  1. I saw an post somewhere here.. hrmm.. Oh maybe this will help with the EA and Alpha and Beta and all that, some of you seem very confused about. Hope it Helps.
  2. Just because you may not see immediate results on one thing or another, even an obvious problem does not mean they are not working on it. Amazes me on how many people start huffing and puffing and stomping their feet over it still. I am not a streamer, many who are on a streamers stream are not streamers but, reg players who joined the game, just like me. I am having a lot of fun, I can play the game fine and as well know how problems can come up after a content patch that has bulk to it, I as well know from playing many EA games and even some games that re out of EA and sold normally that find they have to patch things still.. I do not expect the game to be in a done state any time soon. If it becomes unplayable to me now, I will shelve it and keep an eye on its progress before jumping in again. I can do so, now, tomorrow or after its finished. If I did not enjoy it as much as I have so far, I wouldn't bother with keeping an eye on its progress, when/if I can't for what ever reason comes up, play.
  3. Those that don't have the time or wish to ride the waves of in development chaos, please do step out and wait until the game has progressed enough to be over the rough start. Start does not mean the day it went live, start can mean another month or so, even of development. Allow those who enjoy the progression of the game and ride the waves of improvements and setbacks that, come with it, do the ground work of that development to improve the game for you in the long run for the game, overall. heh. Though, game needs those who do come up with specific problems, so please be sure to keep reporting things as they come up with as much information on what happened! I feel bad for those who are still having connection problems, that is concerning.. NOT the temp connection problems that come after an update but, those who still have not had a stable run at all.
  4. How can anyone conquer the world with.. 20 people Though, I am all for a cap smaller than the current cap. Anything lower than 100 seems too small, heh. This. Hold cheaters accountable and let those who are trying to enjoy the game for what and how the game is suppose to be played, alone. There are a lot of potential fun and great gameplay out of the gamers out of China, those that cheat just spoil it for everyone in the end, Including their selves. Please consider NOT cheating or exploiting in games. pls. Everyone would like palying with you then. (goes for all cheaters/exploiters) btw, not just one group.
  5. I am just impressed that the OP was on the EZ killing side and is reporting that Flame Arrow is still too much. I agree in Pvp that is bad.. In PVE please don't take it away, its about the only thing can use at times against Alpha and or stronger wildlife.. btw Wildlife is more OP than anything. heh.
  6. I do know they adjusted affinity level v Level of Beastmastery in the patch but, no idea if/how that effected tames from prepatch.
  7. I wonder if that has something to do with the update on level cap and the adjusted pnts gaimed, again. I lost a level but, had more points to put into my skill tree than I had before the patch at the 1 level higher.
  8. It is most likely due to the patch. Hold tight, I am sure they will have hotfix and patch incoming to fix a number of issues the large v10 caused. It is something that happens often after a large patch in any game. BIG patch then next day or so small hotfixes to fix what was disrupted by it. heh.
  9. There are some people Abusing an exploit and even admit doing so on a video they made on how to do the same thing so, yes. Many peoples ships are being sank by others abusing weight exploits. They want the Dev's attention to the fact so the Dev's will make it stop.. . or something like that. There are other things going on as well that people are openly abusing instead of reporting and not using.
  10. Then again, being unable to change the name gives the former owner the ability to spot a ship that suspiciously looks like his with his name stamped on it, still.

Bounty system for rep and not item/cash reward, is best way to go about it (wont be abused as much but, I am sure cheesy will find a way they always do) Yeah, bounty systems = friends collecting from friends in an endless loop of lolz winning this! Do like the rep up and down depending on your chosen gameplay though.
  12. IMO it makes more sense for PvE, Just not controlled at all atm because of the crazy claims all over. IF claims are even a bit more selective then you wont have 1- 4 companies taxing the entire map. heh.

I do think the freedom to take over how ever much a company can is kinda a part of the pvp however, I would like to suggest that maybe you think on capping a company to around 100 as well for Landclaims maybe do something like. 2 or 3 flags per every 5 people in a company up to a set # amount, total. Seems to me that would make it so any 1 company can sit on a server and there is still room for movement with in it even when the entire company is on (what isn't always) Companies would have to have some Flag management to do so wouldn't be claiming all over the Atlas world . Of course they will make several companies and Allied with others but, at least they would have to juggle who homes where in doing so. Claim limit is needed but, wouldn't want to take all the fun away, xpecially on the pvp server. And they would as well need to save a couple flag spots for ship claiming. IMO 2 per five would be best but, 3 would work better for smaller companies to be able to have 1 flag claim set aside for them fun ship claims. Just a suggestion and a rough one at that. ty.

  16. Or, Jim can load up in Silver, sail over to your shop and trade that silver for your copper that, you posted for trade on what you needed (the silver) heh heh
  17. I am pretty certain they could adjust how far away resources/wildlife can spawn from both structures and players. Though, since they had that spawning glitch earlier that took them a few days to fix, I don't know what they had to do to fix it. If resources are set to not spawn close nough you end up with permanently stripped land. Far as beasts, they could set them to spawn further but, with the amount of builds, do you want to risk not having any beasts to spawn and tame or gather food from? I do agree maybe just reducing the agro radius would help with a lot of problems, anyway. I am sure they will be juggling with all of that throughout the development.

I would suggest not parking ships at freeports, if they did not have ways to effectively destroy ships parked there, then no one would be able to move with the amount of ships parked there/new rafts being brought in by new players.. *both physically move through the waters and the lag that it would cause after a while)

    If you can not do the time, don't do the crime.. erm.. I mean, If you can not afford, collect enough gold to keep up your crew.. maybe you need to downgrade but, again. If it was super easy to get crew/gold .. then idk.. game goes directly to EZ mode.. and I for one would rather not see yet another EZ mode game its getting easier by the patch, as it is... lol but, am biased there so don't mind me.

    They are not there to fight your battles for you, over all.. just to support you? Remember, there is a lot of room for changing in the game and time to do it, it is still early early. If you have a good suggestion that would not aim at EZ mode play and keep it as something you have to work for some, Suggestion tab it is your friend. As far as loot boxes and stuff, those are easy to change what items drop, Again it is early early.. When there is more content to spread the wealth with and up the game, maybe there will be access to more items? Again, Suggestion tab. lol Just my opinion of course!
  21. Many creative thinkers in this forum, lots of ideas for new content and possible ways to change content that may not be working out well. Thank you to the Devs for addressing , not only game breaking exploits/glitches and bugs but, keeping half eye on what players have to suggest, what's bugging them. Even if you can not get to everything, everywhere ASAP. Thank You
  22. Yeah, I don't like the idea of an Auction House, Maybe Trade post. Auction Houses (like in wow) bring a ton of problems with it.. and I think most of you who have played games with player driven auction houses, know what I am talking about. This set up posted here isn't too bad. I still like the company driven Trade Post (they can set up at their Company owned land/port that links to a Company Bank, better. I am not sure what the already re opened Trade ships have on them, though or what more the npc's are selling , now. Do know that a lot of people seem to want a wider range of npc interaction in the homeports to make it feel like a "living city" but, not sure how quickly they want to add stuff in while they are still working on bigger issues. lol.
  23. People survive it all the time but, yeah. That happens a lot of times. I don't know if it is because those ghost ships were chasing someone else then lost aggro and just start patrolling and end up gathered near one side or other or something else. Shore ones are being changed, will that change the gradual behavior of ones near the edges of a server or are those set to do so like that in the first place? I do know it is not the case of players dragging them there on purpose, it happens on Unofficial servers that are set to private as well. though since they reduced the agro radius of the Ships of the Damned, it isn't impossible to pop in, see them, facepalm, turn and hug the line or go back through the curtain, move down and re enter. lol Most dangerous parts of Atlas Cold -being addressed Alpha and packs of Carn- Agro radius, spawning to close to builds/playres, ? Curtain crossing- exciting every time! pvp- Mega Monster Companies
  24. I have seen people who learn how to sail the ships, sail circles around those ships with lil problem (at least the lower level ones, not seen an alpha battle, personally) and this was with the 0%...
