  1. Do you have information about the Dev team that is working on Atlas? I think here is silence for long time @Nami @Chismebeard... let us know what you know about "them"? I am tired of writing here to nobody... listening to the sound of silence.
  2. Well with new Xbox series X there is so many new players out there that started after the wipe... and they all pay x2-3 more than the PC Players have to pay. So i don't think they will stop this game as long it is one of the most exiting titles for the console players who only watch the trailer. The 1x warehouse + market was added for the PVE comunity. On Pvp it was not needed beacuse no issue. Also new map is focussed on PVE because there are much less claimable islands. Claim Towers do not give you any Peacetime protection. Players in the lawless PvP areas will suffer a lot as the large PvP companys finish their islands building, defense and harbor structures. Large companys will set up trading routes for all resources and who ever things it's a good idea to destroy those will probably regret this. Good luck fighting with Lvl 10-20 bears against Breeded base Lvl 70-80+ horses/Tigers etc. that are ready soon. Issue about the farmhouse nerf i explained in another topic... there are basically 3 reasons why they did this. But the consequence is visible every where. PVE Players have to farm themselves again.(Like PvP too) Gold income is reduced beacuse there are less resources available for trades but you may not get buffer overflow issue anymore. Also Devs who created lumberjard, querry and mine are happy because players build those now. There are less (now useless)farms around which makes islands look much better.
  3. Last Season i was able to get about 90 trades at the maximum. Maybe this is reduced after the wipe but it was not announced if 24 is now the new limit. The only option is to replace your market and request trade with your current partners again. The Devs have not implemented an option to clear the list or some of the trade routes... it's a very bad implementation of this easy AI. Hopefully Devs will fix this before you can tame crocodiles that wear hats.... oh wait [...] well we still have hopes that on someday they will improve and fix bugs.
  4. You can skill yourself in the piratry skill tree to do more damage vs AotD... but it's hilarious to try a 1700 gold map without tames. I would say you have a chance vs 300-500 gold when you are around level 40-50 maybe. I would suggest to have a monkey for healing buff. And yes, stamina is the most importand to hit and avoid the mace soldiers. I would recommend to use a pike to stun enemy with attack 3 but mace should also work.
  5. a mystical large armored ship dock just costs you 65000 gold , the standard only 50000 -> more costs to craft than the Galleon itself... you could build 2-3 Brigs with the gold... and you can't find them anymore precrafted so you will see lots of ship wrecks on the shores and no armored docks all around.

We don't need your comments here as long you don't have some ideas that would really improve the game for all Players and not only your offline "raider" grief style. Just read you are upset that you can't claim a base with a claim tower *buh*
  7. I totaly agree to reduce the costs for shooners to max. 2000 gold that you can get there with some treasure maps and sunken treasure pretty easy. The gold cost does slow down large PvP companys a lot and force them to play much more shooner. Most have only 1 or 2 Galleons now to do Kraken etc. but there are not much ships out there that can bully small player groups. Some Players just ramm sloops vs sloops as they do not have cannons. On PVE the same old issue remains that most Players play solo and don't group up so the space is very rare. Due to less Player owned islands in new map design there should be more space for players to place warehouse and market. I just wonder if the Devs will react to multiple placed mines, quarys, lumberyards, farms warehouse and markets. It looks like there are possibilities that you can place more than one on a single island/single spot even there is a restiction.

    I agree the change is pretty worse that you can't find seeds anymore. It's fine to get them for gold on freeport but it makes crafting of medi kits much more difficult in the first week until you have lots of farms running where you can harvest seeds. But the change to have no wild version is maybe not that worse. It's much easire to tame baers and horses without having honey or sugercane. And also your farmhouse does not collect thousands of this drop away items. Maybe they should increase food and vitamin value of Berries as well and reduse their ammount in the same time.
  9. @George Catcher It's still strange with all these issues you have. Saturday I did Power Stones and had no issues with the Shooner and NPCs - but using swivel gun with enough players to man them. Also we did Kraken V1 and V2 that evening and besides most of the level 1 NPC died i heard some rumors on the galley that NPCs did not properly dismount cannons and mount the sails where the others died... but it was in the middle of those lightning tentacles that do +200 damage on V2 level^^ Maybe you should remove your cannons and place them new with more distance to each other?
  10. I tested Sextant yesterday while whale hunting and i confirm the compas disapear from the HUD afte grid change... God knows why this working feature is now corrupted... at least you still have the mini map, speed, position and direction angle 0-359°. Maybe Devs can fix this again. Also it would be nice if sunken treasure positions would be correct after grid change as well? Maybe you could programm: After grid change if Player has left time on Sextant buff the sextant buff will be added as "new" to the Player but with same time left. Sounds pretty easy to code.
  11. @George Catcher had mentioned the same issue already. But i think he is playing on PC(not sure). I myself have only a Sloop yet and there is no issue with NPCs like you describe it. Maybe it's only appearing on Brigantine and Galleon. Quite weird that they drop of the sails. Does this happen to cannons/balisatas as well? Sometimes NPC disappear very rare but they are still manning the cannon for example. This fixes itself most often after some time and grid change.
  12. nah you should play 24/7 on lawless to enjoy this game as much as possible. I just wonder why they did not add a Peacetime to the claim Towers after the wipe and first test of those. Issue with Peacetime for complete island: You can't kill other players or their tames... but it would be great if green anchored ships could be safe in claimed area and your base could be safe 2/3 of the day time when you are offline to make some RL stuff or just sleep xD.
  13. 1. Did not test the sextant yet after wipe but will have a look on this too. 2. yes quite weird costs for crew when using the ship as intended. But this is because of the reduced costs of inactive crew on land that got much cheaper from Season 3 to 4. The reduest cost skill for captain is maybe not working as intended by the first Devs after changes from new Devs. 3. Known Issue. The map icons are only correct in the grid where you activate the sextant. After changing grids it's incorrect. 4. nothing to add to this. 5. My sloop drives as intended, very slow 3-5 knots and also no good handling for such a small ship.(Using medium handling sail) But there are some sloops out there right now that have permanent trade wind bonus driving 30 knots with 30% sails open agaisnt the wind and red sail. You have to stop and choose directin because you can't stear them at full speed. Maybe you have this bug or using speed sails to face this issue. Most likely you don't remember playing sloop as this ship was not used before gold costs arrive. 6. I have full gathering hand harvest skill. But i never cross checked if it increases the amount i really gather... but it fells like it does. 7. Is it possible to set Peacetimer on Sea Forts? Don't know this mechanic yet on PvP.
  14. I have the same issue but all my 5 farms are connected. But sometimes it just shows that there are only 3 or 4 connected. 2 of my farms are close to the edge of the warehouse circle. But you should see the difference if one farm is collecting and not emptyed by the warehouse. My biggest issue: lumberjard, mine and querry have no circle of their gathering area. If you get far away from the center of warehouse circle and hold H the circle disappear and it get's difficult to figure out if you place the farm inside the circle when looking from >100m distance through trees or mountains/rocks.
  15. I guess you are playing on PVE with lots of motivated trading partners and benefiting from the fact that you settle on lawless which should have more resources than the claimable islands. So your trading is very easy. Also you trade for example 1:1 metal for metall, wood for wood etc. On PvP this is not possible if you are settler on a claimable island like i am actually. I am surounded by others that all have the same metal, wood, thatch and fiber like me so we have to set up different tradings that do not fit well. For example i have 200k fiber in warehouse but nobody wants to receive fiber around me^^
  16. The changes of farmhouse are not nice from Player view. We got something that made our lifes much easier, especially for solo players. But now they have taken this away from us. Of course we are upset. The question remains why did they do it? 1. They did not like that players did only use farmhouse -> why they put that effort in new buildings that nearly nobody did use -> make players have to use them 2. They figure out the "main gold income" was way too much to reduce ship amount and especially PvP Players bought way to much Dragon Tokens to make PvP land/air fight to counter enemy safe basses on high mountains. -> it was suggested to change the islands mountain height but you just manage to change building height restriction... lame new map we were exited about. 3. The Devs had a big problem with the "buffer overflow server outage" caused by the insane ammount of trades the Players created to gain as much gold as possible from the (passive)system. Consequence: They needed to lower the resource income from farms(nerfed farm house income 75%) and removed option to gather coal, oil and saps. But if Players farm resoures by Hand they also needed to lower the amount of possible trades. The maybe increased capacity of the trade ships does not count very much as you only earn gold by trading. So it's simple everybody trading 1:1 like before. While on PvE lawless you have lots of different resources arount and you trade metal for metal on PvP you set trades between your own markets and build circles of trading. For my market that means in PVE last Season i had always about 400-500 trades running with 2 farms. Now i have 2-5 trades running at the same time which give me 12-24 gold each.(I am currently solo playing and don't have second warehouse to trade with myself so i trade to random strangers on PvP which is much worse than on PVE). But good news for Devs: We build lumberjard, mine and querry now and there is no large wind mills on the islands left. And also no need to investigate the buffer overflow at the moment. Mission Passed. Respect+ If the Devs would just communicate this to the Players that we understand why you do the change the feedback would maybe be better. I mean there are lots of Players out there that like the change because now we actually need farming tames again. Breeders have more targets than just horses and crows. Make Farmhouse at least gather coal, oil and saps. Or put fiber to the lumberjard and remove the farm at all. Biggest concern for gold cost is 5k for Shooners... f*ck i hate traveling sloops with 3-5knots. That is ok if you start from freeport but a Shooner should be lower gold costs. Maybe change it to 1000 gold if you don't want 0. I just had to travel 2,5 grids to freeport to get some NPCs for my Balistas to make the whale quests... the journey took me from 19:00 to 22:45 with a medium handling sail and half weight sloop. I had to drive north but you know around prime time EU 20:00 the wind is blowing from west with lowest speed...everyday....always same time.... always same wind... PRIME TIME.... GG So now i have sloop, Balista and NPC and settled in Thundra i only need to travel west 4 grids to reach polar grids... again prime time low wind speed, wind is blowing straight in my face... journey time without hunting whale = 8 hours.
  17. @George Catcher thank you for this very good conclusion of the system working on PVE server. So I guess limit of one warehouse per island was a step by the Devs to consider PVE a little bit. I test things on PvP this time and there the players face some other issues. PvP Players trade with themselfes so they need now 3-4 islands to have markets connected and get decent gold income. So all large tribes try to own a complete grid with all islands and even spread into lawless if next to it. Also there are only few claimable grids left. But luckyly it looks like there are not that much players like Maelstorm map start.(Season 4) To have the maximum effect of farms over the complete islands connected to warehouses the companys need settler companys. 1 farm + 1 warehouse/market for each company is still a great idea for PVE if the one farm can gather all resources on the island no matter where it is placed. But this could be also a point some players may not agree to. On PvP Players would do everything what is possible to max out the income they can passively generate by any abuse of the system they can find. So the mindsets of both Player groups are very different just divided by the fact that one live in peace and the others can have war/destruction all day. So as long Devs try to keep the game only as 1 setting they face the issue that their systems can't fit to both playstyles.
  18. it was confirmed by Conch that this is intended by the Devs so far.(Discord channel only) They are mad that players only used the farmhouse and not the so nicely developed mines, quarrys and lumberyards out of some few places where a mine or lumberyard was more effective. I still suggest to have only one farm building in which you can adjust the % of resources around that shall be gathered. Fo example set herbs and berrys to 0% but you need 70% metal and 10/10/10 fibre, wood, thatch and don't want stone and flint. sugar, oil and coal can't be farmed with actual gathering buildings.
  19. well Devs wrote that they expect the main income for gold is reduced by 60% but i guess it is much more reduced. If you had 4 farms running you now have simply only 1 working. Reduction = 75% (1x farm, 1x lumb, 1x mine, 1x quarry) 75% less resources in warehouse + double ammount of required resources to start trade = no trades starting^^ And on top you get 20% less gold for the double shipment if it starts.(+events where your captain goes empty and just has a parrot egg) but Devs i agree, it is 20% + 20% + 20% = 60% Do not trust any statistics that you have not falsified yourself

  21. Hello @George of the jungle i don't understand the title of this topic in regards to your text below? What is the endgame you are talking about? Killing the Yeti at day 3 is not endgame because the only use of the Yeti boss is currently to obtain a skill. ->harvest boost. Ok, you can make torpedos also. The Yeti cave can't be entered with tames so you need a decent progression with your character to survive the cave. With hugh numbers of players you can go in with less good equipment... but you can't do it solo even you are level 120. The biggest issue for this is currently medical kits as you have to buy the seeds on freeport and gethering medical herbs is much more effort -> Plants changed but not mentioned in the patch notes. Wild plants are removed from the game and you can't find wild seeds anymore. Doing the Powerstones is a quest that you can do when ever you want and think you are prepared to do so. With expirience it gets more easy when you know the best tactics. The endgame of this is intended to be the PvP fights actually. Players are right now using sloops and shooners. There are maybe some (common)Brigs out there and on PvP maybe also a few Galleons(not prooved). Yes there are Players that increased their max level to 100+ already but they have maybe reached Lvl 60-65 so far.

    Well i see farmhouse changes have very high impact to PVE players which are solo playing. They now have to farm again. Positive would be that breeders now can sell tames again for people that need to farm faster. I myself got easy to 6 farm structures as settler on a PvP island until i can join the main tribe. My biggest issue: I have so less resources with 30% taxes that i can't start any trades because i don't have any resources for that. If all 5 connected gathering building would be the old farms collecting everything i would be fine. But now i have 3 mines that only collect metal, 1x farm that collects daily as much fibre like my bear does in 1 minute!!!! and 2 lumberyards that collect daily as much as i myself can gather in 25 minutes with one bear and 2 metal axes.(3x mines because the island does not have only metal nodes) I think i will replace the farmhouse with another lumberyard. Bad is that there is no building collecting resin(any kind of sugar) and also coal will not be gathered... there is no reason for Devs to do this change. But they are mad about the players that did not build that much mines and lumberyards as farms were much more effective. The main company is busy getting tames like elephants, girafes and rhinos the hole weekend as the gather buildings are not doing their job(like last season). People are doing treasure maps even if they are grey with 60 gold to level up and just to get some gold for shooners. It will be long time until solo players can build a Brig by only gathering gold from the "main income" trading routes/marked. @photek hopefully that bug with improved gather buildings was fixed... but as long i lack that much on resources i will not check if the capacity can be filled above 100% as my buildings do not reach the 10% filling. Good thing is that lumberyards can run like 2 days until they are completely filled if not connected to warehouse. Well as i figure out with Geroge Catcher last Season it was pretty easy to set up trades between players that get you about 10k gold per day. From PvP i heared amounts of 80-100k per day. So there where companys that bought daily 4-5 Dragon tokens to tame and attack because gold had no value. So yes, changes for solo Players are bad but for large companys it got more difficult as well. But large companys can have much better progress of course. I guess lots of Players have finished the rush to Power Stones already and also the Yeti was killed yesterday to optain the powerfull skill "Harvest Boost" which is very important on the PvP servers after the wipe. Maybe even some did already kill the kraken v1. But i heard only rumors that one company had already the gold to build a galleon(to have 40-50 guys shooting with carabine).
  23. Don't know, i am at work in EU and it's still some long time until i can start... if i want too... So there is no NA PvP, EU PvP and World PVE? George Catcher sound like he is playing PVE Server.
  24. You was Level 52 on a server that got wiped before new patch went online. We now have a new Atlas World and Map and everybody is starting with nothing and Level 0/1 to have the chance to explore the new map (layout) in a new "journey". What remains is your expirience in this game to start again and get back to Level 52 or even further very soon.
  25. Only lawless claiming[...] that would be a realy big change to the game and 24/7 possibility to everyone loosing everything while offline. Well i guess this gets a thumbs up from Chukiki. But if this gets true i guess a lot of large tribes will quit the game without having Peacetime anymore.
