My game keeps crashing every 10 minutes to my Xbox home screen while playing offline. I just moved and don't have internet. What could be the issue?

Im having an issue with the game where it keeps fatally crashing. Occasionally it will just close to the desktop out of nowhere, most often it shows a fatal crash message. I have a couple of pictures on my pc but am not sure how to include them. After this crash I always validate the game files, and it always finds one corrupt file, which gets reacquired. I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled twice but it doesnt fix the issue. My hardware is more than capable of playing the game, and I always keep it on low graphics despite my Ryzen 7, 16GB RAM and gtx 1080 which should be able to handle much more. I love the game, but I'm struggling to want to play when it can crash anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour in game. Are there any ideas about what could possibly be causing this? I can't be the only one having this kind of issue.

Xbox Solo world crashes every 15-45 minutes and displays message on xbox home screen that you need internet to do that, even tho in offline mode. Highly annoying and makes a solo world useless. You would appear to have some background code that takes time to activate that crashes the game when not connected to the internet. Even happening on the start screen while looking through tutorials. Seems to occur less while not idel in game but happens reguardless all the time with the same xbox error message stating that "internet is required to do that function".

Is it possible to solo treasure maps or does it have to be done with a group? I ask this as I play atlas mostly solo and want to know before I go treasure hunting and end up very dead.

Dear developers, Do you really not understand how the social dynamics in this game work? Or do you really don't care at all? Why do you keep rolling over the small guy? Just why? CURRENT: V210.13 - Magic Mythos 2x is enabled on the Official Network: 2x Taming, XP and Harvest Rates - Settlement Owners can now raze a settlement after first claiming it. This will destroy all structures on the island. The cost to raze will be 12k gold on PvP servers and 25k gold on PvE servers. Settlement Owners will need to wait 48 hours to be able to raze an island after claiming it. The raze option will then be available for a 24-hour window only. This option is only functional during peacetime on PvP networks. Who asked for this? Who needs this? Now not only a company of teenage bullies can raid me into oblivion in a game that revolves around farming, but now they can also foundation wipe me for a measly amount of 12k gold? You already made the situation really bad when you enabled fast decay for settlement owners. 12k gold... They stole that much from me already. You are basically rewarding them for steamrolling me. The amount of (non) thinking you give to these changes are just appalling.

I have a suggestion for solve the problem with the solo player, Why don't make a non-pvp port with a bank for gold, values things, crew and 1 ship? (for a price of gold) Only for player without a company.

Dear developers, So these patch notes contain gold gain nerf. I think this got your attention as bigger companies were stashing loads of it! Which is because every company member around the treasure chest was getting the reward and it seemed to be too high as it would just multiply based on the amount of people around (not sure if there's a limit). For solo player it was just enough to farm a bit and to be able to save up to pay the crew while doing other stuff. I would suggest to either lower the company members' treasure multiplier ((to give surrounding company members a percentage of the map holder's reward(and revert the general gold amount back ofc)) OR lower crew payment amount as well as disable crew payment while offline, whilst adding more ways to get gold for groups as well as solos. As doing treasure maps is time consuming and I think it should be a part of having FUN and not turn into some kind of CHORE where it will be the only thing we can do to be able to pay our crew and have our ships functional. Now the gold earned vs time spent earning it - will make us not being able to do anything except treasure maps if we want to sustain paying the crew. Especially for solo players as it's not getting multiplied between company members hence the solo players are the ones who need the crew the most! Thank you devs for your hard work, been enjoying the game thus far!

The fact that you can own a company from start. Make a ship, and without knowing it. Leave your company for what ever reason. Could be an accident. You loose your ship instantly. If you then, somehow was at a freeport. To either find people, or get some resources easily. There is noway to reclaim your ship. This is just stupid. I made the ship for me, and there should be somewhat personal belongings, and company belongings. While i like the idea, of sharing and caring. I do not like the fact, that i am not able to "own" anything for myself if i am in a company. There should be an option to make a ship MINE. And I should be able to leave a company, with MY ship! Especially if i made the ship, before joining any alliances/companies.just my 2 cents here DISCLAIMER: I copied this comment from a post, which i made myself. I felt it could be used as a post. Ayee Pirates!

I'm just trowing my overall feeling about the game as a solo player before quiting for a while. Its my way to help an Early Acess game that I liked dispite anything. First of all I'm a solo player in a MMORPG and maybe I should have not bought the game in the first place. I loved the land experience in this game. I feel that it evolved alot from Ark and converted well from a Sci-FI dinossaur game to a Pirate/sailing game despite the "jousting" combat agains wild life and the slow atacks used to balance it that feels a bit cluncky. So far so good until I decided to play the "real" game here and build my first, my second and my third ship... While I respect and understand the need to add danger in the seas with NPC ghost ships they're too much and too strong for a solo first-time sailor. All my 3 sloops never passed lvl 4 or managed to return to the shores that they were built and here are the reasons that they sunk and made me quit for a while: - The not so random Movment from SoTD while they arent aggro yet. Its an old inherithed habit from ark where parassaurs always runs from danger in your direction(bringing predators to you) the bronto that keeps walking over the iron node so you can accidentaly hit it or the predators that always choose the prey that will bring it closer to where you are. SotD randomly gets closer and closer to you or in your way even when they're not aggro so those aggron range tunnings are not that effective. - The Transition traps is also pretty bad. When you change maps the wind usually change a bit wich normaly makes you slower. The process itself is a bit slow for obvious reason and adding to that is very common to find a good amount of SoTD waiting for you in the other side. With the issues said above reaction may be late. - Ok you can be faster on your sloop than a ghost ship but its a bit useless when they spawn surrounding your ship and just keeps the same speed with moderate turning radius against the wind. - Travelling to a cold area and tis high probability of death. So you're ok in your region vitamin buffed and using your hide armor and fully invested in fortitude and you transfer in your sloop to the side area and its cold area, for some odd reason your buff is gone you start to die freeezing and the time the game took transfering your ship to a new server granted the SoTD that was waiting for you a cannon ball hit that will break your bed. I keep seeing people saying that they can handle SoTD just well that they use some miraculous setup in their ships so they outruns and out manuever the SoTD in their sloops.Thats why I kept insisting on this. For me, nothing of that worked. I may be too bad at this game but also I had no chance to learn. Never had a chance to finish a voyage and come back home no relevant experience adquired. Even on 2,5x rates is a bit annoying to grind all mats to keep building ships and get it sunk in few minutes. The end result could be different if i was playing in a group even if it was small but thats not my case and i expected to have a chance to get started in solo mode. My suggestions: Keep those SoTD to some given harder map square only so players can avoid . Another option would be not making it random spawn in every map but some sort of event fleet that keeps traveling from square to square with a server announcment when it arrives and leaves a given square. Thats all, keep evolving as the game already gave large steps in just few days. Its clear the effor to make this game better and great. But right now the SoTD just killed it for me. See you again when those ships are handled.
