Blackwood has no ships of the damned, no fish, no rocks or seaweed... nothing. I understand that the game isn't completely finished yet, but why is this a thing? I was about to put cannons on my ship and stopped... what for? Where is the challenge, or reason to explore the ocean? You just go to slightly different islands to do the same things over and over again... Why? There's no sea combat on Blackwood... in a game where you're a pirate??? The wiki also shows a reasonable list of resources from the ocean map which don't exist on Blackwood, meaning recipes and other craft items cannot be made, despite being available to build. It. Doesn't. Make. Sense. Can we have some notification of whether these things are going to be fixed, or if the map will simply be devoid of these vital things? It ruins the experience, and makes it an exploration and zoology game, instead of pirating. If this is the how it's going to be, how do I get a refund? This is on XBOX by the way. My laptop (which can easily run the game) doesn't load any servers, it's just crashes midway through. Loads single player and runs at nearly max graphics absolutely fine, but crashes loading any server with players on...

The goal is to move players more at sea. I think that's more PvE accounts, like the octopus that draws players at sea. I imagine Moby Dick. Or Loch Ness. Or Megalodon. Everything like octopus with subsequent loot or acquiring an ability.

I ran into this, it seems that the ocean floor actually counts as where the ground starts. So, even if you would like to build a base out on the ocean, it is impossible. It says "Too high above ground, cannot place" when trying to place a ceiling or stair above water in deep ocean Is there any way around this? I find it hard to believe that sea claims can only be built on underwater..... if so, then what are they even for?

Am I the only one who is close to have had enough of the sea claim barrels and all the flag notifications where either the owner or some random person wants to tell us something completely irrelevant? The entire map is close to being red if not already. it´s bad enough on land, but at least there is something valid about it. On sea however it´s barrel after barrel, usually with 3-5 barrels in sight always. I get it, sea claim and specially for the feb update is going to pay back in the bank. We are landlords(And sealords) ourselves, never harvest. Just let all the others do the work because we just got lucky. Born with a silver spoon (thank god for the unlimited resource box). However it is just getting stupid. All the 5000 flags per server with all it´s random player made flags that the client has to load each time it passes can´t be good either. Shoot a SOD? We take a cut, harvest from the seabed? We take a cut, found some floatsam? We take a cut. That part I like, but let´s be honest. At a time a patch note said it would remove sea claims and there was much rejoicing. Only to see the patch notes being changed again so they stayed. Feb patch will add teal colour to allies. But for the rest of the map your X is forever gone. So despite how I hate it in my bank account. Can we please once and for all get rid of the sea claims and every single flag notification. Not that either the claim system or lawless system even work to begin with...

Giant whirlpools like this that damage but port you a large distance random 1/5 spots. rotating. Super windy/rainy, making insanely big waves. Blistering Heat as currently there is super cold. also add scurvy to those who are on sea too much. Random floating icebergs, then rocks to crash into not shown on map. Giant Turtles that move slowly and can build on somewhat, but then go underwater. Wind buffs that only you can see if you have Captain skill. giant water caves with unique resources/monsters to tame. Small scale NPC ships that do trade runs. being able to buy them out, steal crew, take over, or just kill for fun. Adding good or bad rep. Sailing should feel more adventurous and randomized, but rewarding like a Roguelike if you take a weak ship and make wrong choices. Never seen a trade ship yet.

The bug is in the title, I saw a shipwreck, went down to investigate and crash, came up with an error, trying to log back in takes multiple attempts, once I got back in, I could hear me swimming but a black screen then I crashed again, no error this time. I'm not the only one, server admin tried it and she too drowned.

the game started at 255 ms in all points of respown, some people managed to alir but the vast majority did not and now the islands are full of flags which we can not catch because they have 4000000 beds and teleport, we need a wipe NOW or this game will be without players in less than 1 week, the thing is serious, a group of 20 people can not do anything, less than one and we are only 30, we are more than 300 and part of the lag that gives, we come With galleons simply because they have played 1 day before, they said that creating boats would be difficult, there are already people with huge boats and many cannons, there is also no island or island, boring sea when ghost ships and hidden treasures were promised, where everything is promised ?
