So to start there is good and bad with claims .I appreciate the development wanting to update and change this system however the claims themselves need work first. You work hard find a claim it's over lapped by other flags you claim some but they are all half claims basically that's ok you got land you just won the game right? These claims are not secure. Your neighbor could move that beach flag 5 feet to the water then over lap all your over lapping claims. The over lapping is an issue then even if the claim system is changed everyone wants beach front property with docking alot of land doesn't have either. Then the water line in alot of places is set with rocks and random hidden land almost like the designer wanted to see how many boats they could beach.the first encounter we get of this is in Freeport you can easily beach a ramshackle let alone a bigger boat no port in the world would exist set up that way. Back to land claims the three week timer is nice but because they didn't give a grace period to cap without sleeping contesters we still have alot of land that hasn't been claimants on pve since launch. The first three week timer since the change is just ending so we haven't even seen the change of the implementation of sleepers not contesting claims.

I've had tames fall through ceilings with pillars today for the first time I had an elephant fall through a cliff foundation. My message to devs is give us some way to combat it if its a hard code to fix that is understandable but give us something to build or do that can actually work tames take a lot of time to go get and it is discouraging to do all kinds of crazy things and none of it work give us anything that will keep them safe boats roofs ceilings walls cliffs does not work 1 thing we can all do til the code gets worked out

I've also had the hardest time with taming elephants ever since the patch they made to prevent taming thru walls. The only place for the most part I can feed them I take damage even with armor and a shield I die multiple times losing part of the tame. The shield doesn't block the big aoe attack for the most part. My problem is that prior to that patch when I was taming them the correct way with out glitching them it was easy and enjoyable now it is a miserable experience and after 8 attempts I give up and kill the elephant each time. I really hope they revisit the feeding positions on them at some point. I believe that made all taming worse instead of the feeding [E] recognize a wall or window or open door way it seems to just process it as wall mesh any help would be appreciated with this devs. I do understand some people are not having these issues as bad and I have tried multiple pens and with out a pen. Bears for life for now lol. Happy sailing all.

I don't think a wipe would be good or helpful. If you want a wipe get off of official and join a mod- server that wipes all the time without warning. This is an MMO constant evolving world wiping it does not benefit anyone all it does in the current state is change what groups control land it wouldn't be any different than now and with the hundreds of hours to do power stones, exploration to level up pass max takes up so much time to do that for a wipe is going to turn off most people. If you think a wipe would do anything to help land claims and spam after two weeks or so we will be right back where we are today with probably less than half the population.

I just moved to a new spot with cobras a plenty 5 ran through my walls the first day and hung out in my new pad they were terrible house guess I built 2-3 foundations high 2 foundations wide as my outer walls they can get there heads up through 1 and a half-ish foundations and attack you almost two stories high. though they can't come through stacked foundations then I made a cliff base close by with a ramp from my base to it for tames a raised platform with pillars 3 to 4 levels high would work. I have no problems in my base with the snakes any more. Im not suggesting going through all this work and if you do use stone but if others have cobra work arounds pls post to help other players gg all

I believe it's coded the same way that they changed taming awhile back its either a wall or not it doesn't care if it's an open window or open door way the server reads it as having a mesh or not. I'm sure they'll get to this at some point.

Put rapid decay on non allied ships in claims with a 24 hour window so if your harvesting exploringyou can not be in a rush. But you make it like Freeport people gonna get the f out quickly. And while I mention Freeport decay rates pls post for new players like a territory message and give us say an hour from entering in or making a new ship before decay rate starts? It would help traveling thru to get crew you gotz take be quick currently

So to protect against this I have two questions. First do large gate still destroy ships if the gates open or close on a ship? Second question every time I anchor my ship with A.I. crew they fire cannons on fish even though I have it set on ships only so if I leave my gun ship facing out with crew on it or on cannons on a dock what settings work on them to only fire on troll S.o.t.d. ?

5 cobras ran right through my stone walls of base yesterday . I invited them to a berry tea but they just hissed me to sleep instead. Lol

For me taming is alot more difficult now since the change they made a few weeks ago. The problem I have is they constantly glitch into the mesh of the trap. I know why they made the change but after alot of taming multiple types of animals pre and post this patch I really hope they revisit this soon. Something seems towent wrong in the coding I can't feed animals with no obstruction because it reads a doorway as an obstacle but last night I had 5 cobras come through the stone walls of my base not sure how but they came right through the walls.I hope they have time to look into this happy sailing all.

Last night I was loading my ship on N.A. Pve from running back and forth from my base about a 2 min window I come back to a big yellow weight on the left of my U.I. over my ship with the health of my ship blinking. I run out thinking did I over weight it? Then I check ladders there is a JUNJUN from ???? on my ladder{did not have time to screen shot from what I've read so far wouldn't matter unless I was a streamer and caught him in the act on a stream then maybe. I quickly climbed another ladder and demolished the one he was on my ship health went back up instantly. This was all in less than 2 mins that's right that ship that you've been working on decking out with cannons, levels crew takes 2 ish mins for this exploit to destroy. I know every one has suggestions normally when making post like this and I know I don't know the code I guess it is hard code if the current float til you die is best way to keep griefers off your ship which what I've read but would not test is that they can over weight themselves hoover over your ship then their inventory over weight your ship. So my suggestions is if the anchor is down for the yellow weight that is coded into damage to the ship not register said damage until anchor is released that way you can check it yourself before you allow this to happen to your ship. I love the game and am having and fyi last Thursday or so almost all lag for me was gone and then it got patched back in lol .Happy sailing. Would demolish ladder with JUNJUN from ???? on it again.10/10

I hope they revisit there last changes. I have really enjoyed taming it wsa a little challenging but felt worth it even if an animal spawned in your pen after sailing it half way across the world I could always go tame another well not any more. I've made 3 attempts at taming an elephant since the last patch and the fix to the desync patch the degrees at which you have to feed it is straight to the face only as soon as you get an angle that looks like it want murder you it want let you feed it. I know why they made a change because a hand full of people were feeding tames through a wall but a lot of us were doing it the right way sneaking in and feeding it where it wouldn't murder us. Other tames are more difficult but possible you just need to use a shield now. The shield block in a little janky to start each time but it works great for bears but with the elephant most blocks that work it still hits you in the back or somewhere else with its aoe attack. I'm really hoping they read this and adjust this soon.

The Bad: Taming now is almost imopossible im not sure if they just coded it wrong but the angels of being able to feed it were greatly affected. I know they didn't want people to tame through a wall but feeding it from angles and through doorways is a solid mechanic but you can't do this now. I personally think stop nerfing things that make your janky game fun. They said it would probably be 2 years till full release well swing your nerf hammer then let us pay you to alpha test your game at least have fun doing it. We need to beable to kill animals quickly if we grind up the mats and skills for guns animals should not have to be lead to traps or use glitchy mechanics to kill you increase the difficulty because that is your vision of the game ours is we like it we are having fun but INCREASE OUR QUALITY OF LIFE

I don't have access to my beds I made it back from freeport the bed I had on the new boat and I replaced a bed and still nothing works. I have not tried making a company yet

This happened to me as well on Pve Na server. There is another post with multiple people having same bug since the patch a few hours ago and confirmed in the freeport I was in as well

If you have a good trap and 20 mins if you don't lose part of your tame you can just use coconuts which probably be where you find the elephant important thing is to put it in the last slot of your hot bar that is where I believe you are going wrong doesn't state it in game but yes it is on the wiki and thanks to everyone contributing to it gg all

Well since they fixed resource spawning on lawless servers water twisters are coming into land. Yesterday alone I saw multiple anchored ships next to my ship sink by them half my ship health was lost twice from two different times I witnessed it my ship in my harbor that has not been released yet had its medium planks at half after a couple of these. I hope this is just a bug but I have not seen anyone mention this but im holding on building the rest of my new ship til this is addressed
