Hopefully the devs see this thread and take some of the comments and things pointed out here into consideration as they move to implement harpoons.

Just like in your other thread, your playstyle is contrary to the way the vast majority of players approach doing maps. Instead of handling things the way nearly everyone else does, you stubbornly insist tames "suck" and refuse to use them, instead insisting that instead of you adapting to the game, the game adapt to you and your preferences. If tames suck so bad, why is everyone else able to do treasure maps far faster than you with no problem, while you are here whinging about something everyone else has figured out how to make a non issue? Wb Perci, been awhile.

Switching your crew around to different cannons as Willard stated isn't something the vast majority of players do, therefore whinging about a change that impedes it and demanding that "fixing" the thing you don't like take precedence over new content, which IS what the vast majority of players want makes you come off as self centered and entitled. Further, expecting a game that is in Early Access development NOT to produce "shitloads" of new content or complaining about such, is not remotely a reasonable expectation. The reality is that a thing you and maybe a handful of others do has been impeded by changes made to a game during the normal course of it's development progress. Further changes may alter this change you dislike in a way more to your liking, or not. Either way, you will have to pick up the pieces of life and move on. Whinging here and demanding your preferences take precedence over new content are unlikely to have your desired result.

Excellent suggestion. You got my vote. Also good job presenting your idea clearly and concisely and showing the potential benefits.

I will add only that while it’s true workarounds can help mitigate some of the issues you’re dealing with, the tone of your post conveys that you are someone who is being fair, wants to like the game and is giving it every possible chance but still unable to enjoy the play experience. Your complaints are stated without toxicity and appear to avoid hyperbole. This should cause your comments to carry more weight with the powers that be than most of the typical whinging seen here.

Interesting how you claim to have been playing a game that has only existed for 6 months for 7....does English not being your first language also affect basic math? Language issues aside, table flipping like a petulant child will get you nowhere. Since the game is in early access and these sorts of issues are exactly the sort of thing that needs to be identified and corrected, did you file a detailed bug report in game with all available information, or perhaps post in the bug section, or just come here demanding to be made whole as if the game were fully developed and released and you have every right to expect it to play flawlessly despite paying half price and being clearly advised this was an EA product prior to your purchase? BtW the 25 euros you paid is half the expected retail price. Stop acting so entitled. It will make people think you’re an American millennial.

Yes. Dont do them. They currently have insanely high rent costs of around 1440 gold per day. No I’m not exaggerating. Jat has posted saying they will reduce the rent but atm they are pointless.

Agree with the Op. There is a fundamental lack of judgement being displayed to an alarming degree on some of the things being put into the game for “testing”. Player shop rent was a shining example. It can be debated whether player shops should have a rent cost or not, and there are arguments to be made on both sides, but daily rent of 1400 gold was so insanely out of proportion to anything reasonable as to call into question the developers grasp of basic economics. Not at a PHD or even high school level, but more like a “did you grasp what they taught you in 5th grade about money?” sort of level.

You’re questioning why he didn’t get at least a forum PM to explain the reason for the ban, which means you’re aware of PM’s. That will save time. Someone genuinely interested in an explanation would avail themselves of the PM system to PM a community moderator, rather than post a public thread calling out the developers to demand an explanation. You were banned because you did something you should not have. As implied by other posters, the chances you did nothing to merit the ban, or that you were unaware of what you did was ban worthy are small enough that you are now enduring mockery. Developers also do not handle bans, gm’s do, so your question, if somehow legitimate, should be directed to community managers and not developers.

The world does not always schedule itself to your personal convenience. If you are complaining about this here, it means you have food, shelter, clothing and all of your true needs met.
