sotd drop ship blueprints planks cannons anything that goes on a ship , treasure chests drop armours and weapons ,stuff that doesn’t go on ships or or at least that’s been my experience so far

not had anything sunk for a while but i do agree having to run a gauntlet of 6-10 sotd which all seem to spawn directly in my path is getting a bit tedious i understand we need some risk but i could live with less sotd spawning in front with the lower numbers maybe doing more damage to make up for the lower amounts of them ,then at least if we do run too close to them and get sunk / take too much damage it will our fault and. not just rng

u would like to see the tax system changed as you have no land ? i have my tax set at 2% and have active neighbors my bank is overflowing with materials metal fibre etc my neighbors are chinese company they are friendly even to the point of trading flags with others on the island and setting flags to allow others to build , i don’t tax a lot they farm a lot and are better neighbors for it , tax does work as it should nothing needs changing

Sleeping bodies no longer contest claims was made perfectly clear a few patches ago But npc crew do , tames dont only crew As I have taken claims that had tames on them just this week It was intended change

U don't even play or own the game so anything you have to say is invalid

Multiplayer just means there are lots of players doesn't mean u have to have a group

Claimed an area that had buildings on got one land one sea , The previous owners had built out to sea I am able to only partially remove the old buildings even though its my name on entire area covering the building . Land claim area can demo Reminder of building sea claim In short the entire new claim is useless as cannot build too close to enemy foundations building g should auto demo when flag expires Pve servers

Player are building pens too small I have large one that allows me to Be in with to access the area behind their front legs never had had any real issues taming Wear plate armour as u will occasionally take a hit

Agree this needs a new colour for marker black cross would be better or white as poster above me include a circle around the X as well , Something g that should be an easy change but still an issue despite many requests to change it

Get better connection , on a serious note though Could be Someone digging up road and has disrupted the service In your area . issues with service provider . What grid are u in as could be just that particular grid , Hard to say as connection issues are hard to pin down

I logged in crew floating in water which was odd , got them all back on board and seated and back on cannons then found i couldn't do anything with them

I don't want to use my hard earned gold I like sailing about collecting stuff myself . I got my outpost like this was out looking for oil found a area I could claim which had shale oil rock in a small pond , Thanks didn't know about the penguins giving blubber thanks for that will have to wrap up warm and take a trip

i am in need of a 3rd oil type for my flintlock and blunderbuss bps i have shale oil right next to my base and fish oil is easy enough would anyone know location and coords of a third oil type ? as i have been searching for a while and have yet to find mineral oil or normal oil .

because despite their claims of sailing everywhere they are not actually getting off their ships and exploring the islands i have managed to get 2 small outposts by exploring and actually running about the different islands

i have this issue sometime when taming , it isn’t that it isn’t valid it’s the wrong spot elephant gets thisbwhen standing at the top of its head says to feed but u can’t , vary the areas you you are trying until successful

server update means u don’t have to restart the client u can just log to menu screen , the server is stopped , it’s updated then u can log back in .all without having to completely exit the game . not that difficult to understand .......

we are that’s what the giraffe is for we are not talking about bears , and not all areas have the thatch leaves take the bear topic elsewhere . more testing due due to the fact that hand farming with pick is hitting the tree 2 x faster than giraffe does for slightly more per hit it is far far faster even dropping it off and coming back i still farm far more than using the giraffe , i filled a large box before giraffe and rider , the 2x increase on giraffe was welcome but it does need a bit more to make it usable over hand farming .

all the changes and yet they still haven’t managed to stop the sotd all clumping up in groups of 5 or more i haven’t even left my grid on trip and have seen at least 20 ships groups of 5 plus what the flip are they doing the devs need to set the sotd pathing and the way they clump up together and render range they pop into view far too late to really make avoiding them a ski rather than pot luck

no they don’t hire an npc to contest u can’t keep a claim forever which is what this reeks of , u want to be able to log out and keep your claim without playing ,prove me wrong

no harm in doing it anyway there are enough reports of players issues being resolved so worth a shot try to not be so negative

report them via ticket system giving coords grid etc might take a few day or more to get back to you but should get sorte d

and again another reply that reeks of bitterness and oh look what i did without a tame for thatch , i and everyone else so far who played the game not every grid has what’s needed for a bear to get thatch , the answer isn’t go do what i did as i managed , players want to cut down on farming times . as op pointed out we need a dedicated thatch farming tame to speed up thatch farming ,end of ,there is nothing else that is needed or any suggestions to get around it as we all know that using pick is the fastest way available at the moment . like everyone else farming thatch by hand allowed us to build what we needed ,but a faster way is needed so we can cut down the time on land and go out and explore the grids get the discovery points needed , better bps etc etc i

this is the issue we need the cannons fixed so that the ai crew don’t shoot at fresh air then it won’t be an issue so much as we can set up cannons to combat this , ai crew few large cannons / balistaa should help defend against this sort of behaviour they are not attaking the ships they are attacking the players that hide behind the ships , u have no idea about the mechanic used when kiting the sotd to shore in pve.

damn was going to ask if they were going to add them in next patch ,

had most success cannon on rear of sloop and just kite them slowing down every now and then to get them in range taken up to lvl 19 so far take a bit of damage here and there nothing major have almost compleyed my brig going going to fit front and rear cannons to it so i have options
