  1. Hold E, access inventory, place jar/waterskin in spout's inventory Weird but works
  2. Have you tried sailing since the change? You move at an absolute crawl against the wind, it's barely faster than holding S with your sails retracted. This isn't good for much besides parking
  3. Higher speeds with the wind are good but I don't like the against-the-wind change.
  4. Wondering about this too. I walked a bear onto my boat while it was still in drydock using the ramps but now I'm afraid to take it off
  5. Polar biome has naphtha, looks like puddles of oil on the land
  6. The wind always rotates clockwise in a ~4 hour cycle, so if the wind is really unfavorable, it's guaranteed to get better in an hour or so.
  7. It seems you need the resource chest full, idle crew on the deck sweeping, at anchor, not in a freeport for them to repair. But when they do, it's fast, it seems to go plank by plank and instantly pop them back up to full health.
  8. See description in title. While on the steering wheel, I pressed U to cycle through ammo types. Upon reaching the type that was already loaded after cycling through, the guns all reloaded, disappearing the ammo that was already loaded in them.
  9. This is a really wonderful game. It's a fun and consistent simulation of the Age of Sail. I adore the flintlock pistols and the sail mechanics. But the ocean is full of bloodthirsty neon motorboats. That's not fun or consistent with the theme.
  10. I've only seen level 1 crewmen too. Would like to know how the repairs work too, I have a resource box but they've never repaired the ship. I don't have territory though

  12. Lawless zones are always next to a freeport so if you lose your bed raft the worst that happens is you have to respawn at the freeport and sail a new bed raft one grid away. Keep a couple bed rafts scattered around so you still have a respawn if somebody pops one
  13. I had one medium handling sail on a sloop, then demolished and replaced it with two small handling sails. It feels slower now. Anyone been able to test this?
  14. This isn't true at all. The devs never said this, but they did say that solo players will be supported. Has anyone tried the decay reduction skill from the Captaineering tree? Does it reduce freeport decay?
  15. They're just everywhere. They're not fun. They could have been cool and thematically fitting as a really rare and scary enemy, but that opportunity is gone now. The rest of the world has a pretty realistic theme: magic and fantasy don't play a big role. Big fleets of glowing undead ships everywhere kind of ruin that.
  16. Hard to understand how the devs got their heads so far up their asses on the ghost ship thing. This game was great on day 2, the sailing was fantastic and so unique... now it's just a less polished and feature-complete Rust
  17. Doesn't have to go back to everything being 1 point but some of this stuff is out of control... 10 points for expert ballistic studies? So much for having a gun in my pirate game

  19. D8 equatorial has it, orange blotchy thin trees that are called "Honey" when you hold H. I found a few honeycombs in the tropical biome below it, D9
  20. Maybe it's just me but it feels like I can't run as far or hit as many trees without resting
  21. Their apparent dedication is nice but they're a corporation and I worry that this was all a plan to sell a bunch of copies for Christmas then chase most of the players away to save on server costs
