After the bear got to 3.5% maturation, it started functioning normally. Its health was maintaining itself.. But after another 10 minutes of it seemingly working fine, it stopped working and the baby bear died.

If you couldn't tell, my first thought was, what would a fully interactive ai supported baby taming system need? Then I thought, screw that, how can we cheat to get a better system implemented quick and dirty?

Yep, same issue. For the cold, inside virtually standing on two fireplaces, our baby bear was into single figures on health before the temperature rose enough for it to heal. The next day however it got too hot and died, even tried taking it for a swim to get wet. this is way too severe, especially as we are in the temperate zone that bears call home, I could understand having issues raising animals in climates not their own. This needs tweaking, and possibly removing if in it's natural climate.

I would love to see them make the game world more dynamic and in general feel more alive. The game world feels static and Ark is the same way for me. I love Ark, but as we all know it has some of the worst ai out of any game you'll ever play. It however is completely functional, it just isn't what I would call immersive or fun. I think adding more unique interactions between animals, players, and npcs will go a long ways. They could have nests and baby versions of creatures which was very popular in the Ark modding community. At this very moment in the game the creatures really are not that unique at all. Making them behave differently than other creatures would be a good start. Most creatures in real life are not hyper aggressive or hyper passive. My main complaint at the moment is the lack of immersive npcs. The human npcs could really set this game apart from Ark. I would love to see settlements, camps, pirate hideouts, etc. You could then raid, trade, or recruit them to your crew. This not only makes the world feel like a living thriving pirate simulator, it gives people fun distractions other than just killing "noobs". Having npcs that could wander or potentially even raid your base would be so engaging to me. The original bush people mod for Ark had a feature that allowed them to raid you and it was epic when it happened. As it currently stands npcs are very limited in their capabilities and it's a shame as I think it was supposed to be a highlight of the game. I think they have a pretty solid foundation, but I really hope they plan to expand and improve this. The freeports especially were disappointing. I expected something much larger than what we were given.

God you are an idiot does the little baby not want to lose his stuff? I totally get that people are too weak to start again, so I am with you on that but why did you need to act like that? Did it help you ego at all? I hope so because you looked weak saying that In all fairness ark was doing way better than atlas so if you really want to compare the 2, ark is far superior in every way. Even with the bugs Marla’s is shit, but that is because wildcard didn’t learn from their mistakes. Everyone ended up forgiving wildcard for ark. Don’t expect the same reception for atlas. These aren’t beginner devs anymore. Now they just suck

so much is wrong in this whiny post.... 1. you don't need to claim land to build a shipyard... you can build on/in lawless area + you can build a base there too BUT you can't have a bed on that island to spawn on... You CAN however have a bed on a raft and respawn there, but that means you have to have a premade bed with you when you go to bed so you can put it up next time you log in and you can build the largest ships there and you could live your whole life there IF you wanted to, without ever needing to claim anything... but again the bed and spawn issue which is kinda easilly fixed... make some friends on that island (it is possible, we have done it) 2. if land is claimed and no buildings? then go claim it, noone is stopping you other than yourself apparently... 3. islands full of crocs and snakes? wtf do you think the rest of us wake up to every morning? lillies and roses? kill them, clear the land, build (then you block some of their spawns) but they still wander into your base all the time so quit whining like a baby, make friends and play the game, or go play Minecraft

ME AND MY WIFE WORKED FOR 4 DAYS ON OUR SCHOONER WE HAD THAT SUCKER DECKED OUT AND PAINTED EVERY INCH OF THE SHIP. LOOKED SO SLICK WHEN WE MADE A STOP AT A ISLAND PEOPLE WAS TELL OTHER PLAYERS "COME LOOK AT THIS SHIP!" WE LOGGED OUT FOR A FEW HOURS LOGGED BACK IN AND SANK. IT WAS ANCHORED AND FULL 100% WE MADE SURE OF ALL THAT. BUT GONE BABY GONE AND MY WIFE WILL NOT PLAY THIS GAME EVER AGAIN. HOW ARE THEY PUTTING OUT A SHIP GAME WHERE SHIPS DONT WORK???

The fact of the matter is this: You paid 25$ for this game after a 17% off purchase price sale on initial release. You knew it was early access. You know early access games all have cry baby complaints like yours this early into release. They are still putting much time into the development phase and are working hard on fixing issues that matter and yet you act like they've tried to pass this thing off as complete. After the game has been released for 10 days it seems to me like you demanded perfection by day 2. Your technical expertise means nothing when the only thing they know of you is your youtube videos knocking them down. You do not work for them, so there fore your 'advice' is meaningless. Do us all a favor, and play the patient and humble role and just enjoy what works, otherwise some random guy like me will never subscribe to videos like this. Oh and btw, Merry Christmas & have a happy new year. I wonder how much time the dev's spent on this game instead of with their families between dec 19th until now. Children like you are the reason why we have things like 'child safe - slip handles' on door knobs and nutrition labels.

It’s a game. And getting a baby is a game mechanic, it’s not that real age is the same ingame.

I don’t think anyone knows yet.. I believe it is somewhere around ingame day 600-700. So make sure you made a baby before that time

I spent 40-50 hours on this game, making my way through many bugs and lags. Forgetting about the nightmare that was happening on the first day at the start, i swam between the islands for more than 10 hours and died tons of times to find land for settlement. I spent a lot of time building my house, gathering large reserves of resources for building a sloop. And when the game is trying to kill you all the time: lions, wolves, vitamins, spawn system and just dozens of bugs. And when there is no iron on the island. All of this is a big pain in the ass. You come back with the hope that everything will be fine further and this will not happen again. Every time you do a game favor. Remembering that this is "early access" and turning a blind eye to various problems. So, I tamed a wolf for riding and it was difficult and long. it was very exciting, but the result is justified when you sit on him and send to explore the island at high speed and jump, when the neighbors look at you with envy and admiration for the first time. Within 20 minutes after driving pleasure, I lost him after the game kindly brought me down under the texture. It was the first time I removed the game from anger, not wanting to take another loss of everything ... But something got me hooked in this game anyway and i'm back...I was going to continue to be attached to the meaning of pirate life, if it were not for one thing ... Going into the game after the rest, I found that all my lands were captured by other companies (I was playing on the PVE server). The whole island is in red spots, like a sore ass baby. Literally in 2-3 days there was absolutely no space left on the island, even a poor, lonely gull has nowhere to make a nest. Аll my buildings that I built for several days, spending tens of hours collecting resources. And yes, this is not an easy task when a character wants to eat all the time, but the strip of vitamins is already at the limit, and your iron tools, already once again eats a pack of super-speed wolves with you. From the four beds there was only one, which was hidden in the mos inconspicuous place, like a spawn. Missing ship, pier, old raft... Only me and my bare ass are left! everything passed to other people, who snored loudly and haughtily in my house, into which I could already enter. it is enough just to stick the flag while you sleep in real life to claim land. Should I start all over again? Are you serious ?! And now the question is, what's the point of playing next? I have to spend dozens of hours every time on this tedious grind, but in the meantime I go offline again 1-2 days and lose everything? I have to sit in this game 24/7, whoever puts his flag in my land? Without a "tribe", a solo player has no chance? No romance "lonely captain-robinson"? Only the ruthless gathering of grind resources? In this world, my character has no place, because every piece of land has already been captured by others, just a week after the release. I like the concept of the game, its scope and the spirit of navigation. I understand that there is not enough space for everyone on the islands(servers), and there are many who want to settle there. And these people will want to get more. Single players have no chance of survival and development. hope that the developers will come up with a system to claim territories suitable for all. I spent hours getting a raft built, box, bed massive amounts of resources stockpiled, to log in tonight and all my stuff is gone, like wtf man, if your like me married and a baby i do not get much time to play games anymore so when all my progress is stripped away like that, it just really leaves a sour feeling in my gut, so now i don't even have the motivation to play anymore, i wont do it i wont build my stuff back up just in fear of it being gone the next day for no damn reason, i logged in a freaking FREEPORT this shouldn't happen. At the moment i will not play this game anymore.

If you have not played ARK yet, they I would recommend starting with their tutorial, on their Wiki. Likely the process is 75% the same, maybe more. Breeding on ARK Survival Evolved Wiki The really short description: Put a male and female into a pen (optional, but really the only smart choice) Set them both to Wander in behavior options Watch their "love meters" Wait for message saying that the female is pregnant (some species may drop eggs. Not horses, last I checked) Keep her fed through gestation. Pregnant mammals eat twice what they normally do and any starvation will end the pregnancy. Claim the baby, keep it fed, wait for it to mature.

im not calling him an idiot to make myself feep superior im calling him an idiot for stating the obvious and youre an idiot too if you think the point of the game is to be stuck on the lawless hell holes and make a baby base out of thatch. Lawless was never meant to be a spawn point, you make a raft and you get out, but apparently you cant read the, "WHERE ARE WE SUPPOSE TO BUILD ACTUAL BASSES IF EVERYWHERE REACHABLE BY RAFT IS ALREADY CLAIMED", part of my post.
