    Nope, this is a MMO, long term building and gathering There are plenty of private servers with 3x or 10x etc. This one is supposed to take longer to build. They still need to turn instant ship construction back off too.

    Play on unofficial servers, over 3300 to choose from. Official is not meant for Solo unless you want to take the chances you already listed.

    Puckle and swivel are really meant for repelling borders, though the swivel gun fire ammo is great for setting things on fire.

    On private servers you can gain however many skill points you want per level, so one person can do it all Official is the MMO, work with others and do trade.

    Ship of the damned are pretty easy to take down, schooners can if prepared with repair materials and 3 cannons per side (saw cletus and crew do it earlier to a level 10 green boat 45k hp)

    You can use a grapple to get flotsam rather than jumping into the water. Fire arrows do amazing damage to most critters and pc and set things on fire, including oil globules.

    its crazy how some hate the game but do nothing but waste minutes of their life staying around talking about how others should hate it like them. Do you really need others to justify your opinions and self worth? Or do you have so little else in your life that you just want to ruin the fun others have?

    Forsen has 20k of 60k viewers right now, or 1/3rd, but he wasnt streaming this morning when it was at 55k viewers and still #4 slot. The game is doing well.

    There are over 3300 private servers right now, pretty sure its not the End of Atlas yet. And most of the official servers are not at 150/150 people in each grid, just so many ships/buildings causing lag / low FPS right now, which of course they need to address.

    be aware that anyone on the surface can unsuit you at the rig, also if you run out of oil you suddenly unsuit too. If down deep either is normally a death sentence.

    Its a thing, its in piracy, secrets of piracy, gives you a diving rig Put it on anything sloop or higher, put some oil in it (fish oil works) and hit E to equip suit The view is horrible, but you can then definitely salvage things.

    There is lots of land. Go somewhere, put down a flag, and defend it till the land is yours. And there not being open land for you doesnt make the game a failure, join a company and instantly you are pirating. Or join one of the 3300 private servers.

    You can also get crew by sinking ghost ships, the green ones arent that hard to sink.

    I mean, regardless of Yarrs personal issue and it not being fixed yet, we dont even have the means to report racists in game or out. So you are 100% right about communications.
