increase the max speed. When traveling with 21 knots, you can not reakt to SotD with a galleon, neighter correct a beaching course other then spam x. Going fullspeed is taxing. Also avoiding other player ships can be hard (not that it matters in PVE). You might deload while laoding an island. I would like to have (speed) sails have a higher efficacy for lower wind senario. Like atm speed at lowest wind is 0.57 times highest wind (not storm). How about making speed sails to bring it to ~0.75 or even higher? That would be 16.35 knots instead of 12,4 knots for a 21,8 knots topspeed galleon. Kinda reasonable.
  5. B10 - The Shrimps Enclave - Has Tier'd waterfalls. Very pretty land, But island is packed. ^^ THIS, with oil in the ponds, there are 3 plateaus if i remember right.

  10. When i sail i have some c&p i spam from time to time, trying to motivate someone to communicate. Also when wind is low i demand: hello higher entity of m4; STORM please . Many people do react, which leads to a nice conversation. Best reply was GRANTED so far. But i agree with privat communications also, often when i sail, i chat in multiple discords rather then ingame. Problem is i tend so sail straigt into galleons while alt-tabbed, just lost 2 front planks of my schooner yesterday, AGAIN.
  11. Bookshelf was an game changing additon for me. We only had 75 (some crafting stations (12Kg), large storrage box was 45) slot container before. The 280 slots for searching maps/Bps was/is so great. Using NPCs was risky back in the days, the fell throug ceilings and such. Also they tent to even more engram the BPs/maps. The weight of the maps is a no problem, you should go with a stripped down ship anyway, to be able to carry more gold. The Bookshelf itself is 1unit (i dont even know the unit), right? Complaining about rounding, really. Full bookshelf (280 MAPS) <100 weight units, that is 400 Gold in weight. So do 1 map and have more weight allready? Also the Bookshelf has another use that i dont want to miss. I place it at the back next to a sideplank. Now i can run over it with full speed bear and get of the ship without stopping. So it technically replace and unboarding ramp too. The extra use to increase spoil time would be good. 5 days is abit short, but i think that this is more database related and not an artificial limit.
  12. Is it build on floors only or are pillars used (or even not enclosed at all). Did the whole pack spawn inside or only some?
  13. Welcome back (in the forum) Globy! To Topic: I did trap one of my bears in a "hole" where no ramp could be build. I freed alot of bears out of terrain or player traps. I have beaten undermeshed bears to the shoreline etc. What i want to say is: There are alot of ways to get tames back in bad situations, BUT there are also deadly traps in the terrain. For every problem with stucked tames: If nothing else helps, set them on wandering and reenter render from time to time.

  16. I like @seruums list alot, some points not so much but most are great: My favorite, it is meant for floatsomes. A method to determine which version to spawn is badly needed. My list (not fully assembled) - Chat system (MMO worthy) - Reporting (please give cords for everything, reduce multiline spam with same information) - let us know where company members are at (grid/coords) - Fix the sail angle for handling sail. This feels so sad! - timers for owner. Like ship dacay timer, tame claim timer (remember ship bug?) - Broadcasting Playershops on ATALS map for PVE. Including offerings. - Default setting for babys: Passive, disble ally looking. It is fine to set the others as prefere, but passive men! - shift-t for exactly one stack out of the resource box. - catch all keybinds when typing in chat window! - .....
  17. I have this permanent rubberbanding from time to time. It happens when i start moving to fast after a login or fast travel (kinda while still loading in) , dont know if it is the same problem. I go (slowly) back to the starting (loading) position and spam crouch/prone/jump for about 10-30 sec to fix it. Others have suggested to do it while walking/running into a corner. Does it make a difference if you are at the steering wheel or not @boomervoncannon?
  18. I dont know why you take it personal? Regarding XP buff. I just wanted to know if you can backup your statement, bc i found other facts a while ago tbh. The game changes, so i just wanted to know if it still holds. So thanks for your reply. AND Assumption is the mother of all screwups THATS why i ask. Regarding behaviour of SotD: Your solution, i just wanted to let you kown that it can be used the other way around! AND other people agree, as you do. No need to get personal as i said.
  19. Thanks both. So both confim there are Spawnpoint/areas somehow. If a playerstructure is somehow not enclosed, AotD can spawn (like in the raided barn post). Also they can spawn outside with some glitching into the building, if the building is enclosed. I also had situations where i could not shovel bc ceiling / floor on pillar. Blocking spawnpoints intentionally is an interessting idea, but maybe the maps for the blocked spawns just go poof?

  21. Did you check the numbers or guessing here? When i checked it way back, it was more benefitial to have the XP buff allready while fighting then only for shoveling. For most changes to PVE content you have to take the griefing potential into account. So keep that in mind when you think you found a solution.
  22. I was sailing to capture an island, some guy had a flag down already, we sailed away. I dont get why we have to fight. First come first serve would have been way easyer for PVE. Now it is a knowlage/number/dickhead game. This characterize PVP for me.
